Maigo departed the scene after receiving confirmation from the Tsuchikage that he would train him, however their location was to change, taking up his things and preparing to set off. They would be meeting at his penthouse accomodations to finish up, Maigo simply took it as it went and didn't question anything. At least not for the time being, a bit of anxiety took him over as he headed out and the rest excitement, flickering off from that rooftop to the streets below before he realized that he didn't actually know where he was going. It would be some time before he would get word, one of the messengers from the mission office finding him walking about the streets a while later.

Within the message was his location, a hotel nearby and on the top floor penthouse, Maigo chuckled a bit. Accomodations worthy of a visiting Kage he imagined, thanking the messenger and heading off down the street. A short while had already passed, no reason to delay any further or keep the man waiting for him, a bit of a rude thing that never really struck Maigo before. And if it weren't for his notoriety a thought that probably wouldn't cross his mind at any point really. After he had his location he would stuff the note away in his pocket and jump up to a nearby rooftop and dash off in the direction of the hotel, or at least the direction he remembered. Perhaps a thing he should have questioned of the messenger but left it to his own memory as best he could, distinctly remembering the size of it and how it rose above the light mist of the village.

A short journey, just a few minutes as he burnt through the village at his top speed, finding the base of the hotel and staring up to it. He thought about scaling the wall to the top floor and bursting in that way, but that would mean probably breaking a window or something. And if he wasn't ready, it might be liable to get Maigo killed in the action of his little theatrics. No, definitely best to take the stairs or elevator and act like a normal person, if only this once.

Stuffing his hands in his pocket he lazily made his way to the bottom floor and inside, well lit and clean like he imagined the inside would be. Across the lobby he saw the elevators and headed straight to them without saying a word or looking around. His instinct to just hit the button to the top floor and leave it at that took over.

On the top floor he found himself exiting the elevator into a brightly lit hallway and a set of double doors at the end of it. Heading straight to them, given the grandeur of their design compared to the others, he would approach lightly and knock on the door heavily, "Yo, you here Mr. Tsuchikage, sir?" he would say audibly enough to be heard. Upon receiving word if he was there he would enter into the well designed and comfortable room, luxurious and stylish like the ones Aizou liked. It was a little beyond his tastes, lavish as it was, but she might certainly like the feel of the room.

Finding his way inside and hopefully the Tsuchikage within, he'd direct his attention and ask bluntly, "You ready to get started?"

Akira sat in his usual chair now as the sun set with the beer now gone as he sat watching the sunset. He was no longer the Tsuchikage at least to himself. Another had taken up that mantle and he was free of it. Still he worried for his students and those he cared for. He would keep tabs on them but Karumo was long gone by a couple hours now. His chair was facing a wall of windows on a risen section of the hardwood floor while that dropped off to more hardwood with living room furniture of the same white leather facing a large screen tv. A couch and two love seats with a green glass table in the middle on top a white carpet. A theme there. Off to one side was a kitchen with a fridge and all the appliances that could be used with it with a stand alone counter. The bathroom was down a hall the other way with a section set aside for a laundry machine and a walk in shower. He prefered baths but hadn't cared to go and have one brought up for him. As for the laundry machines all his clothes were dry clean only so that was of little use to him. Nor did he have the energy to do any laundry right now anyway. Something so mundane would only give him more time to think of what he just left behind. He needed a distraction.

He himself was sitting there in a pair of slacks with black socks on but no shoes. Left those in the shoe rack by the door. He had on a white button up shirt unbottoned halfway down the chest but with the sleeves rolled up. An expensive looking watch rested on his right wrist and for some reason tinted reading glasses sat on the bridge of his nose as he scanned the sunset for some comfort. It was beautiful seeing it above the clouds as it seemed to sink into them like a great grey sea. It was a beautiful thing for being above clouds that hung so low. It reminded him of the mountains of Iwagakure. And the peaks he may never visit again. Some part of him hoped Harichimo would at least come visit him again. Come see his old master and perhaps not hate him. Perhaps still love him as Karumo had. However Akira doubted that. After all he had lied and taken the clan name of his would be prize students clan. The dishonor of that would be massive. Perhaps Harichimo would hate him for that. All the honor Akira had brought to that clan torn asunder and that would fall on Harichimo's shoulders. He could only hope Karumo would help him through that. That was assuming Fukai didn't come after him with an army.

