Mission Details: Iwagakure medical ninja (PC or with a Medical NPC) have been dispatched to warzones to provide aid for injured and extract wounded soldiers. The primary objective of this mission is to secure the wounded, but en route back to Iwa border camps with injured victims, shinobi will have to deal with numerous A-ranked non-ninja combatants, though they are armed with S-rank weapons and possess a multitude of (15+) explosive tags. Protecting the wounded soldiers is essential, and death of them means failure.

Verdandi was slightly excited at todays mission. Despite it being a diplomatic one, it was for one of her more favourite villages. Having a personal positive impression of Iwa's current kage and his ways, she didn't mind to work for their administration. Unlike for Kumo… that weird village and their mad kage. But work is work and today would be a fun one. Aside from the fact that she was working for Iwa, she was also tasked with a humanitarian mission. An honest one. As Iwa certainly cared for their own men and sincerely just wished for their retrieval.

Verdandi was waiting at the front gate of the Iwagakure army camp. The multitude of Iwa soldiers passing by. Saluting to Verd despite her Kirigakure crest. Having heard of her previous work for Iwa during the primary invasion phase. Creating a reputation that shed a positive light on her persona seemed indeed useful. She was warmly welcomed among the troops gathering. A good thirty people were ready to head out. Yet most of them were not battle ready. The medics were surely proficient in their task and would do great in bringing emergency care to the wounded.

Verdandi understood that a first squad had already been dispatched and was working on bringing the primary care ahead, hence this second group was specifically made to take their time in preparing their resources. Verd could see how a multitude of medical equipment and transportation helped were currently being sealed into simple item scrolls. The field medics were working on organizing their emergency care kits and restocked on their extra tools to have more than enough on them. Using the rich handout of the administrations supply office to their advantage while possible. Verd helped a few of the smart nerds from Iwa do their improvised job on creating a makeshift transport Vehicle. Cutting wooden parts together they worked at inhuman speed to specifically craft a carrying device that could be mounted and dragged by Avalanche.

Adding a supportive and important role to the polar bear was a neat idea. Time passed quickly. The medics had prepared themselves well. A dozen simple guards added themselves to the team as well. By the time all of them were ready, the wooden transport device had been engineered so well they even craved a cute bear face into the side with some fire techniques, just for fun. However, Avalanche wasn't required to pilot this large transport vessel just yet. Being empty for now, they too sealed it in one of Verdandi's own item scrolls. Allowing her to neatly plant it in her battle-kimono's sleeve.

Verdandi checked her own weapon inventory one more time and then screamed the command to move out. The snow princess had been specifically hired as a tactical officer for this mission. However, she had been informed to not be the only ninja assigned to this. Whilst organizing the troops had certainly been put in her capable hands, the administration office made no secret about the fact that this mission specifically needed 'more muscle power'. Leaving the princess to pout a bit at this sort of… slight insult to Verdandi's potential capabilities. But her pride could swallow it. Not like she wasn't aware to not have reached the top of the shinobi food chain just yet. The speed at which she was growing however kept her in high spirits towards, someday, reaching the moment where she herself would be the one sent as 'more muscle power' and for now, simply enjoy the fact that she had the chance to meet many new and interesting individuals and learn from them as she did from the multitude of mentors that had trained the princess into the weapon she already had become.

Aunt Ayakashi teased Verdandi when she asked for whom she got assigned with. She usually only did that when she knew that the situation was greatly amusing her. The last few times she did that, Verd had been paired with pretty much very insane partners to her missions that either, almost blew her up or had nasty jutsu in their repertoire of techniques. For some reason she wasn't sure that Aya had the same type of joy in mind this time as well. But Verdandi would keep herself prepared for anything. The person in question was to catch up with Verdandi's Medical Squad nearby the battlefield.

Verdandi soon arrived at the outskirts of the frontlines. The battle had long since been over. But the devastation led upon these lands was… a cruel sight to behold of. The amount of death that was lingering on the valley before her made the young woman hold her breath. The sight of broken bodies, torn bones and spiked soldiers… She wasn't the dramatic type. But the amount of suffering before her eyes. It would bring tears down her cheeks. Slowly turning to frozen, glassy shards within the air around her. Until dissolving into crystal dust to join the ashes of the dead before her.

