Description: The user releases a thick mist from his or her mouth or uses a water source around him or her to create the mist. This effectively acts as a cover for the user. Doujutsu such as the sharingan are incapable of seeing through it, since the mist is kneaded with the user's chakra. The byakugan, however, can bypass this mist.

Description: The user must raises their hand to their mouth, giving them the appearance of playing a trumpet, as they spew a jet of water from their mouth with power equivalent to an industrial fire hose. The jet can be targeted at an opponent to disorient them for a moment and deal minor bruises, but its primary use is to combat other jutsu. By aiming the jet of water at a Katon technique of C-Rank or lower, any incoming offensive jutsu of D-Rank, or E-Rank projectiles, they may easily nullify the attack by putting out its flames or knocking it off-course; the jet of water will also be nullified in the process, limiting this to defending against one jutsu per use. Raiton jutsu cannot be defended against with this.

Description: The user exhales water vapor invisible to the naked eye, then makes it condense in countless baseball-sized globules. At this point, (s)he can wait however long she pleases to activate the technique. Over the course of 2 posts, she may make the globules explode into a froth of seafoam. It's quite startling, and is useful for confusing or catching targets off-guard; their field of vision is also obscured from many angles.. The seafoam lasts 2 posts after the end of this jutsu before dissipating into regular water.

Description: The Water Clone Jutsu is similar to the Shadow Clone Jutsu except it creates clones out of water that have one-tenth of the original person's chakra. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water. Water clones are capable of only using suiton jutsu provided they have enough chakra to cast it. A maximum of six clones may be created at any one time. The clone automatically disperses when it runs out of chakra, or when hit by any attack that can cause a noteworthy level of physical damage [second/third degree burns, broken bones, stab wounds, etc] or a C-rank/2 D-Rank offensive jutsu.

Description: The user expels water from his or her mouth in order to trap an opponent for a certain amount of time. However, once the target is trapped, the user must maintain close physical contact with the sphere, meaning that he or she must also remain in place. Once the contact is broken, the jutsu is completely dissolved. The person within the prison is unable to escape unless he or she makes the user break contact with the sphere. This can be done by use of any raiton technique, since contact with water would electrocute the user. The user cannot use another technique while this one is in play. Techniques that have been previously set, however, are not cancelled.

Description: The user performs the tiger sign while he/she kneads chakra, and converts it into water, and then spits it out in the form of condensed balls. This technique is similar to the Hozuki's clans Water Gun Technique. The high-speed water ball attack possesses just enough power to tear exposed skin and if hit directly knock the person back 7 meters, as well as bruising. The user can fire up to 8 water balls and each ball costs 5 chakra to create. The user is required to fire at least 2 balls per posts.

Description: The user spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility, slowing them by 40% before immobilizing them if they remain in the substance for two posts. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally 10 meters in radius. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channeling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand (Supernatural Walking Practice) which causes no slowing or immobilizing effects and removes any that has occured.

Description: The user spits out a large volume of bubbles which covers the ground and reduces friction, considerably slowing the opponents' movements by one rank. The bubbles are spit out with violent force that is capable of washing away most attacks, mostly ones dealing with oil and fire techniques that are of equal or lesser rank. This technique can also be used as an effective smokescreen to escape a thread. This technique requires 15 chakra to perform.

Description: Water gushes out from the mouth like a waterfall and pushes the opponent back 9 meters and causes slight bruising. This technique can be used strategically in a number of ways. Having many variations, this is a basic Suiton tecnique and requires 15 chakra per blast. Due to the nature of water, this technique works especially well against smoke-based attacks and can be used to douse fires. The damage output from this ability is not severe as it is mainly a force to be pushed back and pinning them for a short moment, interrupting the opponent which they can recover from.

Description: This technique will create a fast jet of water running through the ground that is powerful enough to slice through solid rock and C-rank Doton. While the user can have this jet chase down the target at speeds rivaling their own, it can be somewhat easily avoided if the target can jump high enough to clear over it. The jet can cut up to 4in into targets with a direct hit. If used with a pre-existing source of water, this technique's potency increases; the user can conjure water jet cutters (3/4in thick) that can be shot quickly and with fair accuracy at targets. These can pierce straight through a human, even bone, and can also crush a 2m radius of stone or B-rank Doton around them. Up to 4 of these can be shot per post.

