"Fuuuck......"Said the very ragged voice of a certain genin.Said genin was none other then Suzaku Sengoku, the man known as the 'Wrathful Genin'.For what, you may ask.Well, for you see, Suzaku has been denied the rank of Chunin on several occasions due to his very angry and agressive nature. It's no wonder why he was 29 and still a genin.Dragging himself out of bed,he looked down his scarred and musculer body, only to see that he was nude.Didn't go to sleep in a pair of jeans last night?A awkward silence filled the room and, deciding that he didn't want to know, decided to leave the topic be.He staggered into his bathroom and began brushing his teeth quickly. He was in a hurry.

For what?To meet the Tsuchikage of course. He had requested to meet the man a few days before, wanting to see just how he is.Hoping that he is atleast strong, he stepped into the shower and quickly rinsed his body of any unwanted substances. He quickly rinsed out his long hair before turning off the running water and stepping out and drying."This man better be worth my time!"He said in a aggrivated tone before heading off to his room.Almost ripping it off it's hinges, he opened his closet door and put on his usual attire.White slacks, white dress shoes, white suit, and red undershirt. He then went to his desk next to bed and fished out a scrungy and wrapped his hair up into his trademark pony tail.He then went to his kitchen and made himself a quick and easy breakfast, which was basically a bowl of cereal.

He sat there in utter silence as he quietly munched on the semi-sweet solids, his mind wandering back to the Tsuchikage. What if he was the opponent he was looking for? What he was as strong as the others say he is?The normally wrathful man couldn't help but feel excited. He quickly finished off the so-called 'food' and headed off, almost breaking down his door in the process.

He walked...er..struted down the street with confidence and purpose.Making his way to the Kage Building, he couldn't help but look at up at the very tall structure, befitting of a person with great power.Anxious, he walked in.However, one does not simply 'walk in'.Oh no, no, no.Next, you have to climb the stares to get to the top where the Kage's office is.Or take the elevator, but where's the fun in that?Wanting a challenge, Suzaku took the stairs and began climbing. And up.And up.And up.And up.Still up.An- I think you get it.Finally, after seemingly a hour,he made his way to the top. While a normal man would be panting for life, Suzaku didn't even break a sweat and went to the secretary in-front of the Kage's office.

"May I help you?"Asked the somewhat dis-interested woman.Suzaku's eye twitched,'Worthless excuse for a excretion respticle.'He yelled in his mind as he opened his mouth to speak."I have a scheduled meeting with the Kage."He said simply, looking down on the woman. She finally looked up at him and quirked a eyebrow."What are you,his date or something?"Suzaku visably tensed as a loud and large cackle of electricity erupted from his body. His eyes stared a major death-glare onto the woman, who nonchalantly raised her hands up in defeat."Take it easy, I was just kidding."She said she typed something on her computer before looking back him.

'If I didn't have so much self-control,I WOULD TEAR YOU TO PIECES, LIMB FROM LIMB!!' Suzaku once again screamed in his mind, wanting nothing more then to strangle impudent bitch for her disrespect. He crossed his arms and began tapping his foot in utter impatience as the woman began typing. It must've been at least thirty minutes when she finally looked back up at him."What is your name?"She asked simply in a bored-toned voice.'WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU DOING THE ENTIRE TIME!"Is what Suzaku WANTED to say, but of course, he didn't and kept his cool for the most part, though, she could sense his rage."Suzaku Sengoku."

The woman nodded and typed for a few minutes before speaking."Ah,there you are.You may go in." With a stressed sigh, Suzaku turned and opened the large, double door of the Tsuchikage's office and looked at him, waiting for a response.

Akira could not help but feel like the paperwork was endless. Some one accused some one else of theft or started a fight of their own. The amount of criminals who had not yet understood his teachings of fear. He would of liked to leave the office and give a bit more of a visual demonstration of the pain he could incur on the flesh of the fools who rose against him in his own country. But alas the advisers who constantly modified his schedule refused to admit such a risk would be worth his time. After all if he was to go out and attempt to murder a group of bandits and some how be overwhelmed they would once again be without a Kage. He doubted they understood the kind of monster he could be but instead he suspected they preferred how he raised the market and how he was raising Iwa up from the depths of despair and debt. Violence was apparently for underlings these days. Still much to his surprise none of the other Iwa nin showed interest in challenging him in any way. He supposed that they simply preferred the comfort and order he provided. Still it was awfully boring.