The smell of chaos and bloodshed filled the air as the battlefield indeed looked interesting the bodies of shinobi’s and innocent when the Mizukage told him he would be forced to be helping out in an attempt to clear his name. He was assigned a partner to this mission something that he hadn’t experience in over a couple years he sported a black skin tight suit that covered him from his ankles to half of his face only revealing his dark blue eyes to the world his brown skin tone shined underneath the sun. The mission was a simple task just to escort, help, and save lives well the ones that weren’t already splattered all over the earth floor it was a simple indeed he only hoped the partner wouldn’t be weak or tend to try to stop him and his methods. A gush of air pushed on his back causing his hair to dance through the breeze the dark blue color matching that of his eyes it seemed fit. He was perched up on a hilltop gazing down on the moving unit but his attention was fixed only on one individual one who caught his attention in fact all of his attention. His eyes picked her off studying her from her stance to her voice as she verbally shouted a command allowing those beneath her to hear her mighty roar and in mere seconds they were on the move. Watching them closely it seemed she was respected among the soldiers that itself was impressive indeed so before presenting himself he decided it be best if he did things his way and respect the needs of the commander herself.

Quickly vanishing off the hill leaping down the hill side by side stepping on the backs of those who fought a good battle or maybe the backs of those who ran from the fight. Maybe it didn’t matter they all ended up in the dirt as the group itself began to move up to the next area he took his time following them looking around at those picking up the remains of the bodies throwing them on to one another. It seemed the casualties were spread everywhere across but that was the life of being a shinobi death itself can come at anytime no matter who maybe the shinobi and no matter the reputation that person carries. Everyone has a target on their back from one or many landing on the flat earth gazing at the footprints of the tiny army that was led just a few moments ago. He only took his time as the man began to disperse out going through the area gazing for any signs of someone even living on a tarnish battlefield as this one looking at it and the massive damage left behind. This must have been the frontline of it all his attention was fixed on the girl once more as he watched her trying to uncover more but with the group of men crossing his vision he was only able to see particles of what seem like crystals flow into the air.

“Lord Mizukage.. Please don’t tell me you paired me up with one of our own..”

Slightly annoyed but it seemed best if he kept his true abilities hidden referring to his other natures of jutsu seemed to be a better idea especially when it came to avoiding questions of who he actually was and why hasn't he been spotted in the village. There was to many questions for him to answer his insignia of the village was nowhere to be found by the untrained eye he kept it hidden until it felt like he could be looked upon by his fellow shinobi without hate or distrust. Walking behind the young female gazing around without making a sound or even a peep looking around at the destruction left in its wake what he would give to taste such actions along side shinobi he could trust. This one right in front of him could prove but that was to be seen later on if he was indeed attempting to get in his way or maybe even captured and sent back to where it all began but this time around it would feature him behind bars.

“Battles do the most to the economy and human life.. Don’t you agree?”

Verdandi made sure to get a grip of herself. There was no reason to be a whiny little girl while so many would now depend on her. She inhaled once deeply and formed a single hand seal to split two shadows from her own body. The trinity of Verdandi gazed at each other and nodded, then the two additions would disperse into the battlefield. While Verd remained in her elevated position to keep a glare of control the clones went to east and west end of the battlefield. They quickly formed a line of soldiers on either side. Enforcing two specific orders. No wounded left to rot. The soldiers were tasked to mark potential living suspects and call for one of the medics available. A soldier would remain behind to try and support the wounded while the line might become thinner but care would be immediately on contact. The soldier would be tasked to move the wounded, if movable, to the central part where they could either be given further care or moved to the medical tents behind the hill. Avalanche would run around between central and medic tents to serve as transportation for lightly wounded. Moving slowly as to make sure they would be fine while riding the almost 2 meters tall creature but keeping them save was more important than to stress for performance. The second order was. No prisoners. Enemies would be staked by the soldier's lances to ensure they wouldn't get up anymore. They already laid waste to so many village-nin. They wouldn't be allowed to do further harm.

