Rocks. Look left! Rocks. Look right! Rocks. Look behind! Rocks. Look below your feet! Who would've guessed, more fucking rocks! This was the reality in Iwagakure, something that's probably unthinkable to any other villages, except maybr Suna. They have a lot of sand there, right? Well, taht's why strangers often get bored and depressed upon visiting Iwa, as everything looks exactly the same. No colorful roofs. No cheerful parks. No excitment.

But hell; one red haired young person didn't care at all. The boy named Arashi was currently walking up hundreds and hundreds of stair, with a desire of reaching the Sightseeling Cliff. There he would just sit there, and enjoy the sight. Probably check out if Iwa has changed even a little from when he was last there, years ago. More than likely, he'd also meditate here, as he didn't get a good night's sleep this night, some meditation might resten him a bit. After about an hour of climbing, Arashi was pleased that he finally got there. With his sore legs, he just sat down at a nearby rock and looked at the village. Yup, it's definitely changed. It's much bigger now! The fact that Iwagakure was rising and growing made Arashi happy, and he smiled. He looked around, and saw that there were several more people there as well. Well, nothing to do here... Arashi closed his eyes, and laid back on his back. This was one quiet day...

Alessi was sitting a short distance away from Arashi and had a medical book in her hands. On first glance, the book would look in a fair condition, but in reality, it was very old and had a multiple worn pages. She was cautious in turning each page from fear of one flying out and being swept away by the wind. Other than the attention she had to give to her book, she still enjoyed the beauty that was around her. Even if Iwa was a bit bland with color choice, she still saw the good in it. Deciding that she had read a fair portion of the book, she stood up and looked around. Upon doing so, she saw a boy laying down on the ground with his eyes closed. It didn't alarm her or anything, but the fact that he was the only one in sight to be laying down was odd to her. Alessi inched her way over to the boy and started to talk quietly. "Um... Are you alright?" Her blonde hair was dangling down over Arashi as she waited for a response.

Arashi felt that the sun wasn't reaching to his face anymore, like that he was in a shadow. He was just about to open his eyes when he heard a quiet and gentle voice.
"Um... Are you alright?"
Arashi quickly opened his eyes, to see... A girl. She had long, straight blond hair. Blue eyes. Light tan. Damn, was she pretty or what. Arashi tried not to blush, and quickly said something before standing up.
"Yeah, sure!"
Wait... Why wouldn't I be alright? Do I look sick..? Just then he figured that he was the only one laying on the ground, and that to somebody else it might look like he was sick or passed out. Arashi didn't want to have this conversation turned into an awkward silence, so he continued speaking, without much creativity.
"Uhm... Beautiful day, isn't it?"

((OOC: You did a double post there.))

Alessi took one big step backwards to give Arashi a good amount of room to stand up. Her suspition that the boy was just laying down for the heck of it seemed to be right. Though she didn't really think he was injured at all, she still wanted to confirm she wasn't walking away from someone who was unconsious or hurt. It was really impluse that compelled her to check.

As soon as Arashi spoke, she could tell he was somewhat shy at first. She giggled quietly at his nervousness and smiled as a way. To calm him down. Before she could say something to break the silence, Arashi beat her to it. He seemed to just be trying to fill the emptiness in their quick conversation. Alessi responded right back with a happy tone in her voice. "Yeah, It is pretty nice out. Sorry if I woke you up. It just seemed kind of odd that you were the only one laying down." With another smile, he held out her hand. "My name's Alessi Kazako."

"Yeah, It is pretty nice out. Sorry if I woke you up. It just seemed kind of odd that you were the only one laying down."
True, it was a bit odd. Alessi was smiling, and her voice was cheerful.
"My name's Alessi Kazako."
A smile appeared on her face, as she held out her hand. Kozako... Oh, right, that's that clan famous for medical jutsus...
"Arashi Nekomotze, glad to meet you."
Arashi held out his hand as well, in order to shake it. He was smiling, and probably blushed a bit. This was one pretty girl, even if she was maybe a bit older than Arashi.

