Mission:

The boy stood alone in his tent, his body tense as he stared into the eyes of the mask he held in his hands. The visage of the Owl starring back into his eyes, as if it were penetrating him to his very core. The young shinobi slowly ran a finger down the side of his mask almost as if he was caressing it, this would be the first time that Myrddin would be gracing the land of wind with his presence. Though he had been sworn into the Anbu many weeks pior to coming to Kaze no Kuni, the boy has maintained his own presence keeping his darker self hidden in order to help the people of this land. Before he set out from the village hidden in the clouds the boy had debated on even bringing his gear, thinking that it would not be necessary however now with the recent events he is glad he had brought it. With what the boy was planning he could not risk his actions tracing back to the village hidden in the cloud nor himself, as that would hinder all the work he had done up to this point. No this was something that the boy could not do himself, placing the mask over his face and then pulling the hood of his cloak over his head the young boy reached to his back to ensure Ikari was strapped to his belt as it should be. Leaving the tent with great haste, Myrddin would make his way through the Kumogakure border camp and out onto the sands of the land of wind.

The night sky was clear of any sign of clouds, allowing the light of the moon to cascade over the land of wind. The mask shadow moved across the sand, his movement hastened by his goal. He had manage to infiltrate the enemy, his mission was to intercept a message from the hidden mist village camp to Konoha. But from what he was told this was just a cover, the message was truly meant for the man that hired the boy that meant only one thing. There was a traitor out there and he needed to find them, though it appeared that the spy was within the Kirigakure camp the young shinobi held no actual proof of their existence only his gut feeling. This is what he was setting out to prove, the boy needed evidence before he brought the person or persons down. Though the spy seemed to be only giving Kirigakure secrets away to the enemy the boy had taking an interest in the traitorous acts of those involved, they had interfered with two of the boy's missions as well as countless others and he could not allow them to continue. If his earlier progress proved to be successful then everything would go according to plan and he would have little trouble with what he was about to do. When the young shinobi reached his destination he activated his sensory jutsu, just as was plan he felt the approach of the familiar chakra as he expected. Despite not sensing anyone else's presence near this source, the young boy knew that the man would not be alone. The boy had a strong feeling that his target would have at least a few guards with him, and since he could not sense any other chakra he could only assume that his target was under the guard of Anbu. This would make his job harder depending on how many were with the man, but that did not change what he needed to do it only changed how fast he was going to have to act.

A smile formed beneath the masked face of the boy as he saw his target come into view in the distance with three others, reaching to his back beneath his cloak he removed his Kaminari Steel windmill shuriken from it's holster opening it in the same motion as he readied to release it at his targets. It was time for Myrddin to go to work.

Maikeru leaned against a rock. The night desert night felt a little cold. It was warm enough to not need heavy clothing but somehow cold enough to see his own breath. Tonight, even the mostly level headed Maikeru was feeling a bit on edge. He had never done anything quite like this since Takehare died. Nothing on this level. He stared into the stars. He felt his heart pump on his hand from his arms folded over his chest. Not too much. But it was certainly noticeable. There was a man next to him, leaned over. He was working on a puppet of his, in the form of an Oni Demon. Maikeru watched as he tinkered away, looking at him do so, but not really paying attention, drowning in his own thoughts. Maikeru had a job to do. Upon further investigation he had been finding more and more about Kumo’s motives. Hastur plans on exerting his will over Sunagakure. Taking advantage of its vulnerability. It made Maikeru sick to his stomach. But that wasn't important right now. Now he was on a mission. When he accepted the mission, it was from a tall, mysteriously cloaked man, face covered by a wool bag, with a smiley face made of stitches and holes for seeing. His serious attitude along with the smiling face bag made him very unsettling to talk to. But Maikeru held his tongue and accepted the mission regardless. Maikeru was told that someone he would be getting a partner for his part, and there would be someone who was already going to cut off the communication. Maikeru had no idea why he was wanted for this mission. He is significantly of lower power than most people who would do it. Nonetheless it was an interesting mission. One that paid rather handsomely.

