A blond over looked the village of rock and watched the people go on with there everyday lives. Masa by her side Junko ran her hand throw the red and white fur that was soft to the touch. With a small smile Masa wags her tail and licks at her partner’s face. The blue eyed blond stood up and patted the dog on the head as she walked over to the water fall. Watching the waterfall from the rocks she felt slightly calm and happy for the time being.

There were limits to the beast's actions, but it did not matter to him most. At this time of day, he wanted relaxation, away from the villagers, away from everyone that reminded him of his past. And what better to satisfy those needs then a "nice" walk to the Waterfall Point. The sun was shining; usually common in Iwagakure. Mountains were at their highest peak, good day for training. But taking a break was all that mattered.

Mujin saw the springs of the Waterfall go down fluently and at a medium pace; remembrance of what it used to be with his mother. His traditional attire: Ninja pants, -Iwagakure style- Jounin flak jacket; even his own jacket from home. It was a beautiful day outside, hopefully Mujin would not start trouble on such a beautiful day. Although he dislikes Iwagakure with a passion, this was still his home. The Inuzuka pack of his family were raised here; no disrespect was given when Mujiin's hatred swelled up on the inside.

Upon walking to the point, he eyed a small blond girl; fragile looking, young, with a ninken at her side. Accompanying by a ninken without the use of a summoning, he noticed she was apart of the Inuzuka clan, since the Inuzuka clan's were the only clan that can frolic around with pets of their own. Mujin did not want one, but will get one eventually; sooner or later. Wanting to make small talk was pointless to the Jounin, but it was someone from his clan; so mutual respect was given either way.

"A beautiful day we are having this afternoon..."

A dark, yet sensible tone of voice came from the Jounin's mouth. He felt little symphony for those around him, but the younger generation, he was fond of. Probably because they had a future ahead of them, and that his future was chosen at birth, or so it seemed to him. Maybe he can, one day, get this hatred and darkness out of his system. Maybe one day; he can be and will be good for a change. What was he thinking? Of course not.

Looking up at the white haired man she noticed right away that he was high ranking. At first she worried something was going on, but he seemed to calm to be here to tell her something bad. He seemed nice and all not that bad. Masa beside her had her tail high in the hair and she was watching every move the man made. Ready to attack if he looked like he was going to make a move to hurt them.

“Oh Masa calm down.” she told the dog with a light tone.

“Yes is a wondering day. Hello I’m Inuzuka Junko and this is Masa.” She smiled as she finished that sentence.

Mujin closed his eyes. The Waterfall Point was never more beautiful then it had insured itself to be. The birds were chirping; happily singing the melodic tune. Very common in Iwagakure. The sun was shining quite brightly, having the Jounin feeling a little heated -weather-wise- from the intense clothing he wore, but that did not matter to him at all. While his eyes were closed, he crept a small smile, reassuringly in deep thought. He remembered his mother telling him the same thing. Yes... Her voice echoed inside his head, It is a beautiful day son. Her heavenly voice inside his head was what kept him sane for many years now.

Hearing the voice of the young girl that spoke to him, he gradually opened his eyes; his light blue eyes. His sharp canine teeth made its way, ascending from his gums. The beast-like nature had already settled in, so no need for hostility on his part. Hearing what she told her ninken, he had suspected her ninken was suspicious about his presence. Who wouldn't? But when the girl told him of her identity, the last name Inuzuka rang a bell in his hearing. The faint name of the Inuzuka. She was from his pack as well, seeing that her rank was sufficiently low, genin rank at that. Yes; mutual respect was given.

"Nice to meet the both of you. I am an Inuzuka as well... Mujin Inuzuka..."

It would be better if she was the only person to know of his identity. If she did not know of what happened recently, then maybe informing her of his name was a good thing. If she did happen to know, well then, he decided his next move. Would she go back and tell the Tsuchikage? The answer was beyond him. If she did, he did not care. It was still such a beautiful day out. He thought of the Tsuchikage's response if she had heard that Mujin was not really deceased, but only a mere ghost. As if anyone in Iwagakure believed in ghosts nowadays.

Hearing he was from her pack made her really happy. She hadn’t met many members from the pack. Some secret or something but she wasn’t going to let her family tell her how to treat people. Junko sat down cross legged and Masa laid her head down on her knee still watching Mujin, but she was calmer as well knowing she could trust a pack mate. There red and white ninken relaxed as her partner pet her and Mujin looked calm enough that they should be good.