As the lines progressed from both sides and the clones helped as well. Verdandi would give her dedicated personal helper's specific commands if her one good eye was to spot a moving person amidst the masses to give potential high survival rates a bigger chance to be spotted early and being taken care of. The progress was quick and to Verdandi's delight, the numbers of potential survivors was large. Dozens of men would be rescued. But she could also see how medics sometimes could only provide lethally wounded soldiers with a more painless death. Severed limbs especially were something that often lead to infections that had advanced too far too quickly. Even the emergency medics that had already been here hours ago couldn't really do much. Still she would also be witness to little miracles. Such as the re-attachment of a hand that could be surgically nerve-healed in the medical tents later even. Due to the almost complete blindness of her right eye, Verdandi's remaining oculus was specifically sharp and could spot even tiny movements among the sea of dead from afar. Her precision with this kind of work made once again clear that the proficiency of shinobi still surpassed that of mere soldiers by far. Her skill and control over the situation as tactical officer clearly gave the men at work motivation to work as hard and fast as possible. Potentially surpassing their own limits not rarely and go through length to save the lives of their brethren.

The disturbance in the air that her kin's appearance created didn't go unnoticed to her either. However, she could neither sense him well nor really deduct his Hyouton affinity just yet. For Verdandi he was just another high ranked weapon of warfare. That being thought in all respect for them as they existed. She however didn't flinch or move as he stepped in from behind her. Keeping her gaze fixed at the battlefield as he spoke until she spotted another one moving. Lifting her arm to point in his direction as to make sure one of the runners would go ahead and check on the soldier in question. Verdandi was however far from intending to be rude at all, she turned at last and bowed politely as it was befitting for a princess. His looks certainly of interest, giving away a capable and refined persona. She indeed searched for a village insignia as she had been paired with various partners from all villages. However, she did not bother or press the matter as she would notice a lack of any insignia to begin with. Especially ANBU often had no recognizable symbols to them and hence it would not be an extremely unusual sight to her.

"Battles undo mostly. Rather than add up to something. However, we were born for battle. Is it irony to hate what war can become and leave behind, whilst having to accept that the rush of a battle is one of the most fulfilling emotions to a warrior?"

Potentially sounding a tad dramatic there, Verd didn't necessarily intend to sound condescending or arrogant. She was far from feeling above any of this. It was a rather loud thought of self-criticism. Reminding herself, while she would judge and deny any of this before her here, she could have just as well been one of those that was to reap through the masses and leave behind misery and bloodshed just because she deducted that her cause was just. Many times, did her mentor tell her that a self-aware weapon of mass destruction would eventually lead the most miserable life in existence. To be born to undo and not create and yet it was a choice she had made her peace with many years ago.

"Please excuse my rudeness, my concentration was focused on finding but a needle in a haystack of death. My name is Verdandi Yuki. I have been appointed to this mission as tactical engineer to the relief forces. I assume you are here for our protection. I am very grateful and will place our safety in your capable hands… uhm how may I call you?"

Where did the Mizukage find someone unique to be on the line of duty especially someone who says the reason for the man being here is to protect her and the mission. In reality he would let her get attacked or even hunted down to the ground looking at her as she began to talk but also apologized for sounding rude. It was in mere seconds did he realize that either she cared about what he thought of her or was she simple self aware of how she sounded during the matter war only brought pain and revenge. Nothing more nothing less no matter which sides wins the people who fought in the war came back in a casket or missing several limbs war is nothing but a burden killing due to the fact the leaders of each others village had a simple argument. She had a voice and it annoyed him that she would apologize for voicing her thought everyone was entitled to one no matter the age or the gender gazing outwards towards everyone else working on saving as many lives as they could humanly do. People died everyday and these days the battles didn’t need to be wars just a tiny conflict with your local resident could start a life or death situation. Glancing back at the female and her handy work it seemed best if he kept his distance allowing his true identity to be kept hidden well for sometime till the need comes and he must do what he was hired to do.

“Stop apologizing we’re shinobi our occupation is to kill or be killed no questions asked. War is just another game others like to create to destroy their boredom. You have a voice please don’t apologize if you’re speaking your mind I respect your opinion.”

Placing his hands in his pockets as he stood next to the young women now and watched closely at everyone it had seem he ignored the question he was asked earlier in reality he was processing if it was worth sharing with her. Same clan, and the same bloodline his killing intent was high but due to his recent return from the lack of combat and bloodshed he didn’t have the instant killing method as before. If need be he would kill but as for now it didn’t concern him how many would stand in front of him once the line was crossed there would be no going back for him. As for now he could only worry about this shinobi and her man it would be alright if at least a couple of them got injured from a small battle but as long as he lived no one should even experience the sight of death. Maybe that is why the Mizukage herself asked him to join such a mission for the fact of knowing no one would die under his watch it was a clever play indeed no one would even be targeted with these two on the battlefield.