“Alright. He just needed some tuning and tinkering. A check up so to speak. The Great Demon King has to be in top condition.” The man got up and dusted himself off. His name was Chikara, a ronin on this mission. A quite powerful one at that. “Alright now let's move. We don't have much time.”
“You are the one who wasted time on the puppet.” Chikara looked angrily at Maikeru. His face melted into a thought provoked one, and then dissolved into a laugh. “I guess you're right.
C’mon let's go.” And the two went off into the night. Maikeru only wished he had bright Chie on this mission. She would have been quite useful, with her camera eye. Before Maikeru could completely finish his thoughts, he is stopped By Chikara. He points ahead, towards Shinobi that were walking. “That's our target. So that means the other guy can't be closed by. We don't attack until he does, got it? In the meantime get ready. For a fight.” Maikeru cracked his Knuckles. His partner used his Chakra strings to reach behind his back, and grab his puppet. It flung from behind, and stopped instantly in front of him. It was quite tall, with a Oni head
From the neck down it was entirely covered in a tattered cloak.

Maikeru closed his eyes and activated Gaia’s Eyes. He used the vibration to sense the weight beneath the sand. Beside the VIP, there were four people. One of them was walking ahead of the man, and another behind him, both of whichever dozens upon dozens of yards meters away. Another was a bit closer, but to the diagonal right. These three men were walking in the same pace as the VIP. In complete sync. Guards that remained conspicuous by standing far apart from one another. None of which counted on Maikeru having vibration sensing Jutsu. “The plan is simple. You provide us Intel. On the battlefield. We need to know the exact locations of everything that's going down. I'll protect you of any of them come after you. Do not engage. You will die. Got it?”
“Wow you are a chipper one are ya?” Chikara laughed at Maikeru's ironic retort. “But no seriously, I'll try to stay alive.” Chikara moved his puppet a bit closer to the target, yet far enough to not make it obvious of an ambush. As soon as the other agent attacks, that is when he will strike…

Once the targets got within range Myrddin struck, launching his Kaminari Steel Windmill Shuriken at the man in the lead. As soon as he had released his shuriken he began moving again dashing out from his sand dune to the south heading to come up on the travellers left side where the courier was open, he knew that the shuriken would not reach it's target at least not if these anbu had any decent training under their belt. The windmill shuriken had but two purposes the first of which was to serve as a distraction as he moved in closer, the second was to signal his would be partners in this endeavour. The young anbu did not know who it was that the masked man had intended to send in on this mission with him, but he had to hope that they could hold their own in a fight or at the very least serve as a distraction even for just a few minutes for him to be able to complete the assignment. The boy did not care if they lost their lives helping him so long as they did not die too quickly, them serving their purpose and helping him to reach his goal was all that mattered to the young shinobi. Myrddin's movements were fast and percise each step of his foot held meaning, there was not a single wasted movement on the boy's part. Reaching into his pouch as he ran the boy pulled out three of his Kaminari Steel shurikens, holding them between his fingers before launching them at the courier in the middle of the pack as he continued his path that would bring him around to the back side of the group. By this point the boy's windmill shuriken had been spotted and knocked off of its path and into the sand, the men were on high alert now moving in closer to the courier eyes looking for movement from where the windmill shuriken had come from. The next couple of seconds seemed to slow down as the Anbu in the back of the formation moved in front of the path of the three shuriken that had been aimed at the courier, knocking them away with his blade. This was what Myrddin had been waiting for, as soon as the man in the back moved to intercept the three shuriken Myrddin altered his path and headed in straight for the group's back flank which was now weakened by the man moving from his station. Pulling out six more shuriken from his pouch, three in each hand, the boy launched them on either side of the courier as he continued to move towards their position. After launching the shuriken Myrddin released a burst of chakra that propelled him forward closing the gap between himself and the group. His propulsion forward actually put him ahead of his shuriken allowing the young shinobi to reach the group before his shuriken did, his first target was the courier however the Anbu that had blocked his earlier shuriken attack blocked the boy's punch with his blade. Myrddin had not expected the man to move in the way as fast as he had but quickly adapted to the situation, charging chakra into his hands the young shinobi began striking at the arm of the man that held the blade before a final and powerful kick sent the man's sword flying into the air.

