There was a saying in certain parts of the world, that still lives to this day. it goes as follows: "Subete no shigoto, asobi ga nai wa jakku nibui otokonoko ni narimasu". In case you don't speak that specific language, it's "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". If Tomoya has, in fact, ever heard of it he ignores it, as once more he's out training with a master. He was dressed in a simple white robe, that had a strange similarity to a toga. It was a specific training garment for Fire Jutsus, making sure that it would allow the body to bring it's natural Fire chakra to the surface, allowing them to learn techniques quicker and easier than normal. Opposite him was a tall man with bright red spiky hair, his eyes hidden under a pair of sunglasses, and his gloves hidden under bandage wrapping. He'd been recommended him when he asked about training some new Katon-ninjutsu. Apparently he was some kind of expert, and it was a comfort to know that he would be in skilled hands. His voice was strange, something in his mind told him it was an irish accent, then he realized he didn't know anywhere called Ireland. What was wrong with his brain this morning? He sighed, before his ears seemed to perk up as the man started talking again.
"So, Tomo-kun.."
"Please, call me Tomoya..." the man didn't seem to pay any attention to Tomoya's protest as he continued seconds later, cutting him off without batting an eyelid.
".... Tomo-kun, you want to train with me? I've already lent you the training garb that let me train to get this strong, and so I no longer need it. But you.... well, you're not exactly the strongest in Fire Chakra, you know what I'm saying?" Pushing down the instinct to have a go at his instructor for ignoring his request, Tomoya had to nod sheepishly at his words. There was a certain truth to what he was saying, even if it was a little cocky and rude. Tomoya, indeed, knew that he wasn't the strongest when it came to Katon chakra, but he was getting better all the time and so he wanted more training in it. Who wouldn't in his position? He needed to get stronger, and there was nothing that would get between him and his goal, his goal of being strong enough to gain enough experience to write and make more prosthetics. Not now that his main obstacle was.... taken care of. Permanently. Besides, when he'd met the Kazekage recently, she had pretty much laughed at his skills, despite him being the one that the village had always depended on for getting their prosthetics. It was rude, and frankly the fact that she would ignore him, and not just ignore him but treat him like crap just because he wanted her out of the emergency room (Which, in hindsight, he remembered didn't even happen... god damn it Gin was a pain in the ass sometimes.), but here words had proven something to him. He wasn't as respected as he should be, and he knew that he would have to continue on with his skills and ignore her, until he was strong enough that even she would acknowledge him. That would happen one day.... whether she liked it or not.

The annoying man continued on, obviously not deterred by Tomoya's displeasure at being insulted like that. Maybe he was brain-dead or maybe he just didn't give a shit about other people.
"Well, first you need to decide on the jutsu you're going to learn. Thankfully, I have a few you might like to know. Let's start with the basics... Katon Bunshin no jutsu!" Basics, the man said. Tomoya had to avoid laughing, that was not basics, but whatever. He was confident that he'd be able to do something like that, but would the man be able to understand how difficult things were for everyone else? Actually, he probably did. His words reeked of someone who said them to seem tougher, they didn't quite seem true. In fact, everything about the guy seemed to be complete and utter bullshit. Oh well, he seemed strong enough so at least that one was true. The man put his hands out so it would be obvious to watch.
"Now, the handsigns are as follows... Tiger, Boar, Ox, Dog!" He followed through with the signs, before a series of clones arrived around him. There were six of them, all perfectly formed, and as he lunged at one, he shattered it with a punch through the face, causing it to burst into fire, setting the sleeve of his coat on fire. He clicked his fingers, causing the fire to start snuffing itself.
"These clones are better than the usual Bunshin No jutsu as they'll burst into flame when taken out, so the idiots who try and knock them out will get a hot little surprise. However, unfortunately they can only use fire based techniques due to the fact that they're made out of fire chakra. Understand?" Tomoya nodded and got to his feet.
"Let's try to get you four clones at once to begin. This is still new for you, so as easy as it looked for me it should still be a little tricky for you." Tomoya sighed, and raised an eyebrow. Didn't the man JUST say it was basics? Never mind, never mind. He looked at the man and followed his instructions to the letter. Tiger....board...ox...dog! Four clones manifested themselves around him, although one of their faces looked a little blurred, like seeing it through a translucent window. It was a good attempt, although a little embarrassing for him.

