Forbidden Communications [Private | Mission] Qaq7DSu

Under the disguise of Verdandi's black armor set and the makeshift mask she created herself. Verd moved to a location not far off the border camps. One of the many ponds that were scattered around the desert. An oasis as she had seemed them by the dozens already. Verdandi's job as a mercenary had just recently begun. The primary intention behind all of this being a two bladed sword. On one side she was specifically tasked to gain further trust within the enemy's mercenary system and raise in ranks for them to get access to more important and useful intel. Verdandi however also had to take the second priority into account. That the missions specifically had to involve dealing with Kumogakure as a target enemy. Verdandi's contractor didn't mind her wishes. After all he was just a middle man as well, a hired muscle from the real organisation behind the scenes. Hiring muscles wherever possible. Considering the serious lack of shinobi man-power it was certainly to no surprise that they independent party, or rather, the pro-sunaan party was desperately looking for more muscle mass. Never the less. Verdandi was very aware that the war wasn't going as perfectly smooth as many of the village nin might be hoping for. A lot of the Ryujin forces were surprisingly efficient. The radicalized troops were spreading and the number of massively powerful enemies were growing still. Many of them still in hiding. Many of them still working from behind the curtains. But what did it matter to Verdandi?

The aspiring ANBU was tasked yet another mission to show her powers and make clear she could work on a politically important level. To prioritize the good will and ideals of Kirigakure with the ability to go past certain basic morals and actively impose damage upon an enemy country. While Verdandi would have clearly refused to do anything against Iwagakure or Konoha for that matter. She knew that Konoha already had its positive relationship with the mist. Conflict between them seemed highly unlikely at this point. Verd was certain their friendship would stay until, eventually someone was to actively try and crumble the whole system. She was scratching her head. So many worries in her head. But while she picked up the first intel scroll and made her way quickly towards her next check point. One had to see that there wasn't really much else for her to do other than to work on her own tactics and contemplate about what is going to happen. Verd of course. By-passed a certain middle stop. Hiding herself within a little sandstorm on the way. She would come into contact with her ANBU squad leader. His intel specialist already ready when Verdandi arrived. The masked girl just dropped the scroll on the table. Under the use of some special dojutsu they were able to read the contents without actually opening. It was coded language of course. But still intel non the less. The whole thing didn't last more than two minutes and Verdandi magically reappeared at the end of the sand storm to casually continue on her path.

Arriving at the point in question. The next mercenary camp was actually filled with a lot of mercs. A good two dozen. Hired muscle. Not even one of them actual sunaan as it seemed at least. Probably a few of them were, in disguise. Verdandi handed over the scroll. Shed no word. Took her payment and disappeared. She could easily see that they instantly checked if the scroll had been opened or not. She was certain that none of them were trusting her just yet. But fairly enough this was but just the beginning of her contract. On her way back to her own merc camp, Verdandi received a simple confirmation in form of a Morse coded radio signal she could tune into. The coordinated of the merc camp she had been to would soon be used as intel as well. Infiltrating the camp with an ANBU that would take over the role of one of the already existing mercs there. A specialist. There were scary individuals in the kiri special forces. Verdandi was aware that she still had a long way to go if she ever wanted to become part of them. After all, her desire for power and her desire to be able to change the whole world at her whim… was still in her primary goals. So she could create the perfect world, to protect the little things she cherished.
