Kisei nervously prepared the body onto of the metal cart. Precariously checking every nook and cranny to make sure everything was in working condition. This latest order was actually an older one that was just finished. It was a fairly big, although it wasn't complicated, just difficult to make. And here I thought that chakra tech was hard, puppets are on a whole different level.

Placing the covering over the puppet body was an unnecessary touch, but Kisei was feeling a bit insecure today. He had both of his weapons with him just in case something happened. He would've felt less trigger happy if Alpha had decided to stay and watch over the whole thing. But as it turned out, "He had work to do." Whole thing pissed him off to no end.

Honestly. What's a guy to do?

Kisei rolled the surgery cart outside, the grinding of sand on metal assaulted his ears but he walked through it. The puppet was surprisingly light so the wheels glided the sand fine. It's just the wind that drew it everywhere. He was feeling a lot better about the covering he put over the puppet. Kisei was doubtful it could affect the internal systems but always better comfortably safe than uncomfortably sorry.

It was around the scheduled meeting time. Midday, a couple of weeks after the form was submitted. They should be here soon.

Shujin couldn't help but be a little more excited than his normal self. He usually preferred to keep some composure but today was a day to be excited about. Today was the day he finally got his puppet. He of course couldn't go to the clan but the village had agreed to tax the clan for part of the cost of his puppet since he was a clan member and they were under some obligation. Still he would finally be able to say screw the clan. No other genin within the clan would have a puppet at his level anyway. Not only were all the modifications C rank in build but he had the opportunity to go to someone above the norm. His puppet was one of chakra tech. He would smile at the thought of that. A puppet above other puppets and designed just for him. He could feel his combat capabilities rising already. As if it was just a matter of time before he was a legend. He knew this was just the first step but one could dream. Still it was drawing closer to the appointed time so he needed to be on his way. He shouldn't be late after all.

He had dressed in his usual boots with the cargo pants tucked over the top of them to keep sand out. The dark green cargo pants were a distinctive difference from his yellow button up shirt hanging loosely around his torso. Over it he had an open blue hoody with the hood pulled up. Still his white hair would stick out and frame his tanned face and cold eyes. His weapons were slipped into the pants cargo pockets a little lower on the legs. Kunai in one pocket and senbon in the other. His headband tightened around his right wrist. He was fully dressed and ready to go.Still it held some nice cloud cover for the rains destined to come that night. Due to that it was colder out than usual with a cool breeze. He didn't mind the cold at all though. Instead he slipped out of his apartment and locked the door behind him before slipping the key into his hoody and heading out. Slipping down the stairs in a single leap before forcing himself to calm down. Making himself walk calmly as he had plenty of time to get to the meeting point. He needed to remain calm.

He measured his breath and pace as he moved. Feeling it childish to get overexcited over a simple item order. Even if it was his first real step beyond graduating to spitting in his clans face. Still he would approach the complex where he was to meet the maker and pause in his thoughts. Studying it more with each step drawing him closer. It wasn't until he rounded a corner and saw a young man waiting with a cart looking rather impatient. Something was under a cover on the cart and he could almost sense what it was. His puppet was right there waiting. He considered that he could just kill the kid and take it but that would be bad for future business. Instead he rolled his neck until it popped and shoved his hands into his hoody pockets. Moving forward with his headband hidden as he stopped a couple of meters from the boy with the cart. Studying him with ice blue eyes. Unsure of what to make of him. If the puppet lived up to expectations he would be commended...if not...well...

"I assume that there is my order. A puppet made to my requested specifications?"

Kisei tilted his head at the sight of a lone boy who had just come across the corner. They looked confident, composed. As he walked closer  Kisei could see his eyes analyzing him and the puppet body his placed on the surgery table. In the back of his mind he wondered why exactly his brother had a spare medical table just lying around but he didn't bother too much with the question. The boy though... Kisei couldn't get too much of a read from them. They were both annoyed and lax at the same time, maybe? The Ushinatta had spent more time tinkering with machine as opposed to people so he was rather lacking in that department. But there was something there that pissed him of, it seemed more like a habit or a set frame of mind than just a bad day. Then again though a bad day can do that to you, regardless of the past.

Diverting a bit of his attention he thrust his umbrella, point down, into the sand to his direct left. The strange hilt prominent. When he looked back up to his supposed customer he was surprised. They were older than he had thought. He gulped experimentally. Please don't have an amazing personality, I would hate to have another guy to crush on.