It took another ten tries before he was fully able to perform it and get the highest possible number. There were six perfectly formed clones standing around him. This was the easy part... the hardest point would come in a little while.
"Good, good. You pick it up quickly. If I didn't already know about you, I'd think that Fire release was your best skill. But, this is only the beginning of everything you need to learn about this technique. I hope you're aware of that." Tomoya nodded, how could it not be the easiest part. He was making this with his own sweet time... he had to do it under pressure next. That meant a fight.

Spreading out across the area, Tomoya looked at his teacher who was summoning his clones, but there was something more impressive about these. There were more of them, and they somehow seemed tougher. Then, all at once, they charged at him. He had to duck and dodge attacks, trying to get his hand-signs quickly, but it was knocked out of him as he felt an altogether too real fist slam into his face. He was knocked over and looked up at the faces of his opponents. Pushing his hands onto the floor and kicking upwards as if doing a cartwheel, both feet slammed through a different clone before he stood up, moving backwards as he continued to weave his hand-signs. Of course, as his master was more experienced, he finished his handsigns faster and created more shadow clones, knocking him out of his hand-sign allignment. Sighing, Tomoya did what he normally avoided doing. He stood in a single spot, allowing them to surround him.... before he performed what would have looked like an immaculate handstand and started spinning on one hand, his legs flailing out and acting like a whirling dervish, slamming into all six of them, clearing the space for him to perform the jutsu's hand-sign one handed. Although there wasn't as many of them because he only did it one handed, they were certainly there, and were standing around him like a turtle shield. Flipping back to his feet, he performed the hand-signs again and summoned two more to a grand total of six, the most he could manage with this jutsu. Just as he was getting ready to launch a counter-attack, his master put his hands up as if to say he was surrendering. Tomoya was a little surprised, then realized that he had, in his fighting style, managed to do exactly what he'd intended to do. He had summoned the fire clones whilst fighting. Literally whilst fighting. He smiled at the thought that his master probably hadn't expected an attack like that, but then Tomoya was primarily a Taijutsu-based ninja, so it was only natural he would be skilled in this kind of fighting. Still, the man was impressed and called him in to talk by beckoning with his hand. Tomoya walked forwards, wondering if he should drop his jutsu but the man shook his head. It was clear that that was not supposed to happen, so Tomoya left it as it was and left his clones standing around whilst he went and talked to his master.

"Good, that was actually very good... where did you learn to fight like that?" Tomoya shrugged his shoulders, it was just something he knew how to do.
"Anyway, I don't know if you know this, but you don't just get information from your clones. You also get experience." Experience? Wait, he didn't mean....
"Yep, you're actually able to use your clones to make your training sessions take less time. So, if I set you a hard one to learn, it would take half the time with one clone, or a third of the time with two, or..."
"A seventh with six?" The man nodded, but then warned something
"However, it will also tire you out seven times faster. The main people who can use this type of training are those who hold the Tailed beasts. The one who mastered this learning technique was a very foxy man called Naruto Uzumaki of Konoha, who taught it to Gaara, our Yondaime. As you don't have such a thing, you will be at risk doing this. Are you sure you'll be alright?" Tomoya nodded. He was a good master of his chakra, after all he'd been able to artificially master his Fire chakra, so there was nothing he was worried about.
"Alright then.... time to teach you to summon a dragon!"

