Mission name: Urgent! Save the Ninja!:

The days following the Chuunin Exams conclusion felt as if they had flown by in a blur. Nova had been swept every which way each day by the crowds and the things she wanted to do with her time in Kumo before she would leave for Kiri. Though she had tried to find time to herself, it seemed as though the only time she was able to find it was while she slept. She had found herself in the company of others far more than she was used to, and with an increasing regularity been spending time with her fellow Suna refugee and Chuunin Exams participant. The fiery headed girl had a strong personality and determination that Nova felt she herself lacked, and admired her for it. They would snag a moment of quiet and sip tea in the over sized chairs at their favorite cafe, before being rushed back into the current of the crowd with the post-exams events. Nova and Izumi had set plans to leave for Kiri together the say after the end of all the festivities, and get breakfast at the aforementioned cafe before setting out on their travels.

Nova found herself awake even earlier than normal this morning, long before the sun appeared in the sky. The evening before she had found it hard to sleep and had packed her belongings for her departure, what little she had her; no more than clothes and her puppetry tools bound up and stored inside of Kurogokegamu's body. Pale light poured through the open window, the a just past full waning moon hung low in the sky amongst a backdrop of stars. She had already showered this morning and prepared for the day, now she just sat on the bed looking at the bare room that she had occupied through the length of the trails and exams. This had been the most at home she had felt since her departure from Suna, and had more experiences gained in these months than he had in years had taken place in Kumo. As she sat in the morning silence she felt a bittersweet tinge to the peace that this would be the last morning she would sit here.

Nova would meet Izumi at Cloud Nine Cafe before the sun would rise, and drink their tea before setting out on the path to Kiri. It would be a few days travel, though Nova was certain the pair would make good time. Nova would walk out the door with Kurogokegamu trailing behind here, then she would lock the door and place the key under the mat as she had been instructed to do. She picked one last rose from the bush besides the door and she would set out, the walk to the cafe only being a few minutes. The morning was cool but not uncomfortably so, and the sky that was just starting to lighten was clear of clouds. A slight breeze flowed through the streets the sent a pleasant chill across Nova's skin. She was dressed in charcoal grey leggings and black tank, with a maroon kimono that she had purchased in the prior week. Nova entered the cafe and left Kurogokegamu in the spot in the corner that the cafe had cleared after they had seen Nova coming several days a week. Nova spotted Izumi already seated and sat beside her, ordering her tea and a pastry of the waitresses choice. There was a somber mood in the cafe, and it was fairly empty on this early morning. Nova smiled weakly at Izumi, wondering if she had the same bittersweet feeling about their leaving of Kumo. Though she would not have minded lingering, Nova drank her tea and ate her bearclaw faster than she intended and had no other reason to postpone them from leaving.

After paying for their breakfast, they would thank the waitresses that they had come to recognize one last time and set out for the edge of the village. As they crossed the gateway, they noticed that the few people who lingered in the streets would look towards them in recognition and wave towards them as they left, some of the last stragglers from the end of the exams. The path they had set before them would be a day and half of travel though mountainous paths then another day of traveling through the fog hidden landscape that surrounded Kiri. It was not a difficult trek though it would be time consuming, so the would start off at a brisk pace that they would be able to maintain late into the day. They traveled until after midday before stopping underneath a gnarled tree to eat a small meal that they had packed. Not wanting to linger here for long, they would set back out quickly after a short fifteen minutes.

From that point on they worked their way down an unmaintained mountain path, unsteady rocks looming over them on either side. It was much of the same for hours, and though they knew the direction that they were heading but Nova couldn't help but consider that they were heading in the wrong direction. As the sun set, the rocks sent long shadows over them and the wind cooled dramatically making Nova pull her kimono around her tightly. They were at the very base of the mountain now, a cool mist pooling between the rocks and crevices that lead up the mountain, thick fog acting like an ocean, rippling against the mountain like it were a shore. Though Izumi was on foot, they did not travel quietly as her puppet clanked against the rocky floor. Off in the distance they could hear the sound of wildlife, though Nova's head jerked up as she thought she heard something on the cliffs up to their right. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a rock tumble down the ledge and the hair on the back of her neck immediately stood on edge. Kurogokegamu would freeze in place, and Nova would speak softly, “Izumi... up to the right. I heard something.”. Nova would tense up and prepare to slide deeper into her puppet, preparing to lock herself inside in the event a fight would break out.

'Ayakashi had been busy in Kumogakure‘

The exams themselves had been riveting, though in many of the cases they had gone far too far. She could remember the faces of her ninja in the hospital beds after having failed their trials or having been defeated in one of their many duels that led to the ends of the exams. The arenas being a trial in of themselves was an interesting touch to be sure. It was something that she might have to take into account and prepare when it came to her nations exams. Though, the trials themselves were barbaric. They were not the kinds of things genin trained for, trials should push Genin to the limit, though they should still work within the bounds of how they had been trained and require them to use those skills in order to succeed, not needing to develop entirely new skills and training along the way like virulent adaption in order to survive yet alone pass... "There was a lightning tiger!?" Ayakashi would exclaim loudly and abruptly while she was walking on the street, startling those around her in her outrage as she would pull her hood up in embarrassment and continue onwards.

'And kiri had been hit the lightest.'

They were the country whom had the most entrants and the least injuries overall. It was a proud sight to be sure... though the suffering of the other nations' genin was not something she liked to see. Then there was Hastur himself and the acquisition of Mitsuo sarutobi. Ayakashi was happy that he was with someone who shared his vision... but something had changed within the heart of Mitsuo, she knew him to be a just man, a friend even, whose organization helped save kirigakure in their time of need. But, he was more extreme now, blunt, unapologetic. Was this the man she had always known? Or was he just like her? One too many losses had plunged him off the deep end into a person he hates having become, but rather just cannot stomach the idea of being who they used to be in a world like this... the world of the ninja has a habit of killing nice people who just want to help others and save the world... whether it be literally, or metaphorically under the crushing strain of the ideals they swore to uphold.

It wasn't long in walking through the streets however she would look at the scroll that was in her hands. With Sunagakure no sato gone, one of the refugees that had worked in the Kage building had given this to Hastur. Whether it was looted or not, she could not say. But what she did know was that it was a fine prize for the winner of the exams, one of the greatest prizes that she could have imagined. Though she could remember the look on Hastur's face when he handed it over to her like he had another and was just giving her the spare. It was disconcerting, to say the least. Clutching the scroll in her hands as she was moving for the boat that would lead the kiri ninja home, she could not help but overhear some chatter in the distance. Not wanting to pry, but the hushed tones being the type to catch her ear, she would pull to a side and listen to the two who were down the small alleyway.