As much as he would've liked to spend more time oogling the poor fool both of them had business to take care of, the boy's question reminded him of that. Putting his guard back up he answered flatly. "You presume correct.... whoever you are. I believe you'll find the puppet, pleasing?" He nodded to the man before continuing on with the demonstration. He yanked away the tarp covering the puppet. On the table it lay so still it almost reminded him of a corpse, so still with its eyes closed. Some people found puppet eyes to be an uncomfortable sight so he built in the option of closing it. An un-nessecary feature but one he was happy to make. Brushing aside a few stray hairs from his creation he snuck a hand behind its neck and pulled up.

"I believe on of the things you requested was a way to use the puppet without chakra strings. It was rather simple to make. So if you'll draw your attention, here-"
Kisei pulled the sliding panel to the left, revealing five holes built into the puppet. "-you'll find just that. Stick you're fingers into the hole and you'll be able to control it like you would with the normal puppet jutsu."

Deciding not to spend any more time on that he rested the puppet's head down, moving his hands to their mouth.  He pulled it open, revealing an apparently empty throat. Pulling out a pencil he gently stuck it into its mouth. It was safe to place it inside, there was no other ammunition in there anyway and it was designed to be able to fire much larger kunai and shuriken anyways so a pencil would be no problem. "A bit of a traditional function for puppets, it's not all that fast you'll find but it can go pretty far." With a pulse of chakra into the tips of his finger tips he produced thin strands of chakra which latched on to the internal controls of the puppet. It immediately came to life, springing up to a sitting position and twisting its head to the house behind Kisei. Then with a flick of the wrist it fired the pencil. His house was approximately thirty meters away, and just over a second later a dull tap could be heard from that direction.

Kisei was rather impressed with the work he did, he hadn't expected this puppet to turn out all that well but it was working perfectly. "Now, there are a few more surprises to show you but right now are there any questions you might have?"

Shujin would watch the young man a moment. His cold blue eyes like ice as he confirmed his suspicions. The puppet was waiting for him. It was just there under the covers and his real ability was simply waiting for him to grasp it. Or rather pay for it. It was a service after all. Not many people were capable of making such mechanisms. His own clan had their puppet craftsmen that had trained to do it for years. However he hadn't had access to those. His clan still considering him a wasted existence. He could prove he was on their level now though. Prove even without their clan training he was a superior puppeteer. Perhaps their traditionalism was enough for them but he wanted to expand his thoughts and methods to modern day. Even if they didn't accept him now they would have to in the future. He wouldn't surrender to the world and let his heart be crushed into embers. Not until everyone recognized him. Even then he wouldn't accept the Chikimatsu. They would regret losing him and not being capable of re-obtaining his power. To top that off, if they challenged him for it in the future he would crush anyone they sent and those who sent them.

Still his thought process was only serving to cause him undue irritation. He realized his jaw was clenched and took a moment to force himself to relax. The cover to the puppet was being removed and he was rather surprised to see something that looked almost like a corpse in a suit on the table. The kind of outfit a servant might wear. He had never thought of himself as someone who could have servants. He supposed even bad men with bones in the basement had servants though. One that only did his bidding was fine with him. Still it seemed to almost be sleeping. The maker though would slip his hand under it and sit it up. Sliding a panel to reveal the wire contraption to conserve chakra. It was unique but useful too. He simply had to put his hand in there and the puppet would do his bidding as if it were chakra strings. Wonderful. Still that wasn't all. It would appear that was only one of its functions. There were other traps to be had with puppets and this one would not be an acceptation. For which he was pleased.

He would cross his arms as the corner of his mouth twitched into a smile. The young man would produce a pencil and open the mouth. A firing mechanism? He mentioned even as he loaded the pencil in. An odd bit to use for ammunition but one with some use if even a pencil could be loaded. Likely it fired senbon usually. Still he would watch as the man activated his puppet and had it turn its head. He had mentioned it was slow but it still covered some distance in a split second. The pencil firing and clacking against the stone wall of the house a moment later. It would do for range and speed for now. Besides he had ways of locking down the movement of his opponents. Ways that still allowed him to move and he could still sense them while they couldn't see out. It was chakra heavy but still that was the point of a puppet that didn't require chakra. Still he mentioned questions before he offered to move on. Shujin would step forward and touch the mouth almost tenderly as he peered inside. Speaking as he did more to the puppet than Kisei.

"I wonder...what kind of ammunition can you use, and how many?"