"Nice to meet you too Arashi." Alessi brought her hand back slowly and put it down to by her side. Her other hand had the book she was previously reading before she noticed Arashi. She was rather happy to meet another person. Especially one who was being kind for their first impression. Alessi tilted her head slightly and decided to find out a little more about this boy. She was done with reading anyway, so now seemed like a good time to find something, or someone to keep her entertained. "So what are you doing up here? Relaxing? Enjoying the view?" Her voice was soft as she spoke, even though she meant to talk normally.

"So what are you doing up here? Relaxing? Enjoying the view?"
Her voice was quiet and soft, just like before. Arashi cheerfully responded.
"Yeah, I was bored so i decided to climb here. It's been a while since I was here last time, and the view definitely changed. So, what about you?"
Arashi was curious, really. The view was pretty, but all the stars. It's rare for people to come up here, there's even a group of nifty-profiting people who charge people money for carrying them up the stairs. Brilliant, as far as Arashi was concerned.

"Why am I up here? Well..." Alessi held the old book she was carrying up with one hand. Her grip on it was obviously tight, seeing as how the book was having it's pages squished together. She waved it side to side once to show that it was the object she was talking about. "I was just reading up on some medical ninjutsu. Nothing too big." Now that she had explained the book, she tucked it underneath her arm to make sure it wouldn't fall apart and fly away. Once more, she tilted her head to the side and gave a happy grin. A gust of wind rushed by the two of them and caused a single page to fly out of the book. It flailed around in the wind and looked to be heading towards the edge of the peak. Once it was over, it would most likely be gone forever. "Oh no!" She reached her hand out to catch it, but missed and stumbled backwards.

Alessi took out a book and waved it side to side, to show that she was talking about it. It was obviously pretty old, and it was probably even falling apart seeing as Alessi held it tight.
"I was just reading up on some medical ninjutsu. Nothing too big."
Medical Ninjutsu... The mere words reminded Arashi of a person... His friend, or former friend actually. Mouse. He was such a nice guy... The hell with him and the hell with stupid Konoha! I hate traitors... Arashi smiled, and he was just about to say something as a page of the book that was now under smiling Alessi's arm flew away! That was one pretty strong gust of wind.
"Oh no!"
"Don't worry."
Alessi already tried grabbing the sheet but she missed, and it was flying towards the edge. Closer and closer. Arashi reacted swiftly, and leaped into the air towards the sheet of paper. I got it! Arashi reched into the air with his hand, and grabbed the sheet. But... He was already past the cliff's edge. Arashi started falling, faster and faster as gravity pulled him down. Luckily, he was onl a little bit past theedge of the cliff, so he simply turned around so his face was facing the mountain. As any Chakra Flow specialist would do, he simply concentrated chakra on his hands and feet, and grabbed the mountain. With his perfect balance of amount of chakra, he stuck to the rock perfectly. Alright, that wasn't so bad I only fell, what, 5 meters or so? Whatever may be the case, Arashi ran vertically back to the cliff, with chakra in his feet. When he was on the edge, he swiftly jumped and appeared back in front of Alessi, with a drop of sweat forming on his forehead.
"Here you go."

Alessi quickly looked up at the page and could now she that Arashi was no trying to get it. Immediately, she noticed that the page was a fair distance away from the peak. Arashi was still going for it though. As soon as he jumped and grabbed the page, she saw that he was now off the side.. Her heart stopped as soon as the boy fell off the cliff and was out of sight. She was just about ready to rush over and see what had become of Arashi. But before she could react, Arashi had jumped back up and landed right in front of her with the missing page. Her immediate reaction was a hug. It wasn't on purpose, but it was just instinct. Might have been a bit weird, considering they just met. Alessi quickly backed away with a blush. "Sorry... I thought... you just... fell... off..." She took the page, stuffed it in her book and, turned her head. "Thank you..."

As soon as Arashi held out his hand with the sheet of paper, Alessi... Hugged him? ...What? Arashi was quite confused. Was that sheet so important? Just then Alessi spoke, quickly breaking the short but sincere hug. She was blushing but not even close to Arashi. The feeling of warmth... He was as red as a rose.
"Sorry... I thought... you just... fell... off..."
Oooh. Arashi wanted to tell something, but he was still to startled to let out a voice.
"Thank you..."
Ara slowly got back together, and he managed to find the strength to respond, still with a weak and disturbed voice.
"Uhm... No problem."
Arashi looked around, and noticed that some people were leaving. They were dressed funny, outsiders definitely. Tourists maybe. Arashi countinued speaking.
"I have to quick on my feet. Close combat is difficult on it's own, if I was sluggish there wouldn't be a chance I'd ever get this far at such a young age. It was nothing, really."
Arashi's voice was back to his normal one, friendly and cheerful. A small smile appeared on his face.

