Seiji found it enjoyable running across the roof tops as the sun shown down upon him. He wasn't looking for anything in particular but he was hoping today would be somewhat eventful.

"Hard to know what the future holds so you have to be prepared for the weird." The words repeated themselves in his head. The same words his grandfather used to tell him all the time as he grew up. His father never got along with his grandfather and perhaps that is one reason Seiji always enjoyed talking to him so often.

Just as he jumped over the street he saw a new noodle cart being pushed along by a older gent. As soon as his feet hit the tiles of the next roof he jumped down to the street below. He hadn't had a good noodle bowl in some time so he quickly ran up to the cart.

"Hello Sir I wish to purchase one bowl of your fresh pork ramen."

The old man was a bit surprised with the customer running up so excitedly but he was happy to make a bowl for the young man.

he handed the old gent 5ryo for the bowl before taking his ramen roof top with him.

Seiji sat upon the roof top watching the village as he ate his noodles enjoying the flavors all the while. The day was still young even though it had just passed noon. It didn't appear that alot of people had been active like they would be most days. He imagined many of the shops were still opening up. He thought it strange that such a day would feel like it was just not getting started. For Seiji it was average to wake up at noon or even later but not the rest of the village.

A flock of birds flew by startling Seiji out of his day dream. He watched as they flew and seemed to dance in the sky. They came together at one time with a pattern akin to perhaps a kunai being thrown. Seiji took this as a good sign for the day ahead as he got closer to finishing his noodle lunch. Birds were always interesting to Seiji as they were the only truly free animals in his mind. Able to go anywhere at any time they choose. He had often wished to have such freedom and now as a Genin he feels much closer to such a freedom.

When he slurped up the last noodle Seiji set out to return the bowl to the nice old noodle man. He tucked the bowl inside his kimono and began to run south across the roof tops in the direction he last saw the cart going. As he crested the third room he spotted a cart, unsure if it was the noodle cart he simply continued to run toward it.

Once Seiji reached the older man and his noodle cart, Seiji found he was starting to feel tired. "Thank you very much again sir," Seiji said.

"My pleasure." Was the only response.

With a long yawn and a smile he handed over the bowl before bowing to show his appreciation for the meal. Seiji quickly made his way to a nice quiet place near the edge of town. His footsteps lighter then usual he jumped from the streets to the roof tops once again. The tiles clanking beneath his feet as he ran at full sprint toward the training grounds. As he came upon the training grounds he was pleasantly surprised to find them empty of other people. More times than not when he came here it felt like half the village was training that day.

"This truly is a good day for me!" Seiji exclaimed.

With a broad smile he found a nice high tree and chose a solid branch to rest upon. He laid there for awhile staring at the clouds rolling by. He was getting tired of being alone and he knew it but he didn't know how he was going to change that fact. It wasn't long before his eyes grew heavy and he drifted off to sleep.