"Can you believe it was that hidden mist girl who took the prize?" One voice would say to the other in scorn. "I know right? I guess what they said about that village is true, they really are a bunch of monsters... It was an amazing show though." The first would scoff... "Not that it matters, didn't you hear? From the information a bunch of refugees got from some Kumo kid prisoner a while back, they slunk through the guards here, they're totally gonna jump those two. They can be as strong as they like, they're just kids..." The second would look surprised. "What? shouldn't we tell someone!?" But the first would do little more than shrug. "What do i care about a couple random ninja, it was them that destroyed our home, so what if a couple of nomads wanna hit them back where it hurts a little. Doesn't hurt me."

Ayakashi's eyes would widen, she knew the path they had taken here, it was no doubt the same path they would be taking back. With a burst of speed, wind would explode outwards, knocking the two men to the ground in the alley as they would stare up in wonder at what had just happened. Ayakashi would take off like a rocket, jumping up onto the rooftops and bounding one building at a time barely touching the ground as she flew. Ducking and weaving as she would slice through the air so quickly her arms would whistle. Though the day was new, she would be a shadow striking across the sky, she had done this once before in this nation... moved at such speeds that even the nations' Jounin and Captains would not have a ghost of a chance in even seeing her as she would zigzag towards her destination. Locking onto the path that she knew the girls would be traveling on, drawing her blade changeling and having it extend into its full staff form.

The Mizukage would use the staff to vault and to stay on track and keep her balance as she would veritably charge up and down the slopes of the second steepest mountains in the world like they were nothing to move in the straightest line possible to her destination. Pushing faster and faster as she would be tracking at over a hundred miles an hour at land running speed in an effort to catch up to the two champions of the exams whom were making their way across the Kumogakure countryside to the boats. All the while the vultures would begin to circle. "Up to the right... I heard something." As the vultures were detected, one of them would step out from the shadows, a B rank mercenary, as well as 17 others would slink out of the shadows in an effort to surround them. Swords in hand as the group would look to face down the duo. While the vast majority of them were non-ninja, 3 of them appeared to look better, trained differently, Sunagakure headbands on their arms with a gash through the village symbol identifying them as a traitor ninja of the sands.

"Well well, look at what we got here Monzy, ain't that the kinda puppet you've been looking for since yours broke?" One of them would call to one of the obvious leaders of the troupe. "Yup, that's the one, it won the exams single-handedly, after all, So, girlie, you're gonna hand over that, and every other little ninja item you have on your person... your friend too, and maybe, we won't hurt cha too bad." They would say with a snicker, before nodding to a couple of the boyz behind the two of them. The B rank mercs moving to apprehend the two, three of them each would approach in turn reaching out for them and their gear while the others would stand weapons at the ready expecting an attack of some sort.

Ayakashi was not far away at this point, near the horizon, charging for the group as fast as she could

"Just a little further"

The red headed Karisuma awoke before the sun rose as she usually did and stretched before rubbing her eyes, trying to clear the cobwebs common to the first time one wakes in the morning. She was supposed to meet Nova at their common meeting place, the Cloud Nine Café. The two young ladies had been jerked to and fro during the lead up to the exams. Doing meetings with this jounin and that dignitary their schedules had been hectic and their only sort of privacy afforded was the time they would spend together waiting for their next audience to poke and prod them with questions like they were some sort of celebrity. The pair were still recognized around the village, having been the combatants in the primus although their battle was surely eclipsed by the climactic affair between Lamya and Nozomi. That match had caught everyone’s eye including the two young ladies. Izumi would arrive before Nova, the young lady was commonly the second one to their meetings. Her shy demeanor hadn’t done the puppet mistress well during this hectic period of their lives. Izumi had shined and covered for her well however, commonly taking the lead in the interviews. The two had grown quite close during these exams Nova was a year younger than her but they still had a fair amount in common: traumas from their youth, a destroyed home, even the same academy teachers. Izumi had enjoyed to get to know the young woman who was the only person to best her in a duel in her young career as a kunoichi. Izumi had hospitalized her opponents up to that point showing icy resolve and a killing instinct. For all the aggression she had she was unable to overcome the brilliant puppeteer whom she’d grown so close to over the course of the exams. Her cunning and strategy was too much for Izumi’s instinctual and aggressive fighting style.

The young firebrand’s confidence was her downfall, had she simply hit with everything she had she’d have been the victor of the exams. She was disappointed in herself but still proud of her peer, and hoped one day that she might be able to best her. They had become something of rivals as well as friends over time. The Karisuma woman had ordered a bowl of miso soup and some rice to give her plenty of energy for their journey today, even having four orders of gyoza ordered so that they could have some light meals later to stave off the inevitable march of hunger upon their systems. Their usual waitress had been serving her and served Nova as well when she arrived. Izumi rose to hug her tightly before she took her seat happy to have a companion for the long journey ahead, her usual travel companion, Syekren Uchiha was staying in the village, joining it as Jounin of their village. They were going their separate ways for the time being but wasn’t the end, Izumi would see him again someday. When the pair set off from the café, Izumi ensured she left a very generous tip and wished the young lady who was one of the few who had made her feel human during this spectacle of an event a prosperous future.

It was a chilly morning and Izumi was donned in the coat she had had since she fled the chaos of the Sand Village’s destruction. Underneath the large black coat, she had tight leather pants and a comfy white cotton tank top over which she wore a Kirigakure flak jacket. Concealed in her left sleeve was the blade she had had commissioned with her winnings during the exams. Izumi had gone from a naïve girl to something of a real kunoichi. The scar over left eye given to her by her good friend and companion had nothing to mar her beauty. She was dressed well to travel and had tied her hair up, it would be annoying for it to get in her face as they travelled to their home in the Hidden Mist. Izumi had sealed her luggage in scrolls which she kept tucked in her jacket pockets. It was much simpler than travelling heavy although scrolls can be surprisingly cumbersome if you don’t have a solid method of transporting them. Something Izumi hadn’t fully thought of as she fidgeted with them once more trying to get them into a comfortable position. She took a deep breath at the gate as she looked back at the village hidden in the clouds before they made their descent down the mountain and onwards to their ultimate destination. The cloud village wasn’t the worst place in the world, Izumi had grown somewhat fond of it in fact during her stay.