Alessi shuttered slightly before turning back to look at Arashi. Her face was a little less red, but it was still obviously in a blush. "Um... ... ... Uh... ... ..." She didn't know what to say or do. The fact that she just hugged a person she had just met shocked her just as much as it shocked Arashi. Alessi listened to Arashi give an explanation of why he was able to stay safe and grab the page. It interested Alessi only slightly, mainly because she was still recovering from the awkwardness of the hug. "Um... Sorry about the... hug... I just... gave the wrong reaction..." She tried to smile, but had an extremely hard time doing so through the nervousness. It wasn't the was she meant to show appreciation. All she could think about is how much she screwed up.

"Yeah... Don't worry about it."
Oh man... This is so awkward... Arashi really didn't know what he was supposed to do now. He doesn't exactly have much experience with the ladies... So he just stood around and looked around, thinking of what he could say or do. The silence was getting longer...
"Well, I should... I should go now. I'm kind of getting hungry... So, yeah. See you around."
Arashi would then turn around, and head back down the stairs.

Alessi looked up to see that Arashi was leaving. She thought for a moment, then quickly ran up next to him and tapped his shoulder. "Could I treat you for something to eat? I don't think the hug could really make up for getting that page for me..." She smiled, but still had a bit of a blush going on. In her mind, she hoped that Arashi would forget the hug and move on. It might be kind of hard though, considering every time she would see him would remind her of the moment. Alessi shook her head slightly to get the thought out of her mind. The best thing she could do now would be focusing on making it up to Arashi.

Arashi heard her footsteps, she ran up to him and tapped his shoulder. Arashi was quite surprised by what Alessi said. I guess I'm pretty hungry... Arashi turned around, and spoke.
"It was really nothing. But, if it would make you feel better... Why not."
He smiled as he said what he said. A cute girl treating him for something to eat? Why not!

Alessi grinned playfully and started to walk with Arashi. Going down the mountain wasn't as challenging as it was trying to go up. She was able to go down without any trouble at all. During the decent, she didn't say anything to Arashi. Only reason for that was because she needed to focus on where she was stepping. Once at the bottom, she would take Arashi to a restaurant of his choice and treat to a meal. Her new companion was hungry, and so was she. Because of this, anything would have been good for her to eat. Something spicy, something sweet, basically any type of food.

They started walking down the stairs. They didn't speak at all while descending, probably because they had to be careful not to fall as the stairs were quite clumsy. Or just because they didn't really have anything to say to each other... Still, they were at the bottom of the mountain soon enough. It was far easier to go down the mountain then to climb up, that was for sure. Alessi offered to take Arashi to a restaurant he wants to go to, but he wasn't really sure... He doesn't really go to restaurants much. So, there was nothing else to do but to offer the lady the pick.
"Nothing really falls to my mind now... Maybe you should pick?"
Arashi would listen to any of Alessi's suggestions, and walk with her to the restaurant.

Alessi laughed when Arashi asked her to choose a restaurant for them to go to. She happen to know many of the locations to eat at, and with her given the permission to choose, the possibilities were rather open. "Alright. Let me see..." Going down the list in her mind, she started to think of a place where they could get something sweet after the main meal. "I know!" Alessi lightly tugged Arashi's shirt to change his direction and make him start walking in the direction of the restaurant she had thought of. "I really like this place. It has a bakery right next door, so there's always the option of getting something sweet afterwards." She smiled as she walked inside of the restaurant with Arashi. The overall set up of the establishment was multiple tables on the sides of the main room and a few in the middle. It had an interesting theme throughout it. The lighting was dim, but one would still be able to see through it.