Today he was wearing his typical suit. The tie tossed to the side and the top two buttons undone. His coat and hat hanging from the coat rack in the corner. The silver shirt tucked into black slacks with an emerald dress vest over it. Black boots decorated his feet With a large dagger strapped to the small of his back. It looked more like a metal claw with a hilt then a dagger but it was still a dagger. His dark hair hung lazily about his shoulders. But everything was tidy about him. Even his forked beard was perfectly trimmed. His yellow eyes didn't sting anymore these days and he had gotten rather accustomed to them.

The office itself had been heavily modified. Now more of an upper floor bunker the walls were reinforced with chakra as was the ceiling. No windows existed on that floor anymore. Without a sufficient level of damage he had managed to leave one two entry points into his office. The first and most obvious of which was the door. Heavy as the door was it was still made from solid oak. It wouldn't stand as much damage as the walls. But if some one chose to come at him through the front doors in a hostile nature he would deal with it. His desk was facing the door and it was made from reinforced stone from the walls. Regardless of what jutsu initially came through those doors if anything the carved desk would withstand the first attack. A shield of sorts. The second entry point people might consider was the chimney. A fireplace he had put in too keep his office warm while he worked. After all living in the mountains could get cold quickly. That and the crackle of fire comforted him. However the fireplace even while no fire burned in it was more difficult to bypass then the door. Razor wire lined the chimney itself. If anyone tried to simply drop down through the chimney they would be cut to ribbons.

The rest of the office was fairly simple. A large leather chair rested behind his desk. Red leather of fine quality. On the other side of the massive desk was a single chair. It looked comfortable enough but it was obviously of inferior quality to the leather chair. Along the wall running on either side of the desk was Filing cabinets and bookshelves. Books of all sorts lined those shelves and the filing cabinets had an impressive lock on each one. In front of the burning fireplace was two red chairs, Big chairs they were. And they looked incredibly comfortable. The glass coffee table sat in the middle between them and on it rested a chess board. The pieces a little worn with use. The wall opposite the fireplace held what appeared to be a liquor cabinet. Filled with some very pricey drinking choices. The remaining wall held the double doors in the center. And around those doors the wall was littered with the framed pictures of the Tsuchikage before him placed in order from left to right. Ugly fellows most of them. But still he kept them there for some form of respect to the history of the place.

Today though he sat behind his desk with pen in hand as he read through several documents. The room itself was well lit and to the right of his hand was a half empty glass of bourbon. The fire burned pleasantly but for the moment he ignored it. The ash tray to his left held a dozen cigarette butts. And the room smelled of the burning wood and the faint smell of tobacco smoke. Still once the door creaked open he raised an eye brow. His eyes instantly shooting to the door. But the door opened with no hint of violent intent. There stood a man watching him. A pony tail and a white suit. The white suit itself seemed a little tacky to him but he would keep that observation to himself. If anything the man looked like a thug. It would be a pleasant change of pace if anyone chose to take him on for the time being. Still he supposed there was some note of this appointment some where. He doubted some one would just stroll in unannounced. His guards would of hospitalized him had the man appeared threatening to them. Or he had dealt with the guards too fast for any of them to alert him and in complete silence. That would be amusing. Though he noted the distinct lack of a headband of any sort so he assumed the man was not a recognized shinobi from anywhere. Who meets with a Kage with out a head band? Still those yellow eyes seemed to burrow into the man. Like the alpha of a pack eyeing a possible challenger he let his eyes roam the man. Not a weapon was visible. When he spoke his words were pronounced clearly but his voice was like silk to the ears. Obviously a man used to speaking and having people listen.

"And you would be?"

Suzaku took the entire sight before him in.The office held a obvious defensive capability as it lacked any windows and Suzaku can faintly feel the chakra coming off the walls.Indeed,it was a very great defense. The walls held pictures of the past Tsuchikages, including Lord Mu and Onoki, possibly the two most famous Tsuchikage's in history. The office even had a fireplace, though Suzaku knew it had to be booby trapped, since it meant a easy way in for intruders. However, he didn't come here to admire the architect of the this building, he came to see if his Kage is indeed worthy to wield someone such as Suzaku. He observed the man with sharp eyes. His eyes glowed yellow in the rather dim darkness of the room, and a suit, similar to Suzaku himself. He had a neatly trimmed beard and medium length black hair.In Suzaku's opinion, he was rather handsome to say the least. He seemed to have been reading somesort of office file or document or something before Suzaku intruded.Seeing the documents, Suzaku was reminded on why he would never become a Kage. Then, the man spoke to him.