Looking over at Mujin with her light blue eyes she wondered why he didn’t have a ninken... Then she remembered that some people have lost there friends in combat, so she knew that it was better than to ask. She looked down at her ninken with loving eyes and wondered what she would do if she lost her. That would be a sad day ad she hopes for it never to happen.

He seemed upset and sad about something. She had to make him feel a little better it way just the way she was. Now the only problem was to get Masa to help her. The ninken was so stubborn at times. Don’t get her wrong it was a good thing every now and again, but it was also a pain in the butt. She grabbed the red bandanna around Masa’s neck and untied it to show the long scar on her left shoulder. Tracing it lightly she had told Masa what she had wanted her to do.

With a huff the ninken got up and walked over to Mujin. She sniffed him a few times then sat down next to him. When Junko smiled at her she knew she had done a good job and Masa wagged her tail lightly. Giving Mujin another sniff she was letting him know it was ok to touch her.

Feeling of symphony. The scarred feeling of "affection" and "generosity" did not cloud Mujin at this time of day. Of course, hatred welled up inside of him and released itself at one point in time, but was Mujin really that bad? Yes, he was. An Inuzuka with a past of pure hatred and despair; he brought nothing but devastation everywhere he went. He did not matter to him at all. Who was there to be with him when his hatred took over completely? No one. And no one will feel how he feels daily to certain days. It was the feeling of hate. And hate itself was his motivation.

Then there was his mother, his sweet and delicate mother. She had a ninken of her own, apart of the Inuzuka clan from her ancestors. His father; his hateful, ungrateful father. A jounin ninja who was a prodigy in the art of Kenjutsu and Chakra Flow, hearing the stories when he was much younger. That was where Mujin got majority of his hatred from. And then there was the village iself; Iwagakure. The Village Hidden in the rock. It was such a peaceful village, yet the peaceful village that he despised so much of.

Mujin saw the ninken at his side, comforting him from below. He didn't know whether to feel remorse and leave it at that, but this ninken was kind to him by her owner's orders. He was able to touch the ninken, but decided not to. The only ninken that he would touch would be his mothers. And even that ninken is nowhere to be found after so many years. He wanted to leave, but leaving the two by themselves would be wrong since they were giving him kindness.

"Why... why are you showing me kindness?"

Masa looked up at the man then laid down by Mujin. Normally people would want to pet her but someone that didn’t want to touch her through her a little. Why he was sad was unknown but she knew that Junko wouldn’t stop til she could help. Nuzzling his hand Masa showed him her scar.

Junko looked over and told him, “Some people think that when you scared its the way you always going to be. Masa was scared as a puppy and no one believe anyone would want her. My mom found her and helped her live because she believed that everyone just needs to be given a chance.

Masa is trying to show you that she may have been scared and marked as unwanted, but now... She’s my best friend....”

-- OOC: My apologies for the short post. --

Best friend. Those two words. Did Mujin have a best friend with him at all times? No. Or maybe, maybe not. Having a best friend never occurred to the beast while growing up. His world was just consumed by the emotion of hatred. He brought despair and nearly death anywhere he went. He was a menace and even faked his own death. No one cared to be Mujin's "best friend". And he certainly did not care either. But hearing this girl's story of her ninken and how her mother found her and helped her live was somewhat touching. It made Mujin feel, a sort of different feeling than most emotions he would feel both inside and out. It was the feeling... of sadness.

Who was Mujin kidding? Why was he having these feelings of remorse and sadness? Was it because of the Inuzuka genin? Or her stories? He needed to regain his conscience back in order and focus on the hate of this village and everyone in it, except the Inuzuka pack since he was the alpha male and primarily had to set a good example for the younger generation. He needed to regain his black thoughts together, and stop worrying for the weak. But this girl... he could not put his finger on the fact. Masa was the dog's name. Masa was her ninken. Mujin shifted his gaze downward, eying the scar that Masa had shown to him. Domestic violence, animal abuse.

"I see... You must really love Masa, don't you...?"

Masa looked up at the alpha and gave a half bark half huff. He wasn’t listening to Junko. The girl may not notice his sent but even the high ranking need to learn a thing or two from pups. She gave a thump of her red and white tail before scratching her side. Think, think, what is a ninken to do...

Junko stood up and brushed the dirt off her pants. How could she get through to him. She wanted to be up front with him but she wasn’t sure what to do. Seeing this Masa walked over and bit her hand, drawing blood. Shocked Junko just watched as the dog licked at the blood then stared into Mujin’s eyes.