Scratching behind his head it seemed it was time for him to answer the question he was asked earlier he didn’t know how to properly respond if this woman was going to be ticked off from actually knowing who he was or would she simply wait till his guard was done. Only one person knew of his return and the Mizukage didn’t seem like the type to hold back any secrets or surprises for anyone else. The way his already out here doing missions it wouldn’t be a surprise when he returned if he was confronted by people with a barrage of questions on why he left and loads more. Glancing up in the sky as he slid his hands in his pockets he could only think of something to say the truth was always gonna be his response to her answer taking a deep breath it probably didn’t really matter at this point. Years have passed and most likely she has no clue to who he was just another shinobi who did what he had to do to survive and grow just like any other shinobi who lived before him and after him.

“My name is Burittsu Yuki. Call me what you want I can care less as long we both make it out alive in this mission. The Mizukage didn’t tell me I’d be paired up with another one our kind I was expecting a monster or some weak coward that I had to come around help out. Well either way it’s nice to meet you. Don’t get caught up in only rescuing these souls that’s all I have say to in all honesty let’s wrap this up and head back home. Taking care of the weak is not something im always fond of these days especially after hearing about every tragic event that has come to unfold these past couple years.”

Verdandi had met what felt like a hundred Yuki Clansmen in her time. As a major Clan in Kirigakure, as former refugees of the destroyed lands of snow. Or simply as bound brethren of the bloody mist. Their numbers were everywhere in Kiri nowadays. The rebuilding of Heidel, at the outskirts of Yuki no Kuni was of seemingly no concern to most of them. Their connection to their ancestors and origin was of no interest to them either. Little did they know who Verdandi was and what her birth right had given her. The symbol she was supposed to be for her people. The sign of rebuilding what once was lost. The beacon of hope. Maybe. But these things would all mean little to this man. His attitude was cold, ruthless, annoyed and generally displeasing. Verd wouldn't bother too much. It was in her blood and in her persona to always imply a primary layer of respect and tradition befitting the royal family. She however preferred to leave tedious and unnecessary conversation parts aside too. But not cause Burittsu of the Yuki Clan asked her to. Simply because it was her personality anyway. He had judged her a bit quickly it seemed. But that was fine. Verdandi wasn't here to cuddle with uncle Buri and listen to his bed time stories about how much humanity sucks in his opinion. She would simply nod to him and acknowledge his statement. Not starting to argue anyhow as it seemed to serve no positive advancement.

Time had passed and the battlefield was almost searched for. A multitude of survivors were being cared for at the medical camps. Buri and Verd could watch upon the fields and how village soldiers would raise their spears and bury them into the guts of barely surviving enemies, putting an end to their misery. A good hour would pass with Buri motioning around most likely. Verd's clones doing most of the work of coordinating the soldiers. In the end, once all village-nin survivors had been rescued. The bodies of the dead had been pulled together, piled up. Dead enemies and own soldiers alike. The only difference was that they removed the 'dog tags' of their own in order to later identify whom had fallen in battle. While leaving those tags on the corpses of the enemies, so they will vanish and be forgotten forever. A multitude of corpse piles would soon be lit, the fire would start to consume them. They were not allowed to spread plague and famine upon these lands. Not if the villages intended to rule them in near future. Verd still doubted that they would have success and making a whole nation bend to them. But it was not of her concern. As Buri mentioned. That was part of the game the big players were working out for themselves and not for the mere single soldier to decide. Verd didn't really care at this point either. She had rescued a multitude of allied troops and hence completed the primary objective of her mission.

