Mission:

Nozomi

Nozomi

D-rank
Nozomi had gotten fully armed and strapped up for this mission. She knew that it would be one of potential danger and was glad that she didn't have to go it alone. Although, for most people, her armament would be more than enough to suffice. Nozomi had so much deadly equipment on her that it was almost excessive. Between her senbon, kunai, and shuriken, she had more than enough disposable weapons that she could make anyone look like a pincushion by the time she was done launching them. Of course, those were standard weapons of a shinobi, she just happened to carry more than the standard. In addition, she had her Windmill Shuriken strapped to her hip, with an easy release clasp for quick grabbing, which tended to be important in the middle of combat. It stood to reason though, that Nozomi tended to use that weapon first, as it was her main apparatus to use with the substitution jutsu. She also had a myriad of metsubishi and mikibishi, to blind and trip up her enemies. Those were lesser used, but they could still prove to be important considering the enemy had wolves and superior numbers. She had on her best Flak Jacket, just in case, and her three tanto were of course in their usual position, the twin tanto's strapped to the small of her back horizontally, and her best tanto vertically strapped over her shoulder. Her headband in its usual position as well. The combination of weapons and armor always gave the innocent looking girl an interesting look, as she knew her way around a battle field, and it was evident, but to look at her face and small frame, one might be thrown off.

She honestly had no clue as to who her partner in this mission was going to be, but she hoped that she didn't end up just being a nuisance and holding him back. After all, it was someone higher ranked than she was herself. She didn't know his skill set, weaponry, or really anything. Whether he was a good team fighter, or better individualistic fighter. The young blonde figured that in the end it didn't matter. This was a mission that she was prepared to do alone if she had to, and she'd fought worse odds before. She had plenty she could do, as her skills with the Clan jutsu were improved markedly, and it was a lethal weapon in combat now. Additionally she had her clones, and could easily dispatch the animals. Given enough time, Nozomi could lay traps and set up choke points to fall back to, forcing the enemy to come at her and fight them individually if she needed to. She had a myriad of jutsu she could use, and just as many weapons. Sure, the targets were higher ranked Nukenin, but the files showed the were very physical fighters, and according to the data, didn't actually utilize jutsu other than a healing factor. The Himitsu clan was specialized in taking down close range fighters, and Nozomi had an added benefit of being a Bukijutsu utilizer, so she knew a bit on how to combat it as well using weapons instead of her hands, although her taijutsu was leagues better admittedly. But it would be very taxxing on her, and she was glad that she didn't have to. But for now, all she could do was wait for her partner to show up, and then follow his lead on this.

The Special Jounin waited eagerly for her partner to arrive though, glancing up every now and then, and keeping an eye and an ear out for him. She hadn't entered the Nukenin Graveyard yet, as she wouldn't be attacked as long as she wasn't trespassing, and was far enough away from it that she wouldn't have been detected by them. She knew better than to tip a target off and hang around the area too closely. It was shinobi 101, basic things not to do. That had been drilled into her at a young age. So for now, all she could do was wait. As far as she knew, her partner knew her description and name, so she wasn't making an attempt to hide at all, so that it would make it more difficult for him to find her. Nozomi had been on too many missions with Sero, admittedly. Most ninja would probably meet up in the village and head out together, but Nozomi was more used to meeting up with someone at an arbitrary time nearer the objective. It was just how their team had operated. Despite calling themselves a team, they had been very much individuals, which meant while their team work was somewhat lacking, as individual fighters, they were superior to their peers. It was what allowed the young Special Jounin to keep up in combat with those who were technically superior to her.

Sero's Manor was impossibly vile. She had been given that as a place to stay, plus it helped her guise as an Osada, however it was just nasty. Mitsu, being the clean freak she was immediately set to work making it a bit more... homely. tidying up what needed to be tidied up, setting to work on some of the broken parts of the house, however she still hadn't gotten much accomplished. she had most just done her room. What was, at the moment, by far the cleanest place in the residence, but Mitsu didn't have time for that today. She had officially been assigned her first mission as a Kirigakure Shinobi, and as Osada Mitsu. That being said she was currently standing in front of the mirror in her ANBU attire wit her hair in a rather long ponytail, and with her new katana in it's sheath on her back, meant to be puled out in reverse grip. She had chosen a ponytail because it was't a style Kaekio wore. Ever. As well, she decided against using her twin blades. While sero had changed their appearance, it was something she was all too used to, an all too familiar to her old person. She unsheathed her new blade a bit, a black handle and the blade in no light looked blade, however where light to shine upon it a crimson red would be seen. Sero had informed her that Osada typically went with gray everything as it helped them become monsters of the mist. However, Mitsu wanted something different, and plus she was meant to be a failed Osada. She put the sword but in it's sheathe, and then put on her ANBU mask. that of a dog, paired with Mitsu's ANBU name the message was clear. She was to remain loyal to Kiri, and she was now a dog of their command. Not that she minded, She was fine with it.