The misty mountain path was ominous and there was plenty of background noise to be heard, between falling rocks, whistling wind, and even the occasional wild animal. Nova was in her puppet clanking along adding to the tension and ambient noise of the place, Izumi couldn’t help but feel that something wasn’t right. Sure enough Nova felt it too, and her puppet would stop suddenly with the young lady controlling it bolting her gaze to a noise that Izumi had also heard. As the pair looked off in that direction the young puppeteer spoke up before retreating into her hatch, “Izumi... up to the right. I heard something.” Sure enough out from the mist and rocks came some rough looking characters, they were outnumbered. Izumi could count 17 of them, her head darting around as the men moved to surround them Izumi would turn her back and press it to the puppet. They couldn’t afford to get fully surrounded. Izumi also noticed much to her displeasure that some of the men were more than men, and were in fact traitors of the sand village, sporting crossed out sand village headbands. One of the ruffians would speak up, "Well well, look at what we got here Monzy, ain't that the kinda puppet you've been looking for since yours broke?" One of the dangerous looking criminals with a headband replied, "Yup, that's the one, it won the exams single-handedly, after all, So, girlie, you're gonna hand over that, and every other little ninja item you have on your person... your friend too, and maybe, we won't hurt cha too bad." Izumi gritted her teeth, continuing to keep her head on a swivel. Their odds weren’t great, but it was better to fight than surrender, Izumi found it hard to believe their captivity would be a pleasant one should they even survive this encounter. Izumi’s right hand would crackle with electricity as the men approached her and Nova. The men were bigger and most likely stronger than the young ladies, so they’d have to use surprise to create an opening and try to escape. It was their only hope unless some miracle assistance should arrive.

Izumi waited for the men to be within arm’s length before she made her move, holding out her pouch of kunai and senbon as a fake offering of surrender. Her right hand held skyward as one of them moved to grab the pouch from her. Izumi would drop it just before his would reach it and step towards him flicking her left wrist upwards to make a half ram hand signal. The blade hidden on the young woman’s wrist would plunge into the heart of the man who attempted to disarm her. His eyes widened and he fell to the ground bleeding out in seconds. Pointing her right hand at the next closest bandit to her a bolt of lightning would extend out striking him in the chest, you could hear his ribs crack as he flew backwards into a group of his allies impaling himself on their readied blades and knocking two of the men to the ground. Normally Izumi kept her dojutsu hidden and unused, however this was an emergency so her eyes would sparkle to life and brilliance, dazzling any who saw her eyes. This was it, what might be the young woman’s final stand. She wasted no time making her move dispatching the man in front of her, bringing her hands together and making a tiger sign and launching a point blank stream of fire on the man cooking him where he stood. Having incapacitated five of the thugs with her opening stroke the fiery Karisuma woman hoped Nova’s nets would prove useful here in defeating the dangerous rogues they were facing.

"Yup, that's the one, it won the exams single-handedly, after all, So, girlie, you're gonna hand over that, and every other little ninja item you have on your person... your friend too, and maybe, we won't hurt cha too bad.” Nova's eyebrows would furrow with anger. How DARE these thugs try to take Kurogokegamu from her. Though Nova had just started to test the waters of her strength she felt overconfident in her abilities currently, and though she did not know if she could beat them she certainly would try her best. She would not lose Kuogokegamu to someone else, and would rather have it destroyed in the process of fighting such a thing than allow it to happen. As the men began to approach her and her companion, she would slam the top closed and latch in, immediately loading a razor wire web into the cannon at her feet. Slowly her vision would transfer to the perspective of the puppet as she channeled chakra through the strings leading from her fingers. Three of the men would approaches from the right towards her, while three would flank left towards Izumi. The men stood close together,if they were aware of her victory in the chuunin exams she found it interesting that they would neglect to take care of getting caught in her razor net, Nova wondered if it was a planned mistake. At no more than 15 meters away they approached at what felt like a crawl. Firing the net she watched as the razor wire glinted in the fading sun and slammed into the trio of thugs approaching her, the ends wrapping around them and trapping the three of them against the cliff face.

The wires would slice through their exposed skin, drawing lines of blood as the nets edges clung to the rocks pinning them. Watching them as they began to try to struggle their way out of the net as the wires bit deeper against their skin. A grimace would cross Nova's face as she realized the true danger they faced, if nothing else because of their numbers against two of them. Seeing the crackle of raiton from her side she knew that Izumi would be able to hold her own and that Nova ought to continue through those in front of her. Nova's breath came heavy as she made a decision she might regret. The puppet would spring forward, landing on the cliff face and impaling two of the thugs pinned there with the blades on the tips of the puppets legs. A few skittering steps would take her to the top of the incline, face to face with the leaders of the group. Sliding another piece of ammunition into the slot she fired the sticky web at the leader, hoping at the very least that it would slow him down. She gasped as he sidestepped it with ease and flickered from her vision with an incredible speed. Feeling a thud on the top of her puppet she winced as she felt the leader who was standing on the puppet start to pry their fingers under the edge of the puppets lid. Kurogokegamu jerked from side to side as though it were possessed by a demon as Nova tried to shake the bandit. Still the man clung to the top, and Nova felt the puppet screech as the material was warped and the top torn open. The let her vision fall from the puppet back to from her own eyes and she would scream as she met the enraged glare of the leader of the group that accosted them.

One hand still grasping the edge of the puppet, he reached on muscular arm inside the puppet to grab Nova by the throat. His fingers would slip against her skin and Nova would pull his arm closer and sink her teeth in and biting down hard, no other option left to her. He would yelp in pain as she rended his flesh in the crescent moon shape of her teeth, giving Nova another chance and jolting the puppet to the side yet again. With a loosened grip he rolled off the side of the puppet, roaring in anger and pain. Screaming obscenities he leapt back on the puppet this time with the ease that one trained as a ninja would have, and grabbing Nova tightly by the hair and yanking her out of the puppet. Whimpering and screaming as she was suspended by her air, she swung her arms at him, grazing his face with her nails and leaving ditches of blood on his cheek over his eyes. This only enraged him further, jerking her around with his grip on the top of her head and releasing the puppet with his other to pull his arm back, readying a punch to Nova's face. She flung her arms in front of her face trying to protect herself as she screamed hoarsly.