The man had been so focused on the boy and stopping him from attacking the courier that he forgot about the shuriken whose path he was still in, two of the shuriken struck the man in the arm while the third bounced off his mask. The target of the other three shuriken was able to dodge the shurikens before coming to the aid of his comrade. With the first man no longer holding his blade as well as the damage he suffered to his arm both from the boy's attack as well as the shuriken that had struck him, he would be easier to deal with however the boy did not eliminate him as a threat. With the second man quickly approaching the boy formed a single handseal creating a small cloud of dust and sand to surround the area within a four meter radius of himself, this would help him as he highly doubted he would be a match fighting against two anbu at the same time even if one of them was wounded, at least not if they had received the same training he had but with the cover of his windstorm he would hold the upper hand. The young shinobi's focus was on the two anbu that he was currently fighting, however he did not forget about the third one. He could only assume that the third man was not engaging because of the fact that he was covering the courier should others attack or he was already engaged with those that were meant to be helping the boy in this mission. Either way if his partners in the endeavor failed to eliminate the third anbu or did not show up to help at all, he would deal with the man after he finished with these two.

Maikeru looked at Chikara, his fingers attached to Chakra strings, focusing on the walking man. Maikeru saw his still fingers. Not even the slightest of movement was coming from them, neither the puppet. He gulped. Then his fingers began to move slightly, the puppet slightly inching towards the target. He was sensing it. Maikeru was sensing it. The time to strike was within seconds…

A large shuriken flew from behind the dune. Chikara ran forward, his puppet moving on his side. Maikeru looked to find that the men were fast approaching. He kept his Gaia’s Eyes on, and hid behind his dune, refusing to be spotted. He calmed himself, and took a deep breath. Coordinating his movement. Coordinating everyone’s movement. The mysterious mission partner couldn’t have been that old. He took out some shuriken and moved very quickly, moving towards the location of Maikeru and Chikara. When Chikara noticed this he stopped, and giving up his puppet to one hand, and running in the other direction. To Maikeru, it was almost as if the partner had teleported to their location, for he had lept towards them with great speed. Maikeru watched as he battled one of the ANBU who had quickly moved into action, protecting the VIP. Maikeru felt the impact of his arm and mask become disrupted, as shuriken struck him.

Chikara on the other hand, was dealing with one of the ANBU. His puppet began to spit large amounts of fire in his direction. He dodged it and jumped into the air. Creating hand seals, the ANBU let out a large wave of water to clash with the flames. Maikeru felt more than useless. One of the men jumped away from the boy he was fighting, and took out a Kunai. He launched it at Chikara. Maikeru spat up a glob of mud, still hidden behind his sand dune. The ran away from his direction, to get around the fights. Maikeru didn’t need much. He just needed a sure shot. While his allies have successfully held off, Maikeru pointed his finger at the target. The wolves began to charge at him. H waited for them to get his attention. They were positioned to be on the opposing side facing away from Maikeru. The VIP turned around, and easily dispatched them with some Jutsu. But then Maikeru fired a shot of lightning towards him. He shouldn’t be able to feel it, as all it does is apply the Detonator Jutsu. Maikeru figured that the jutsu would cause too much ruckus, especially for a jutsu that wouldn’t kill him right away. He needed to wait for either more damage to be done to him. It should be a fail safe. If he gets away. Maikeru sat patiently and slid further away from the fight for safety.

A single bead of sweat began to form on the young shinobi's forehead beneath his mask as he continued to deal with the two Anbu presently. He soon realized he might have underestimated his opponent's skills, or rather he over estimated his own skills. Though they were considered to be equals as Anbu it was quite obvious by their tactics that the two operatives that he was facing were not only more experiences in combat but also had experience in combination attacks and cooperative movements. For a brief moment the boy doubted his ability to take these men on, however that thought was quickly pushed aside by the boy's own pride. The boy knew that no matter his prowess with hand to hand combat he was no match against the pair of them together even within his cloud of dust and sand, with a quick charge of chakra the boy released a burst of chakra from all around him sending a shockwave out that pushed the two Anbu away from him. The boy hoped that maybe with some distance between them he would stand a better chance, unfortunately the two anbu had other plans in mind. Despite the push back the pair of anbu were completely unaffected by it, both of them launching a wave of shuriken at the boy as soon as their feet were back on the ground. Quickly forming a string of five handseals the boy surrounded himself in a whirlwind of wind chakra that took the shape of a fifteen meter tall dragon sitting around him with him in the dragons belly. The shuriken the anbu had sent at him became caught in the torrent of wind flying out away from him leaving himself and the dragon unharmed. The boy tried to devise a quick plan of action, however before he was able too the two anbu conjured dragons of their own, one made of fire while the other was made of water. The boy knew these techniques, though he could not use them himself he had seen them in action before, unfortunately for him these dragons were the opposite of his own. Rather then made for defense these dragons were created to destroy his defense, and they had a high probability of destroying his dragon as well as the boy himself.