Once she had her ANBU mask on, She put on her Osada cloak, and pulled the hood up. although not thinking she then had to put her sword on the outside of her cloak, but the misstep only took a few moment to correct. Mitsu then finally put her Kirigakure Headband around her waist. As Kaekio she would have put it around her neck, but again, new identity she needed to change things up a little bit. Once that was done she pulled her hood up and then took off towards the Nukenin graveyard. What a covenant first mission for her. Have the Missing nin kill Nukenin's to remind her of Kirigakure's stance on Those types. She just had to thank her graces that Ayakashi felt she was worthy of being sheltered, but at the end of the day she was still a traitor, and deep in her heart she knew this. Her reasons may have been for the betterment of Kumogakure, but she had still done so recklessly, ad without abandon. Her actions had been idiotic at best. Maybe this mission was to remind he what would have happened had she stepped incorrectly.

It didn't take long of Mitsu to reach the Nukenin graveyard, given that Sero's island wasn't far from it. As she would approach Nozomi would be filled with a familiar sensation. A predator was out on the loose, seeking to feast. The desire to kill filling the air, although it was a bit weaker than Sero's the presence would be recognizable. Mitsu saw her teammate for this mission a bit earlier, but it wasn't until she would seemingly appear out of the mist, and land in front of her teammate, would she realize who she was. Mitsu was glad to be wearing wearing a mask as she instantly recognized the face of her girlfriend. She was almost in Awe at how combat ready the girl appeared. This was definitely a side of Nozomi that Mitsu hadn't seen, and she had seen a fair bit. As far as nozomi was concerned, all she would have seen would have been a figure suddenly appearing out of the mist, Mitsu had done her best to remain quiet, and then slowly raise before her, the Osada symbol on her gray cloak noticeable. The figure would be wearing a black jumpsuit with the gray ANBU armour, and a mask that resembled a dog with a single sword on her back.

Mitsu had been briefed on the mission. Find and kill three people who have been killing in the Nukenin graveyard. It was at this moment that Mitsu pulled off her hood to let out a long red ponytail. Mitsu would then turn to Nozomi "I see no use for a mask as our targets shall not live." and then she would pull her mask to the side of her face. She had regained her composer after the shock of her seeing her girlfriend, and now her face was cold, emotionless, that of someone intent on killing, it mixed well with the Aura she was eluding. Mist seemed to curl around Mitsu as it did with sero, a love for a being who was birthed from the bloody mist, and gave reality to the name. She spoke in her normal voice, as Nozomi wouldn't recognize it. She had been informed that Nozomi had not been informed as of yet, ad that she could tell her when she saw fit. However, she didn't think now was the best time. "My name is Mitsu Osada, a cousin of Sero... Who might you be?" Mitsu posed. She wanted to see how Nozomi would react, and hey, maybe she could get more information out of her girlfriend.

Her wait wasn't exactly all that long. She felt the presence before she even made eye contact with the other who had taken on the mission. But she certainly wasn't expecting the one to show up to be who it was. So despite having been waiting, Nozomi was somewhat startled when she recognized the familiar presence of her old Team mate, Sero Osada Jr. A smile popped up on her face, and she swiveled her head around. "I didn't think you'd be the one on this mission, Sero." she started to say, but then her eyes caught up with her, and instead of Sero, was a woman. Her chakra presence was definitely reminiscent of Sero's, but that was about where the similarities ended. Indeed, now that Nozomi looked closer into it, her chakra was far less ominous than Sero's, as if diluted. And while the woman and Sero were both ANBU, and Osada judging by the cloak she wore, which bore the Osada clan crest. She giggled slightly awkwardly. "I'm sorry. I mistook you for Sero. Must be an Osada thing, with that type of chakra." she bowed her head in apology.