Still his attention would adjust to the elevator moving to his floor. Odd that someone would come the same day as his betrayel was revealed. He could feel it wasn't Karumo but he was not entirely sure whom it might be. Quietly he folded his reading glasses he wasn't really using and set them on the side table next to him before moving away from any direct path in front of the door. If someone was coming for him standing or sitting there was a sure way to get blasted. He was better off standing to the side in the kitchen. Still he pulled a chilled bottle of some dark liquour without a label from the fridge and began to pour himself a double shot into a crystal glass before setting down the bottle. His ears listening to the foot steps approaching before a knock on the door. He would drink the double shot at the sound of his previous title being called out as he recognized the voice. A ping of pain from it but that was fine. Maigo would prove a fine distraction. Still it seemed an odd mixture of respect and slang. Either way he would snap his fingers and the doors would open before closing behind Maigo as he was approached again. His own eyes looking to Maigos before he poured another shot and reached for a second glass.

"Please. Akira is fine for now. As for being ready the distraction would be lovely. Would you like a cold drink Maigo or perhaps you simply wish for work and no play?"

A quiet snap and the doors flickered open before him and revealing the room, Maigo looked around and admired its facets. It was certainly nice like no other room he'd been in, other than Aizou's fancy hotel reservations and such, but continually a bit fancier than he'd ever care for. He entered in, the doors closing creepily behind him, as if on cue from some invisible force. He ignored the notion for the time as he entered in and continued to look around in a single sweep before fixing his eyes on the Tsuchikage, pouring a drink for himself and grabbing a second glass. "Please. Akira is fine for now. As for being ready the distraction would be lovely. Would you like a cold drink Maigo or perhaps you simply wish for work and no play? Maigo slide off his sandals and pushed them next to the door with his foot, taking off his katana and propping it next to the door as well. He didn't think he'd need it and he didn't want to be rude and muck up the floor with his shoes.

Taking a step forward into the room he nodded and spoke up, "Yeah, I'll take a drink as well I suppose, I've got no where important to be..." he spoke, thinking about the way he said it. It was either very formal or it was a bit creepy, actually the way Maigo would peg it, both scenarios were weird. He made his way across the room to join him in the kitchen area and take his drink and all, or to head over there and be relocated to a different part of the room if he so chose. He was ready whenever Lord T-- Akira would be ready. He wanted to chime in about genjutsu maybe ask a question to warm up to the subject, everything seemed a bit... gloomy? Would be the word for it.

Maigo would take a seat at the bar or table or wherever to accept his drink or, another part of the room if he so recommended. A bit of curiosity struck over him, and what better way to lead into their training than going ahead and asking into it, "So, uhhh, Akira sir." calling him by his name was a bit weird, it seemed so... out of place but he continued on, "What is Iwagakure like? I mean, it's gotta be very different than here. I'd imagine that everyone there is good with things like Taijutsu and Doton jutsu even more so, at least those are the rumors and obvious connections..." he paused, hoping that his statements would reverberate a little and catch his attention. "If I remember correctly, you said you know a little genjutsu yourself. But are there other prominent users where you're from?" he would pause and give him a chance to mull it over and respond if he wished to do so.

When the time for work came around though, Maigo would start simple and hopefully work up to the bigger parts, "So, what do you know of genjutsu and all? Are you fresh to the skill as a whole or do you have any prior knowledge at all?" Maigo wondered. It was best to get a feel for what he knew and didn't know, then Maigo could go in and fill in the gaps or expand wherever need be. Being the Tsuchikage, he knew that he probably wasn't one to waste time by back tracking over territory that might be common knowledge or that he might already knew. Besides, Maigo hoped to spend most of his time teaching through example rather than calling out definitions and concepts like he were just some textbook...

"Yeah, I'll take a drink as well I suppose, I've got no where important to be..."