The fire dragon was the first to strike, the boy had no doubt that the pair of Anbu assumed it would destroy the dragon. An assumption that they would have been right about had it not been for the fact that the young shinobi's wind was not the same as the everyday wind user. The firedragon erupted on impact with the wind dragon causing the fire to swirl around the boy briefly before dissipating leaving the wind dragon still standing. The two Anbu looked at one another no doubt surprised that the boy's defense was still standing, before the second Anbu attacked with his water dragon. The boy knew that it would not withstand the full force of the attack and seconds before impact launched himself out of his wind dragon to the left avoiding the attack as his dragon faded from existence. The boy however would not stop there, using the destruction of his dragon as a distraction the boy charged around to the left of where he was coming up on the pair's right flank. Just before he reached the pair the boy dropped low preforming a sweeping leg kick releasing a arc of wind chakra that quickly took shape of a large tornado, catching one of the Anbu within his twister the boy channeled more chakra into his feet before launching himself off the ground and into the air along side the unfortunate soul that had been caught in his tornado. Once next to the man in the air the boy spun to deliver a powerful downward kick that would send the man plummeting towards the earth below, the impact with the ground would detonate the bomb of wind the boy had transferred to the man with his kick delivering major damage to the man both internally as well as externally. The man was dead before the boy made it back to the ground, once his feet were back on the ground the boy turned his attention to the second Anbu before him. Dropping into his stance he motioned for the man to come at him, the boy ready for anything the man could throw at him.

Chikara continued to whirl his fingers around, before spinning around and grabbing the Kunai while his other hand continued to tend to the other ANBU. His multitasking skills were off the charts, as he then threw the Kunai at the opponent the opponent he was fighting using his puppet, s simultaneously creating a flick with his middle finger, causing the four long metal tentacles to appear under the cloak of the floating Puppet. On the end of each of them were long menacing and cerated hooks. Maikeru watched, himself intimidated by them, the look and aura of lethalness shrouded them, as Chikara slightly moved his fingers to slice two of the hooks on each other, sparks spitting off them. The puppet moved lightning quick.

The puppet moved at lightning speed, the puppet dashed to the right, almost nothing but a blur of black and slight red, slashing at his left leg, effectively cutting it off. The limb flew to the side with blood spraying out of it and the thigh it came from. He screamed to the top of his lungs, grabbing at his thigh in pain and in horror. Chikara pulled his hands down violently, causing all of the puppets hooks raised into the air. He then threw his hands into the air, having all of the tentacles come down on the ANBU, blood spitting everywhere, and the sound of meat being heard. He then raised his hands a second time, the Oni puppet flying into the air. He then swung his body around, the puppet moving towards the other side of the battlefield. In an attempt to smash right into the the VIP. Maikeru begin putting his hand into a half tiger seal, but then stopped, just waiting for him to try something and Maikeru would blow him up with his Detonator Jutsu.

Until something happened...he jumped over the puppet and and landed in front of Maikeru looking right at him. Maikeru stood still, stunned by the sudden change. “You...are a troublesome one. He grabbed Maikeru by the neck, and lifted him up. “You might want to stay back. Or I kill-”  While he was talking, the Oni Puppet had slowly opened its mouth, and let out a fast saw blade that severing his hand from his arm, dropping Maikeru, who threw it aside and stumbled away. The man then turned his attention towards the boy who had been fighting the two men. Maikeru had been focusing on Chikara, but he did notice it got pretty loud over in that direction. Maikeru turned to see that he had killed one of the ANBU. The Oni puppet flung another saw blade at his leg, before the VIP could launch a jutsu onto him. Chikara started to fling multiple blades at him, at a faster rate, cutting into his chest, finally killing him. “Mission complete.” Chikara walked over to Maikeru and gave him a pat on the shoulder. “You did good.” Chikara spun around again, and smashed his puppet into the opponent that the boy was fighting, throwing him to the side. Chikara yelled to him. “Finish him!”

