Sanosuke walked upwards the mountain's ledge that was usually taken in order to reach the administration office building of the Raikage. He looked past the building of the Raikage to see a giant tree that resembled that of a cherry blossom tree but instead of sakura colored leaves the tree's leaves were blood red. It gave a menacing look to tree itself, there were matching spiky red fruit hanging from its branches as well. To the normal eye of a shinobi, the fruits from the distance he was at which was approximately 200 yards away from the tree, the fruits would be invisible. But to him the fruits were easy to spot for some reason.

Sanosuke took a turn alongside the trail and soon, the path he was on was making a drastic incline upwards. The incline was so drastic that he felt himself crawling half the time up the path in order for him not to fall over on his back. Once the incline was over, he was looking at the tree. It was tall and wide, the trunk was 3 feet wide and looked as thought the tree was several stories high in the sky. Sanosuke looked up at the tree in awe at the Durian Tree of knowledge that was before him. It held such a heavy weight of responsibility, it was a bit hard for him to breath before he composed himself.

He heard that this same tree took in all the evil in the village of Kumogakure, in fact he felt the evil from the tree was igniting the evil feeling inside his left eye that he tried his best to surpress. His left eye throbbed in pain as he continue to look at the tree. Sanosuke clenched his teeth in pain as he held his eye. With his free hand, he got a kunai from his hostler on his hip and used it as a mirror for his face. His left eye's pupil changed to that a weird but awkward symbol of the Akumasureiyā clan.

"Damn this eye, it's caused me nothing but trouble" Sanosuke grunted as he took deep breaths in order to calm down the evil prescene he felt invading his left eye. When he finally felt the presence leave, he looked into his kunai for his reflection. His pupil was back to normal.

Sanosuke looked up at the tree that hung from sky. The tree was unnaturally tall, it held red fruits that were as big as apples. It was as red as an apple as well, with many sharp looking red spikes that came from the fruit. Sanosuke reached up to one of the fruits that hung from the tree. He took one and brought it to his face.

For some reason, he felt a sudden case of calming in his body. Normally Sanosuke would have to focus and restrain his body from being influenced by the curse of the Akumasureiyā clan. If he didn't restrain his body, Sanosuke's left eye would flare up with the Akumasureiyā symbol and will lose control of his chakra system. But for some reason, just holding the fruit of the Durian Tree gave him a serene feeling in his mind. Sanosuke observed it, he wondered what it would taste like.

Sanosuke ripped off the spikes of the fruit one by one before taking a bite out the fruit. The sweet flavor he acquired the fruit filled his mouth with joy and flavor that it was though he was eating the escence of happieness itself. He felt his guard break on his mental state so the surge of demonic energy wouldn't be released. Instead it felt as though it was surpressed dramatically in the recesses in his mind.

It's so good, Sanosuke thought to himself as he began to finish his fruit he was eating in greedy bites. He wiped juice from his mouth with his sleeve once he was done.

Sanisuke looked at the sky from the mountain cliff of the Durian Tree. For once in his life he felt so peaceful, as though every mental barrier he had was taken down. He felt so much at peace that he almost shed tears of how peaceful he was. He no longer had to restrain his body so that his kekai genkai didn't run rampant.

Sanosuke looked at the fruit again, he was surprisingly full after eating that one fruit. If he wasn't so full then he would have eaten yet another one of the fruits. "Thank you, so very much. I'll come here again I promise" Sanosuke said before he walked down the trail of the mountain to get away from the Durian Tree.