Akira smiled as he figured he was glad for the company anyway. The lights automatically flicked on as the time clicked to the top of the hour that was scheduled for dusk to set in. He could operate them manually but for now they turned themselves on and off at certain times based on light that should be available. He wondered idly if the people below the mist and within it could see the light so high above it all. See someone was up and moving about up there. He figured at best it would be little more than moving shadows to them. A decent place to study and train so long as he didn't go overboard he supposed. It was quiet and near impossible to be spied on short of surveilance equipment snuck into his apartment. He was confident that if there had been though he could of detected it during his meditations. He turned off everything to eliminate the hum of electricity when he did so that he could focus. Any devices still running he would of heard he was sure of it. Still he would pour the young man a healthy helping of the drink and slide it over to him as he sat down at the counter on a bar stool. Listening as he spoke again.

"So, uhhh, Akira sir. What is Iwagakure like? I mean, it's gotta be very different than here. I'd imagine that everyone there is good with things like Taijutsu and Doton jutsu even more so, at least those are the rumors and obvious connections...If I remember correctly, you said you know a little genjutsu yourself. But are there other prominent users where you're from?"

Akira would chuckle openly at that before he would sip his own drink and lean forward resting his elbows on the bar/counter and leaning on them. His eyes studying the young man as he would speak in such a way that was like a silver tongue soothing the soul. Warm and comforting like silk on the ears and so easy to be lulled into. If Akira was going to be better at any specific triggers it would be his voice. It was already just as mesmerizing as his eyes which felt like they saw and knew everything. Like nothing could hide from him.

"Well Iwa is certainly colder due to the elevation. Mountain ranges tend to hold snow longer then other places but the reason it breeds taijutsu users and doton users is for two simple reasons. First is when you are surrounded by rocks constantly you eventually learn to do something with them if only for a change of scenery. Mastery of it allows for more than most could imagine. Its a terrain altering ability and can change the face of maps just as easily as suiton. As for taijutsu. A lot of what enhances hand to hand combat is practicing breathing methods. With the thinner air up there Iwagakure shinobi are naturally skilled at this as without realizing it they are practicing breathing exercises from birth. Taijutsu is simply one of the natural paths to take with that. As for Genjutsu its not a very prominent ability in the world. Not many people utilize it in Iwagakure as they are very straight forward. Those who do are a little more reclusive. I actually learned the skill from a sannin from Kumo...once upon a time."

Akira would let him process that and drink his own glass empty as he sipped and would listen to any response Maigo might have for the moment before Maigo spoke once more. It was time to get down to business it seemed. Still he watched and listened respectfully as Maigo spoke. Interested in learning regardless of rank difference. "So, what do you know of genjutsu and all? Are you fresh to the skill as a whole or do you have any prior knowledge at all?" An interesting question but certainly a good one. Worded in the way the youthful shinobi liked to talk of course but clearly where they should start. Akira would hold up the hand without the glass in it and watch it as his chakra became visible as almost a faint gold mist around it before shifting and turning into a yellow color like a sickness.

"I know that one focuses their chakra into a trigger with a purpose to it. The only way to capture someone within a genjutsu is with the trigger. A trigger can be anything from visual, hearing, breathing and touch as a few examples. The chakra we focus into the trigger is corruptive in nature and an infection that infects the chakra system of the victim when caught in it. Genjutsu do not actually damage or kill anyone but what the brain believes happens if it truly believes the body believes too. If they feel their brain being pierced and their mind is convinced they are dead I am sure they can lose conciousness from the shock. However my training up until now has been perfecting medical and taijutsu. I am yet to train a single genjutsu as of yet but I practice manipulating my chakra to be infective frequently to keep my skill in it up."

