Clan History: No extensive records of the Kimura as a clan exist, nor is there any documentation on their bloodline limit. Their history is shrouded in mystery, and their past is known only to the members of the clan themselves.
Before the Kimura were a clan, they were two separate families. One side of the family's origins dates far back to before the era of shinobi villages, when clans warred with each other. They were bloodthirsty killers, assassins contracted to eliminate the targets and enemies of their contractor. They were feared more than they were respected, and often looked down upon for their absence of honour in combat. This side of the family was known to do whatever they had to in order to win a fight or kill their target, no matter how dirty their hands had to get. This nature has trickled down through the generations to the current, living generation of Kimura.
The other side of the family didn't show up until after shinobi villages had been founded. Their origins are rather sketchy, though the consensus is that this side of the clan originated in the Earth Country and migrated to the Fire Country around the time of Konohagakure's founding. Before the two families merged, this side of the clan was known to be incredibly loyal to the village. Through thick and thin, they stuck with the village and did everything they could to benefit it. Sacrificing themselves on missions or in combat, participating in teaching at the academy or volunteering to take on genin squads, and most of all, never abandoning the village. This side of the family was also very skilled with their element affinity, and after many generations, they perfected and reduced the amount of chakra needed to produce an equally effective technique.
When the two clans merged after the marriage of Rokuro Nii'gata and Haruko Kimura, their reputation was merged as well. The Kimura side had weaseled its way into the inner workings of Konohagakure and its government, and with the addition of the bloodthirsty nature of the Nii'gata, who were contract killers, the clan became the village's go-to group for dirty work where the ANBU forces were not applicable. Typically, this involved the murder of corrupt politicians or other important persons, where the village's association would rather not have been involved. The clan has kept a low profile over the years, members often use false surnames to keep attention away from their affiliation to the clan.
Kekkei Genkai Description: The Kimura bloodline is simple yet uncommon among it's members. Not every child is guaranteed to possess the ability, as the bloodline lays dormant in some while is activated at an early age for others. All members of the Kimura carry the bloodline, yet only a select few can use it.
- Members possess the ability to mold chakra through their lungs and mouths without using hand seals.
- Chakra costs for techniques of their primary element are one rank less than normal to use, so long as the technique used is a ninjutsu technique. This reduction is applicable for every technique above E Rank.
Drawbacks:
- Members cannot start with, learn, or train Genjutsu.
- Techniques that utilize a quaternary element cost one rank more than normal to use.
- It is uncommon for Kimura to defect from Konohagakure, as they are very loyal by nature to the village.

Description: A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into the primary affinity or secondary element of the user and is then expelled from the mouth in the form of a breath or stream. Despite the technique using basic nature manipulation concepts, only members of the Kimura clan can preform it due to the absence of hand seals. The form of the projectile depends on the nature affinity of the user.
Fire Release Variant: The user ejects a ball of fire from their mouth. The size of the fireball is comparable to a Goukakyuu fireball with similar destructive power. It will leave a crater like Goukakyuu, but does not possess enough concussive lethality to kill on contact. If the flames come into direct contact with the flame projectile, the resulting damage will be moderate to severe second degree burns and tissue damage. The flames take on properties of actual fire and will continue to burn if there is sufficient fuel available, though the fireball itself will stay active for two posts.
Water Release Variant: The user ejects a jet of water from their mouths that is similar to the Water Trumpet technique. The destructive power of the jutsu is not very similar to the technique, however, and can expel up to 5 cubic meters of water in the form of a stream over the span of a few seconds. The jutsu does not possess enough concussive lethality to break bones, but minor fractures and moderate bruising can be sustained if the water makes direct contact. The possibility to inflict minor to moderate damage to the outer layers of skin also exists, if they were within five meters of the water jet's origin.
Wind Release Variant: The user inhales a large amount of air into their lungs and expels a concussive spherical projectile similar to Renkuudan from their mouths, but on a smaller scale. The blunt power and effects of the jutsu are more comparable to Reppushou. The blast of air has enough power to blow enemies back away from the user, but doesn't do much damage other than that. Minor to moderate bruising may be sustained depending on how close the user is to the target. Projectile lethality is also increased as much as 50% (a projectile that would cause a 1 inch gash would then cause a 1.5 inch gash), and the blast of air can deflect up to five E or D Rank weapon projectiles.
Earth Release Variant: The user exhales a stream of muddy earth from their mouths. The mud doesn't have much effect offensively, but it can be used to create a slick battlefield or blind an opponent if the mud is aimed toward the target's eyes. At most, the stream can cause moderate bruising. This variation can also be used to create earth where it would otherwise be unavailable, and can be used for other techniques that would require a source of earth, as it can produce up to five cubic meters of mud.
Lightning Release Variant: The user is able to exhale multiple bolts of lightning out of their mouths over a wide range, around one hundred eighty degrees in front of the user. The bolts of lightning cannot be precisely aimed and will dissipate quickly after leaving the user's mouth, however if released at point blank range the most severe resulting effect can be moderate second degree burns and moderate numbness or loss of motor function in the afflicted limbs, though these effects will only last for the duration of the afflicted target's turn.