The girl slid her mask over to the side, and Nozomi got a look at the person that was in front of her. Nozomi wasn't disappointed, as she'd not been expecting to see a face that might be somewhat familiar to her. She'd been on patrol, worked a lot, and had been on many missions with many other Kiri shinobi and kunoichi, but apart from Sero, she'd never felt another with chakra quite like that, so she wouldn't expect to have recognized the face of this person. She stared kindly, but without any recognition crossing her face. The girl had spoken, and Nozomi's smile faded off of her face momentarily, as she spoke quite like Sero did. Not a tone of emotion crossed her voice at the prospect of killing someone else. Nozomi may not have any qualms, but at the very least, she always regretted having to take a life. The girl introduced herself as Mitsu Osada, and a cousin of Sero Osada. Perhaps it was just in their blood line that they had the presence like that. Nozomi had met Wolfgang Osada previously, but he didn't exude any of chakra taint that this girl or Sero did. "I'm Nozomi Himitsu, Special Jounin of Kirigakure. Former squadmate of your Cousin, under the teachings of Sensei Gin. Kinda surprised you weren't briefed on who I am, as you're the one in charge of the mission parameters, but...." Nozomi cut off with a small little shrug. She paused for a moment, as if to think, and hesitantly started back up again. "Although... if you're Sero's cousin, then maybe you could have him get back to me on what happened with the... delivery?"

As she asked that, her face was one of a mixture of noticeable curiosity, concern, and worry. She'd been waiting to hear word on things, but it had been a while since she'd returned from Kumo, and news about Kaekio hadn't yet gotten back to her. It was something that had been on her mind recently, but she'd been trying to keep it back. The arrival of this Osada brought it back up to the forefront of her mind though.

"I didn't think you'd be the one on this mission, Sero." she heard the words come from the oh so familiar voice as she approached. she watched as she girlfriend turned around to face her, and was struck with what looked to be confusion as she wasn't who nozomi thought she was. "I'm sorry. I mistook you for Sero. Must be an Osada thing, with that type of chakra." Mitsu would merely shake her head signifying that an apology was not necessary she knew exactly why Noomi had mistaken her for Sero.

"I'm Nozomi Himitsu, Special Jounin of Kirigakure. Former squadmate of your Cousin, under the teachings of Sensei Gin. Kinda surprised you weren't briefed on who I am, as you're the one in charge of the mission parameters, but.... Although... if you're Sero's cousin, then maybe you could have him get back to me on what happened with the... delivery?" A brief smile crossed Mitsu's Face before she spoke. This maybe showed that she had a bit more emotion than sero. "Don't worry. I was a little more than briefed on who you were. I just wanted to see if you'd tell me something i didn't know as of yet, although to no avail.... Mitsu would pause for a moment. Sero had given her the right of way to tell nozomi about herself, however she was unsure how best to go about this. "as for the package..." Mitsu's body then moved on her own, as she paced her finger underneath her girlfriend's chin. And kissed her as though she had known her forever. Which to Mitsu, she had. Mitsu would then pull away from the kiss before Nozomi had to time to realize what was going on, then Mitsu would give her a brief wink, and mutter the words. "thirty seconds." and before nozomi could say anything Mitsu would dash off into the mist, and into the nukenin graveyard. Her current perception range going into tracking.

About thirty seconds later, a single lightning strike could be heard in the distance.

Nozomi watched as Mitsu responded with curt nods and some small smiles. Inwardly, she had a moment of relief: sure, of course she liked Sero, and didn't mind him, but one was enough. If this girl had been another of him, it would have certainly dragged on her. So it was a good change of pace, at the very least, that she had some range of emotion other than anger and rage. Although, her revealing it was an attempt to gather some more intel that wasn't in the briefing made Nozomi frown a tad bit. Why couldn't shinobi just take their allies at their word? So much subterfuge and-

Nozomi's thoughts were cut off almost immediately by the events that transpired. A finger moved towards Nozomi's chin, then their lips met. Nozomi was frozen in place, shocked by what was happening. She didn't quite know what to say, or even what to do. And yet, there was something off, even more so than this girl she'd just met kissing her out of nowhere. The kiss, it was familiar. The lips were different, the face was different, the voice was different, the chakra was different, but there was no changing the kiss. The sensation. Nozomi was startled by the familiarity in the kiss, and she couldn't help but give a little back. It was reactionary. Her mind took over her body before she could even think, as it was so weak willed at the moment. Despite Nozomi having little experience in the dating scene, or anything romantically, she had spent so much time with Kaekio that she would be able to notice the touch, the feel of the girl's actions. And yet it didn't register yet. She could sense overwhelming familiarity, as if the kiss wasn't wrong, as if they were meant to do so, as if it should happen, and nobody could say any different. And she spoke and ran off. Nozomi was still rooted on the spot when the Lightning strike lit up the sky.