The second Anbu was not about to fall as easily as his partner, but the boy was done waiting for the anbu to attack. As the boy charged forward to strike the man, but he was prepared. Throwing together a string of hand seals the man released a powerful stream of water from behind his mask, the boy did not have a chance to dodge being hit by the full force of the water stream as he got pushed back by the sheer pressure of the attack. The boy was knocked off his feet and sent flying back hitting the ground hard on his back as the water pushed him over ten meters away from where he had been. Before the boy had a chance to recover from the blast of water the man form more hand seals and began creating ten balls of fire around him before casting them at the boy. The young Anbu saw the advancing fire balls just in time to push himself off the ground launching himself into the air to avoid the attack, spinning in mid air before landing back on his feet. Though he had been able to dodge the second attack the boy scolded himself for being caught in the first attack, the bruising on his chest still stung but he knew that he could not waste time complaining about some minor pain. The boy took a defensive stance as he quickly began weighting his options, the man made no move to advance meaning that like the boy he was taking a defensive position to the situation. This of course presented a problem for the young Anbu who was trying to end the man's life, with the distance between them if the boy tried to advance on the man as he had before he felt sure that the man would counter his advancement as he had the first time. The boy knew he would need a different tactic to close the distance, but with the open terrain as it was there did not seem to be very many options for the boy to choose from.

It was then that the idea formed in the boy's mind, it was a long shot but if it worked it would be just what the boy needed. Forming the bird hand seal the boy focused chakra into his throat before concentrating on the area behind the man, as the boy began to speak his voice would not come from himself but rather the spot on which he was concentrating. "Hey there Anbu," was all the boy would say, but it seemed as that was all he would need. The moment the boy's voice sounded behind the man, the man turned his head to look for the source of the voice behind him. In that small few seconds that the man turned his head the boy struck, the boy began running towards the man before using a burst of chakra to propel himself a few meters closer and striking the man hard in the face with his fist. The boy released a burst of chakra from his hand as his fist met with the mask of the man, sending the man plummeting backwards spinning before landing himself face down in the sand. Like the man had done to him before, the boy would not give the man a chance to recover before he continued his assault on the man. Forming a string of three hand seals as fast as his hands could move the boy created seven images of himself around where the man was, by the time the man recovered he was surrounded by these fake images with the boy hidden among them. The Anbu struck out at one of the clones and almost fell through it, the boy moved to strike the man, causing all of the clone to perform the same action. The man did not know where the attack was coming from until it was too late and the boy struck him with his fist, the man tried to strike the image that had just landed the strike but before the man was able to the boy was already within a different clone causing the man's strike to go through the clone leaving the young anbu unharmed. The boy continued this strategy for several minutes taking pleasure in making his target squirm as he toyed with the man, before he decided enough was enough and it was time to finish the man. Channelling chakra into his right hand the boy and through appearance his clones as well began creating a Rasengan in their right hand. Just as the boy's rasengan was ready to end the man standing in front of him, the man was suddenly knocked down by a fast moving puppet. The boy heard a voice that he did not recognize telling him to finish the man, but could only assume that it was the person that was sent to help him with this task.

Anger grew inside the boy at the interlopers interference, he had the situation well in hand before the idiot interfered and ruined his concentration. The boy looked at the man on the ground, knocked down by the interlopers puppet, the man was not dead yet but he was unconscious meaning he was not a direct threat. The boy's rasengan still in the boy's right hand he scanned the rest of the area and realized that the job was done, the messenger and the three Anbu incapacitated the only ones still standing was the boy and the other two that had been sent to help him. Dropping his hand to his side so that it was hidden beneath his cloak the boy approached the remains of the messenger, his Rasengan still waiting to taste the flesh of an enemy hidden beneath his cloak. The boy reached out with his left hand taking the note that was within the pocket of the messenger sticking it in his own pocket before retrieving his Kaminari Steel Windmill Shuriken that was sticking out of the sand a few feet from where the messenger had met his end. Pulling his shuriken from the sand he looked to the man that had interrupted his bout with the Anbu, making it seem as if he was stowing the windmill shuriken the boy in less than a blink shot the Kaminari Steel Windmill Shuriken at the man who interfered as he spoke to the man next to him. He did not care if the windmill shuriken hit its mark or not, like he had used it before it was nothing more than a distraction. Using a burst of chakra the boy propelled himself towards the man that had interfered with his fight, closing the distance in a matter of seconds.

As soon as the boy reached the man he would remove his right hand from beneath his cloak, revealing his Rasengan still held within it. Thrusting his hand into the man's chest, beneath the mask the boy's eye's were on fire with anger. "No one asked for you to interfere," the boy said his voice distorted by his mask as his rasengan drilled into the man's chest before exploding sending the man to the ground with a hole in his chest.