Iwagakure no Sato seemed like an interesting enough place, Maigo sipped at his drink as he listened. His interest piqued though, upon his comments of genjutsu, and how it's not very prominent. Maigo could agree, there were fewer people he knew in Kirigakure that used it than he had fingers to count with. He wondered for a short moment what he meant by a little more reclusive, but his attention was quickly drawn away by his bit about a Sannin from Kumogakure teaching him a long time ago. It was certainly interesting... Maigo had a long way from being at Sannin level, even to reach Jounin he still had some work to do. But rather than give him further motivation towards a goal, all he could think about was how he still wasn't the best with Genjutsu yet, maybe in the village, but as for the entirety of the shinobi world. He probably still had quite a ways to go.

Maigo had nothing really else to add there, instead they moved on to the business side of things, Maigo further nursing his bit of drink as time went on. He'd never truly learned to enjoy a strong drink of any kind, finding most of the flavors to be poor like that of beer and the burn of heavier alcohols not all that enticing. He went on to listen to his explanation of it all though, infecting a chakra system was certainly a good way of putting it though and he seemed to know enough about it all, which meant that Maigo could skip the basics and go into the heavier details of it all. "Right, it seems you have the fundamentals to everything, so we can begin with some basic genjutsu that everyone should probably know."

He spoke and exhaled a bit, then standing up and stepping back from the bar a bit. "Since genjutsu creation is where we lack, I'll teach through example and show off from there." he said with a bit of a chuckle. "The first part of genjutsu is handsigns, and this one is simple." Maigo weaved the signs slowly and spoke their names as he did so, Bird-> Ox-> Dog, and then continued on. "The trigger for this genjutsu is merely a line of sight trigger." he would speak as he should begin to fade from Akira's view slowly if he as watching him through. "I find that visual triggers lead to better visual genjutsu and so forth with sound and touch and each sense respectively. However, you can just as easily torment more than one sense in a single genjutsu as well. For this one though, it's rather basic and isn't hard to see through, but it just makes the user appear invisible to the victim." he would continue on, giving Akira a chance to ask questions or try it out for himself if he wanted to.

With the first one out of the way, Maigo would take another sip of his drink, and break the genjutsu himself if Akira hadn't already. Mentally preparing for the next few genjutsu as well after all was said and done.

Akira would calmly lean back and watch Maigo for the moment. He nursed his drink as if he didn't care for it. Perhaps he had thought it would be rude to deny such a thing when offered from someone like Akira. Breifly he considered what else he could get the youngling to drink while he had him there and if he could get him drunk enough to reveal the really good stuff. His mind drifted to making a specialty order to be delivered from the Myugan in Suna but for now he wasn't interested in having to heal his liver and the liver of anyone who spent the night. There was no making it to the elevator if one sipped from the clans special brew. That was if they would even sell it to him. It may just be an in clan brew and they might only be willing to sell the shelf brand. Still potent but not nearly the same thing. The difference between smirnoff ice and Everclear. There was simply no comparison. For now though he would cross his arms and accept that he was not getting the genjutsu master drunk enough to give him everything. Not this time anyway.

Still his eyebrow would rise as Maigo agreed he was beyond the basics. They were already planning to move passed theory and into practice it would appear. Still Akira remained stationary leaning back against the kitchen counter with his arms across his chest comfortably as he listened to the instructions. He wasn't a huge fan of hand signs but he knew they were essentially writing out a jutsu with the proper application of chakra. In a way similar to sealing but minus the remaining figures afterwards. However he had never been a fan of hand signs. It was like announcing to your opponent you were up to something. At the same time it could come to his advantage. If his opponent thought he only used hand signs with genjutsu they might grow paranoid even if he faked it. A paranoid opponent quickly became one that was off balance mentally. The mere present possibility of Genjutsu could shift the fight if he was careful enough. Still his eyes would blink and then realize that Maigo had begun to fade a little. He knew that most would barely see the outline of the boy at genin or chunnin level at best but to Akira it was common. He even kept eye contact with the young man until it broke. It was then that he would speak up.

"While that one is fairly useful. While I give that a try though I would like to know something more. You implied hand signs were required. Is there a way to reflexively activate genjutsu? The less I advertise what I am doing to an opponent I am trying to trick the better. I suppose if I wanted an example, could I simply make the sound of a snap a trigger by focusing my infectious chakra in those two fingers? Or can I infect them with a touch when say I block one of their attacks? Either would be increasingly useful."

