Iyata dashed across the field as quick as her feet would take her, she was able to clear the large chunk of open land relatively quickly. However she was not going to let that reassure her, she was still within Kiri borders and was making a fast track towards that very border. Intelligence had betrayed that there was a smattering of unaffiliated nin wandering about those parts that were causing issues with their supply lines. She lunged forward diving into a brush kneeling down quietly and shaking the miscellaneous shrubbery and leaves out of her hair. She looked around softly and once she was confident that no one was currently watching her she continued down her path.
She quickly made her way along the border between land and the coastline. She was using the coastline to help guide her in the correct direction. She stopped her movement feeling that she had made good pace so far. She knelt down behind a large boulder and placing her back against the stone and leaned her head back she looked up at the night sky and watched the stars. It was nice on nights like these where the mist from the ocean and also the marshes did not obscure the sky too badly. She gently reached her hand upward towards the heavens and placed her finger tips gently covering certain stars in the sky so it caused her hand to take the form of an animal. She smiled lightly and brought her hand back down and gently stared at it.
She oddly remembered a time when her mother had taken her out to the coast line and they spent the entire day into the night walking the shores and looking up at the stars. Iya was reminded of a better time, she shook her head gently pushing those thoughts from her memory for the time being. She needed to focus on the current mission and make sure it was taken care of. She looked up gently and placed her hand softly on the ground pushing herself upward to her feet. She placed her feet firmly on the ground and slowly walked a few feet back before dashing forward towards the boulder and jumping into the air hurtling over the boulder as she once again was one the move.
Iyata finally reached the tree line which separated the borders. She smiled softly and looked around gently to see if she was being followed she was lucky enough to realize that she was not in fact. This was the best part of news that she could of gotten this close to the end of her mission. She ducked underneath the tree and disappeared into the forest. She immediately jumped up into the canopy and began to travel the vast distance of the forest leaping from limb to limb from tree to tree. He closed her eyes gently and allowed her senses to guide her as she was taught from her mother at a young age. Her mother had always told her that if you allow yourself to open yourself up to the world around you, you will be able to anticipate each movement you need to make, allow your body to take you where you need to go.
It was at the point she realized that she was not alone, she could hear movement coming from behind her that was off beat from her own movement. She sighed softly and shook her head and opened her eyes gently, “Was too good to be true right?” she muttered to herself and placed her hands together sewing a series of seals before three of herself appeared beside her. They all nodded to themselves and began to jump back and forth from left to right in rapid and sporadic patterns causing to make the true and real Iyata indistinguishable from the others. The nin following Iyata stopped suddenly as the saw the three Iyata’s shoot off into opposite directions. The dense foliage of the forest made it hard for them to keep track of their true direction. Suddenly the area became engulfed in a deep and dense mist, frantically looking around they were unable to see very far ahead of themselves. They stood on guard among the limbs. Iyata and her clones choose this opportunity to attack.
Iyata jumped out of the brush and collided with the Shinobi on the highest branch pushing him off the limb in midair causing him to collide with the tree branches as he fell down towards the ground. Her clones picked off the opposing Nin and began to exchange blows with them pound for pound. Iyata hit the ground running and charged the Genin and slid up beneath his legs as he stood up and placed her hands in front of her pushing herself up onto her hands and thrusting her feet backward kicking the Nin back towards a low hanging branch causing him to almost hit it. However skilled in Taijutsu he was able to grab hold of the branch and use the momentum to swing around and jump ontop of it. He launched himself off the tree limb and proceeded to perform a barrage of pin pointed strikes against Iyata causing her to become overwhelmed and trip and stumble onto the ground. Her clones suddenly disappeared however one was able to kill one of the Genin before it was destroyed.
However to Iyata’s benefit the secondary Nin was injured to the point that he retreated back into the forest to tend to his wounds. Iyata frowned softly at the show of cowardice but little to be expected from a Shinobi with little discipline. She suddenly was face to the realization that she was left alone with this one persistant Genin. She stood up and dusted herself off, they watched eachother for a moment before engaging eachother once more. Iyata at one point believed to have the upper hand and then it would quickly shift to the Genin. Iyata knew she only had one shot, she kicked the Genin straight down to the ground and in midair summoned 6 water clones. As they all appeared around her they suddenly fell downward with force all throwing punches and kickes at the Genin. Seriously overwhelmed the attacks were able to make their marks knocking the Genin out completely.
Iyata breathed heavily looking at the unconscious body of the Genin laying on the ground still breathing but otherwise immobile. Iyata blew a stray strand of hair out of her face before moving once more for the border. Iyata was finally able to reach the border walking over to the ground gently she knelt and placed the Chakra infused stone in its correct spot and smiled softly to herself. She had once more achieved her mission and now it was time to return home.
