Noel needed new skills and he also needed something to keep his hands busy as he kept playing with his pencil, then he noticed a mission at the mission board that caught his eye. He took the mission and off he went spreading his wings to fly, in the bright and light sunny sky. He flew for the minutes of an our finding nothing but sand from the eastern gate, until he came across a pack of coyote who looked up at him for a moment before continuing in a strangely suspicious direction as he followed them keeping track of where he went from the eastern gate by marking the map for every five minutes he flew.

He had to be a bit careful and his mapping skills were not perfect, but he at least had a flight speed chart he could then work with in order to determine the distance. He finally found what appeared to be a watering hole of sorts with one or two trees as the coyote's began drinking. It seemed like the two trees kept the ground in place and also kept back some of the sand on the outskirts from blanketing over the area as there was some light grass to it. He began making a weird pool shaped symbol, some lines with leaf like structures coming out of it and a small note mentioning that coyote's were drinking there.

He flew nearer and landed in one of the trees as the Coyote's looked up to him again before going back to drinking some of the water as Noel began to feel thirsty as well.

Some time had passed as Noel began to fly back retracing his steps as he began adding a few more minor details to the map including a few rock formations which seemed to be covered in sand and a few random old towers that he spotted as he flew with exact distances zig zagging while carefully keeping track of the direction of the sun as he did this.

After some time he was on his way back with his rough, but neat drawing of a map that would at the very least give you a general idea of some minor key locations, though the desert was massive so he could not make a big map, but even a small map had its uses as long as it was accurate. Noel finally saw the gate before him as he began swirling around and then once he reached the gate he stopped and spun around to look in the direction he went before flying up as high as he could to get a look at what could be seen from there.

He noticed that he could pick out a few more things near to where the other small outposts were and decided to fly back to there in order to chart those two new outposts he spotted. However to do that he needed to go there in order to gauge the distance as he felt a bit tired, but kept his focus. He had to work hard for the village and to make the Kazekage proud as well as for himself as well.

He flew passed the outpost and then from outpost to outpost he kept flying back and forth repeatedly since he wanted to make it a bit more accurate, as he started looking like a bird circling the sky as he finally figured out what he needed to do as he landed again. He then slid down the outpost as the sand went poof as he walked from outpost to outpost as he tucked in his wings as he took note of the time since his flight had too much range it covered he needed to count steps instead. After he was done with the steps he found an open space and marked it then took flight for a short distance then walked back and counted the steps. After doing that he realised how many steps he used and made a rough mark on the map and finally got their two locations before flying back with the map feeling satisfied as he handed it in to the mission board.