Maikeru’s eyes widened when Chikara fell to the ground, blood coming from his mouth. It had appeared that even Chikara himself didn’t know what had happened. When he did, he took something from his pocket and threw it in the air. It exploded into a glorious flame in the night sky. And then they were upon them. Maikeru had to take a stand against them. Chikara had apparently betrayed them. Maikeru wasn’t too upset about it. He was expecting it in fact. He didn’t trust anyone within this mission. Everything was too shady. Chikara looked up at Maikeru and the stranger. “Heh. Well...you both are gonna get it...I was going to kill you both and take your stuff...and then get the reward for this mission...but looks like you get...to…-” His eyes went pale and his puppet went limp. Maikeru looked around them. The men were visibly. Their eyes gave birth to hatred. To pain. To anguish. This man meant something to them. And he was taken away. Maikeru Took a defensive stance. He wasn’t sure how strong they were. He braced himself. He looked left and right. There were a lot of them. So many. One of them made the first move, charging with all his rage. He was...sloppy....unbalanced...he was holding a sword that he clearly didn’t know how to use properly. And when he swung it, Maikeru easily sidestepped it, he grabbed his arm, and bent it behind him, breaking his shoulder. Maikeru realized that this band of Shinobi were weak. Almost worthless. Their skill were so bad that Maikeru wanted to gag. Chikara was their only saving grace apparently. They all charged at once, but Maikeru was ready. He charged up his fist with Bakuton, and shoved it to the ground, creating an explosion that was aimed forward, blasting some of them away. One came from behind him, and swung a bo staff. Maikeru grabbed it from behind him and pupped it away, and shoved it into his stomach. Transitioning into another one’s stomach. Maikeru swung it three sixty and smashed a number of them to the ground. It was pathetic. They were so weak. But Maikeru couldn’t help himself. The violence he had committed was feeling far too cathartic for him to stop. He had been through so much. He told himself that he needed this. More than anything right now. He needed it. Maikeru charged his fist with raiton, and punched it into someone, giving them the detonator. Using the half tiger seal, the explosion went off, and killed the surrounding the members.

And then more of them came. He wasn’t sure what that other boy was doing, but Maikeru was going to be doing this. It was such a strange transition from the activity. At one point he was killing a VIP and at another he was slaughtering low ranking ninja boy the dozen. For the time being Maikeru just let himself go.

As the man fell towards the ground the young Anbu could see his comrades eye's widen, this male had done nothing to offend the boy as his comrade had done but the look of shock on the man's face stayed with the boy as he turned to finish the job with the Anbu that the dead man had interfered with. He had only made it a few steps away from where the man had fallen when the explosion went off, the night sky was lit up as if it was dawn and suddenly the boy could feel the presences of movement around him. Countless disruptions within the wind around him coming in full force, it would seem that his operation was betrayed, looking back upon the pair he had just turned his back on and seeing the look of shock still on the still living male's face revealed that he was not in on the betrayal. This meant that they had both been betrayed by the very man the boy had just killed, it made the boy regret killing the man so quickly. It would have been prudent to have integrated this man considering the number of men now coming to his aid, it was clear that this man had influence among them and possibly even in orchestrating them. Myrddin gripped the note that was within his pocket, if this was what they were after then they would all die as it was the one scrap of proof he had for finding the spy. The boy's eye's fell onto that of the Anbu that had been knocked unconscious, he still was not moving most would presume him to be dead. If the man survived this he could present a problem for his future investigation, the boy knew he would need to ensure the man's death but before he could deal with him he had to take care of the riff raff that was now surrounding him.