As the fire-storm of Izumi's began to spew forth, the three missing ninja would slam their hands to the ground as one would recover from Novas clawmarks, each of them performing in synchronization the ANBU barrier technique together, a skill that betrayed their former positions from the land they had come from. The fireball would crash into the wall of chakra as they defended what remained of their group before the two that had been smashed into from their projected comrade began to get up and others would rush to the aid, sawing free their companions caught in the net beyond the barrier and freeing them quickly. The barrier was strong, several others would move to the aid of their comrades who were struck with the powerful lightning jutsu, while their ally who had been stabbed in the heart had the light fade from his eyes. There was a fire in the eyes of the assailants now. Letting out a cry one of the ninja, as the barrier had become stabilized, would summon a series of chakra strings, each of them whip-like and bladed with barbed tips at their point, shooting them out at lightning speeds for the Karisuma as he would let out a cry, though he was slightly impaired from the eyes of the Karisuma, he wasn't down yet.

"You bitch! You'll pay for that!"

Meanwhile, many of the others were outside of the arena that had been projected, only two living opponents of the non ninja variety were within the 40m radii sphere of influence that had been created, the others, now powerless behind the S rank defensive barrier would have to stand back and watch on as their leaders would move in to crush the others... If only each of them would have known what was coming their way... The other two A rank ninja would begin to move on the winner of the exams, one of them performing a summoning jutsu as a Barbed, armoured pangolin like creature would erupt from the earth, about a meter in height but brimming with fury as its ebony eyes would stare into the souls of those who would meet its gaze, the final of them all simply maintaining the battier for the mean-time, making himself more than simply a target, he would be the objective if the two of them wanted to escape, sealed within the confines of an arena against three opponents who vastly outclassed them and two whom outmatched them martially.

But a change in the tide was on the horizon.

Ayakashi could see in the distance the accumulation of people surrounding what seemed to be a pair, around them was a combination of men, while a barrier seemed to be erected in the middle of them all... This wasn't good, Ayakashi would recognize that barrier in an instant. A staple of the ANBU black ops, meaning that their opponents were at least B rank, which would be a nasty fight for the duo at the best of times. Perhaps they could defeat a single ANBU one on one... but if there were these many opponents... if all of them were B rank or higher... Chuunin exams winners or no, they were out of their league right now, and the thought of them being in trouble, attacked like this in a foreign nation made the Mizukage furious. Her chakra would expand, bursting from out of her in such a spectacle of emerald light that those on the ground would be able to see the spark near a distant mountaintop. Her sage mode expanding on such a level that the pressure of it would crack the ground she stood on.

'Then she made her move.'

A low-frequency sound of bass would be all that would echo from the tip of the mountain as Ayakashi would simply vanish from existence from the perspective of all those who would be in a position to see. Her movement so fast that it would hardly alter the landscape around her as she would simply appear 15m away from the attackers, within the midst of their group on the outside of their barrier. Her presence for a moment would go unnoticed until a single drop of pearly blood would drip from the tip of her blade onto the soil before her. One of the opponents on the outside of the barrier, as gravity, as if resuming having been on hold for a moment would show a long read line dividing their clothing before feeling part of themselves slide to one side with a sicking slurping sound that chilled those nearby to the bone as the bandit was bisected by the blade known as changeling.

They would turn, looking in horror to their dead compadre, seeing only a woman in black with the steel mask over her eyes. Her mouth exposed with a sinister smile as she would look around the group, each of them charging to surround her en-masse. Two layers of enemies would surround her, and she would allow them to do so as they had their weapons drawn and were more than ready for the fight that was about to ensue. Those who had been stunned had recovered, and those who had been scared had the reassuring sensation of adrenaline pumping through their veins and diluting that fear into a distant memory... and it was a mistake. There was a small pause as even those within the barrier had to turn to focus on the appearance of the Mizukage after their initial actions, a distraction that could likely be taken advantage of... one of the non-ninja reassuring -dont worry, she can't get in the barrier!- before moving back to their focus on the Chuunin.

"I'd normally invite you all to run... but... it seems we're beyond that now. Aha~" Ayakashi would let out a coy laugh, her grip on her blade loose and ready to act in a plethora of manners as the enemy would rally around her. No sooner than the first would charge to make an attack on Aya's person... And Ayakashi yet again, with a miniscule pulse of chakra she would vanish, throwing a blow into the spine one one of the men that surrounded her, dead in the midst of her opponents as Ayakashi would allow her chakra to spread out from herself, using extreme speed to move to a single location, spinning with her blade horizontally before moving to another, ducking low, following through with her momentum in another long sweep... vanishing again to a third location in a rising cut before moving to a fourth location bringing her blade back down again and finally a fifth thrusting forward with changeling by extending the hilt into its spear form, impaling one of the men on the end of the nagamaki before twisting the handle and using the mechanical nature of the weapon to rip the blade out a side of his body as the spear would become a scythe, letting out a kick to the corpse and sending it reeling into another of the mercenaries with enough force to slam them into the rocks behind them, killing the bandit sandwiched between the projectile and the cliff-face instantly.

Using the force of her kick, Ayakashi would allow herself to be propelled backward, somersaulting and perching on the vertical face of a tree, her knees bending as she would seem to levitate there for a moment as she would sight her next target. Preparing to bound off the tree she would begin to propel herself forward, vanishing yet again in another feat of intense speed, snapping the tree in two with the force as she would appear five meters from her next victim with all of her momentum, grabbing him by the neck and slamming him into the ground and sliding with him with the momentum before picking him up... most of his lower body ground away before crashing him, and another in the path into each other and hurling them both skyward... preparing for her next attack as swords would enclose around her, vanishing yet again as the Mizukage, like a hunter would have little more than her afterimage stuck as she would 'appear' yet again above the living victim at the peak of his ascent.

Chakra flowing into Ayakashi's heel she would drop it into his spine, spearing him down towards the ground at maximum speed narrowly missing another of the men below... But it was time for Ayakashi to finish things once and for all... the barrier would be able to sustain two jutsu of the strength of this combo's usual finisher, Aya knew this much, but centering a different jutsu on the Barrier would ensure that it would crack and split like an egg under the pressure. Restoring changeling to that of a sword, she would sheath it, and small vestiges of black and purple flame would begin to leak out as Ayakashi would begin her descent towards the earth yet again...

It would be hard for the leaders and those within the dome to not be distracted by the deeds of outside, though, one of them, redoubling his efforts would make a desperate lunge for Nova in an attempt to take her hostage, now that she had been pried from her vessel.