"And you would be?"

Suzaku walked towards the man with confidence, not a shred of fear residing in his looks, his movements, or his very being, not that he can be scared in the first place."I am Suzaku Sengoku."He answered in a stern voice.Unlike the Kage, Suzaku's voice was gruff and much more intimidating, even though that is how he naturally sounded. The woman from the counter outside the office came in, not uttering a word to either to of them and handed the Kage a clipboard. From what Suzaku managed to see, it was his information.Name, birthday, wealth, shinobi rank, the reason why he is still a genin, why did he beat that chunin's face-in that one time, the essentials basically. The woman visibly walked a few more feet away then needed from Suzaku before exiting her Kage's office, closing the large doors behind her.Suzaku resumed he mixture of a gaze and glare at the Kage, crossing his arms and deciding to atleast give him sometime to read the clipboard.

As he waited, he resumed observing the rather large space. His eyes wandered to the desk.It was finally crafted from wood, similar to the doors, and looks almost brand-new. His chair was also rather stylish. He looked to the documents. Each one had atleast over five paragraphs on them, not counting the back.Suzaku can already feel his head hurting just by looking at the acursed paper, so resumed his stare at the man before him.

For the moment the individual before him was obviously wanting to appear at least a little stand off ish. The very stature of the individual seemed to be nothing but hostile. To which he let out a sigh and took on a very impatient expression. After all it was becoming far to typical to people to think of him as a politician. Instead of some one capable of turning every bone in the human body to dust, healing it and then doing it again. Most of the records showed that to be an issue with strong willed individuals but typically an example was made and the Kage was left alone. However he doubted very much that such a violent method would serve him for very long. So he had high hopes that he might be able to avoid breaking anyone's will. However time and time against he received glares instead of bowed heads. Still he had high hopes about people being smart enough not to give taking him on a shot. Not just yet anyways. Most of the more powerful members he kept busy with squads to keep their motives pointed elsewhere. Funny how greed could be pushed aside for a more immediate responsibility.

Still the guy introduced himself and approached. But did not take one of the seats set out before him. Instead he stood there glaring with his arms crossed. To which Akira's yellow gaze turned into a look of boredom. While willpower could be admired he suspected that not all the tools in this mans shed where put away properly. He was capable sure but his thought processing ability might be very damaged. Who walks in and tries to glare down a Kage? It was only a moment before his secretary came in. He raised a brow at how she avoided going near the man. A look of disgust on her face for him. She handed him the file and he nodded to her with a wink. She was a fun one to be alone with in his office at night. Soft skin and plump lips. And a very wild side. Still after she left his attention snapped back to the man in front of him as the doors shut before skimming over the papers in front of him. And he took his time doing it too. Finishing off his bourbon before reaching into the pack on his desk and pulling out one of his smokes. Lighting it and letting out a puff of grey. Before leaning back in his chair and looking rather comfortable. He figured he would let this play out. See where it went anyway.

"Suzaku huh? These reports call you a mindless brute. Quick to anger and escalating situations to violence. They don't think you are so much a shinobi as a thug. So I have to wonder. Are you going to behave and take a seat before telling me why you wanted to meet me or are you going to stand there glaring as if to serve some ridiculous testosterone level of yours?"

Suzaku watched at his Kage's own expression turned to one of boredom. He didn't blame him. All this paperwork...Suzaku would've fallen asleep after the first two pages. Another reason why he can't be a Kage, the paperwork also bores him half to death. He watched as the man finished off his addiction and taking out a pack of cigarrettes. Lighting it and letting out a puff of smoke, he seeming relaxed into that expensive hair of his before speaking."Suzaku huh? These reports call you a mindless brute. Quick to anger and escalating situations to violence. They don't think you are so much a shinobi as a thug. So I have to wonder. Are you going to behave and take a seat before telling me why you wanted to meet me or are you going to stand there glaring as if to serve some ridiculous testosterone level of yours?"That brief description pretty much summed up Suzaku in one go, not that Suzaku was a complex individual to begin with.