As Akira would listen to the retort he would glance down at his own hands before going over how each sign moved from memory and what each was called. Practicing them without chakra slowly at first and building up pace....Bird-> Ox-> Dog,,,,,,,,,,,,Bird-> Ox-> Dog, and so on until he was making rapid and almost impossible to follow hand movements. Simple bursts of blur as he quickly mastered those signs. At his level of experience picking up on new things was simple yet needed practice to perfect. It was obvious the speed of the hand signs was not as fast as he could move or even Maigo might not be able to even see the signs. Occassionally he messed up but less and less as he practiced until finally he focused just a little chakra into it. If Maigo was watching he would see Akira fade from sight as he had for a breif moment before the genjutsu broke. Akira would take a deep breath as he felt the jutsu latch on before fading until it snapped away. He knew he could maintain it with practice but now was just learning. He would have time to master the jutsu later. Still he smiled and rubbed the back of his own neck glancing at Maigo.

"You had another one in mind?"

His jutsu displayed, he listened into Akira's question, a rather intuitive one at that. Thinking on his words as he spoke and formulating his own response, to build on the triggers, it was rather perceptive but what else could Maigo expect form a Kage. Of course he was looking ahead and to developing bigger and better jutsu, ones with unique trigger and stimulated affects. Maigo smiled a bit as he prepared himself, "Of course, as far as I know, genjutsu is only limited by your imagination. And as long as your trigger is able to disrupt and change the flow of chakra of your victim, then anything could work." Maigo mused on, another thought of exemplifying a skill of his sharingan to replace a trigger. A jutsu he had recently learned but hadn't really practiced out, and for now, while he was teaching, it would probably be better not to skip any steps.

All the while Maigo gave his reply, he watched Akira run through handsigns with ferocious speed, going from slow to almost beyond recognition in no time at all. "There are some genjutsu that don't require a sign at all actually, sound works as a great trigger, but it usually takes hand signs to mold the chakra for a normal person. However, more skilled users can bypass that through a variety of means..." Maigo continued on as he grew faster and faster, small mistakes didn't even cause hesitation as he began to practice it. It wouldn't even be moments later before he began to fade from view, quite excellent in terms of applied understanding. Maigo smiled at the sight, it was certainly unique to see his jutsu being used in another's hands.

"You had another one in mind?" he rubbed the back of his neck, Maigo returned the smile, "Plenty more..." he led on. For the rest of his examples though, he would speed things up a bit, going into the details on each jutsu but focusing less on the triggers. With the hand signs and base information, even genin would be able to figure out the chakra ratios and such to cast them, so for Akira it would be little more than a moot point for each of them. One at a time though, and pausing for potential questions or clarification if necessary, he would begin by covering the first of the three jutsu he had planned for his back to back commencements.

First off, would be another simple genjutsu in a similar style of the first, "This one, I call Free-fall. It's trigger is simple a few hand signs, and then forcing your opponent off the ground. It'll make their way back down seem to never end, trapped in that existential moment of crisis." he slowly weaved through the signs needed as he spoke. Bird-> Ox-> Monkey-> Hare. If he wanted to test it out, Maigo would happily oblige if need be, otherwise he would leave the example off there and give the chakra moulding for him to practice at his whim if he wanted.

After the first jutsu had been covered, and questions or clarifications... clarified, Maigo would move onto the next jutsu. One that relied more on a unique trigger than simply eye contact, "This one, I like to refer to as Delayed Destruction. Great for causing a scene and disrupting your opponent. No one caught in this jutsu will ever escape its affect until it's too late and if you're good enough on the deception, then they'll have no reason to suspect otherwise." he continued on and explained how it created the sensation of being stabbed in the back, after a short delay. Sure it had its fault of disrupting their chakra, so those sensory jutsu that could tell the distortions may avoid it, but there was never anything before the affect to hint at it. He showed him the handsigns, and defined it's range. Rat-> Horse-> Ram. Simple and quick signs that could be cast in succession easily, but it was the words that would truly trigger the jutsu. Delay... or Faith. Upon hearing their sound, they would fall prey to its affect. He'd test it out if Akira wanted to, otherwise he would leave the show open to his questions or testing it out for himself, just like with the previous jutsu before moving on.