Izumi's initial move had been good, she had been able to create space and a small amount of time to assess her situation. It would appear the two she had caught off guard were the youngest of the bandits she could see, no doubt their inexperience had allowed Izumi to surprise them. For one of them it had proven a fatal mistake to underestimate the young woman they were apprehending, the bandit stabbed in the chest had died quickly to the blade she had hidden in her sleeve. She would be unlikely to surprise anyone with it again however she could still use it to defend herself if need be. Outmatched and outnumbered, Izumi's only hope was to stall and hope that someone else would come down the path. It wasn't far off the beaten path, Izumi and Nova had chosen to take the most popular route to the Leaf Village, one that others were sure to be traveling that night. “You bitch! You'll pay for that!” The issue at hand quite literally called to her, forcing her to live in the present when she saw the light catch something before it darted out for her, the young woman was unable to track them  and just twisted to give herself a lean of a profile as she could for the shinobi who was targeting her. It was disturbing to Izumi that this man that could easily destroy her in a single move was electing to go for a non lethal attack. He wanted to toy with her, she had angered him by downing his comrades. Izumi felt steel bite into her flesh, the sharp pain causing her to cry out momentarily losing concentration. She had two wounds on her side and worse, she could feel barbs in the heads of the little points in her side. Izumi noticed chakra strings coming from her side, the man most likely planned to pull on them, either to draw her towards him or to the ground. Either way, it was not what Izumi wanted to happen. She needed to come with a plan to deal with it. Hoping they were basic chakra strings Izumi made a half tiger hand seal and a wave of electricity would would pulse from her body. She felt the strings yank when the wave contacted them, it was able to the strings but not without causing enough pain to Izumi to bring her to one knee, grasping at her left side. Izumi heard something poof into existence behind her, she didn't have time to check on Nova but she was no doubt in a fight for her life as well.

Izumi was in a clear mismatch here, two full grown men and a shinobi from the hidden sand village were staring her down like wolves, and she was already wounded and one knee. It was irony in a way, it was not long before that Izumi was the wolf staring down her prey Fuyuko. Izumi had the horrible feeling in her stomach that this was not going to end well for her. The Karisuma woman looked up to them and rose to her feet. She did the best she could to hide her fear, if Nova had seen her it would be obvious she was terrified, but to these strangers before her she was confident they would have a hard time reading her emotions. The young woman would make a single tiger hand sign and next her would appear two copies of herself, the jutsu that undoubtedly would be remembered as her signature technique in the exams. Behind the men she was fighting Izumi thought she saw one of the men outside the barrier slump and fall, but the reality was far more gruesome. The man had been cleaved in two, and behind him was a masked woman with a chilling smile. The mask was iconic it belonged to her new leader, Ayakashi. The woman was everything Midori wasn't, strong, commanding, decisive, and famous. It was a sight to behold, the Mizukage in all her glory her power and chakra could be felt through the barrier. The men were distracted and Izumi made her move, the clone on her left focused on itself and exploded into a fountain of fireballs  which split into three groups to target the three in front of her. As the fireballs exploded forth Izumi would quickly form the ram and hare seal and send out ball of lightning. The lightning was aimed at the leader of them, this was probably her only chance to get an attack like this off with a degree of reliability, they vastly outclassed her but they were distracted.

As the men turn around, confident that Ayakashi wouldn't be able to get inside before they killed the genin. All of the men outside the barrier would focus on Ayakashi, bravely but stupidly they charged the Mizukage. The Mizukage fought with such speed that Izumi couldn't even track her movements, this was true power the likes of which she hadn't witnessed since an all too conspicuous bolt of black lightning had destroyed a mountain in Kumogakure during the exams. Izumi hadn't witnessed the event personally, however there many who had. Of course the aftermath was evident and the sound couldn't' have been ignored by anyone. They all knew who had done it, and it was a terrifying reminder of the power held by the men and woman who dedicated their lives to becoming gods. Luckily for Izumi, the men hadn't expected the assault Izumi would unleash and the two non shinobi had been struck by hundreds of small fireballs. Izumi's view of the her shinobi opponent was obscured and she couldn't see if her attack on him had scored a hit. Unsure but hopeful, Izumi maintained her dojutsu technique focusing in the direction he was last seen.

The leather straps inside of Kurogokegamu meant to hold Nova still during movement, however they had no hope of withstanding the strength of a stronger shinobi yanking her out. By her hair she was dragged out of the puppet, heels digging into the cushions as she tried to wrench herself from his grip. The thin emerald threads that she spun from her fingertips stretched as she was removed by force, the puppet still animated by her control. The stronger man flung her to the ground, and while he towered above her she smirked as she saw the bloody bite she had left of his arm. Though she was aware of movement and bodies around her, her focus snapped back too the one that slammed his foot into her ribs with force. Her body crumpled up and she screamed as she heard her ribs crack, vision fading slightly to black she twitched her fingers still guiding her puppet. From 5 meters away the puppet barreled full speed towards the man who was swinging his leg back to gain momentum for the force of his next kick.

With closed eyes and body trembling in expectance of the next impact she waited for what felt like far more than the fraction of the second it took for the black sleek body of Kurogokegamu to slam into the thug and send him rolling away from Nova. Momentum kept Kurogokegamu moving towards him, and as he slid to a stop and crouched while turning to face what struck him. Up almost time to deflect a stabbing pair of legs from the puppet, one slid to his right and into the ground beside him. The other however sunk into flesh with ease, impaling the man on the bottom left side of his abdomen and wrenching a roar from his throat.  Both hands wrapped around the puppets legs in an attempt to pry it out of his body he strained, but with Nova watching while still crumpled on the ground she saw what he was doing and twisted the blade deeper into his flesh. Still pinning him with the one blade, the other stabbed downward again. Roaring again the man deflected the attack at the last second, though with that he had moved his arms too far and was unprepared for another downward skewering thrust. This one struck true a few inches below his collarbone, piercing down into his lung and adding an unsettling gurgling noise to the roars. Both legs still twisting into the mans flesh, Nova pushed herself up whimpering slightly at her throbbing side. Though her head was reeling she looked around her to see the chaos that was breaking out. Besides the telltales wisps of smoke and crackling of electricity that signaled Izumi's own fight, there was a flicker of movement that Nova so fast that she thought perhaps her swimming mind created it. That movement though, was hidden behind a new addition to the battlefield; a dome shaped barrier.