The clones would move back to Verdandi and stay near her. The lot of them moving down to the medical encampment below. The tents filled with injured, but most of them had been treated already. The whole system Verd had set up was efficient and worked out well. They injured would be split into different groups. Depending on how well they could walk. Some just needed a helping hand from a soldier. Others had only upper body injuries. Verdandi pulled her sealing scroll forth and placed her hand on it. Unsealing the large transport device, the nerds had created for Avalanche. She motioned some of the soldiers to fix the large bear up with the fitting leather straps on his body and then mounting the primary wooden pull bars on his hips. The carriage had multiple wheels to give a steadier feeling during transport. As well as allowing one or two to fail without the device becoming useless. The medics and soldiers quickly moved the ones injured on their legs into the main compartment of the cart and then moved the, still laying down in their medical beds, seriously injured ones last. They most likely wouldn't make the journey back home, at least not unless a medic each would keep a steady eye on them. Seeing as the carriage still had space, a few medics also moved into the main carriage part to be supportive over the injured people there.

The tents were broken down. The camp was removed. The caravan would start moving. Everything was set up, Verdandi and Burittsu keeping an eye on the surrounding area. For a few hours there was nothing to worry about. But Buri didn't seem to be quite the chatty type so Verd would mostly remain silent around him. Little did they know that the forces tailing them were already incoming. A-Ranked guerrilla terrorists. A little parting gift from the losing side of the battlefield. They were tasked to move in, blow up the caravan and kill any last survivor of this while convoy and ultimately proof that any battle won against suna, would also result in some sort of loss in hindsight. Their motions were refined and stealthy. Too good to be picked up by Verdandi's senses. Maybe Bruittsu would have the refined skills to sense them. Maybe he could provide protection where everyone else would fail.

Maybe it was to much the way he talked to her but the time to talk to apologize or explain would be later much later as the time passed he remained to himself watching over everyone as if they were his own. Rubbing his chin as he gazed around the area it was simple nothing in sight not even the slightest movement it was indeed quiet but the world itself wasn’t built without action Burittsu himself knew this was not going to be easy no matter who would be doing the mission. Looking around checking out every possible situation to befall the two shinobi he came to a conclusion to simply give it a full ten minutes during this time he would entertain himself by looking lost and actually helping out with the bodies of the fallen. Aiding out the injured he began to tend and also care for the injured unlike he did earlier by simply watching now he was actually aiding even if he didn’t have a gentle hand. Time did pass on quickly in fact as he knew somewhere out there the fight would happen and the enemies were planning on how to go about it. Simply being on the battlefield enough would draw attention to those who oppose them but these characters took their time planning out something to actually kill and drive away the help they just didn’t realize the enemy were trained killers as well.

Cleaning his hands quietly as he returned back out into the open a bit away from the camp Burittsu raised one hand quickly raising his index and middle finger up taking a deep breath in before exhaling. In mere seconds everything seemed to slow down around him as he waited in silence the sounds of rustling bushes and slight breeze on his back made their cover unique but if they were there he would soon find out in a mere second. Quickly releasing chakra around his body pushing it out to be about exactly one hundred meters he was able to see it all the bodies of countless enemies slowly making their move on the camp a total of six three for each of them that was cute it really was but he did hunt down bandits most of his life. He didn’t have to rely on a fight to win due to the fact all humans were the same at the end of the day only one may live and the other dies. He saw it all as gave out a whistle a long nice pitch whistle loud enough for his enemies to hear and his allies the game was simple either they do kill him or like always the battle ends with enemies screaming and dying in pain.

“Cmon out look at it from my point of view you all can die together.. Just like the animals you all are or I simply walk in there and kill you all on the spot..”

This was the only skill he needed in all honesty even if they consisted of weapons one jutsu would kill them all it only depended on they wished their death would occur the six man didn’t have a choice but to either wait for their death. Simply Burittsu had enough time on his hands to play games with all of them but as the men decided to make their choice he only began to wonder if they could actually take on a shinobi someone who learned the art of stealth but also moves that can cause extreme chaos and destruction. He chuckled a little underneath his breath as if the madness would take over his mind and body the man clearly had plans for these people. In mere time his words would set in volume as the intruders began to peer through the shadows all six of them armed to teeth. This only meant that they were willing to die on the battlefield like noble and honorable warriors their deaths on the other hand would not be kind. Well it would be boring if he had all the fun placing his hand up in the air it didn’t seem like he had much choice but to whistle again this time hoping the female ice user herself would want to partake in the fun. Easy kills these guy are to the eyes of a shinobi like Burittsu but in fact he wanted to see what she could really do as a shinobi instead of a medical and commander she was a interesting person.