While normally, Suzaku would've gotten mad, but the tone of the man, the look in eyes, it showed that he did indeed held great power. However, that did not mean Suzaku would just up and leave. Instead, something unexpected happened. Suzaku, actually amused, smirked and chuckled, almost darkly, deciding to play his Kage's game. He plopped down into the seat, leaning back, crossing one leg over the other and crossing his arms. While his rather animalistic glare faded, the situation seemingly didn't. "As you can imagine..." He began, taking a very slightly calmer tone "I am a man of strength, perfering to combat the enemy face to face rather then to stop them in the back. I wish to better myself as a warrior and, if anything, help others aswell." He looked directly into the man's eyes, his smirk long gone and replaced with a serious look, not a angry or annoyed like usual, but serious, and he did not falter either, not that he was from the beginning. "However...those who are weak are not fit to lead unless they wish to become strong enough to protect those who cannot protect themselves."

He looked back at the door, refering to the woman right behind it, working on the computer before he turned back to man. "Many say you are weak or foolish. I wish to know simply this: Are you indeed worthy to lead and protect this village? Do you wish to better yourself and others? Or are you merely doing this for your own gain." Suzaku's eyes narrowed, staring holes at the man. Indeed, he cannot stand those types of people who strive to get a high rank, just to reap the rewards you gain from it. One should go and seek to become even better then they currently are, not just stop where they currently are and just sit in the lap of luxury. Hell, Suzaku himself was rather rich, and even he wasn't doing that, he is trying to become better, faster, stronger then he currently is.

Oh so now the man was being serious. Or as serious as he could be anyway. Akira felt the words leaving the mans mouth were, while foolish, fairly honest. He grinned a little and took another drag of his smoke. The tendrils coming out of the corners of his mouth like some fire breathing demon. He let his yellow eyes sink into a gaze the seemed to penetrate deep into the gaze of the man before him. Searching in the depths of the soul by force almost. As if that yellow gaze could see all the insecurities of those before him. His voice was lowered as he spoke. His gaze never breaking. His tone was calm but something of a danger sense seemed to fill the room. The fire no longer seemed to provide warmth. The smoke from the cigarette in his hand seemed thicker and more pungent. His very presence seemed to fill the room entirely. Like a thin pressure building more and more. It was a simple trick really. All he was doing is loosing his control on his chakra and letting its pure pressure seep from him and fill the room. It was like a silent roar but oh so deafening. Which brought ever more weight to his words.

"Do you think me weak?"

It was obviously a dare to actually try and prove it. He didn't like picking on the lower ranking nin. But if he had to prove his station he was willing to crush whoever tried him. Still without waiting for a response he placed his chakra back under control in a split second. The pressure gone in an instant. As if he held no chakra pressure within him what so ever. He smiled and his yellow eyes seemed to fill with something like an animal staring down another. As if with just a little provocation that chakra would be back and it would crush everything within its reach. Still finally his gaze broke as he rose from his chair and moved over to the liquor. His glass in his free hand. He had moved his hand rapidly to grab the glass without even being noticed by a mere genin. He moved quietly and poured himself some more bourbon before he turned and sipped at it. Chasing it with a drag off of his smoke. His voice when he spoke once more was just as calm but this time held no threat. It sounded patient as if he was simply teaching a need to be known set of facts. And that was his intention anyway.

"And those who would call me weak? They do not say these things anywhere I may here them. They are not motivated by power but by greed. I doubt any straight up conflict would arise with me. At most I can look forward to a knife aimed at my back. But they know if they try and fail. I will rise against them not as the Kage who brought wealth back to the mountain of poverty but as the wrathful being I was before I was Kage. I have torn men apart and spared the innocent. Take your pick of which you think is the bigger show of true power. But know that it is unwise to test me and how far my patience goes."

Suzaku merely stared at the man before him as did a little smile, the smoke escaping from his mouth, as if a bomb just went off in there. Then he seemingly mimiced Suzaku, gazing upon him. Suzaku, of course, did not falter in the least, his serious look still having not changed. Those eyes.... reminded him of those of a Hawk, a fierce bird of prey. How ironic in this case. A mere bird, however, was not enough to even rouse the Vermillion Demon known as Suzaku. Then he felt it, but was not frightened in the least bit. In-fact, he was rather amused. He felt the ever growing pressure growing in the entire room. This man... this man with the eyes of a hawk, he was indeed a powerful being, one that Suzaku hoped to combat in due time."Do you think I'm weak?"Came the simple question, more so a rhetorical one in this situation. Suzaku was clearly amused by this, his serious expression now having changed to a relaxed smile. He leaned into his chair, finally loosing up, and crossing one leg over the other.

