Arashi1

Dead
It was a normal morning. Arashi has already woken up, and did the todays shift at the blacksmith. He was now heading for the Hotsprings, to relax a bit. I'm going to visit the new Tsuchikage today, it wouldn't hurt to get some relaxasion. Arashi was walking the Iwa streets, thinking about the new Tsuchikage. Hmm... Is he old? Young? Strong? Gentle? But he had an intuition, that told him the new Tsuchikage is probably young.
Arashi kept walking the streets, and soon arrived to the hotsprings.

There was a building next to a circular wall. There was steam rising from behind the wall. The pond must be behind. I guess this building is the booth? He looked towards a small building carved in rock. Arashi walked in, and saw a receptionist.
"Hello. Can I help you?"
The woman had a strict, but motherly voice. She talked to Arashi, even tough she didn't raise her eyes from a book she was reading. Well that's rude of her.
"Yes, actually. I would like to bathe in the Hotsprings."
"Right this way. It's free."
The woman closed her book, and got up on her feet. She started walking to a hallway. Arashi followed her, and they got to a a door.
"Right this way. Change in here, and proceed down the hall. The enterance is there."
"Ok, thank you."
The woman then returned to her desk. Arashi walked in the room. It was small, with wooden floor and walls. There were small boxes at one side of the room, where people wpuld put their clothes. On the other side of the room, was a little shelf with towels. Arashi took off his clothes, and tucked a towel around his waist. This feels... Very comfortable! He got out of the lockerroom, and procceded towards the entrance to the pond.

Zastin sighed as he came back into town, covered in swear and mud from his training. His summon was still being awkward to control, and he wasn't having a lot of luck with him. Still, he couldn't let anyone see him downtrodden like this. He was a proud young man, nobody could keep him down for long. He thought, just for a moment, about going home and taking a bath. Then, a better thought crossed his mind as he walked past the hotsprings. He walked inside and saw, for a few brief seconds, a strange red-headed boy walking in the opposite direction. He wondered if they'd be sharing a bath together, but then shrugged. What did it matter if they did? No more surprising than him sharing a locker room with anyone else.

Walking through the entrance to the changing room he slipped his clothes off at a speed that most people wouldn't think possible with his level of clothes, pulling the towel around his waist and walking off towards the bath. As he got out into the open air he glanced up at the Tsuchikage's residence at the top of the village. He should really pay the foolish man he called his uncle a visit one of these days, make sure he wasn't burning anything to the ground... again. Still, not like it mattered to him one way or another what the man did with his village, he was just a simple genin, not like his word would change anything around here. People tended not to listen to people who were of a lower rank than them, and thus he could probably say all he liked about Dengen but nobody would care. Not to say he was doing a bad job of course, god no, heavens forbid that he would think that. There was just a bad feeling he couldn't shake. A feeling of foreboding, like danger was fast approaching.

Arashi walked trough the door, leaving the building. As he walked out, he realized that the pond was split in two. A sign said "Boys <-----> Girls". Arashi, of course, turned left. The pond was shallow, no deeper than 5 feet. Steam rose from it. I hope I don't roast myself. The water looks pretty hot. The water, surprisingly, wasn't clear at all. It was shrouded, with what appeared to be a white substance. This must be to avoid showing off... private parts.

Arashi took a step in the pond. The water heated up his entire body, even if he was in the water with just his foot. He took of his towel, and lied into the water. He closed his dark, brown eyes. Complete relaxation flowed trough his body. He forgot all about the dangerous world. About the death of his parents. About his poorness. He was simply; happy. As heat flowed trough his body, he opened his eyes, to see the clear blue sky. There was only one cloud. Like a oasis in a desert. The sun was shining bright, but as always in Iwa, didn't provide much heat. I should do this more often. This place rocks!

Zastin continued to walk, as he saw a bird caw in mid-air. He looked back at it and glared, obviously annoyed. Maybe it was because of the bird reminding him of his own summon, the one that had been acting up recently, or whether it was because he was hoping for peace and quiet but either way he was not in a good mood with this bird. Still, it swooped down and perched on his shoulder. He didn't mind it doing this, and moved his hand to gently stroke the bird underneath the chin. Whether or not he was annoyed with birds on a whole, this one hadn't personally done anything to affront him in anyway. He continued walking to the bath, where he slipped under the water, causing the bird to get off and stand next to him, glaring at the man on the other side of the bath. It was hot, but it was a good hot, washing away the dirt that had covered his body earlier. It was nice to feel clean again, and he would be smiling if others weren't around. He disliked letting them see emotion, so managed to keep his appearance aloof, before turning back to his bird and gently stroking it under the chin again with his now wet finger.

"Aww... who's a good girl?" he asked gently, to which the bird looked at him with what was obviously a confused expression. Okay, so it clearly doesn't like being treated like that. His expression turned to one of thought for a second, before deciding on what he was saying
"I'm going to name you Minamikaze." the raven cawed at this again, showing his consent, before going for a quick flight around the baths.

Arashi was enjoying the bath, but a certain Black haired boy entered the springs. He didn't even do anything; and a raven flew on his shoulder. With no more than a single glance, Arashi knew that it was no ordinary raven. It was trained, but surely not by that kid. The bird would show far more interest if it was so. The black haired boy, which was about the same age as Arashi, stepped into the hot spring. The raven flew from his shoulder, to the ground by the pond. The boy the, with his finger wet now, scratched the raven under his chin. The raven's expression was just like he wanted to say "Stop it!"

It was very hard for Arashi to just look, and not act. Fucking idiot! Stroking a bird under a chin?! With a wet finger! No, no, no... Because of Arashi's love and interest for birds, he did quite a lot of research about them. One thing he was sure; never touch a bird under its chin. The throat of a bird is far more sensitive than the one of humans. It's very fragile, and the slightest touch seems like strangling to them. The raven stepped away, which was a lot less then other, non-trained birds would do. Most would simply fly away. The second, Arashi got up, put his towel on his waist and left. He changed back into his clothes, and headed for the Tsuchikage Complex.