“Don’t be quick to rush death. You guys came here to put a end to things and these wounded warriors but have you ever thought about what would the outcome be if they picked up allies on the way? Probably not.. Six on two sounds fun.”

D-rank
Verdandi watched the convoy move on. Despite the fact that she was lacking the ability for sensor techniques just yet, being still an 'initiate' in the ranks of ANBU, learning what it takes to become part of these special forces first, she was still able to pick up the scent of living enemy flesh when it wasn't skilled enough to conceal itself. Non-shinobi. Mere soldiers. Mercenaries. Scum. A few of them probably sunaan forces. But the majority didn't give the stench of sand away. Verdandi's eye lurked into the horizon. Burittsu had long since done the same. But the sensory skills were his to tap into. With a simple breath of his chakra he'd see them. Feel them. Sense them. His choice of action was interesting however. Verdandi wasn't sure why he taunted them. If it was up to her. She would probably use her advantage of intel to send one of her clones in. Which she actually did. Both of them lurking into the shadows of the sand dunes. Searching for the men whose stench she had picked up. But the way Buri had basically invited them. The moment of surprise was gone. The stealth attack on them would be difficult. She wondered. But as the first mercenary surfaced. Showing himself. Covered in heavy armor. A large axe in his hand. A nasty helmet with animal horns adorning his headgear. A Berserker by all means. A killer. A merciless monster you could say. On the battlefield he would be feared. Slaying many soldiers.

But between men and shinobi. There was a distinctive difference. Not rarely the ones with the ability to tap into their deep, natural energy. Their chakra. They would be seen as magicians. Wizards. Inhumans. The origins of chakra were formed aeons ago and the very mother of this power, had been slain by the humans that she oh so despised for stealing her fruit. Her energy. For becoming parasites of the all living chakra of her tree of life. A strange tale to come from. Certainly, one that could easily be mistaken as one of witches and wizards. Verdandi could understand this feeling. Her adrenaline rush was creeping up her neck. Her desire to undo and destruct. It was in her veins. Buri was more similar to her than she would have wanted to admit. Despite the purity of the sweet princess she wanted to be. Of the royal heritage. The good manners and the gentle soul. There was frost inside her too. A chakra nature that didn't exist to create. Ice was born to undo anything it covers. To suffocate the life beneath. To cool things below freezing until it gave up and accepted its fate. Being either destroyed or put into eternal stasis. At best it could turn things to glass. Stop time. Catch a moment. Give a view of the past into the present. But again. By all means. Ice was never meant to heal or create. It existed for the purpose to cleanse.

It was in the nature of snow, to extinguish what it would bury. So, everything would die and turn to ash. So that from these ashes, a new cycle, a new generation could arise. To refresh the gene pool and make this world… a better place maybe? Verdandi too, had this in her veins and it didn't go without saying, that feeling the dirt walk upon these lands around her, she immediately had the instinctive desire to utterly and ultimately destroy and cleanse its filth from this plane. Her breath was getting harder. Her eyes glowing more and more. Her steps moving away from the caravan. Towards the man in question. The berserker. He who wanted to challenge Burittsu for calling him out. Would run towards Verdandi. A little pest in his eyes. But it would go. Without saying. That he would personally feel what it meant to be cleansed by the destructive nature of frost. Verdandi screamed for a second as the Hyouton chakra exhaled from her skin. It invaded the earth below and the simple sight of her terrifying scream would stop the Berserkers motions in his path. The sand below would rip wide open. The frost would crawl onto the surface as if shaped like a large inhuman palm that specifically grabbed for the tiny, puny worthless human. The frost would crawl up his legs. All the armor. All the shielding. Nothing would mean anything once he would find himself within the prison of Verdandi's crystal.

The chakra would glow. The berserker would scream. His armor first, then his skin would start to melt away under the effects of a major 3rd degree tissue damage. Frost, sometimes was like fire. But the way it melts your skin is far crueller. It just dissolves you until it blubbers way into bubbles. Then it starts to skin you. But Verdandi wouldn't watch him die from being burned alive. She extended her hand forward. A wide-open palm. Holding it towards her dying target until at last, she formed a fist and the ice came down, crushing the berserker from all sides. Exploding his blood from his body as if Verdandi just squeezed a fruit together to get the juicy parts inside. His bones crushed to shattered pieces. What was left behind but a mere, disfigured corpse of a once proud killer and warrior. This is what happens, when a human opposes one of those… witches and this is what Hyouton was born to do. Cleanse the filth.

