Sanosuke walked along the mountain trail of Sky Point. He continued walking up this mountain for training purposes. It was good practice for him to stay up on the mountain and travel as far as possible before he passes out due to the thin line of oxygen. If he could do this, then the amount of endurance he currently has when it comes to running will be easier. But the task itself was harder than it thought, the last time he tried this task he had passed out just as he approached the snow on the floor. This time he was prepared for him to go all the way to the top.

When he reached the snow on the floor, he was wheezing pretty hard. It was definitely getting harder now Sanosuke thought to himself as he pulled the hoodie over his head so he can at least protect his ears and back of his neck from the cold. He slid his hands in his overcoat for warmth, his hoodie covered up his eyes as well as he walked. A strong gust blew through the mountain trail and immediately he focused chakra into his feet so he wouldn't slide off the edge of the mountain. He was so close, he wasn't about to fall down when he was only a couple of yards away from the summit.

Sanosuke clenched his teeth and with a single pump of chakra from his feet, he made a leap towards the now visible summit. A gust of wind twisted his body as he was in mid air, tilting his body slightly against his will. The gust nearly blew him over the edge, but he clamped his right hand the ledge of the mountain tightly. He focused chakra into his finger tips that were holding him up. Come on man, you're almost there, you can do it Sanosuke mentally chanted to himself as he hoisted himself up.

He panted heavily as he stumbled onto the summit of Sky Point, he fell on his back as he fell to the ground, snow poofing around his body as he landed. As Sanosuke breathed he slowly laughed to himself in triumph, he did it. He finally climbed Sky Point.

"SUCK IT SKY POINT! I DID IT!" Sanosuke hoarsely yelled at the top of his voice as he laid on the summit floor.

Once Sanosuke got up from the snowy ground, he shook the snow that still clung onto his overcoat. He shook it off like he was a dog, once he was sure all of it was off he walked towards the edge of the mountain. Sanosuke looked down and noticed how fall of a drop it was until some damn fool hit the ground in a nasty splatter; about 50 stories if he put his ryo on it.

When he pulled his eyes away from the ground, he looked into the horizon at Sky Point. He has never climbed Sky Point before, this is the highest mountain he has climbed. The sight he saw was breathtakingly beautiful, the entire village was built on the crefices of mountains, but it was blessed with other mountainsx built around the village. It was as though a ninja used one gigantic ninjutsu to raise the mountains from the grounds themselves. Each mountain was touched with their own cloak of mist. Sanosuke was taken away by their beauty, it made him easily trace back into his mind.

He thought how peaceful his village was, Sanosuke was one of the very few shinobi that was left in Kumogakure. It was so pleasingly quiet that he could just spend hours meditating in just about any place in the village without any disruptions from fellow shinobi. Sanosuke thought about the chunin exams that took place in Konoha, specifically Hao. The strongest Uchiha member left alive, the guy interrupted the Chunin exams and nearly killed the participants. To be honest the guy scared the shit out of him. If Sanosuke was there, he might've lost his nerve and choke under pressure.

A bird cawed in the distance as it flew across of the horizon of Kumogakure. Sanosuke smiled at the sight, he clenched his fist as he looked at his village from this point of view. If Hao somehow attacked his village as it is now, with him being the only shinobi active in Konoha, he would lay his life down on the line. He would fight Hao until his bones itself was reduced to ashes and spreaded across the different ninja villages. This village was his own and he wasn't going to let some Uchiha with an attitude turn Kumogakure into ash like Kirigakure.

Sanosuke looked into the sky "Hao I may be weaker than you but I'll fight you tooth and nail to protect my home" Sanosuke said proudly, he felt his kekkei genkai flare into his left eye to approve of his resolve. Usually he would renounce his kekai genkai because it was responsible for killing his father and causing him to be an outcast of his own home village.

But now Sanosuke will gladly accept his curse, he would get stronger so he may turn this curse into a blade that will pierce the armor of anyone who would dare touch Kumogakure, the village that accepted him regardless of his past with open arms.

Sanosuke looked into the summit of the mountain, the ind was blowing into his hair as he shivered slightly. For once he was perfectly fine, and content in his skin without feeling as though he was a stranger in his own body. Sanosuke looked so very peaceful, the apple he had eaten at the durian tree was delicious and made him feel like a new man.

The genin stretched out a yawn as he stood at the age of the summit. Sanosuke decided that it was now time for him to go to bed. He had a very eventful day and a good night's sleep would be right up his alley. Sanosuke took one last look at the summit, it was so beautiful up here, he decided that this would be his time to think when he's troubled. Sanosuke turned to the mountain trail and began his slow descent down the trail.
