Uchiha Masaaki

Uchiha Masaaki

D-rank
Mission name: Woaaaaah!
Spoiler:

While Masaaki is only fifteen of age and only attended the academy once he understood enough that teaching can be very gruelling. After all, teachers have to be managers who are left on their own to control a class of twenty to thirty different personalities.

And sometimes, teacher can't provide order to chaos no matter how they try, he still recalled that particular day back when he was in the academy about a year ago or so, the teacher had a mental break down after dealing with such a horrendous class...Masaaki is determined not to let these kids break him.

Besides the worry about managing a class, there was also his partner for the mission Rippa. He has had no dealings with the stranger before now and Masaaki is always wary of unfamiliar faces for logical reasons. Hopefully today won't be too difficult for him. Or the class for that matter, it's bad enough that he haven't to deal with over 20 children and lip read them and keep a eye on them. Its a lot of pressure.

He stood just outside the academy, the mission note in his hand; his white brows frowned in concern. He might have modest skills, but he isn't specialized in taijutsu but the men upstairs thought he could teach these kids some basic marital arts and well...Masaaki doesn't want to disappoint anyone so accepted the mission.

He stared at the academy, nervousness settling in his stomach with ill intent. How the hell can the higher ups think he would be a good teacher? He only just got out of the academy! And not to mention he is only a few years older than the student, so the likelihood of them not taking him seriously is alarmingly high...at least in his head anyway.

With a sigh the boy entered the academy; he’ll be fine he reassured himself. All will be well, just get this over with and you’ll add another C-rank mission to your roster. He first found his way to the main hall where he knew the head of the academy would be there, but he didn’t go in at first since there was an assembly on but once that was over he walked in and introduced himself. The principal seemed relatively ok with seeing him, he even remembered Masaaki as the boy who just wouldn’t quit. The principal was even kind enough to lead the lad to his class for today. A boisterous class of twenty odd something kids.

“Thanks sir…” said the boy as he was left alone in the room with them. It felt eerie; he’s only thirteen year old. Are they seriously squished for academy teachers they need to bring in kids that are barely teenagers? Well nothing for it. He’ll just get this done with. He clapped his hands and mustered up the biggest smile possible. “OK! Let’s start with names. I’m Uchiha Masaaki; you can call me Masa-kun. And now your turn.” One by one the kids introduced themselves. Afterwards Masaaki sat on the desk and asked how advanced they are in taijutsu, and to his relief they haven’t yet been taught. So that means compare to them his taijutsu will be spectacular…for academy level taijutsu and marital combat. Six of the students were lacking in the art of ninjutsu and a few of them were interested in summoning. Both of those he can definitely offer his expertise to. He led the class outside onto the training grounds where he then proceeded with the lesson plan.

He announced to the class to warm up, stretch themselves out. They followed without complain, he made them do twenty push ups and run from one end of the grounds twenty times, after that he instructed them to stretch their bodies to prevent cramps. Afterwards he showed them the basic hand signs associated with their respectable choice (Ninjutsu or summoning) but before he embarked further on that he demonstrated the several basic taijutsu martial stances combat, he kept the speed of his demonstrations slow and even so they could keep up. He kept a eye on each student, making sure they understood and were following his examples correctly, but for the some who didn’t quite get it Masaaki made sure to lend a hand.

It wasn’t long before the whole session was done when he gathered up his class and escorted back inside. This time he tasked them with the job of showing him a string of specific jutsus, the substitution technique and the transformation technique. Again, quite a handful of them performed poorly but most did very well for academy kids. He been in the academy long enough to know the problem was their poor chakra skills, it was undeveloped or not as developed as it should be. Their teacher hasn’t done a good job in that respect it would seem.

Many more hours would follow with the same things, but swapped around so the kids didn’t get bored. By the end of the day Masaaki himself was enjoying himself, the whole thing hasn’t been as troublesome or difficult as he thought. If anything he found teaching the kids to be pleasant. Perhaps when he’s older he might be a academy teacher, who knows. He’ll have to see.

The kids were even happy him as well, their little faces brighten up whenever he return to their class after a short break, eager to learn more. Amusingly they seemed like the most eager kids in the academy. Finally the clock ticked away the last minute and Masaaki was officially finished. “Alright, well done everyone!” congratulated Masaaki, but before he left the class his kids gave him a box of chocolate and a make shrift card thanking him for his contribution. He blushed and grinned and left.

Before he left the Principal caught him and thanked the lad as well. And told him he would be welcomed back to the academy with open arms should he need an extra teacher in the future, or maybe full time.