It was humble indeed to watch the princess come around to killing but it didn’t fit her as he watched the man's body turn away it seemed to cause some panic among the others she seemed to enjoy it more and more. Burittsu thought it would be better if he just simply destroyed the rest with the same sort of method the rest of the five as the rest of them seemed to quickly put their guards up as if the weapons they wielded or the armor they wore would not even give them the slightest protection but it was amusing thinking they were actually going to do something. The way it was looking like with one down and the five others on the ready it seemed death was the only way to solve this problem they all were going to meet the same fate as long as these two kept the tactics to plain murder. The five of these men were now going to meet their end probably a worse fate than the likes of their comrade it seemed fitting he killed them all together. With a grin on his face he only began to think of how it was they all should die looking at each and every single one of them to the very end he could imagine how the killing would start. Either way the death would be cold but brief something more lethal and straight to the point as he began to talk towards the enemies with his hands together he could only smile for a brief moment showing his excitement.

His hands rapidly began to move as it came to a brief stop same as his feet closing the gap making him closer to the enemy in mere seconds creatures of ice began to form a total of five rodents each made of pure ice. Each programed for one thing only to kill any enemy that stood in the way of their master these rodents were small, quick, and agile the perfect killing weapons as they quickly dashed about the area each locking onto a individual enemy. Made sense for Burittsu to bring out this type of jutsu five tiny rodents meant for five large intruders this would be a perfect way to test out if they were up for a true battle against a shinobi both have seen battles but only one may live regardless the fact only one side will walk away with their heads held up high as for the other side dead with their body underneath the earth. These rodents weren’t just any old rats each was rigged to explode once they made their mark this skill itself was intriguing as each rodent quickly began to split up dividing the attention of each of the mercenaries. It was simply to easy even if they were skilled each was now concerned about their own well being as it only happened in a flash each rodent leaping into the air.

Jumping on vital spots of their armor basically the weakest spots that they had to offer each explosion was enough to blow off a limb or basically cause them to die from loss of blood or shock. He only laughed a little bit as it happened in a fierce chain reaction five loud explosions went off one after another destroying the armor they hid under the skin and bones of each man destroyed and crush. Each rodent was the ideal killing blow for any target they all would die either way to due to the loss of blood or they were dead instantly after the explosion he could only hope at least one or two of them lived long enough to bleed out in front of him. Well he wasn’t surprised if they didn’t have the courage or heart to live through such a attack anyone would be greatly injured with any of the rodents that made contact with the target. As the smoke and dust cleared up leaving him to wonder who survived the ground was bathed in blood and broken pieces of armor and weapons the bodies were destroyed holes were left and limbs were clearly blown off the bodies. It was quiet not even a groan or a faint scream from any of them it he began to think if his jutsu was that hard of a skill to pull off but out of the dead a faint groan grasped his attention. It seemed only one lived as the others perished this made him laugh as the injured attempted to stand on his two feet his armor was destroyed with a large hole on his right side. Burittsu watched as the blood began to pour out of the man he was already dead as he could only gaze at Burittsu and the young female herself giving him a thumbs up and a faint smile Burittsu decided that would be his send off to the warrior for making it all the way to the end. Watching the male collapsed against the floor shaking and groaning a little longer as the blood began to pour out of his body it only made sense he was shaking he began to grow cold.

“Have a nice travel..”

Verdandi could see that Burittsu wasn't sure what to think of the princess killing in the way she did. He seemed to be the type that constantly wished to judge someone as if he was above those people. A trait which often irked and upset the people around them. Verdandi however didn't usually judge the people around her by such standards. She kept in defensive position as the remaining five enemies would draw closer. Burittsu had yet to show his worth as a guard and hired muscle within this mission. But he didn't really turn it to be as flashy as Verdandi would have hoped for. While Verd's killing instinct connected with the Hyouton had brought her to exhale her power in a nasty way. Burittsu, in an almost annoyed or bored fashion. Created but a simple horde of frost rodents. Verdandi had seen ice-golem techniques before, as these summoning types were called. But she had yet to learn one of them on her own. The young ninja, whom was famed to be a collector of techniques, enjoyed the view and would make mental notes to figure out how this one worked another time. The little beasts jumped around and made weird screechy noises as if they were alive and made of flesh. The frost creatures jumping at their supposed targets and blowing them up one by one, leaving behind but a nasty mess of blood and body parts. The effects of a suicide golem technique. Verdandi was fascinated. She had tried to create a thing alike this but didn't have much luck yet.

