Clan History: The Lee family is unfortunately not well known throughout Konohagakure. Most members are in hiding or do not wish to show their inability to use ninjutsu or genjutsu. They are an old clan, formed near the creation of Konohagakure. The clan did not own a funny looking eye, or some special jutsu. This is the main reason the clan is not well known at all, and many have not even heard of it. The Lee clan is only still around because of the will of the members, being known to be fierce, honorable warriors that never give up. They are usually bullied by fellow clans and shinobi for their negatives, but are not totally useless. The clan is able to perform taijutsu at amazing speeds, and is known for their unique taijutsu.
The Lee clan helped Konohagakure greatly in the first shinobi war, when full on taijutsu users were not expected at all. When put in squads, they could gang up on enemies and destroy other squads easily.
The most known member of the Lee clan is most definitely Rock Lee. He had the most willpower out of any member to ever be a part of the Lee clan, and had the taijutsu skills of a splendid ninja. He nearly defeated the boy that carried the legendary one-tailed beast Shukkaku when he was just a genin. After the fight, he was injured badly, and was thought to never be able to be a shinobi again. But Lee ended up being healed by the legendary 5th hokage, Tsunade. Before Lee even fully recovered, he fought Kimimaro and survived his first form. He also fought Kisame with Might Guy, Tenten, and Neji Hyuga.
Kekkei Genkai Description: The Lee clan have always been renowned for their use of Taijutsu skills, making them, sought after and skilled shinobi when it comes to close, physical combat. And since the clan is so dedicated to taijutsu, they may also take both speed and strength in the taijutsu specialization.
Because of their dedication to the physical side of combat and rigorous training to get to that point, all members of the Lee clan remain conscious even after having dropped to the remaining ten of their chakra. Once a member of this clan has reached between 6-10 chakra, they still remain consciousness and just operate with -1 rank of strength and speed.
The Lee clan members are also, some of the only shinobi to master the ability of opening the Eight Gates. They have achieved this ability by breaking down the walls that control the chakra flow, through sheer will power alone, allowing them to surpass the usual physical barriers with ease.
For example, a normal human can only operate with 20% muscle use, whereas a member of this clan can use up to 100% without causing any permanent damage.
The user can start at any gate, depending on their rank as it will still cost the same as if they were opening the previous gates before it.
However, while each gate pushes the shinobi to be better and stronger, it can also bring on new drawbacks with each opening, increasing the risk to cause more damage and possibly death to the user, if used in an improper manner.
Drawbacks: Because of their absolute dedication to the traditional fighting style, members of the lee clan are unable to take on another specialization. Elements start at rank D.
They receive -1 to Ninjutsu and Genjutsu techniques, and are unable to learn academy techniques that are not Taijutsu based, so they can learn supernatural walking, and the substitution technique. All members have a one track mind, this cannot be balanced with a positive. The clan cannot take hesitant.

Description: By using a special technique, passed down through the Lee bloodline, the user is able to channel extreme concentrations of chakra in to their leg, until the limb starts to take on a slight glow.
Then, while releasing that chakra, the user jumps forward in to a spinning kick which has the force and speed to cause deep bruising and fractures.

Only after the third gate has been opened, the user is able to unleash enough chakra to push their muscles to maximum potential. Allowing the user to then, unleash a combination of attacks which knocks the opponent in to the air and strike up to 20 times before landing a final, finishing open palm strike kick, that crashes them to the ground.
This attack leads to deep brusing, fractured and broken bones. Death can also occur unless the opponent is one rank or higher.

Description: The user punches the ground with amazing force, causing an earthquake to form that launches the opponent into the air. The user then jumps and attacks the opponent multiple times extremely fast. The user then slams the opponent back down to the ground. This technique leaves a 10 meter tall and wide crater. This technique also requires the 7th gate to be opened. The target receives many broken bones and death will almost always occur.

