Destiny

D-rank
Given that she had her own little private 'mission' of sorts she was on, she knew she was going to be stuck in Konoha for a while, and other villages after that. There would be no going home to do some private training any time soon; unless of course she bailed long enough to grab one of those in her squad to take them on a mini, some what forced, vacation. But, she was still debating on that, as it were. So, all in all, she wasn't going to be heading home to train in the comforts of the compound any time soon, so she might as well get used to training in other towns and villages. Not really a problem, though, so long as she was alone to work her sadistic jutsu in peace; well, as much peace as one could get while attempting to mind fuck someone. Which, was pretty close to what this new genjutsu of hers was all about.

She didn't feel the need to waste much time doing her ritual shower routine and a bite to eat before this. She knew the basics, and just needed to check over some things in the Konoha library before she ended up setting out to find her victim.. yeah, that's right, she was going to train her jutsu on someone. No animal would do, their minds were too easy to play with, she needed an actual human being, and that's exactly what she was going to find. At least, given her current mood, she was going to find some low life, someone who deserved to be mind fucked in every possible way.

So, without wasting much time she sat up in her bed, taking a glance around the small but comfortable room she had borrowed for her stay, the same one she had been in the last time she had visited Konoha. She reached next to her, grabbing Flynn the plushie, and slid him into her pocket as she rolled out of bed, standing up before she hit the floor. She gave one last glance around, figuring her things were safe enough here that she didn't need to drag them all over the place, and then set out, bringing only the key she used the lock her room behind her as she left. It too being slipped into her skirt pocket after the door was secured.

She looked left first with her violet gaze and then to her right before taking the left. She had been doing some wandering of the streets recently; the fact that she barely slept was such a wonderful thing sometimes. So, she knew some of Konoha, not nearly as well as the actual residents of course, but well enough to ensure that she wasn't going to get entirely lost on her trip to the library, and it ensured she knew where the library was to begin with. She skipped herself through the streets, ignoring the random stares she got from passersby as she went along. She couldn't care less what they thought of her, especially today of all days. She was going to train! She was going to learn a new jutsu and further her ninja self! So, they could fuck themselves for as much as she cared.. or she would fuck with them later. Either or.

Reaching the outside of the library she took pause, staring at the double doors. "I hope I don't need a card of something just to go look at the books. I don't want to take any out, I don't need that much information.", she muttered to herself, as she just continued to stare. And stare. And stare some more. And then she blinked, seemingly snapping out of a random daze she had slipped into. Without wasting any more time she walked up the steps and opened up one of the double doors, slipping in quietly.

She walked up to the counter and just stood there, staring at the librarian almost unblinkingly. She didn't speak, didn't even make a sound. She just stood there and waited to be noticed by the woman. It took a few moments, and when the woman did look at her she jumped slightly, hand flying up to her chest as she clutched her 'heart'. Demi tilted her head, momentarily surprised by the woman's reaction. "I.. apologize?" Demi hoped that was the right word to use in this sort of situation. She didn't normally care about scaring people, or startling them, but given that she needed this woman's help she was hoping to make a somewhat docile appearance.

The woman seemed to calm herself afterwards and nodded. "It's quite alright, dear. I just didn't see you there at first. Is there something I can help you with?"

Demi nodded, putting on the most non aggressive and creepy smile she could muster at this point, especially when her insides were squealing with glee at the shocked look and reaction the woman had had. Yeaaaah, she wasn't a closet sadist at all.. right. "Yes. I just have a question; do I need a card or something to just look at the books? I'm not interested in checking them out or anything like that."

The woman paused a moment, seemingly thinking over Demi's question before shaking her head. "No, dear. You only need a card if you wish to leave with the books."

Demi nodded, keeping the same smile as before on her face. "Thanks, I appreciate your help."

The woman offered her own rather friendly smile. "You're quite welcome, dear. If you end up with any more questions please don't hesitate to ask."