Description: Using this technique, the user gathers some water from the air and surrounding environment into exactly one thousand long needles. He/She then directs them to a specific target at high speed, leaping backwards before impact so he/she does not get caught in the crossfire. While the needles do surround a target from all sides, they don't appear above the target, creating a 2 second limit to escape. The user can perform this jutsu with one-handed seals, allowing him/her to pin an opponent's arm and attack while they cannot use any techniques themselves. The needles themselves are 8 inches in length and are able to move up to high speeds, capping at 40 m/s. The needles can pierce through C-Rank armor and below as well as penetrate 1 inch into the targets skin. The technique requires 20 Chakra to perform.

Description: The user spits an abundance of water from their mouth. The exact amount is dependent on the amount of chakra used: 20 chakra (B-Rank) can only make 1/2 of an acre foot of water, 25 chakra (A-rank) can make 1 acre foot, and 30 chakra (S-Rank) can produce a total of 1.5 acre feet of water. This is primarily used to give the user an advantage by providing lots of water for their other jutsu, but it can also be used to knock to opponent over with a wave, stunning them for 1 post if the wave is B-Rank, and 2 posts if the wave is A-rank or higher. This stun only takes effect if the opponent hit by the wave is within 20 meters of the user, when the wave still has plenty of force.

The ideal place to use it is near a body of water, but it is possible to use it even in a place where there is none. The dragon moves at an average speed at first but increases over the posts.

Description: This defensive technique creates a wall of water around the user. Enemy attacks are completely intercepted by a fence of water blown out from the mouth, and is raised from below with tremendous might. The water is blown out in the form of a semi-circle around the user, and it makes for an effective defense for straight aim techniques. It is also possible for the user to control the amount of water and duration at will depending on the user's skill (B-SS). The wall's strength can over come two techniques of equal rank and one of a rank higher. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained while defending one can easily perform another technique, which is a great advantage. The wall can also be formed from a pre-existing water source.

Description: This is a technique which creates a spring or pond in a place without water veins or manipulates the resulting water current to increase its size. Ten thousand gallons can be created every turn. This is a very convenient technique as it can be used for other suiton techniques that require a water source. On the other hand, because it changes the environment on a large scale, it also has the effect of hiding one's location from the enemy by confusing them. Those with Doujutsu that can sense chakra are able to nullify the effect. While active this technique requires 15 chakra every post.

Description: This technique extends water over a large scale, surges and rises up to rises seven meters into the air, with the eye of the vortex facing the target and user in the middle. The vortex then accelerates forward ripping through ground in one big cascade, much like a gigantic waterfall. In doing so, it resembles a huge typhoon, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilization is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster. The vortex can cut through armor (B-Rank below), create 7 cm deep lacerations, as well as drown the target. The technique can be performed twice and those with more experience (Suiton A-SS) can fire two vortexes at the same time. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique costs 25 chakra. If a second vortex is created, this jutsu costs 50 chakra.

Description: The caster of this jutsu creates water in his hand, spinning it in the process. He compacts the water and launches it at his opponent. It moves in a swilling current that is 10 meters in every dimension. It moves at 50m/s, and can take off limbs if it hits directly. It can crush bones and major organs on impact, effectively killing the target. By spending 10 more chakra, the caster can expand the current rapidly on impact, making something similar to an explosion of water. This gives the jutsu the ability to hit multiple targets. This jutsu can also be used as a parent jutsu in a collaboration technique.

- Name: Water Release: Water Dragon Biting Explosion (水遁・水龍咬爆 ~ Suiton: Suiryū Kōbaku)

Description: During the first post, the user creates a large pool of water of a 15 meter radius that shoots numerous water bullets at them from below upwards to 15 meters in the air to form into a water cloud. The water bullets do not pierce the skin but pack a punch causing damage that bruise the opponent but could break bones on impact with such force moving at 25mps. They are one foot in radius and ten bullets are used during this process one after another in various areas through the mass pool of water. The second post then finishes by forming the water bullets that created a water cloud in the air into a water dragon which attacks the target, crashing into the target forcing them to the ground. The water dragon moves at 30 mps and breaks bones during impact. It is 3 metres in width and 20 metres in length and uses a loud roar before charging 3 seconds after.
Lightning abilities at S rank can negate this ability causing it to dissipate along with other abilities at SS. Fire has no effect against it.