Description: A powerful technique and gateway technique for many of the Lee clan’s jutsu, jutsu which require 8 gates to use have their power increased by +1 rank. By opening their core chakra gates, they let flow massive sums of energy into their bodies. By paying -10 additional chakra the user is able to open the next gate in succession to a total of eight, each gate unlocks the ability to use stronger skills and achieve stronger effects, and is most notably considered by many to be one of, if not the most, powerful taijutsu technique in konoha, if not the ninja world.
The Gate of Opening: (C rank)
(-5 chakra per turn)
Upon activation the user will take on a slightly green glow, opening the ability to use C rank and lower techniques which require Eight Gates to perform. The user receives a +30% bonus to their speed and reaction speed giving them an edge in combat. Discontinuing the jutsu at this rank causes no negative effects…
The Gate of Healing: (C rank)
(-5 chakra per turn)
Straining their body harder the user gets a +40% bonus to speed causing the ground behind them to ripple, still giving them the ability to use only C rank and lower jutsu requiring 8 Gates. Discontinuing 8 gates at this rank reduces the ninjas strength and speed by -1 rank for 2 turns.
The Gate of Life: (B rank)
(Requires Chuunin, -10 chakra per turn)
The user’s eyes turn pitch white, eliminating their iris’ and their pupils with ivory whites. This state gives the user the ability to use B rank and lower jutsu which require 8 Gates. Increasing the physical statistics of the user by 30% (Strength, speed and reaction time), simply running at this rank causes the earth at 1m either side of the ninja’s feet to rip up behind them. Discontinuing 8 gates at this rank reduces the ninjas strength and speed by -1 for 3 turns.
The Gate of Pain: (B rank)
(Requires Chuunin, -10 chakra per turn)
The eyes of the user light up shining white, still retaining its ability to be the bridge to B rank and lower jutsu which require 8 gates. Retaining the 30% increase to speed, strength, and reaction speed, the user gains the ability to create craters on impact and send ninja flying 2m, with even guarded against attacks causing 1m shockwaves which can tear skin 1” deep and after repeated exposure crack bone and create small 1m craters. Discontinuing 8 gates at this rank reduces all the ninjas physical statistics by -1 for 3 turns.
The Gate of Limit: (A rank)
(Requires Special Jounin, -15 chakra per turn)
The pressure of the user’s chakra is enough to crack the ground around them, but too fast and light at this point to cause mass devastation. Allowing the user to now use A rank and lower techniques requiring 8 gates and moving as a blur, even to other ninja of their rank. At this rank increasing the users physical characteristics by 40%. Discontinuing 8 gates at this rank reduces the ninjas reaction time, strength and speed by -1 for 5 turns.
The Gate of View: (A rank)
(Requires Special Jounin, -15 chakra per turn)
Increasing the user’s physical characteristics each by 50% the user is still able to use A rank and lower techniques which require 8 gates. Natural water and obstacles around the user at this rank part for them, allowing them to ignore non chakra related arena obstacles and move unhindered as if they were using supernatural walking practise, the pressure surrounding them is now so violent that even when missing a blow, if the opponent is within 1 meter, they receive B rank damage and internal bruising/ breaking bones from the force of the 1m shockwave. Discontinuing 8 gates at this rank reduces the ninjas reaction time, strength and speed by -1 for 6 turns.
The Gate of Wonder: (S rank)
(Requires Jounin, -20 chakra per turn)
Grant’s the user +1 to each of the physical characteristics and unlocking the ability to use S rank and lower techniques which require 8 gates. Simply moving at this incredible speed upturns the ground and is fast enough to break windows with the increased shockwave, at this rank, techniques or armour of B rank or lower are nullified when interacting with techniques used by the user of The Gate of Wonder. Discontinuing 8 gates at this rank leaves the user unconscious for 4 rounds unless treated by a medical ninja/ technique of S rank or higher.
The Gate of Death: (SS rank)
(Requires Sannin)
The user receives +1 to strength, speed and reaction time, gaining the ability to cut through chakra like a knife and physically tear through techniques and armour of A rank and lower for a single post receiving minimal D rank damage. Moving faster than the human eye can see without a sensory technique of B rank or higher, The user can create expansive damage over a 30m radius in the form of shockwaves from his/her strikes, these shockwaves, considered B rank, are able to break bones on impact and throw their victims up to 5m away. This technique discontinues after one turn and at this rank, kills the user.