After the second jutsu would be covered, it would be time to move onto something a bit more... practiced for Maigo. And with an often devastating affect for the weak minded and weak willed. "The next jutsu is called the Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique. As it's name suggests, this jutsu exemplifies the true power of twisting a victims mind against themselves and its ability to torture their conscious. All the jutsu up to now have merely been using their minds to create illusions and play tricks on them. But this one, grasps deep into their memory and conscious and pulls out their fear to display it before them. It's rather obvious as a genjutsu, but those who aren't ready to face themselves can be so stunned by the sight that it's often difficult for them to grasp the vision." he went forward to begin to explain the jutsu. A trigger like the first, just having them in vision and forming a single sign, that of the Rat, and then using it to disrupt their chakra. He went into detail of the environment helping masquerade the change in environment before their worst fears would be displayed and paraded in front of them.

Maigo would leave it off there, giving him a chance to test it if he so wanted to, but unlike the others, Maigo would probably activate his sharingan to ignore the affects of it if it came to it. Regardless, he would leave the floor open for Akira to ask any questions or request clarification if need be, before heading onto his last jutsu that might be useful to know.

"Of course, as far as I know, genjutsu is only limited by your imagination. And as long as your trigger is able to disrupt and change the flow of chakra of your victim, then anything could work."

Akira would nod slowly at this as he listened. It was a simple thing to figure out really but so simple it was hard to believe it was as rare as it was. Essentially one was infecting another with an idea. What the controller thought and decided to make reality through chakra touching anothers chakra in a way. While it was just illusions it felt like reaching out and touching the power of a god. After all it wasn't often that one could bend the world to their whims. Nor was it often they grasped out to do so. So many people were content to just sit at home and go about day to day lives. Those who strived for power were different. They had a drive burning in them that refused to let them rest. He had let his own smolder for too long as he ruled over Iwagakure but now he was free of that. His fight with Ayakashi had inspired him and it burned as hot as it ever had. He had to master this just like he had taijutsu and medical. He would dominate the world if he had to do so bleeding and screaming through training.

"There are some genjutsu that don't require a sign at all actually, sound works as a great trigger, but it usually takes hand signs to mold the chakra for a normal person. However, more skilled users can bypass that through a variety of means..."

So with practice he could get better. Already he was fading away with a genjutsu that felt simple enough. Still he wasn't wrong in stating that hand signs were a good trigger. They drew the eye in a fight and anyone with Ninjutsu would probably be looking for them to predict what the enemy was going to use. Few had mastered enough jutsu to be able to accurately predict and defend but many would try. That and movement drew the eyes anyway. A visual trigger was nice for the first couple of times until they knew to look out for it. Still as he asked about more jutsu the response was one he had hoped for. "Plenty more..." Was all he said for a moment as Akira smiled and popped his knuckles ready to train more and putting what he had just learned to memory. Storing it there for later.

"This one, I call Free-fall. It's trigger is simple a few hand signs, and then forcing your opponent off the ground. It'll make their way back down seem to never end, trapped in that existential moment of crisis."

This time more hand signs were involved but he understood they couldn't move to quickly to the advanced lessons just yet. This was beginner shit and skipping that could be fatal to anyone who thought to highly of themselves and didn't understand the basics well enough. Still as he practiced the hand signs in order over and over it was like learning a new language that had abilities. One less spoken and more moved. Still it was interesting that they had one that had two requirements. Bird-> Ox-> Monkey-> Hare, Pause, Bird-> Ox-> Monkey-> Hare and again before it sped up and became a blur. For now not focusing chakra as jumping up and down seemed childish in practice. Still he would speak up for the first time in a minute as he continued practicing. Bird-> Ox-> Monkey-> Hare.

