- Zen Garden
The Zen Garden Arena is a large, traditional Japanese Zen Garden. A large square in it's heart, lined by jet black wood, is filled with sand which has been raked into intricate circular patterns. Inside the hearts of these circular patterns are large oblong stone pillars which extend several metres into the sky. On one end of the garden sits a waterfall, which is channelling into a large pond, while on the other side sits several Sakura trees, each just starting to bloom.
Hanbei from the first exam had some time to rest before the second round, he looked up at the pairings, it seemed that he was to head to an area which was called the Zen Garden. Hanbei could only hope that he was not going to receive one of the crippling downsides which he knew there was the potential of him receiving one of the crippling downsides on his match, but it seemed that there was only one which was favourable to his situation. Once he showed up to the arena at the allotted time, just enough time away to see a battle come to its end, he could feel something at the pit of his stomach, as his nerves began to act up.
The young boy entered the arena having to limit all of his equipment down to one measly needle. Hanbei was gobsmacked to have his needles removed from him, leaving nothing but one in its pouch. But, one needle was all he needed to win, Hanbei was a master of acupuncture and when it came to it, he could place it in a nerve cluster on his opponent which could critically injure or even cause heart problems at a later date. He still wore his long multi layered silk clothing which covered almost his entire body, the only bare skin which could be seen on his body was from the neck up, and even then the overly feminine Genin was prepared for the up and coming fight, keeping the single needle hidden up his sleeve which no-one. saw from the angle of which he stood.
Entering the Arena as the other two left, he thought that this would be a good opportunity to flex his skills. Looking up at one of the pillars, Hanbei ran up and with a single running bound stepped up and took the high ground on its top before his opponent entered the arena. The High ground on the top of his pillar was his best friend in this fight. His opponent would have to either attempt to strike him off, wasting their chakra, or they would have to run up or jump up and leave themselves open for Hanbei's techniques. He had no idea the stature of his opponent, but the fifteen year old looked to and for the entry point the other contestant would enter. As soon as they were given the go to fight, all hell was going to break loose.

Appearance:
Long black 8" needles which catch the sun as opposed to reflecting it, making them difficult to see and easy to miss with the naked eye in mid flight.
History:
Masterfully made, steel throwing weapons invented and used by the Guanyin clan. Known for their needles in the use of both remedial acupuncture as well as combat acupuncture, hundreds of years of developed techniques combined to make these needles harder, sharper, and more aerodynamic. These kevlar coated needles are the pique of the talented artisans' potential and the trademark of the Guanyin Clan.