Eyes flicking back to her immediate surroundings she saw a pair of men using some sort of summoning jutsu as a beast tore its way from the rocky earth. It was a meter tall, with thick, long spines and talons covering almost the entire creature. Its gaze seemed focus on Nova herself as she tried to stand, and she immediately yanked Kurogokegamu's legs from the mans torso and skittered over and used its own body as a barrier between the two. Nova did not remember what ammo she had slid into the puppets cannon before she was removed from it by force, regardless she fired it at the summoned creature. A mass of sticky fibers flew through the ten meter expanse of land between Kurogokegamu itself and the beast. Its aim was true, and though it would not injure the creature it would bind it in a mass of web-like strands and hopefully restrain it. Gaze flitting around the battlefield as she had at least a moment before the creature would free itself, Nova was surprised to see that the main focus of the party that attacked them had shifted. Outside the barrier the movement she thought she perceived came clearly into view, the lithe form of a woman dispatching one thug before disappearing and reappearing above the next. Nova's eyes widened, in vague recognition based more off descriptions than actual visual familiarity, as she watched as the Mizukage herself slayed some of Izumi and her's assailants. The weapon gripped in her hands changed forms, alertering itself from a sword to scythe to spear and back to sword as she alternated between her targets. Those outside the barrier lay slain, before the Mizukage turned her attention to the barrier itself. Her sword seemed to ooze visible energy as she prepared something, though Nova had no clue what it could be.

Sliding clumsily across the path she found a small rut to duck into, placing Kurogokegamu right overhead as a shield. She rotated it, preparing for an attack from any direction as Nova saw that the best change of survival would be waiting for the Mizukage's aid. One hand still twitched erratically at the puppets strings, but she brought her other hand down to her now searing side. Wincing and barely able to subdue a yelp as she pressed her fingers to her tender ribs, she was not surprised to pull her fingers away coated with slick blood. The kick had shattered at least two ribs she thought, though they must not have yet pierced her lung and her breathing, though painful, was still possible. Had she a better grasp on the medical ninjutsu she was learning there would have been a chance she could have alleviated her own pain, but as it was she would be able to do no more than heal the skin itself but not the pieced of bone underneath. She ought to leave it as is, though as painful as it was she felt dizzy, as healing it partially could potentially cause more harm than good. Eyes flicking back to the creature, she was glad to see it still struggling from the sticky restraints.

'The battle was becoming desperate, but it was time...‘

Ayakashi held her weapon at her side, and with a single flourish of the blade, a mass of nuclear black, layered in a purple fiery aura would expand from her blade as she drew it in a massive crescent threatening to overwhelm the barrier, her Senjutsu chakra flowing through the beam of ice as it would collide with the wall, crashing over it like a wave obscuring all sight and light as the world around the solid object would be obscured and turned into little more than a crystalline dome as the chakra that formed the barrier as well as that of the newly formed dry ice around them would shatter as the Mizukage came into physical contact with it all, dragging with her some of the purple flame that clung to the outside world and slamming into the ground in the center of everything, pinning one of the bantits underneath her and ending her swan-dive before slowly standing tall... It seemed that the battle within the grounds had become worse, Izumi seemed to have been hit with a technique, though her fireballs collided with distracted non ninja causing them to cry out in pain, while the ninja amongst them had managed to substitute out with one of his friends' corpses that was left charred and broken...

Looking over to Nova, things didn't seem much better, those that encircled her had summoned something, she'd fired a net in its direction, but aptly it had tunneled underground to evade the net slamming down on top of it. While Ayakashi was not keen on dealing with a summon that could perform that kind of maneuver, she knew that Izumi would be its best opponent with her Katon should she be able to fill its tunnels. Though Nova's puppet seemed to be by and large out of commission, the fight was far from over at this point, Backup had come in the form of the Mizukage, and though she had already burned through a monumental sum of chakra, these three former ANBU brigands would be little more than a workout. Sunagakure was a fallen nation far before it had become little more than glass and crystal... Ayakashi was used to training against her Hunter ninja captains, who would far exceed these men in strength and strategy, but, she would take a small amount of time, taking advantage of the awe of her breaking the barrier in a shower of shimmering frozen dust and glory to look to her two underlings.

"Are you two ok? I'm going to ask you to handle the rest, I'll take the ring-leaders... If you're still able I mean, assuming the Chuunin exams didn't tire you two out..."

The Mizukage's demeanor was snide, challenging, she was goading the two of them to get fired up, pump that adrenaline into their systems and get angry. She was proud they'd managed to fight them off to this extent, but they weren't out of the woods yet. The A rank former ANBU that stood before them would grimace, leaving their positions against Nova and Izumi to focus on the Mizukage, each of them activating myriad techniques as one of their swords began to radiate with chakra, another's skin seemed to turn dark and become more dense around his arms and legs while the third re-summoned his barbed net of chakra threads, while activating another jutsu that turned the threads red, and beginning to simmer against the cold stone... In response to their threats Ayakashi would do little more than kick her wedding band up from her boot, striking at it with the hilt of changeling to connect the two of them together and combining their advantages as she would, with her free hand, draw one of the bladeless hilts from her side...

'Kusanagi'

Flooding the legendary Double S rank sword as well as her other weapon with chakra, Kusanagi would hum to life as it would cut through the air, while steam would begin to rise form her other blade as it would drop dramatically in temperature compared to the area around them. The three opponents looked cautious, they would not want to engage Ayakashi at close range while she had a legendary blade in her hands, so, they would each exchange a glance, and a slight nod, passing through via whatever means the intention of performing something together. Whatever was once the case, Ayakashi determined that these three were once a squad of somekind, they'd gone rogue together. So, as they all took a deep breath, Ayakashi would begin to spin... chakra formed in the three's lungs as two of them would heave out a MASSIVE swarm of Katon in the form of a greater fireball jutsu each, while the third would slam Ayakashi with a Futon jutsu to empower them both to the extreme.

The result was a catastrophic firestorm that would explode up almost thirty meters into the air, however, without missing a beat, one of the three would feel something impact his shoulder, as a dart would collide with his shoulder causing him to gasp. Ayakashi had performed her Hyouton Rotation, and in doing so, using the extreme spin-force thrown her Rope dart at unbelievable speeds that even the A rank ninja wasn't able to track... as soon as he was hooked, the spin force in the cyclone as well as the rotation would draw the taijutsu ninja in, enveloping him in the flames and cutting fuuton as the techniques would come to an end and Ayakashi would stand in the center undaunted. Breaking to charge down her two opponents and engage them in close range!