"I understand they have to be falling for this to work but it seems obvious...if one is forever falling that is not normal. If one comes up they must come down. Not only do I wonder if this one is too easy to break out of but what happens to them? Is it designed to screw up their landing? As a Taijutsu specialist footing means a lot but how long does this last outside their mind? I hope it at least gives an opening."

He would listen to the answer for a moment before finishing practicing the hand signs. All of this was something he might test out the next time he trained a genin so he could get a small amount of battle experience with it. Still his gaze would shift to Maigo as he continued speaking again. "This one, I like to refer to as Delayed Destruction. Great for causing a scene and disrupting your opponent. No one caught in this jutsu will ever escape its affect until it's too late and if you're good enough on the deception, then they'll have no reason to suspect otherwise." Oh now this one he could follow easier. Even as Maigo continued on to describe exactly what it was the jutsu did and showed him the hand signs Akira began to practice those quicker as this one interested him. He had his own delayed Taijutsu which was perfect for creating an opening. Having a genjutsu that did much the same thing was going to go nicely with him. Rat-> Horse-> Ram and Delay or Faith. Shit talking was a great thing in battle and all too common so if the opponent kept dialogue going with Akira no one would see the jutsu coming. He could aways hide hand signs since the didn't need to be seen this time.

It's rather obvious as a genjutsu, but those who aren't ready to face themselves can be so stunned by the sight that it's often difficult for them to grasp the vision." Maigo would continue as Akira didn't wish to test it out or really have a question about it. He saw the purpose and usefulness of it this time no questions asked. Still this one was interesting as it turned the enemies own paranioa and deepest fears locked within their imagination against them. It may be something easy to detect but not many could walk away from that without therapy. Not to mention a calm mind did better in combat. With the sign of the rat being the only requirement it was dangerous. Still Akira would let the rat sign fall as he would raise an eyebrow before locking eyes with Maigo. His interest switched to caution.

"The Sharingan....You neglected to mention you had tapped into that power. Are you of the bloodline yourself or is an Uchiha dead somewhere? Either way I now feel I understand you a little more. One of my students had the Sharingan and he feared it. It was potent but people were afraid of the history of that clan. Its ancestors and their misdeeds. Tell me Maigo....do you activate those because you fear what the hell viewing technique may show you or because you know it will likely involve that power of yours?"

Maigo gave a short retort to the free fall question, "You're right, it is rather obvious, but it's example is more to show how genjutsu can affect a persons equilibria and give them false sensations of things like falling. To the person falling that bit of existential dread of falling a huge distance, that sinking pit in their stomach remains and as they fall, it only gets worse and worse until the genjutsu is broken. So in terms of creating sn opportunity, you'll have as long as it takes them to realize the sensation isn't stopping and breaking out of it, whether that be something simple as Kai or something more extreme like stabbing themselves..." Maigo continued on and hopefully clarified enough with that short answer.

The examples continued on, smoothly through each explanation and example, with fewer road bumps than started out. Maigo activated his sharingan as they began to test the Hell Viewing technique though, worry over some issues, and it was obvious to Akira, almost a surprise. Wondering about his eyes and telling him of a student of his that had a sharingan as well. Maigo was a bit stunned, that the Uchiha clan extended all the way to Iwagakure no Sato as well was a bit surprising, but then again, he ended up in Kirigakure somehow so not totally unreasonable. Maigo chuckled a bit and rubbed the back of his neck as he let the eyes fade away,

"Well, of course I fear what I fear..." he laughed a bit trying to diffuse the situation, he hadn't meant to cause as much of a scene with it as it did. "I'm not entirely sure what you mean by invoking the power and all, but I'm of the bloodline, though I only discovered that a couple years ago when I started training and all. Before then I had no idea, so I really don't know much about the clan or the eyes ability other than what I've found out myself..." he continued on to offer some answers for his curiosity for the time. Assuming that he would accept his answer for the time, Maigo would take another sip of his drink. More than a sip, downing the last of it in one gulp, a bit of liquid courage to finish off his adventure.