Demi nodded and turned, her violet gaze scanning the shelves upon shelves of books available to her now, or more particularly, how each shelf was titled. Finding an appropriate section to look in that was where she headed without delay. She moved through the appropriate rows, fingers running along the bindings of the books as she went. Ever so often, when a book caught her eye, she would pull it from the shelf, open it, and then skim through it a bit. If it was something she needed to know she would stop, read more in depth, and then place it back. Not ever once bothering to bring any of these books to a table or anything. She just really knew so much about how this genjutsu was supposed to work, that all she was looking for was anything that could help make this stronger, more powerful. She went through the same routine, grabbing a book, skimming it or reading more in depth several times, before finally, figuring she knew all she was going to about the genjutsu without actually putting the physical practice into place, she stopped.

After slipping the last book back on the shelf she turned, and left just as silently as she entered, pausing only long enough to make sure that the door to the library didn't slam behind her; all she needed was to get into trouble for killing the librarian by giving her a heart attack or something from scaring the old woman too much.

Once outside in the sunlight again she looked around, mentally calculating how she wanted to go about this whole training thing. She needed a human victim, but it had to be someone who wouldn't be noticed. Someone who the world wouldn't miss if she ended up taking this a little too far. She figured she might as well go wandering, try and look for a prime target for this mind fuckery that was about to go down.

It took a good couple hours of wandering for her to find just the right person, but eventually she had found the right one. She had followed this particular female down a darkened alley, glad that the sun was finally setting. The darkness would help, at least a little. It would hide her presence more from the other people who were busy wandering the street. She didn't want anyone else ending up involved, or knowing for that matter what it was she was capable of doing. Plus, she didn't want anyone to go snitching on her. She didn't need trouble, not right now. That would interfere with her plans.. and she needed these plans to complete themselves.

Once sure the female was a good bit down the alley she let slip a little giggle. Nothing special, or particularly psychotic in nature, just enough of a sound to catch the woman's attention. People were so predictable; they heard a sound and they just HAD to turn around and look. They could never just keep walking, ignore the sound, pretend it never happened. Humans were such flawed creatures; their curiosity so easily able to get them killed, or mind fucked... as was the case with what Demi was about to do to this particular woman.

When the woman turned her fate was entirely sealed; especially when she looked Demi right in the eyes right off rip. The genjutsu came easily enough, as all genjutsu normally did for Demi, whether it was the first or hundreth time she was using them. Her mind was molded for them, being psychotic as she was. Therefore, it was no struggle at all to instantly start the illusion off. This genjutsu was simple enough, she would project an appearance of herself; one that would look, sound, smell, and move exactly like the real Demi. All while erasing herself from the woman's vision. She played with it at first, using the illusion much like one with a puppet in the way she controlled it. She made the illusion walk around the woman, and watched as the woman turned in a full circle to keep her gaze on what she thought was the real Demi. She even had the illusion do a little tap dance for shits and giggles. Walk up a wall, as well, then release itself and send it coming straight at the woman - who ducked and screamed. Anything she wanted, she could do, with her illusion. She made the illusion do a hand stand, acrobats Demi herself probably couldn't have pulled off.

However, Demi had ignored the original scream the woman had let out, and therefore she found herself with two other people on her hands. A quick meeting of the gaze with these two and they were also under her genjutsu, having to watch the same illusion as the woman prance around repeatedly, or do more terrifying feats that would otherwise be impossible for a normal human being. After a good while of this, however, she grew bored. Given the extra people around she figured she would spare the woman's life, she didn't want more people dead than had to be; besides, the other two were innocents in her book. Therefore, she wouldn't enjoy killing them as much as she would the woman. With a silent vow to kill the woman later on, with less people around, she leaps up, using the roofs to get up higher, breaking away as she ended her genjutsu, making sure she kept herself out of sight, and making it look like her illusion of a self simply ran off, disappearing as it turned the corner so that when the three people began to give chase they were utterly clueless.

With a giggle of satisfaction at a new learned genjutsu she took off, making sure to put a great bit of distance between herself and that alley way. She took the long way back to her room, not wanting to risk someone following her in case someone had seen what she had pulled off. Arriving at her door she slipped inside, locking the door behind her.. figuring now was a good of a time as any to make use of the overly deep and comfortable looking tub...