Meanwhile the remaining non ninja, and the summon that had dug underground would still be threats to Izumi and Nova. The summon, having enhanced its spines with chakra would burrow up for Nova from underground, ready to perform a dolphin like dive up into her before following through and returning to the safety of underground, potentially dealing nasty wounds in the process, while the non ninja against Izumi would charge her head first with their blades aiming for decicive cuts for her neck and chest.

The battle was raging all around them, chaos had reigned supreme on the battlefield, there was fire and lightning, ice and wood. Death was spreading fast among the enemy, the Mizukage was a thing of awe and destruction killing all that she set her eyes upon. Izumi herself hadn't done too badly, she had killed or wounded at least five she was holding her own and finally had started to feel that she had a chance to survive this ordeal. The tides were turning and the Mist ninja were winning now. Ayakashi let out a violet arc of energy that froze and shattered anything it hit, destroying the barrier as well as any brigands it happened to come into contact with. The beauty of the destruction wreaked by the woman had quite the impression on Izumi, she was obsessed, she had to impress this woman. Something deep down within her wanted nothing more than to earn the Mizukage's recognition. Any doubt she had on choosing the correct village to join was gone almost immediately, replaced with resolve and devotion to her, the most powerful woman in the world. She was everything Izumi wanted to be, and more. One day Izumi hoped to even be considered being mentioned in the same sentence as this most glorious paragon of power. The Mizukage challenged the shinobi to fight her while aiming a light hearted taunt at the two young women. She wanted them to keep fighting, Izumi was confident she could handle these foes now that all they were tasked with was the strange summoned creature and the few remaining non shinobi opponents. Izumi had one of her clones left and plenty of chakra, she continued to maintain her clan's dojutsu the bandits that made eye contact with her would become paralyzed, frozen in place by the beauty of their sparkling grace. Izumi w as ready to destroy them, she made a tiger hand sign and her clone simply exhaled, sending a gas from it's mouth, the gas would move to fill the tunnels of the strange pangolin beast. Focusing on the remaining clone's dissipating Katon chakra from creating the stream of deadly gas, another fountain of fireballs would explode into the sky tracking the remaining enemies from above, except this time any fireballs that missed would cause little fires on the ground still charged with Izumi's Katon chakra, the hundreds of the little fires would intensify in heat slowly.

The fiery Karisuma felt she finally had the upper hand, she could see that behind where she was combating the band of brigands. Izumi was honestly surprised that they hadn't been routed by now, any victory at this point would be Pyrrhic, seeing as even if they felled the two newly minted Chunin, they'd be slain shortly after by the Mizukage. The three shinobi prepared some sort of tandem attack, two of them using fire and one of them using wind. It made for something impressive, watching the three of them work in unison to try pathetically to fight the most powerful woman in the world. Ayakashi had pulled one of them in somehow and he became the new target for the firestorm that would have easily annihilated Izumi and Nova. Izumi owed her life to the Mizukage now, and made a silent vow of loyalty to her village. Originally the young woman had planned to only stay a short time but this display had changed Izumi making it clear that this was the home for her. She at least could not leave until the life debt was paid. The last thing Izumi saw before returning her focus to her own ordeal was the beautiful woman charging gracefully to the meet the two jounin in close range combat. Izumi heard a strange cracking sound and saw the pangolin creature leap out towards Nova slashing towards her before diving back into the ground. Izumi was prepared this time and smiled as the gas followed the creature ensuring to avoid Nova so she wouldn't be burnt when the hellstorm was ignited. There was a spark on Izumi's left index finger that was fired towards the rear of the gas that followed the creature into it's new tunnel. This was sure to roast the critter in its tunnel, the spark would ignite it and send a hellish burst of flame into its tunnel the heat and explosion enough to break bones and cause 3rd degree burns damaging the internal blood paths causing internal bleeding. Unless the creature was vastly stronger than Izumi, it was sure to cause it some serious damage. Izumi called out to Nova as the smoke and flames cleared, she noticed her puppet had been taken out of commission by the ninja “Nova get behind me, I can hold them back until the Mizukage finishes dealing with those ninja.” The fear that had been commanding her actions fell away, the Mizukages call to action having had a positive effect on the young woman.

Assuming Nova got behind Izumi, the young Karisuma would make a series of three hand signs, ox, snake, then tiger before concentrating on the fires leftover from the fireballs. If the men would charge them and attempt to surround them chains would shoot out to apprehend them and stop their movement. Their red hot glowing metal would burn into their skin and restrain them. If the men were captured, Izumi would charge them and start stabbing them in the heart one by one ending their miserable lives and cleaning their filth from the surface of the world. The sinners must be cleansed from the world, they were worse than just the run of the mill bandits they were former sand villagers who had betrayed their village. Izumi hated traitors, they were worst kind of scum to walk the Earth. Nothing could be worse than purposely hurting those that trust you. If the sand had had less traitors perhaps her mother would still be alive, perhaps she'd be a less powerful kunoichi but she'd be okay with that if she could just have her home back. These men that they were fighting were no better than those who had perpetrated death and destruction among the innocents of the sand village. Izumi awaited the final charge of these animals eagerly ready to kill the rest of them off and excited to show off her killer instinct to the Mizukage in a real situation instead of just a babysat fight in which both participants were guaranteed to go home at the end of the day.

"Are you two ok? I'm going to ask you to handle the rest, I'll take the ring-leaders... If you're still able I mean, assuming the Chuunin exams didn't tire you two out..." Nova's face crumpled slightly as the her wound on her side made her head swim slightly, thinking to herself that it was not the exams that tired her out whatsoever but rather being kicked in the ribs. Had it been anyone else other than the Mizukage and had it not been in such an environment she would have grumbled out a snarky response, but as it was she merely nodded in acknowledgment of what their savior said. Kurogokegamu was not in good condition, and though it was not broken yet she disconnected the thin emerald threads that held it up after moving behind the Karisuma girl that she accompanied. They floated in the air as if in water, trailing from her fingers as she looked around. Two of the men had windmill shurikens at the ready as they circled around them like hungry wolves. Izumi was preparing something for those in front of her, Nova would have to deal with these two. The large shurikens whipped through the air towards them but before they could strike Nova would react, from her fingers the strings would separate and fling themselves to either side of where she was standing. The emerald string would connect itself to the metal disk, and with a twitch of her fingers they would slide past her. They whistled as they whipped by no more than six inches in front of her face rather than through her as intended as she guided them past her but used their momentum to keep them spinning through the air at the men on either side who had thrown them. The thread kept hold of them as Nova swung them around, spinning like wicked buzzsaws as they sliced into those who had thrown them.

