Matsu
D-rank
Today was set to be like no other. Unlike the previous days where everything had been so relaxing and calm, today was scheduled to be a day of running missions back to back. He had decided to awaken particularly early, where the sky had a dull blue as if it was telling him to go back to sleep. As if the sky itself were actually tired. He had showered the night before, so it wasn't exactly necessary to shower right this instant, but he'd make sure to handle all other hygiene issues. This included brushing his teeth, combing his hair, putting on deodorant, and the like. He'd exit his bathroom, changing into his white and black robe before leaving his house with a tired look on his face. He couldn't exactly say he was excited for the missions he was supposed to be doing.
Checking his mailbox he found 3 envelopes. Slowly opening them one at a time, he found the missions that he was assigned to for the day. The first one was simple, a warm up really. It was early morning and Matsu was in charge of walking a couple dogs. The second one involved helping to deal with the maintenance of the training area and the final one, which was assigned to a late night shift, was to be a job of unloading cargo from a boat. Overall, it was going to be a rough day. He had gotten used to maybe a single mission every other day, and that was busy for him. Today would be a whole different monster for him to handle.
Letting out a sigh, he couldn't help but feel grateful that the workload wasn't worse. He could have been potentially working on several B-Ranked or A-Ranked missions. Not to mention the Kage leveled shinobi might be taking on mission of S-Rank... Multiple ones at that. Anyway, bottom line was he was happy with what little work he did receive, even if he was a lazy bastard and wanted even less. Beginning his walk towards the home of the dogs he was to be walking, he would place his palms together, causing them to be concealed within the sleeves of his robes. The envelopes would be concealed in his sleeves as well, making them easy to access if need be.
Upon reaching the first destination, he would knock on the door with a single hand three times repeatedly. There was quite a bit of delay, but eventually, someone came to the door to answer the knocking. It was an elderly man with 3 little puppies walking closely behind him. A genuine smile would show on Matsu's face as he held his hand to shake the old mans. Matsumura Hashikawa at your service. The older man would smile and nod as he shook Matsu's hand. Reaching down to pick up the pups, he'd hold his back, carrying all three in one arm.
Pointing each one, he'd begin to list off their names. Now these boys here shouldn't be causin' ya any problems. They're good boys. This ones Sparky... This ones Satoshi... And this one here... He's Tohru. Listing each of the dogs names, Matsu would listen intently, actually making sure to remember each of the dogs names. Though they were all physically identical, so he was bound to forget some here and there. Regardless, the old man would walk into his house, grabbing a leash for each of them, then hand it to Matsu after hooking it to each of the three pups. It would only take Matsu a very short while to walk the entire length of the trail, allowing him to quickly move onto the next mission.