A range of emotions registered in Nozomi. Confusion, anger, frustration, sadness, but mostly overwhelming joy. This girl, this Mitsu, wasn't Mitsu at all. It was Kaekio! And she'd been changed! Judging by Nozomi being unable to tell, the change was incredibly good that it would take someone who intimately knew Kaekio to even notice any familiarity. Nozomi had been far more intimate with the girl than anyone else should even be able to claim to be, so nobody would even hold suspicion for long without looking into her past, which Nozomi was more than certain was also falsified to such a degree that even under that unlikely circumstance, it would bring nothing to fruition. Kaekio was safe. Kaekio was here. And now they could be together. Tears welled up in her eyes.

And then another realization hit the awestruck girl. The tears vanished and a note of indignation flared on Nozomi's face as she rushed forward into the mist. "YOU CHEATED! I KNEW IT!"

As Mitsu dove into the mist is enclosed and curled around much like it did with Sero. It was still odd, how the mist seem the love her, want to conceal her from her prey. It was like it loved when it was stained with blood, and the primal feeling inside of her burned, wanting to fill the mist with blood, and she it splash before her very eyes. A hungry look appeared in Mitsu's eyes as she went into the mist. Red ears the looked like they were dunked in blue dye at the tip and same with her tail. Her Crimson eyes turning a vibrant shade of purple, fangs appearing in her mouth with a sharp glint. She was ready to kill. The dark aura around her pulsed, and flexed. The primal feeling in Mitsu grew. She wanted to hunt, and those that lurked in the nukenin graveyard were her prey. She could feel them, in her sensory range. She knew where they were waiting, and they knew she was approaching. She could feel the panic rising in them, as the dark feeling that started off as a nothing more than a subtitle discomfort, grew and grew into something more. Nozomi whom was surely Mitsu, would feel the full force of this aura, it would feel almost exactly like Sero's at this point, although it would be unknown to Mitsu how this would effect her, as she had spent time around Sero, and would probably be used to it. how the six before her had never felt anything this dark. As Mitsu grew closer and closer The chills up their spine grew more and more intense, as mist rolled into the surrounding area. Think and intense mist. It was at this point, Mitsu would disappear from sight. The air grew cold, to the point one could see their breath, but there was something amiss.

Suddenly and vibrantly, Lightning Arced from one place to another, the loud CRACK boomed through the silent mist. Then another, and another, slowly gaining speed until there were several lightning strikes occurring around the area surrounding. Mitsu moved through-out the mist silently, Pacing around her targets, which where in the center of the lightning strikes. She was flexing her chakra, exercising,  preparing to spill the blood of those before her. her gray cloak keeping her comfortably concealed in the mist. She currently felt a way she hadn't before, she had felt close to this level of murderous intent when she had done a mission with Sero once before, but never t this extremely. She wanted to paint the black room sero had created red with the blood of her victims. That's what they were. Victims. Sure she had been assigned this mission by the Mizukage, but she wanted to kill them. She wanted to paint the a mural of the horrified look on their face on the ground using their own blood as the medium. With that simple thought and a quick and soundless step She burst into the group appearing behind the trio, and simply muttering the words into one of their ear "Red is such a pretty color. Don't you think?" As lightning burst out arcing up her hand, and still in the movement from her dash, thrust her chidori straight through the One of the boys in the middle, blood splattering out as tore her now red hand back out. As both of the two people still alive turned their attention to the wolf sage, with a pale expression, and shock and horror written on their face. Mitsu simply grinned and muttered. "Which of you shall be next then" as lightning burst out around her, flexing her chakra no longer in the area around the group but more in centralized on her, as she grabbed her blade in her right hand in reverse grip style fashion, and infused it with chakra, it glowing a bright blue, as with most of the area around Mitsu and the group now. Her dark expression turned to the girl. "What if we killed the youngest one first?" With, that she kicked backwards into the mist, as the dog of the boy she just killed attempted to bite her. She had long switched into close combat range, and  she was ready to begin her hunt.