Tomoya stood with his clones around him, looking at his master. The man smiled and turned so that he was facing sideways onto them. If he looked at them, he'd end up firing a highly powerful technique at his students. Frankly, that wasn't a good idea but he still needed to let them see his handsigns. It was something important to form this particular jutsu. His hands wove through the special signs quickly, like he was used to this. Snake, Dragon, Rabbit, Tiger. His cheeks spread out, like there was something inside it, before he spat out, a gigantic fire spitting out of his mouth and expanding the moment it left his mouth into the form of a gigantic dragon. It went forwards and flew into the air, going into the clouds as if he could lead it. It was actually an impressive display, and all six of them had to shade their eyes to make sure they didn't accidentally get blinded. It was bright, and big, and it looked very, very powerful. No matter how tough it looked however, it was clear that it was just in the reach of Tomoya's current abilities. This also reminded him that he'd need to train more soon. He nodded and all of them turned away so they didn't end up pointing their mouths at their master, and started practising with their hand-signs. Snake, Dragon, Rabbit, Tiger. Their cheeks expanded, and one by one they let out a large torrent of flames. However, none of them could mould it quite the same way as they were supposed to. It was a very hard thing to do in any case, but especially now that his chakra was spread into seven different bodies. He frowned and continued to try, over and over again. It got wider, and longer, and a couple of times he lost his clones but he continued to re-summon them, each time getting more and more powerful. Then, finally, he did it. His hands flew into the form of the hand-signs as they were supposed to, unconsciously now, and then his cheeks spread out and he fired the dragon out of his mouth. It ran forwards, slamming into the wall of the arena as he was too surprised to steer it properly. It set fire to the wall, at which his master ran over and started putting the fire out. Yet again with that clicking thing... how did he do that? Could he be decreasing the flammability of the oxygen in the air with some sort of finger based jutsu? Wait, didn't he have a move just like that, only in reverse? Except he had to use his mouth to spread the flammable gas like he was firing a hose or something... that gave him a really good idea that he wanted to try out later on, but for now he'd have to deal with just working with the dragon fireball.

His master ran back to him, obviously a little tired. He couldn't blame him for being tired, they'd already spent a large amount of time training and even for a jounin that had to be exhausting. Nevertheless, that determined look had never left his face. It was actually a little inspiring, as he was now clapping his student's efforts.
"Well done, very very well done." He said happily, before continuing on as he had done earlier.
"However, you do realize that, as we did earlier, you're going to have to fight me and make the fireball whilst under pressure." Something felt wrong about doing it this way. After all, he could see how much damage it had done to the wall. That was when his master's expression changed, softened slightly
"don't worry, you won't actually be pointing it at me, that would be obscenely dangerous. I'm going to summon my clones for you to spar with. The rule is, this time no taijutsu or clones to help you. You have to do it on your own, under pressure, versing six of my clones at once. Think you're up for it?"