Though this would not put them men out of combat, Nova would bring the blades back towards her. She would keep the spinning motion on them and rotated them aroun eachother in front of her, prepared to send out her controlled projectile to deter their approach. Though she hated to admit it this was the best she could do at the moment, with Kurogokegamu sitting out of commision and a lackluster knowledge of jutsu she would have to depend on Izumi far more than she wanted to have to. Watching the beast tunnel underground had inspired her though, and when she should become settled in Kiri she intended to apply its technique to a puppet of her own. Though the gas trail Izumi had ignited seemed to have dealt with it, Nova herself would have been at complete loss as to how to defeat a creature such as that. Groaning as the pain in her side throbbed, Nova was unsure how long she would be able to deal with the pain before losing her concentration. Grimacing she knew she had to contribute what she could to the fight no matter how small an attempt. Her brows furrowing with concentration she slung both the blades at the man to the right, staggering them so no matter which way he would dodge he would still be struck. They stopped midair as she began yanking them back in the other direction, the further distance giving them even more momentum as they both struck true. Nova smiled, though she did not bother equipping such gear normally perhaps she ought to, it seemed like a fairly effective tactic.

'The ensuing battle was quick and fierce!‘

Ayakashi would dash into her first opponent who would thrust out with his blade to intercept, routing the blade to a side with a deft parry of changeling, sliding it underneath his sword and lifting it up high to raise the mans' arm. Overwhelming her target Ayakashi would step into his guard, bringing kusanagi under her own arm for a horizontal cut, but the other opponent was already upon her! Cutting her attack short, and moving to block a horizontal cut with a knife at her side, Ayakashi would whip Kusanagi's hilt out to guard, but with the weightless blade, even an A rank ninja, by clashing with Kusanagi with his second dagger closer to the tip of the blade was able to push Ayakashi's arm away by using the weightless blade as a lever against her... Choosing to recoil her blade in and spinning away from her two opponents. The swordsman, arms up high from the parry would bring his blade down for Aya, who would switch, blocking high with Kusanagi poised above her head as she dropped her weight and let out a lightning fast kick for the side of his knee.

Fast or no, the assailant was able to do little more than mitigate as he would turn away from the kick, Ayakashi would hit the back end of the knee bringing him to his knees rather than snapping the bone. Placing her hand on the ground as the daggersman would advance bringing in his weapons in an 'X' for Ayakashi's neck, she would follow through with her kick... pivoting on the back of the man's and rotating her hips she would bring up her other leg in a round-house kick to intercept the outside of one of the daggers collecting the hand of the ninja and shattering several of his metacarpal bones as his dagger would soar into the leg of one of Izumi's attackers at the time that he would charge into the veritable minefield moments as they would become violent chains, as his other two companions attempted to move through it. Slipping her other leg free, Ayakashi would rotate out of her kick, landing on her feet and standing up to face the two men once again. She'd disarmed one of their weapons, deeply hurt the inside of another one's leg and was on the upper hand... though they worked well as a team.

'Might even give Nozomi a run for her money.'

One of them would inhale and fire would belch out of his mouth in a great torrent as the other would use the cloak that it provided and follow it up with his remaining dagger. Without missing a beat Ayakashi would simply activate her Flame dispersal technique. Coiling Hyouton down her sword and launching it towards the flame as the heat and cold would intermingle and create chaos like a swirling hurricane that the opponent running towards Aya would be in the heart of. Launching him back with deep internal bruising, clutching his chest as A fuuma shuriken, would hew through the hurricane in a blitz towards the swordsman, catching him off guard as he would raise his sword to defend against it... Yet in a moment, there would be a deep bass sound, Aykashi emerging from smoke that had once been her shuriken, vaulting over the top of her opponent and landing... Using her intense speed, she would have let go of Changeling, the man was distracted in an instant as Ayakashi would spin and not attack, simply held out her hand...

In a flash Ayakashi would round off her landing, a Fuuma shuriken in her hand once more and her opponent falling to the ground in half. Having thrown her Fuma shuriken, used it to substitute with while in motion, substituting to use herself as a distraction while the Fuma still travelled the same path as before, simply on a delay and catching the ninja by surprise as he turned to face the lesser of two threats in place of moving... It was all over far too fast. Ayakashi would advance on the last of them all, grabbing one of her arrows and simply throwing it at him, putting it through his leg as she intended to keep this man alive, yet, before it was able to land, he would perform an act that even Ayakashi would be taken by surprise... the evidence removal technique would be performed on himself as a suicide jutsu... her arrow hitting the air as a spark of emotion stabbed Ayakashi in the heart... though now was not the time to deal with that...

Looking to the others, it would seem that their battle had gone well, Izumi was finishing the last couple of her men off with stabs to the heart in the midst of her valley of flaming chains, while Nova had shorn down her opponents with their own fuma shurikens. It was a devastating display, but it seemed that the group had gotten out okay, though, there were none among them still alive to drag back to the Raikage to explain to them what had happened. Which was probably for the best in this case. So, letting out a sigh and lowering her mask to reveal her face, she would place it on her belt and recover her weapons in a quick instant. Moving to the other two with a quaint smile plastered across her lips as she would endeavor to evade the bodies of the fallen.

"Well, this wasn't exactly how I hoped this would go, but, here I am... I came as soon as I heard, but I was supposed to come and congratulate the two of you in person. I can see now your winning in the exams was equally chance as well as skill..." She would say, in reference to that, at least as Far as Ayakashi could see, Izumi had been more effective in this combat... Her eyes drawn particularly to the smoking tunnel, in which no pangolin had managed to come back out of... Though not meant as a slight, it was a comment on how incredibly skillful the two of them were, simply that, had they fought again, it could easily slide in the other direction.

"I actually came to give you this Nova, a generous gift from the Raikage for your victory, but I beg you to keep it hidden from many... this weapon... is powerful for even me. " Ayakashi would hand over a large scroll, the generic sealing seal upon it as she would hand over the item that contained 'Sasori.' Her prize for winning the exams. "But for now lets go, feel free to reveal it and see... now that we're beyond prying eyes... But either way, I'll be accompanying the two of you back to Kiri, now that the exams are over... I hope the two of you don't mind. "

With that, Ayakashi would await the response of the other two, smiling as she would begin to move with them, helping where possible.

It was time to go home
