The tower hummed with the noise of construction. The vibrations were felt everywhere as Juyo climbed the stairs. He had always seen the Tower of Heaven from wherever he was in the village. The tower was now well up to nearly 50 floors and Juyo wanted a lonely spot to train. He had a new jutsu he needed to test out. Finding a large and open room, Juyo decided to set it up as his training area. He'd gone up 13 floors, and the slight hum of construction was just faint. The noise was sort of pleasant to Juyo, a nice white noise for him to train with.

He went to the far wall and put up 5 posters. Each one a different ad for a village store. He had taken them down on his way to the tower, he knew he'd need them for practice, and besides, the stores had them up everywhere around town. No one would miss the five he had taken. He stepped away from the wall and counted out 15 meters. Facing the wall, he focused on one of the posters as he focused hard on his chakra. He made the chakra have lightning nature, and started focusing on creating a solid bolt of lightning. He was looking at his right hand now, trying to make the lightning chakra form in his hands. A small ball of lightning appeared in his hands, and when he tried to lengthen it, turning it slowly into the shape of a small football, only to diffuse, the lightning dissipating in his hands.

Juyo sighed, letting his hand fall to his side. He knew learning a new jutsu would be hard work, and he understood he wouldn't get it right away, but if this was how things started out it would take forever. He stared at the posters on the wall for a few seconds, letting himself clear his head before giving the jutsu another try. Meanwhile he went over the jutsu in his head. The jutsu required lightning chakra to be formed from his body, and be molded into three small spear-shaped masses of lightning. He needed to get each of the spear-shaped masses of lightning to be 2 feet long.

Juyo took another deep breath and stretched out his arm again. Focusing on his chakra energy and applying his lightning chakra nature to it, he could feel the electricity flowing through his body. He concentrated harder on his hand, trying to focus the lightning chakra there. Slowly a spark formed in the palm of his hand. The spark grew into a ball of lightning, Juyo smiled at the sight, and continued his concentration. In his hand, the ball of lightning seemed to slowly be squishing itself, spreading at two points, and once again the football shaped ball of lightning had formed. He focused harder than last time, trying to not get too excited at his progress, the crackle of the lightning pushing him forward. The ball extended a bit farther, looking more elongated than a football, and becoming more similar to a small stick. Juyo managed to get the small stick of lightning to stretch to a foot in length. He tried to get it more like a spear in form, with a sharp point on the far end of the stick, and as the spearhead started to take shape in his excitement got the better of him, and a loud crack came from the lightning as it dispersed wildly. Juyo threw his hands up in anger, cursing the noise of the lightning chakra.

He went out to one of the windows, looking over the village of Kumogakure. The villagers were bustling about the streets, the shops were open and even from the 13th floor, Juyo could hear the bartering being done. He let the wind blow his hair and his clothes. Looking at his hands, he thought on the jutsu. There must've been something he was missing. He remembered what he had to do with his chakra, and how he was supposed to mold it. But the jutsu just didn't seem to want to hold together. It was proving to be quite challenging for it being quite simple. He took out his notes on the jutsu from his pocket and started to reread it. It didn't take him too long to find the reason why the jutsu wasn't working. He forgot the most important step, the hand signs. He memorized the hand signs for a while before putting the note back in his jacket pocket.

Taking his place back in front of the five posters, Juyo did the appropriate hand signs. Focusing on his chakra nature, he concentrated to form a spear of lightning outside of his body. Looking to his right, he watched a ball of sparks quickly take form into a spear. It was so quick it took Juyo by surprise. Looking over it, he could tell it was the appropriate length, and looking at the five posters, he picked one on the far right end, and shot the lightning at it. The spear-shaped lightning bolt rocketed away from him, landing squarely in the middle of the poster. It burned a small hole from the electricity. Juyo clenched his fists in glee, he couldn't believe it. All it had took for him to get one good lightning bolt was the hand signs. He had to make three though, for the jutsu to work.

He set his feet up, and repeated the hand signs. Focusing now on two different points outside of his body. Quickly two balls of lightning appeared, and then thinned out into two feet long spear-shaped lightning bolts. Picking out two of the next posters, he fired the bolts of lightning at them, and they struck their targets. Juyo was really excited now, and he tried once more, to finish the jutsu, which required three of these lightning javelins to be made. Redoing the hand signs once more, he concentrated on three points outside of his body. The chakra formed quickly into shape, and he looked around him as he noted the three javelins of lightning to his right, left, and the third hovering over his head. he picked out the last two posters, and aimed his third in between them. Firing them off, they struck their targets with ease. The posters were ruined, and the wall only had a small one inch scratch. Juyo lifted his hands above his head in triumph. He had learned a new jutsu! His mind raced with the possibilities that the jutsu could be used for as he cleaned up and made his way down the Tower's stairs.