Probably, Burittsu, being an elder Yuki, had access to techniques of a previous generation that the young princess had yet to see. Considering that auntie had her Hyouton Taijutsu, there was rarely much that Ayakashi could teach to the young princess with a very different fighting style. However seeing another Hyouton Ninjutsu specialist in action was a beautiful change for once. Verd was quite sad that not much more could be seen. But she was sure that this wasn't the last time she'd have met her cousin. Eventually, they might find some time to spar and train together. Even though he didn't seem the kind of guy that would do stuff like that out of the kindness of his heart. Verd wondered. Contemplating what she would have to offer him so he'd reveal some of his secrets to her sometime. Maybe he was more the mercenary kind? Verd's family had more riches than most in these lands. Or maybe he wanted to learn the new generations techniques in return? Verd had plenty of those in her arsenal. But worrying about such was of no importance.

Verdandi nodded to her guardian, showing that she'd acknowledge him for his deed well done. Not long until the caravan reached its supposed destination without any further nasty intermissions. Verd would advise the soldiers to move out and do their jobs. The wounded would quickly be brought to the hospital-like setup encampment tents. The heavily wounded would be personally dragged by the huge Avalanche and his makeshift transport vehicle into the camp towards said medic headquarters. Verdandi was satisfied with the mission result. Over four dozen men rescued. But going by the number of corpses she had seen on the battlefield it was still only a portion of the men that had already lost their lives for this wars effort. She scratched her head once again, her worries that this whole reclamation project really had any positive use or not was still lingering in her mind. Thee mission however, was a success and Verdandi could start to file a report about it. She would move past the camp and find a messenger bird to move said intel towards the Kiri mission HQ.

The local forces had already been informed, the diplomatic effort had been done and Avalanche had been freed off his wooden transport device. The polar bear moving along next to Verd to get some pampering and chin scratches. Burittsu seemed to have already readied himself to leave. Verdandi would make her way to him. Exchanging pleasantries was certainly not his biggest hobby so Verd wouldn't try to bother him for too long. "It was a pleasure, despite that the action was left cut short, this time. I'm sure we'll meet again. I'll let auntie know of your investment and effort here…" she would mention and bow once politely as it was custom to her family rules. She'd eventually wait for his comment and then make her way all back home towards the Kiri camp.

It seemed the mission was simple and short just how he enjoyed all his missions no extra boss fight the other yuki remained unscracted and the soldiers many of them have passed onto the after life but most of them were saved. The time was for him to take his leave and off to find another mission to get his body moving only thing that caught his attention was that of the new generation of shinobi in his way starting off with the young women he was partnered with maybe in time he would also learn something from her. As he was getting ready to leave he was confronted by the young women who seemed satisfied in the result of the mission all he could do was smile a little bit as he pat the head of the young shinobi. She had great potential to become better each and every day she was one of his own younger but still one of his own people and as each generation goes she will eventually surpass the man. He could only hope he could see it one day as long as he lived on the battlefield and went back home like he promised long ago his life should be just like every other shinobi’s.

Knowing that they will meet again as he looked overhead watching the bodies be taken off to the medical corps for treatment he could only hope the war itself would not be the only thing to keep him busy. The news about how the world changed since he went missing have been nothing but trouble and chaos he could only think of the amount of shinobi he could meet and fight maybe even the Uchiha from long ago he might find among the lands of the world. With a smile on his face he couldn’t wait to reveal himself back to the world and meet old rivals and others he had battled with years ago. He grew into a wonderful shinobi but he knew around the world the others did the same growing stronger and smarter shinobi everyday. Giving her a brief thumbs up he began to turn his back onto the girl and walk in the opposite direction his goal was to explore and adventure a little more before heading back home to see what the world had to offer and all the new things he was going to learn from just simply listening and watching.