Then, it was gone as quick as it came. How sad. And now it seemed that the man was staring him down, much similar to how a killer looks at his victim. Suzaku merely kept his relaxed, amused smile, all of this seemingly fun to him. Suzaku followed the man as he rose, getting another drink he supposed. However, something was off. His glass suddenly became full, while the liquid in the bottle was swishing, as if moved. Suzaku's expression changed once more, this time, to a look of bored. He really was unimpressed, and it was rather obvious what Mr.KageKage over there did. Still, to avoid a argument, he decided not to say anything. Then, he spoke, his voice a rather casual tone then anything else.

"And those who would call me weak? They do not say these things anywhere I may here them. They are not motivated by power but by greed. I doubt any straight up conflict would arise with me. At most I can look forward to a knife aimed at my back. But they know if they try and fail. Take your pick of which you think is the bigger show of true power. But know that it is unwise to test me and how far my patience goes."

With that there was silence. It was almost palpable, and any 'normal' person would feel discomfort. However, these two men are far from normal. Suddenly, he laughed. He laughed loud and long. It was not a laugh of mocking, or a laugh of fear. Oh no. It was genuine laugh. Suzaku stood up, a smile on his face. "You, are indeed a man worthy of the title of Kage." He said crossing his arms. "Those who do not, atleast, state their thoughts about you to your face are nothing but vermin." He said with a scowl. Then, he did the unthinkable. Suzaku extended his hand to the man, a handshake. "Perhaps, in due time, I shall return to spar with you. Being in here all day with nothing but paper-work must be tedious!"

Akira watched as the man laughed and rose. It wasn't exactly the reaction he had been expecting. Nor did it really tell him much of anything. He could still feel a sense of hostility from the man. Not the open kind of hostility of a ready opponent though. No this was just the feeling of a man who was ready to fight at a moments notice. He suspected the man yearned for battle. That was where they differed. Sure, Akira wasn't interested in taking shit from anyone. He admitted to himself then that he was almost as prepared as that man to send another flying through a wall. But he did feel a bit more calm he suspected. As if the world could challenge him but he would move about as he wished and not fight unless provoked. While this Suzaku seemed to be interested in provoking a response. Any response really so long as there was one to be had other then fear. He wondered to himself if there was some hidden purpose to this meeting or if perhaps Suzaku was just that kind of person. A man without faith in something he himself had not witnessed with his own eyes. Perhaps even with his fists.

Still the man spoke and Akira raised an eyebrow. He didn't disagree that those who spoke from the shadows were vermin and weak. But the term vermin usually led to eradication. Not many let a rat remain unbothered in their home. But he did not intend to openly deal with them just yet. He did have his plans but something about the scowl and the way Suzaku said it made him suspect violence could be done from him in Akira's name towards those individuals. If that happened then fear would spread quickly and that was not in the cards just yet. He could not begin his rule with fear. People didn't respect fear, they fought it with pride. No what they respected was prosperity. Enough prosperity at the beginning could turn a blind eye when he made his move against those who spoke against him. If the people themselves didn't do it for him. Still he set down his glass to free up one of his hands and reached out to grasp the hand of the genin before him. Shaking it firmly. He would send someone to keep an eye on this one. To ensure the inevitable was not attempted too soon. Not before his preparations were done. When he was ready the people would not fear him. But praise him for his actions. Still he spoke in return as he released the mans hand.

"Indeed it is but what must be done is to be done regardless of if it suits me." He lied. Everything he did suited him and worked in his favor. And what was in his favor made Iwa stronger every time. "Any time you wish to test yourself though I shall oblige. But do not come against me unprepared. If and when you choose to try me. Come at me with everything you've got. Or don't come at all."

Suzaku could tell the man was surprised by his actions, perhaps, not expecting such a sudden change of heart. He couldn't blame him. Many merely see Suzaku as a heartless beast, with the stage of War being the only place he would ever belong. However, not many, or anybody at all, have tried to dig deeper, to see how he truly is. And, just like his Kage, they would be rather surprised as well. The handshake ending, the man spoke."Indeed it is but what must be done is to be done regardless of if it suits me. Any time you wish to test yourself though I shall oblige. But do not come against me unprepared. If and when you choose to try me. Come at me with everything you've got. Or don't come at all." Suzaku slipped out a rather violent-looking smile. "I never hold back to begin with." He said as he turned and started walking out, chucklling as he opened the door, the woman staring at him blankly.
