- OOC:
Just gonna finish the mission in this last post
Kamikira noted the commotion going on below her, but wouldn't let it bother her too much. She quietly looked around, waiting on her student to give his ready signal, showing that he could proceed now. After a few minutes and more attacks, the kid wanted her to just wait around. She sighed, as he sent up two water clones to talk with her a moment, telling her what the kid had planned, and what he was asking her to do. Apparently there was a nice little suspicious shop around the corner on the way to the mission objective and that could prove dangerous for the convoy of precious cargo. Unfortunately it was too far for the water clones to go to, but perfect for the Ronin. She shook her head a bit, and sighed.
'Very well,' she thought to herself solemnly.
'Whatever would make this mission go quickly and smoothly.' The ronin quietly looked toward her objective, spinning her scythe around in her hand for a few moments before rushing off towards the new sub-goal.
She moved her form quickly, making it to the rooftop of the suspicious shop around the corner ahead of the group. Quietly and quickly she hopped down to the ground in an alley way on the side of said building, peeking around the corner. There was only one assassin standing guard outside the door and he wasn't paying much attention. He had an arrow gun in his hands and was looking up at the sky, yawning. She whistled softly, and hid behind the corner, waiting for him to investigate. Once he began to come around the corner, she twirled her scythe around in her hand, swinging it around the corner as the man came. The scythe blade was behind his neck, and before he knew what was going on, she yanked it through, decapitating the man. His head rolled into the alley and his body fell into a heap upon the ground. Kamikira pulled the body into the alleyway as well, coming around the corner to the front of the shop, peeking in the window on the door. There were four seven-bells ninja in there, with two in the back, and one on opposite sides of the room. The two in the rear were obvious archers while the other two each held kunai with explosive tags on them. This was going to be quite annoying.
She began to reach for the door knob, before she noticed a massive amount of explosive tags hooked to the door, primed to explode when somebody opened said door. Clever, but Kamikira left the door alone going back into the alleyway. She found a side door which lead into the back of what she could only guess was a bookshop that the seven-bells were in and she checked this door for traps. Just as she thought, there were explosive tags there too. But the wire around the door knob acting as fuse and primer was a bit loose. Sloppy. She opened the door slowly, unwrapping the wire from the doorknob and letting it drop from her grip. Soon she had entered the side door, being behind the two archers, the two of them nonchalantly talking about stories from their past, or the women they wanted. Well, it was too bad they wouldn't get any of them. Kamikira was a bit disgusted at how these men talked about the women and instead of simply killing them, she went back and grabbed their explosive tags. With a quickness she stuck both of the archers with one tag each and used the other tags to put onto the other two men, the tags above the door, and next to the door. Her tag next to the doors exploded, creating her exit.
Once she had exited the building and began to run safely, the building exploded in a fiery display of body parts, blood, and debris from the building itself. The explosion attracted more archers and they immediately began to fire upon her as she was running through the street. Kamikira moved her body up to the roof tops once more, swinging her scythe at the first archer to cross her path. She sliced his throat open and continued along. Her cloak was reinforced so it blocked the incoming projectiles exceptionally well, and she felt them bounce off to the ground, useless and pitiful. There were six archers left. Three on her rooftop, and one across the street, all of them firing arrows at her, and trying to kill her if they could.
Sadly for them, they did not have the abilities necessary to go through with killing her. She was all but impenetrable when it came to their puny arrows, and at one point she stood around, letting them fire at her just to get a laugh. Once she had gotten the laugh she wanted, she moved to the first group of three, dodging arrows aimed towards her face, and jumped into the air, twirling her scythe around above her head. They foolishly looked up and watched her movements instead of continued to attempt killing her. Her crimson eyes reflected against star light, glaring down at them as she fell towards the larger archer in the middle, bringing her scythe blade down on him. It cut from his collar bone, diagonally through his chest, out by his hip. The man's form fell to the ground in two parts, the other archers swinging their bowguns at Kamikira. She moved backwards, dodging the attacks and sighed, looking at each of the men in turn. They were so pitiful and frail, how did they become rogue ninja?
Kamikira swung her scythe around her, twirling in a circle, to bring the blade through each of their throat, slicing it open and causing the to bleed profusely from the new wounds, dying within a matter of minutes. Now just the three on the other rooftop and she could be done with this, and go home. She was tired of this mission already and the archers got annoying after a while of feeling their arrows hit you every few seconds. Her back and arms, as well as her chest, were beginning to feel somewhat numb and it annoyed her to know it was caused by those harmless arrows. She'd have to deal with these other guy first, and kill any at the goal. They were only fourty or so meters from it now anyway, so killing these guys and a few more at the safe zone sounded like the end of it. At least for her part of the job. The same could not be said for her student, but she had faith in him.
She quickly jumped over to the other rooftop, standing there and grinning at her quarry. They were going to die painful deaths. At least she though so before one of them looked at her and maniacally laughed, forming a handseal. The other two did the same and upon closer inspection, the ronin noticed explosive tags were everywhere on this rooftop. So, they planned to kill her by killing themselves. Smart, but not smart enough. She still had good protection from the tags, but not in this high of a number. She quickly put her scythe back into the loop hole like sheathe upon the back of her cloak, turning to run in the opposite direction. She jumped into the air, to get away as the rooftop went up in an explosive force, breaking nearby windows and sending debris and soot everywhere. The building itself was now burning and kamikira had been flung into a fruit stall, breaking it horribly. She managed to stand, coughing a bit and stretching. Her cloak had protected her for the most part, but that landing sure hurt like hell.
Quietly she began to run towards the goal, ignoring the numbness having been replaced with sharp pains that would continue to irritate her as she made her way. The pains were mainly in her leg, and she had to stop to rest on her way to the safezone. Only five meters to go and she had an injury, that was terrible. Upon lifting up her cloak, Kamikira noticed a piece of glass sticking out of her calf. She sighed, and pulled it out, the glass having been larger than she though, at about three inches long and five wide. She had been extremely lucky that it didn't break inside her or hit a nerve or vein. Looking around, she grabbed a banner for a shop and tore it down the middle. Afterwards she wrapped it around her new wound tying it to keep herself from bleeding out and dying from such a minor wound. After she was all patched up, she stood once more, running the five meters into the safe zone, looking around hurriedly for any signs of danger that might impede their progress or success of the mission. Finding nothing, Kamikira quietly went to the administration building to find medical attention and to rest up, as she was sure soon they would be starting another mission that would be just as annoying as this one. If not more so. She had noticed that only during these missions she'd done with her new student had he really been of any use to her as thus far. They were both still relatively week but hopefully doing things like this would completely change that. Well, missions and training would change that, sometimes more of one than the other, you couldn't always balance them. As she reached the administration building she huffed a bit, and entered, to get to the medical wing and get patched up while awaiting her student. While she awaited him she thought back to the night they had first met and how quickly she had accepted him. Did she really already have a soft spot for that littler twerp? No, she must be out of her mind or something. Well at least she hoped she was, because she definitely still hated men. Hated or not though, the kid had wormed his way into her thoughts and made her feel she wanted him alive.
