When returning home from the library, another mission was given to Akuma. This mission was a simple one too, even though Akuma disliked simplicity, this one at least had some good to come out of it since he will be benefiting by saving someone’s life. The mission was described as “A young boy has fallen into a well. People tried to get in to get him out, but their bodies were too large. Without food and such, he'll die if he doesn't get help soon.” This seems like it is possible to get the kid out, but an able body is needed. Akuma is merely 10 years old and if his body isn’t small enough to get in then he wouldn’t know whose is. When Kami arrived at the well he noticed the frantic family of the poor child screaming and yelling, crying for help in order to save the trapped kid. Kami got nere and when light reflected off of his forehead protector that rested on his neck, people suddenly got relieved and began jumping on Kami asking him what he plans to do to get the kid out and what can they do to help. Kami replied by saying that he needed to see this well first so that he can come up with a logical way to get the kid out without having to need any help. As they guided him towards the well, the people were still chatting up a storm, telling Akuma to save him since he has no food, another added “He also doesn’t have water!” in which I laughed a little in my head seeing as the kid was trapped in a well, dying of thirst would be pretty damn ironic. When getting to the well Akuma noticed that it wasn’t going to be difficult at all and no help was surely going to be needed. The mission description was correct in saying the only reason they can’t get the kid themselves is because they need a smaller body.
Kami began climbing down, with both hands on the wall along with his feet and his back pressed against the other end of the well. While slowly climbing down, Akuma felt the need to say a few words of comfort to the poor kid that was trapped. A few things were said and in no time Akuma went from having a crying child to having one that slightly laughed before again realizing his circumstance. Akuma reached the spot where the kid was trapped, and when he got the kid loose he told the child to climb onto his shoulder. It was certainly going to be harder than it sounded in his head, but Akuma believed that he can climb this kid to safety a lot faster than he would climb him up by encouraging him and leading him up to climb on his own. The child may have been a bit heavy, but Akuma paid no mind to this since the only thing that ran through his head was the money he is going to be receiving for two missions back – to – back. It is these thoughts that made Akuma easily scale though the well and climb it with time to spare, while having the kid clinging to his back. Everybody in the small town was extremely pleased and no one was more pleased than the young boy’s mother and family at that. The mission was completed and Akuma now had one more to go under his belt, he needed to get his money for these small missions while also ask the Kazekage to assign him to a few more.