The boy could feel them before he could see them, but it did not matter with the numbers they had if they had any strength between them it was likely that they would overwhelm him and the other man unless he had fled. Myrddin did not bother to look to see, it did not matter as the boy did not care. Once the men were in his eye sight he could see the look of hatred on their faces, a number of them charged in towards him however the young anbu was already prepared for them. Before the men could reach him, the boy already had a counter prepared and once they were within his ranged he executed his strike. It would happen within a blink of an eye, a sudden burst of wind chakra would be released. This powerful gust of wind with small glints of silver swarmed around the boy as if it were a tornado, forming a dome around the young Anbu and knocking back all those that had tried to get close to the boy. Before his dome expired the boy put into action his next step charging chakra into his hand forming a small sphere of glowing chakra, once his dome twister subsided he launched the sphere into the sky. The sphere would no doubt draw the attention of those around the young shinobi, but it mattered not whether they were looking directly at it or not. Once the sphere activated the flash of light would blind anyone within ten meters of the boy that had their eyes open, of course the technique came with the downside that if anyone was within the vicinity would be alerted to something being amiss and would no doubt cause them to investigate the scene. The boy was drawing unneeded attention that could possibly hinder his completion of his task, but it was a risk that he would have to take. The boy's only option was to make it out of there before more trouble appeared, channeling chakra into his feet and hands the boy began to unleash the full fury of his fighting style. Punch after punch the boy unleashed his strikes from a distance, using the wind to carry his attacks to strike from different angles as he began working his way through the crowd of weaklings. The strikes themselves were not that important but rather the effect of the strike, once hit the strike would cause a ripple effect that surrounded the body of his target before connecting on the other side of the man and causing a blast of chakra to propel them five meters in different directions. As the blast of chakra began going off and propelling those that the boy had struck, causing them to crash into those around him a path soon opened up allowing the boy to move to the down anbu unhindered.

Thanks to the flash of light caused by the chakra orb there was not much resistance from the crowd, along with the fact that the boy had caused a majority of them to crash into each other knocking them down. Now that they could not see they were beginning to fight amongst themselves not knowing who it was that they were striking or who was striking them, they are a bunch of idiots, the boy thought to himself as he pulled out a Kunai and drove it into the Anbu's neck right at the jugular. The man would be dead before any help could arrive for him, and so there would be nothing that could lead an investigation back to him and his connection to Kumogakure. Most likely than not these fools would be put to the blame as to what has happened here, now all the boy needed to do was get out of here before anyone showed up that could witness his involvement. Even with his owl mask on it would not take long for them to be able to track him down if he was not careful. Inhaling deeply the boy released a powerful breath of wind that tore through the crowd not stopping until it reached the distance of thirty meters, all those that were caught within it would be ripped to shreds, while those that were near it would suffer the most severe lacerations of their lives. It was not until after he had released this breath that the boy realized that he was facing the direction that the man he had let live earlier had been, the young anbu would shrug his shoulders it did not matter to him if the man was alive or dead. If the boy's attack did not kill the man then he was sure that these low lives would more or likely succeed, or even those that come to investigate the flash of light.

It was now time for the young Anbu to take his leave, he had all that he needed and now he just need to get to where he could think. Flowing chakra into his feet the boy took off running after his sphere that was tearing through those in it's path, as he ran the boy slowly began lifting off the ground until the point that he was not touching the sand and would leave no tracks to follow. Then just as quickly as he had rose above the sand the young Anbu disappeared into the night leaving nothing but a swirl of silver wind in his wake where he hand been only moments before.

~~Weeks Later~~

It had been a few week since then. Maikeru didn’t know what had happened to the boy. At this time he didn’t know what had happened to the boy that a week ago. He had found out that the man who had sent him wasn't the same man who had sent the other boy. Within that time, Maikeru had become Maikumaru. Or better said, he was always Maikumaru, and was unwitting of that fact. Now that he had become just a bit stronger, it was time for him to deal with him. Maikumaru didn't take kindly to betrayal. Before he had decided to let it go. No one had attacked him for it. Which was strange. But now he thought it was a good idea to get some Payback. Maik always pays his debts.

Maikeru had spent approximately five days looking for answers on who he was. He got a tip from someone who knew of an organization that had slithered its way into Suna to gain some jobs. It wasn't clear on exactly what they did, but their location had been revealed by scouts he had sent. The organization was small. Very small. It was assumed that the danger behind them. And when Maikumaru told the ISC of what happened they had immediately jumped on Maikumaru’s defense. They gave him a small battalion of Shinobi they were strong enough to handle an enemy such as this. Maik stood over the dunes. He peered over to the Camp that contained them. He didn't even remember the name of the organization. He only knew that they had wronged him. Maikumaru has a new sense of pride now. A Shinobi walked up from behind him and asked “so what are your orders?” Maik didn't show it, but he felt giddy inside. It was good 5o feel powerful. He cracked his neck from left to right. “It's pretty simple.” He slowly raised his hand, and slowly pointed out his index finger. “Attack.”

