Kagome~
D-rank
Chronus had tilted his timer many a times before Kagome relinquished a slight approximation of what her whereabouts were. Obviously the elegant young kunoichi knew she was on some sort of mission where she must assit in cleaning up the merchant's shop....but which one precisely? Letting out a sigh of frustration, the warm caramel pigmented adolecent continued her moderately paced approach to what appeared to be the exact street of where the store was pressumeably located.
It made her nervous to be so completely alone and uncertain as to her whereabouts, but she had to trust that a combination of luck and good karma would aid her in managing to pull off this mission exceptionally well. Especially since she had never been to this exact store before. Then again, it was not really her personal and hopefull acomplishment that alarmed her all that much. It was more the matter of being caught off guard and finding something horridly dreadful inside. Genin in general had to ask permission before embarking on any mission but this one had been thrown right into her lap. And it was only natural that she began to assume the worse, however she sighed and tried to keep positive. Therefore, she solemnly banished the thought from her mind.
Slowly she stepped up the the entrance, a bit hesitant to enter the establishment but what other choice did Kagome have? Raising her arm so that she may run her slender fingers through her golden brown hair she steadied herself. Taking a glance at the store hours the place had been open for about an hour now and although she did not want to go in there was no need in wasting precious time. "Well, here goes nothing." She murmered softly to herself upon grasping the door's handel and walking inside.
Almost instantly she was met with the deafening sound of several dog's barks, a few high pitched feline yowls, chirping avians and a whole other sympony of various animal noises and calls. Resisting the sudden urge to place her hands over her ears Kagome's brow immediantly furrowed. She would be dealing with a pet shop. Well that was better than what she had been thinking of. Much better. But the state in which the animals were being kept in were tragically aweful, one might even venture to say disgusting. The bedding that the creatures sat upon had changed into another color, visually showing it's unclean and unkept state. Several animals had actually escaped their cages and there were multiple bags with undetermined content spilled out of them.
The overall condition of the store was unacceptable and for the sake of the suffering creatures inside it Kagome immediantly went to work. Grabbing a handful of large garbage bags, gloves and cleaning supplies she found behind the counter Kagome started with the row of cages closest to her. Carefully she oppened the cage doors proceeding to gently take out multiple puppies and kittens and set them into seperate little play pens on the ground behind. At least that would allow the to play as she cleaned. Starting with the first cage Kagome scooped out the filty bedding laminated to the floor of the cage, cleaned it thouroughly then applied fresh food, water and bedding before moving on to the next and then repeating the process. Which eventually lead to cleaning out the bird, rabbit, guinea pig and hamster cages; and of course she placed each animal back into their appropriate habitat.
Tired was a feeling that she had long surpassed and there was not much time that she had left to complete her objective. Using her forearm to wipe her forehead the kunoichi released an exaughted huff before ending her breif break and moving on to her next task. Lowering herself to the floor with an outstreatched hand the genin grabbed large empty bags, and various things that had fallen off the shelves, placing each item where it belonged. Finally, she grabbed a broom and sweapt up any dust, pet hair, and pet food she could find before disposing of it and then taking the large garbage bags out to toss into a dumpster in the back. All with fiffteen minutes to spare. She then used that time to seek out the store's owner for her payment.