Nozomi rushed through the mist after the fleeing form of "Mitsu Osada", her senses on high alert. Of course, it didn't matter much, their speed was so close that unless Nozomi was pushing herself, she wouldn't be able to catch up. Of course, she didn't want to tire herself out before the battle even began, so she didn't mind holding herself back a few seconds behind the ANBU female. She knew that when it came to that girl, nobody would be able to simply kill her in such a quick amount of time, and perhaps could do this mission without any assistance from her young blonde companion, just as she could do the same. When it came down to it, both of these females were perfect killing machines, "Mitsu" with the killing intent and desire for blood, and Nozomi with the ability to make peace when possible, but kill when necessary. She was suited to tearing down an opponent, and either killing or disabling them, but this crowd of healers would not be easy to take down if it came to having to take them alive. Unfortunately for them, this mission was an extermination mission. Only the two of the Kiri-nin would be leaving the area alive.

The aura Nozomi had noticed before upon meeting this new rendition of her girlfriend, the same that matched the feeling of Sero, came out full force, quite the same as Sero's, although a little more mirky, almost watered down. It was definitely weaker, but to those that didn't know the feeling as intimately as Nozomi did, it wouldn't matter. She registered the aura only as that of an ally. The opponents however, would only know the feeling as one of fear. Perhaps had even heard of the feeling as one that would result in the death of those in the immediate area. The Special Jounin knew little about how other people felt and reacted to new stimuli. Some were stronger than others, although she'd heard of Jounin that had been unsettled by that feeling before he'd ever even become a higher ranked shinobi.

She didn't see much beyond the mist and the lightning, and had lost sight of Mitsu's form, but she could hear a voice, the voice that belonged to Mitsu, the subtle similarities between Kaekio's old voice and her new voice one that Nozomi had picked up on now that she knew the truth. Then, she saw another flash of light from lightning, although this was much less higher in altitude. This was ground level. Kaekio had used her lightning. So it seemed that she was starting out the fight much more violently, with no attempt for negotiations. That was fine. It was unlikely they would have been talked down anyhow, and as there were no prisons on Kiri, taking them in would have only resulted in a later execution. Well then, if she was going to go in killing, Nozomi would have to as well.

As she bounded forward, she began to make out the shapes and forms of those present. Mitsu, another girl, 3 animals, 1 man, and a corpse. Mitsu had leapt backwards just as she was attacked by the dog of the man she had killed, and Nozomi seized the opportunity to remove it's head from the rest of it's body with a blazing fast strike from her Tanto, using the momentum to continue forward and out of retaliation range of those present. If Kaekio was going to be dealing with the girl, then Nozomi would take the remaining male and his own animal. She turned towards the man, and felt a tinge of regret as she saw the look on his face at how quickly his brother and his brother's pet had been wiped out, but there wasn't much she could do. Leaping towards him, she struck out with her Tanto, and the deadly dance between them began as he barely blocked in time, his wolf already on edge and prepared to pounce in tandem with it's partner. Nozomi couldn't help but feel excitement course through her veins.

A devilish grin was on the face of the mutli-colored hair girl, as she slid back as the dog attempt to nip at her. Although it was much too slow for her. It was then Nozomi dashed out of the mist and ended the dog there and then, ending up next to Hachiko as the two slid to a stop. Then they faced off against their opponents. Hachiko still feeling murderous, as a single lightning strike in the distance caught her off guard. It wouldn't be loud or close enough in the distance for anyone else in the circle of the mist to know about or have any relevance. But it caught hachiko off, for the sole reason she hadn't sense it build up. Which is something she normally excels at. So fine tuned in her sensory that detecting lightning strikes has become second nature to her, even in battle. But that one  would have struck her down, had she been in it's impact zone. This is when she realized the error of letting that dark oily room inside burn with hunger and needing blood. The mist that had been coiling around her almost excitedly seemed to cease in a moment, as the dark aura around her turned down to normal levels about the same as when Hachiko had first came up to the nuke-nin graveyard. And the girl was slightly angry at herself for letting herself go that much to the point she had simply neglected her Kekkei Genkai. And that, was unacceptable. So with that she reined in the burning desire to kill. Not even just kill. Slaughter. For no other purpose than amusement.