After all was said and done there was one more jutsu that he would pass on, a bit more advanced in terms of chakra usage but with some utility as well. Maigo continued on in the same style as the others, explaining it's use to cover things up in a visual sense at a small or large scale if need be. Maigo weaved together three hand signs and began to offer his small lecture, displaying the jutsu for him, "Often times the handsigns will vary for this technique but it focuses on the same principles of changing the persons vision to create an illusion and change what the surroundings are, hence the name, False Surroundings Technique." he continued on as he made both of their glasses appear full again, as if no one had taken a drink from them. Maigo felt that Akira would be able to figure out the hand sign bit easily given his potency and his abilities, and with a bit of practice, it would become second nature to him.

When everything would be said and done, Maigo would thank him, assuming that there weren't any more questions or curiosities to cover. At least, Maigo would set aside his own for the time and prepare to make his departure, it was rather late and he didn't want to keep him any longer. "Well, if that's everything, I think I'll be on my way then..." Maigo spoke calmly and prepared to gather his things. At the call that everything was covered, he would gather his equipment and head out of the room back for his home. After all, he didn't think that Akira would be leaving anytime soon, so he could always find him again down the road and annoy him with other questions some time down the road if it ever came to it.

So in terms of creating sn opportunity, you'll have as long as it takes them to realize the sensation isn't stopping and breaking out of it, whether that be something simple as Kai or something more extreme like stabbing themselves..." That by itself was useful indeed. Once you reached a certain height in life fights were decided in under a second when an opening occured. Being able to create an opening even if only for that split second such as causing them to lose footing entirely or simply be caught off guard by it was highly benificial. It was simplistic and at a high enough level breaking out of it was a simple thing once it was recognized but it may be hard to recognize it before your feet actually touch the ground in reality.  A frightening ability that he was sure he could find use for. Still he watched Maigo as he chuckled and let his eyes fade away back to their original dark color and listened as he spoke again.

"Well, of course I fear what I fear..." The laugh after stating the obvious was awkward and met with a raised eye brow and silence as it filled the room. Akira would wait patiently for Maigo to continue on and answer him with more then a deflection. "I'm not entirely sure what you mean by invoking the power and all, but I'm of the bloodline, though I only discovered that a couple years ago when I started training and all. Before then I had no idea, so I really don't know much about the clan or the eyes ability other than what I've found out myself..." Oh well that was a pity for the young man. At least those raised with the knowledge of what they were when it came to Uchiha could steel themselves for what was to come their way. There were far too many in the world that loved to see power evolve. If they could do that simply by causing another agony they usually didn't hesitate. The fact that he had unlocked it though led Akira to believe he had suffered already at some point in his life. As for the power it held anyone with a history text book could find out what he meant. Still it was time to move on. Akira had remained quiet with a mere nod as he absorbed all of it and remembered every step in his mind.

Still Maigo tossed back the last of the liquid in his glass like it was water and prepared to move onto the final lesson of the night. It was a very advanced pace for anyone to follow and yet they were managing. He set his glass back down on the counter as Akira noted they were both empty but would wait until Maigo would ask for more before pouring it. Instead Maigo made three hand signs and spoke up once more. This time displaying the genjutsu with a little more effort. "Often times the handsigns will vary for this technique but it focuses on the same principles of changing the persons vision to create an illusion and change what the surroundings are, hence the name, False Surroundings Technique." With that said Akira would note that in a blink the empty cups had been revealed. It was subtle as he had began his understanding with the fact that a good genjutsu always was. For the demonstration it had filled a glass or two but in reality it came back to footing and placement again. Forcing the enemy to step wrong or avoid something that wasn't there simply provided an opening again. Still Maigo would rise from his seat and thank Akira which brought Akira to his standing position with a slight bow of his head too."Well, if that's everything, I think I'll be on my way then..."

Akira would smile and walk him to the door as he collected his things as he held it open for him. He would wish him good night and mention looking forward to doing it again sometime before he would close the door behind Maigo as he left. Only then would he blow a high level of Kai to make sure he was alone and no longer under the effect of anything. Confident in that he moved back to the kitchen and collected a writing pad and a pen as well as a glass he refilled. Drinking it as he wrote down notes on the days lesson. Careful not to forget anything.