It wasn't exactly like he had a choice in the matter as he let his clones dissipate into clouds of smoke behind him. He walked forwards, and saw the huge amount of clones approaching him. He had to back away, very quickly, knowing that if he got into too close combat not only would he be tempted to get into a fight with only using taijutsu, but when he fired the dragon technique he'd probably get caught in it. As he moved backwards, they continued to press forwards, not giving him enough time to maneouver away from their attacks, and with that in mind... he had to go into the attacks. He ran forwards, before ducking underneath the punch and barelling forwards, rolling between two of them, and completing the roll with a leap to his feet as he finished the hand-sign, spinning around and putting his hand out to funnel his fire better. His cheeks puffed out with the dragon caught inside his mouth, and he spat it out in a tube of fire, racing out of his mouth at high speeds, passing through his funnelling hand and shooting out, catching all six of his enemies at the same time, breaking them apart before racing on into the wall, and exploding into a shower of pure fire. Tomoya's master had to throw himself out of the way of the exploding fire shower so that he didn't get set on fire. It was highly powerful, being able to cleave through his onslaught in seconds. This wasn't just skilled, it was scarily impressive. Eventually, he got back up and walked over to Tomoya slowly. He was obviously a little wary of the raw power that his student had displayed.
"Okay.... maybe not so much chakra into it next time. You nearly barbequed me and I wasn't even near the attack." Tomoya suddenly felt a little sheepish. Had he overdone it? Still, this was all for the good of the village, he had to be able to give it his all at all times or else he'd be more of a liability than an asset. Of course, this was clearly not how the man who was teaching him felt about it. Still, there was one last thing that he wanted to try out.
"Sensei.... I have an idea for a jutsu, do you mind if I try it right now?" His master seemed surprised. Another jutsu... right now? Surely his chakra would have run out by now? How much did this guy bloody have?
"Sure, go ahead, but I'm tired so this will be the last one. What did you want me to teach you?" Tomoya shook his head. This was a completely new jutsu that he was making right now... well, not entirely new. It was just a specialized one that he had just designed after thinking about how his master's anti-fire jutsu worked, but it was something that most people wouldn't have thought of. Or at least, nothing that anyone had recorded because he'd looked.

Right now he had to try to monitor his hand signs. He already knew how to make his mouth's supply of flammable gas, but how to do it outside of his body.... hmm... Well, let's see. The basic jutsu would only require Snake, then Ram, followed by Monkey and Tiger. It was a simple jutsu so he doubted he'd have to repeat a hand sign, so that took four of them off the list. Maybe.... Hare? He tried it, but nothing happened. He carried on with different handsigns variants until he got to the one that worked. Snake, Ram, Monkey, tiger, Boar! A sudden pungent smell hit the air, and he clicked his fingers. He'd got it! Of course, that was when the first ball of gas went off, worryingly near his master who had dived for cover. He laughed slightly, so.... he'd made his own jutsu again. This was seriously more convenient than having to go spit it out like some kind of nasty puke. he continued clicking, which worked another five times, before the snapping did nothing anymore. He sighed, so this was what he could do? Well, his chakra was low at the moment.... but then again, six was a good number.

He smiled lightly and went to help his master up. He looked a little worried, not being used to seeing people invent their new jutsu on the spot like that, but then again that was Tomoya all over. The man who could, and normally would, do thinks that others would think of as impossible. Want an entire clan killed in ten seconds, Tomoya. Want a replacement leg made out of metal? Tomoya. Want a man who can make his own jutsu in ten minutes? Well I guess that would have to call for someone called Tomoya. He smiled as he shook his master's hand, thanking him for the job he'd done today. There was something inside Tomoya that kept him always working hard. Maybe one day he'd make a good ANBU, but today, just for today, he'd make a good student.

"Thank you sir... and sorry about your coat." The coat that his master was wearing earlier had been set alight during the dragon release, and he was currently standing in what looked like a frazzled waistcoat. His master looked too scared of his student to object too much, and it was actually a little refreshing that he wasn't going to say anything. Tomoya had already worked hard enough today, he was tired and his patience was about as frazzled as his master's coat. As the handshake finished, he turned around and started heading out of the area. He was finished with his training for the day, and he was exhausted. He was going to go sleep. there was nothing that could stop him from his rest as he was pretty much dead on his feet already. He walked out of the arena and eventually came out of sight of his master, who was still standing there watching him go.

His mind was racing. There wasn't supposed to be a way that someone could muster three jutsus in the same day, especially not three complex ones like that. Hell, he;d even designed one himself in less than ten minutes, and had known how to work it almost instantly. Sure, he seemed to think it was just a coincidence, but who clicks their fingers to show that they succeeded in this day and age? Honestly, that seemed a little far fetched. That boy would go far, really really far.... he had to start getting his work together. Maybe he'd be put into ANBU for his affilliation with that boy one day. Today, however, he had had the right idea when he suggested sleep. He yawned. Time for a little kip.
