Clan History: Little is known about the Zhang family, rather than that they are a small family that moved from a separate continent, one different from the Elemental Nations where the use of chakra wasn’t so common. Instead, the common practice was the channel this chakra through items, allowing them to better utilise its capabilities. The Zhang family was especially adept at this, being able to fine-tune their chakra control whenever they channeled their items’ in-built abilities, allowing them to gain an edge over other families. However, feared as this ability was, the Zhang family was forced to flee when allies turned on them in alarm that such a deadly skill would be used on them, and after perilous months of journeying did they finally find solace in the Elemental Continents, just a fraction of their family left.

Kekkei Genkai Description: Zhang family members can use items’ active abilities for -5 chakra cost, if applicable.

i want an additional active drawback. One that is relatively major. 10% ryo is not considered an active drawback.