As she did that Nozomi began her dance of blades with the male shinobi. Hachiko has positioned herself so that the girl couldn't intervene in their fight, but she could if need be. Though the trio and their pets did feel slightly underpowered for Hachiko, but as she began to control her emotions her thought process wondered a bit, and she thought of her home. The village hidden in the clouds. the place she was fighting for. And suddenly the desire to play with the girl before her ceased completely. She suddenly felt a urgency she hadn't felt before, and she felt like she was running out of time, because  she really didn't have much time. She needed to get as strong as possible, in the shortest amount of time she could. And this mission immediately felt like a waste of time. This mission was something Hachiko or Nozomi could have easily done on their own, but it was probably something more akin to a test of loyalty. Which while hachiko knew was something needed she couldn't waste much time on it. She needed to be done. She had to get to training. Her mind focused in on a picture of the Raikage, the one who had invaded her clan, and stalled her progress she knew not how. But, she was angry. She was angry as his blatant distrust for the Ryuzoji, and for the betrayal she felt from someone so close to her. She was going to get stronger so that way she could fix her village. So she could save her home. She was going to become the Raikage of Kumogakure no Sato, one way or another. But she was nowhere near strong enough for that at this moment.

So with a determined and angry look in Hachiko's eye, lightning begin coiling around her and on the ground, as she drew her sword, lightning being applied as she drew it. She was done wasting time. As she finished her draw a few quick steps and she in front of the girl within a moment's notice. Almost as if in a blink of eye she was there, however this girl seemed much more skilled than the older boys around her and so as Hachiko went to slice at her neck the girl pushed off the ground in a backwards leap, narrowly escaping the reach of Hachiko's Katana. As she did that, the dog went into bite Hachiko's Leg, But Hachiko was experience, as well as was a sensory nin. She could feel the dog's Every move and so in her wing she simply turned body, turning it into a spin, and as she did that she lifted her leg, delivering a strong kick to the dog's jaw, but before the kick could connect, a poof and Hachiko felt hands wrap around her leg. The girl had substituted with the dog. Hachiko bit her lip. This girl was every bit as skilled as she was, and that made her feel a little it better about this mission. However, Hachiko still didn't have time to waste. The wolf charged her once more. So with fast reflexes Hachiko put her left hand on the ground and began to spin, Her left leg connecting with the head of girl as she lightning blade went upwards and spilt the head of the dog in two. The girl and hachiko slid, the girl sliding back and Hachiko sliding somewhere in between sliding back and sliding to her left side. It was then the girl made the tiger and sign, and instantly recognizing what she was doing, so did Hachiko. Dragons flew out of both of the girl's mouths and almost instantly collided into a massive roar of flames. But this locked the girl's vision and not Hachiko's, a mistake the girl assumed, as she used the time to get to her feet, where Hachiko spent the building up chakra above her head, As the flames finishing colliding in the air, a bolt of lighting was sent straight through and railed the 16 year old girl to the ground, and piercing straight through her chest. Hachiko then stood up and walked over. And then, with cold eyes look down at the girl as she raised her sword in reverse grip fashion and drove it down the girl's head. Killing her.

Silence hung in the air, at least on Hachiko's side of the fight for a few moments before Hachiko stood up from her kneeled position, and then pulled her sword out of the girl's head, before giving it a broad and quick fling to fling the blood off of the blade, before putting it in its sheath. She then turned over to Nozomi where she could still hear fighting, and looking to see if she needed to provide assistance or if Nozomi was simply enjoying her fight. Her gray cloak and ANBU armour slightly blood splattered, but she didn't care too much. She was sure sero had something to get blood out of clothing. Then she had a second thought. She didn't really like gray all that much, nor did she really have a use for all of her old items. Not only did they tie her too closely to Kaekio, it reminded her of her home too painfully. And so, she would simply wait until Nozomi was done with her battle as it didn't seem like she needed help. Then before the girl could turn around after her final kill to face Hachiko, Hachiko would run up, and as the girl would turn around, Hachiko would kiss her, and then give her an eye smile. After that Hachiko would say. "Hey hun. I have some stuff to give you. Back at Sero's place that is... Because that's where i'm staying." she said slightly awkwardly. While she would have much rather stay with Nozomi it made much more sense for her to stay with sero. First off, Sero was a high ranking ANBU, next his place was secluded so there was next to no chance that anyone would pass by there by chance, and then she was also a Osada, so she had "family" reasons to e there, and finally, staying with nozomi would be a near dead giveaway of her identity. After Hachiko would give her twin katanas, her sage cloak, and her twin rusty katanas to Nozomi, and Hachiko got out of her ANBU gear, and got the blood off of her Osada cloak, she would then get dressed for public, and then let the girl take her wherever she wanted to take her.