The Shinobi sped toward the camp unleashing a surprise attack. Maikumaru soon followed behind them. But then he jumped in front, landing his large frame on an unsuspecting member of the camp. The other Shinobi came following after him, and so began the slaughter. Maikumaru had pushed for a new policy in the ISC. He had enough influence in it to do so. The policy of taking no prisoner. And if prisoners were to be taken, they certainly wouldn't be kept for long. There were three members of the camp left. He ordered everyone to stand down. Walking over to one of them, Kunai in his hand, he grabbed him by the throat, and lifted him in the air. “I'm only going to ask once. Where is the man with the bag over his head?”
“I won't say a damned th-” his words were cut short, as his throat was cut shorter, having the pleasure of being acquainted with Maik's Kunai. He walked over to the next one, on his knees and hands tied behind his back. Whether or not he was going to talk, the vivid and obvious fear in his eyes were certainly a good indicator that he planned to, Maik was going to kill him before he spoke
“Where is the man with the bag over his head?”

“I...uh I…!”

“So you don't talk either. I understand.”

“Wait no please!” Maikumaru hugged his head, and twisted it, perfectly snapping it. The last one was a kunoichi. Her eyes were wide. “Where-”

“He's at a camp! In the west! There are a lot more ninja there! Five miles away from here. Please don't kill me….please.” Maikumaru couldn't respect her cowardice. Though he did respect her will to live. The will to betray allies. “Good. Now get this trash out of my face. And make sure you tell people what happened to you.”

“Shouldn't we keep her? She could be lying.”

“Good point. Bring her along.”

After the long five mile walk, Maik saw the second camp. There was no one in there. A complete ghost town. Except for one. Right in the middle of the camp was the man with he bag. Looking directly into Maik's eyes. Maik peered back. One of the Shinobi was eager and began to charge. However Maikeru placed his hand in front of them signaling him to stand down. Maik began to walk forward, and his battalion following behind him. Maikumaru stopped in front of him, mere meters away. “I take it that you knew I was coming for you.”

“Yes I did. And I take it that the mission I sent you own is the reason for your vendetta against me.”

“Yes. If it wasn't obvious.”

“I suppose you want answers to my reasoning.”

“Spare me. I don't care for your reasoning. The only this g I care for is your death.”

“There are things beyond us, Maikeru. Far more powerful than the things.”

“My name is Maikumaru now. And I don't care for your ramblings. Accept your death.” The man looked at Maikumaru and then behind him to see the battalion. “What is your take on honor?” Maik tilted his head. “I know where this is going. But go on.”

“Honor Duel to the death. If I win, your allies have to leave and stay away from my organization. If you win you get the pleasure of killing me and I'm that tent is the location of all my camps. The organization will die with me.”

“Fine. You have a deal.”

The man suddenly jumped back, and threw off his cloak. He revealed his very bony body, every inch of it was covered by a long bandage. “Let us get to it then.” In his hand was a long and sharp Katana. Maik cracked his neck and readied his stance. His arms grew solid as rocks covered it. The man ran towards him and swung his blade with much elegance and grace, as if he was in a dance. This was very strange for him. He didn't have too much experience with fighting someone with this amount of skill put into dexterity and fluidity rather brute radical force. Maikumaru could only track his movements only so much. He couldn't find an offense.

Maik became more and more frustrated. He started getting angrier. Until he found an opening. He grabbed his sword with his left hand and yielded back his right
Be began to punch him in the face repeatedly, and then kneed him in the stomach. Maikeru gave consecutive punches to his face. And finally, Maik's body began to spark with an immense amount of lighting. He ran forward with as much speed as possible
He grabbed the masked man, and squeezed his Boyd shocking him and unleashing pain on his arms and ribs. Maikumaru heard the sickening sound of his bonds cracking within his ribs and arms. The sound of electricity filled the area and the blue light shimmered across the camp.

Maikeru dropped him to the ground. He threw the bag off the man's face to see an absolute monster. His skin was burnt and tested. It definitely wasn't caused by Maikumaru, so it was snow doubt a symptom of something else. He spoke from his lipless mouth.

“It may seem you have-”

Maik picked up the katana and stabbed it in his heart. He didn't need to hear anymore of his rambling. After leaving the body, he made his way over to the tent. He took the scroll from it, and read through it. He smiled and then walked away, satisfied.
