Sukari entered Konoha’s training ground. It was not the kind she would prefer to be practicing this technique in. Not enough water to make her feel comfortable. Well, that didn’t matter so much… she could always make her own water… but still, she had always enjoyed having water around her. It meant that she could use her Suiton jutsu more easily. That reminded her, she should practice her Raiton. While she’d been giving a lot of attention to her Suiton, she knew no Raiton techniques. That was less than ideal, if she were in a situation where Suiton was useless – such as against Doton – she would need another element to help her. Well, as backup… her puppets always came first. But that was not the point of coming there today, the point was practicing Suiton. Specifically, another Suiton technique that would allow her to hide. That was her fighting style. Summon her puppets, and fight with them while she kept out of harm’s way. Which, of course, was aided by having techniques that would make it easier to hide. And that was what she was here to practice: The Hidden Mist Jutsu. Her Hiding in Water technique would only help for so long, but the Hidden Mist Jutsu was often regarded as a water ninja’s best defensive technique.

It would be best used if she already had some water, so she formed a few quick hand signs for the Water Release: Archerfish jutsu, creating a large puddle of water. Not that large, but you get the idea. While she could technically use the jutsu without an outside source of water, the water around her would make it easier… and would also help set the mood for her training. She always felt better around bodies of water, even something as small as a puddle.

Suddenly a small white bird flew down to her and landed on her shoulder. She frowned and took the scroll it presented, before it flew off. Weird mail birds... people rarely used them anymore, but she supposed that it was useful. She opened the scroll and read what was inside... a message that detailed a return mission to Kirigakure... that was starting soon. She scanned the letter a couple times, before sighing and pocketing it. Training would have to wait, she thought as she exited the grounds and headed to the mission center.
