Nakashima Ryou
D-rank
Once again Nakashima found himself looking at the mission board in search of his next exciting adventure, the only problem now is that the reality of these missions was starting to set in. Nakashima noticed he either had to do painfully boring missions that did not benefit him in anyway to become a high class ninja or he would have to take on more life threatening mission. Although at this level most of these life threatening mission were simply dealing with a wild animal, the thought of making a wrong step and dying scared him. But as this was the job role he had chosen for himself, he had to deal with this, Nakashima thought to himself that he would just have to become the strongest so that no one would be able to end his life, the hard part was getting to that level.
The mission that caught Nakashima Kaneko most was 'Cleanie Cleanie' from the description the mission simply to become a street cleaner for the day. Nakashima had to turn up, and clean the streets. He thought to himself this is an easy mission and I can get away with practically doing nothing like I used to back in the academy days. It even stated that supplies would be given out when you arrive at the job, to Nakashima this meant that he would not even need to buy supplies as they were free. Although he would feel bad about being payed for nothing he thought to himself, I am a ninja why am i doing these kind of jobs and secondly it is only going to get dirty again the next day anyway.
Nakashima arrived at the place designated on the mission board not very eagerly awaiting a day full of cleaning, or in his case finding a nice place to sit and drink or to sleep. He was greeted by a rather elderly man who handed him a broom and said now off you go, clean the streets iwagakure, like I have my entire life. Nakashima kind of felt bad for the old guy, doing this your entire life really, he did not think anyone could actually do this their whole entire life without going insane or worse, but I guess this guy was a little creepy. Although by hearing this guys sad sop story it did not make Nakashima want to clean any extra then he was required. Nakashima began by actually sweeping th streets clean and then lost all motivation when after he had just cleaned the street to an almost sparkle effect one of the cooks from the local restaurant walked out with a bucket full of god knows what and poured it onto the street. It is safe to assume that Nakashima was not happy in the slightest. He almost yelled at the man but then thought to himself he does not want to start anything that may cause him to be payed for his work. So with that Nakashima walked over to the restaurant and sat at the stool under the table. He ordered his favorite Ramen with pork and began to wait for it to be cooked. When it arrived he began to devour it and when he was almost finished he tipped his bowl onto the floor and walked out. He almost felt bad because it tasted so good that it was wasting it. But the man had to be taught a lesson. He returned to the old man whom had handed him the broom and asked how do you do this every day with so many people like that in this village. He was answered with a shrug and a sad answer saying this is all I can do to provide for my family.