This man that Nozomi was engaged in combat with, stood no chance with the girl. His skills were of a high leveled chuunin, but it was obvious that she fully outstripped him in skills and speed. He had the finesse and better training with a weapon, but when it came down to it, Nozomi's other skills just surpassed his own. Besides that, his brother had just been wiped out in but an instant, so he wasn't able to fight at peak capacity, and his sister was locked in a struggle of her own, one that Nozomi noted in passing was an incredibly equal match up. The girl had more skill than either had expected, but that wasn't any issue. Kaekio was best suited for that sort of thing, able to react so much quicker to anything, as if she already saw a move coming before it was launched.

Her own opponent was providing a decent enough challenge, his wolf and him working in tandem perfectly. It was a shame these were missing-nin, because Kiri would have been better with them as part of their shinobi. Her blade snaked through the man's defense, and knicked his neck in a way that would have spelled the end for most other shinobi, but Nozomi knew he'd be back up from in a short amount of time, as it had already happened a few times at this point. His healing was a major edge in this, but she wasn't ready to kill him yet, or he wouldn't have survived the first drop. It was a great thing, the Hinode healing factor, but better kept a secret. If an opponent knew about it, and had forward knowledge of it before a fight, then the healing factor wouldn't be able to catch anyone off guard.

This time, however, when Nozomi dropped him, she sent him flying backwards with a kick to the sternum, and turned her attention on his wolf. Kaekio's fight was starting to reach its climax, so she might as well draw it closer to an end. Sheathing her tanto, Nozomi's hands moved towards her pouches, and in a flurry of movements, she sent out a mass of kunai, senbon, and shuriken towards the wolf, who was overwhelmed by the sheer mass of weapons moving towards him, and was left a quivering mess. The wolf did not contain the same healing factor, and the amount of wounds it received were easily enough to prove fatal soon from blood loss.

The man in front of her stumbled to his feet, his wounds healing up, and his eyes full of fear at the entire situation. His wolf was down for the count, his sister's wolf was down, and their fight was getting to the end, with Kaekio looking to have the minor advantage in terms of skill and jutsu. He knew Nozomi had been toying with him most of the fight, she hadn't even utilized any jutsu. If she had wanted to, the fight would have been over before it began, and then his sister would have been no issue in the slightest. But instead, Nozomi had been assured of victory to the point where she was laid back in a fight. And hadn't even said one word. And so they went back at it, him with the fury of his life, and her enjoying the small warm up. Before long though, his face said all Nozomi needed to know. He couldn't hide the fear and anguish as Kaekio finished off his sister.

Toying with the man a bit longer, Nozomi knew she was being observed, and that she needn't stay in the fight too much longer, so she vamped up her speed and strength to full force, pulling out a second tanto from one of it's holsters. In a flurry of movement, she disarmed her opponent with a slash up his entire arm, scoring a bunch of lesser strikes at his flesh, knocked him up into the air, and when he landed back on his feet, ready to sink down into the ground, Nozomi spun around and brought her blades up into his heart, slipping up under the rib cage. His eyes widened, and his mouth moved, but no words came out. He had died last. They stood locked in that embrace for a while, until the life drained from his eyes, and Nozomi removed the blades from inside him, wiping them off on his shirt. Looking back to Kaekio, she went to smile at her, but of course, she didn't much get the chance.

As she turned around, she was instantly set upon by the girl, and bestowed a kiss upon. Kissing back, Nozomi's heart soared as any doubts on if she was Kaekio or not instantly vanished, replaced once again with a sense of overwhelming joy that she was now back in her life fully. Sort of anyhow, but it was enough. Mitsu awkwardly explained she had some stuff to give to the young blonde, and that it was back at Sero's, where she would have to stay at, and Nozomi's nose curled up in slight disgust; not at her not living with Nozomi (there was no reason she couldn't just stay over at Nozomi's whenever she wanted), but it was because she'd been to Sero's before, and it was in dire need of a spring cleaning session. "I'll help you clean the place down. My princess doesn't deserve such living conditions." she muttered under her breath.

Collecting the items that her girlfriend was dispatching with, Nozomi felt bad that she didn't have anything to give to her, so she instead decided that she would personalize the items once again to fit her own style (and to remind her of Kaekio as she had been, not as she was now) and make use of the items to show that the gift was much appreciated. Beyond that, though, she'd take Mitsu out on the best night in Kiri. And so, the two set out.