"Alright! Lead the way!"
Arashi got a bit excited, as he raised his fist high in the air. He really liked sweet stuff. Alessi tugged Arashi's shirt in the right direction, and Arashi followed her. The building looked pretty much like any other, but it was clearly a restaurant. They went in. The room was pretty big, with tables mostly around the walls and a couple of them in the middle. The lighting was very dim, but just enough to see. Arashi walked up to a table in the center]
"This one is as good as any, no?"
Arashi would then proceed to take out Alessi's chair, and then sit at the opposite side of the table himself.

"This one is fine." Alessi smiled as Arashi pulled her seat out for her. "Thank you." She moved her seat up slightly and looked up at her companion. He seemed happy to be eating at a decent restaurant. Or at least, that's what it looked like to her. A waiter came over with two glasses of water to start both of them off. He then pulled out two menus and explained a few foods that they were using as specials for the day. Alessi didn't even need to look at the menu to know what she wanted. Once she had given her order, the man turned to Arashi and waited on him to answer. As a way of helping, Alessi turned her menu towards her companion and pointed out one of the better dishes that was really good.

"This one is fine."
Alessi then thanked Arashi, and sat down herself. The waiter came, and served them some water, and then asked what they would order. He started talking about the daily specialties, one after another, describing how they look and what they taste like. Arashi honestly couldn't decide, but the fact that Alessi ordered first gave him some time to decide. He was still thinking; not a second passed; and Alessi already ordered. Ara expected some more time, so he was caught off guard. Alessi probably saw Arashi didn't have a clue, so she turned around her menu and pointed out at a couple of things, probably what she recommends. Shit! Most of them's... Meat!
"Uhm... I'll have... Uhm... I'll have the...
But then, Arashi's eyes noticed something that Alessi was pointing at. No way... No way that they have that!!! Without a thought, he ordered 100% certain now.
"I'd like to have the salmon sushi with goat cheese and octopus, and some mashed potatoes with that please."
This was Ara's favorite dish by far; even if he only tried it once. It was truly amazing, as far as he remembers. The waiter wrote their orders down and went away to the kitchen.
"So... Uhm... Thanks for the help. My brain totally froze back there..."
Arashi chuckled.

Alessi kept a slight grin up. "I don't really know why I pointed at that... You just seemed like the type of person who might like that. I mean I love that certain dish... Not really sure why..." She watched as the waiter took both menus and happily walked off with their orders in mind. Food would probably come quickly considering they were the only two in the restaurant. Alessi grabbed her cup of water and took a small sip of it. "So Ara, you're a Nekomotze right? What's your clan like? I've never met a Nekomotze before." She set her cup down and looked over at Arashi, hoping for an answer. Things were going well. Meeting a new person, having a somewhat awkward moment with them, then treating to a meal right afterward. Best way to spend a day. Alessi quietly laughed to herself when she thought of how they ended up sitting together in a restaurant.

"You were right! That's my favorite dish!"
Arashi sounded cheerfully, with a smile still on his face. Alessi took a sip of water. Arashi didn't like to drink before he ate; it ruins his appetite.
"So Ara, you're a Nekomotze right? What's your clan like? I've never met a Nekomotze before."
What's my clan like? Hmm... That's a first... Arashi took a short moment, and spoke back.
"Nekomotze is a clan full of pride, but often to other looks savage and barbarian in tradition and with it's... A bit strange culture. We aren't known as the richest nor biggest clan, but we sure are strong. And I... I'm not really the typical Nekomotze. They usually look a lot more "wild", long messed up hair, curly beards... That's enough about me, what's your clan like Alessi?"
The smile was still on Ara's face.

My clan is really good with Taijutsu, but some of us are trying to incorporate medical Ninjutsu in it. We're not too strong, but we are really decent at fighting." She shrugged her shoulders up and sighed. "I dunno... Not much is really interesting about my clan..." A slight aroma started to come from the kitchen in the back of the restaurant. It smelt good and definitively caught Alessi's attention.

Just then a sweet scent reached Ara's nose. It was coming from the kitchen, smelling really really good. Could they really cook so fast? Ara took a quick glimpse around the room; they were actually the only guests there at the moment. That explained why they were working so fast, they only had to cook for two people. He took a sip of water, while wondering what he should say next.
"How old are you, if you don't mind."
