A smooth floor made of concrete that, by the smell of it had been recently treated with an epoxy like solution to give it a marble-like texture to its surface, a vent that was to small for such a large room to efficiently circulate air as its rusty hinges barely kept it attached to the bare white walls of the room, and a stained wooden door across the room whose dark brown surface awkwardly stuck out like a sore thumb when contrasted by the surrounding wall, and a dying light bulb hanging from the ceiling that was normally only about as bright as a well lit night and only occasionally hummed with enough power to achieve a satisfactory amount of light: This was the extent of everything that Yasu could perceive from where he spot he awoke in.

At first he thought something was wrong with him because as he tried to stand from the position he was sitting in it was fruitless. A quick survey of his person though easily allowed him to see the chains that wrapped around his person preventing him from moving from the spot he was in. Dozens of locks littered the thick, heavy chains that were tightly wrapped around Yasu's body in strategic areas to effectively negate his ability to stand from the metal chair that anchored him in place. A closer inspection told him that the chair was actually attached to the ground by screws covered in writing that implied a fuuinjutsu. Yasu looked about the room for a camera as he was certain that there was one in the room, but every inch of the room was empty barring the stuff he saw when he first woke up. He waited until the light bulb to have enough light to shine into the vent, and still no camera. Yasu turned his head trying to barely enter the threshold for unnatural rotation distance just so he could evaluate completely behind him from his seat as he turned from one side to the other. Still, no cameras were visible.

Yasu attempted move his core ever so slightly out of his chest, its tendrils pulling against his body in order to escape the cavity that held it. For a moment it started to come out before it met resistance and was forced back into Yasu's chest. A flustered look appeared on Yasu's face as he looked down noticing for the first time that there was coincidentally a chain over the cavity that held his core, one that he was highly confident wasn't there before. Yasu's core having only moved a few centimeters before encountering resistance, left with little choice, the core retreated back into its shell.

Yasu reviewed his mind for the details visualizing himself and the area around him. Yasu's eyes slowly went blank as an imagined version of himself slowly faded into existence in his mindscape. Yasu stood in a blank room and with an empty sideways hand wave he manifested a replica of himself bound in the chains with the chair sitting on a small circle of the floor of the room. Pacing as a he looked over himself in held down to the chair, He looked himself over taking the chains in an the mechanisms that held them in place. He lifted them up acknowledging the rudimentary style of them as if they were made by someone who knew how the inner mechanisms of a lock functioned, but didn't have the craftsmanship to create unique, hard to pick locks. While this lock, as well as the others, did look like it wouldn't be easy to pick it was definitely within the realm of possibility for a genin.

Underneath the chair a small circle of floor that was visible around the base of the chair spread infectiously like a ripple replicating the the spartan, concrete floor of the room. Yasu got down close to the ground to investigate the floor for more information on the room. His hand slid across the floor, the stickler for cleanliness he was. A layer of dust so thin it barely even impeded the luster of the finished concrete, but it was there nonetheless. It seemed that though there had not been a lot of activity in the room, most notably because of the lack of dust, mostly a byproduct of animals shedding skin cells. There were very definitely patches of dust where the dust had clumped together into dust bunnies almost like the wind had rolled them into that position.

As he looked up from the ground something else began forming behind his real body that was bound and tied down. Its shadowy form had briefly been within range of his peripherals, but he hadn't actually noticed it. It almost seemed like a hulking figure leaning on the back of his chair. When did? Yasu superimposed the scene from when he first entered the room into his mindscape. Yasu had been sitting in the empty room patiently waiting for his proctor. He silently looked around and took in the room, as he awkwardly passed the next thirty or so minutes in silence before a tall man with some sort of jerky in his mouth walked in to the room locking the door behind him. He looked Yasu sleepily in his eyes.

"The goal of this trial is child's play really. Alls you gotta do is escape."

"Escape what?"

The proctor tapped Yasu on the shoulder and whispered in Yasu's ear as he continued past him with a shit eating grin on his face. "Good Luck." A second door opened behind Yasu that hadn't been there before. With a poof he teleported out the backdoor, and a slab of stone slid over the opening to seal it shut leaving no trace that it had ever been there. There was also something else when he teleported though: the faint smell of smoke, The sound of air being displaced, maybe even a breeze that didn't quite move right. All of these could have easily have been things  he was remembering incorrectly, but he wasn't so sure.

Yasu's eyes slowly fluttered open, and from his chest a single thread opened the compartment just a little, before reaching the area behind him Taking purchase on a familiar form. Ogre stands behind Yasu, who turns his head and sees Ogre fully equipped with all of his equipment. With vigor Yasu attaches a second string to a singular kunai that speeds towards the chair and through the fabric around his arms and hands that was inhibiting him from using them. Ogre then reaches into the holster for four senbon placing them in Yasu's hands. With his right hand he grabbed the closest lock, and with his left he planned on picking it with two of the four senbon. Quickly going to work on the the lock, he held one senbon between his pinky and ring finger and another between his pointer finger and thumb. With great finesse he would slowly go through the first lock, and after maybe thirty seconds he hit a point where he couldn't quite move the tumblers with his senbon, and he retracted the chakra strings back into his chest switching to using just a single one with his middle finger. With the chakra strings on his middle finger he one by one moved any tumblers he couldn't move with the two senbon, and after a couple more seconds a weird, but satisfying clicking sound indicated that he had made it through the lock.

A large, thick chain noisily fell to the ground coiling around his chair kicking up a small amount of dust into the air. Yasu  looked at it confused as it just hung there in the air before falling. Yasu couldn't help the feeling that maybe the locks weren't the focus of this test. It would be weird if this just tested the genin's ability to escape the room, especially after that last trial. It wasn't just defeat the clones, it was to do so without harming the proctor. Yasu used his newly freed hand to grab a piece of Yasu's cloak, ripping off just an inch of fabric. The colossal man walked over to the vent and held up the piece of cloth to the vent, but it didn't move. Going off of a hunch Yasu began expelling large amounts of chakra from his system. "Genjutsu: KAI!" With his left hand he formed the seal of confrontation molding his chakra before it flared out of him.

Slowly, one by one the chains disappeared and Yasu was left sitting on the chair he started the trial in, completely unencumbered. His vision was drawn to the vent again as a pink mist blew the piece of fabric in Ogre's hand. Yasu's eyes went wide as he repositioned Ogre in front of the door. Ogre delivered a powerful open hand palm strike to the door, a rather simple door, blowing it off of its hinges as Yasu ran past him and out of the hallway. Over a loud speaker in the hallway he heard a blaring voice yell,"...r fifth genin makes it out alive. no doubt gasping for that sweet, sweet O2." Yasubei tried to wordlessly ignore the narrator as he made his way out of the building so he could find a place to seal Ogre and stop being watched.
