OOC: Miles just invited me because I'm pathetic. *sigh*

Nagare finally arrived at the scene, and it was chaos. There was a dust that plagued the air, with plumes of black smoke scattered nearby. That's what the explosions were...his mind was racing, unsure of what to do exactly. He noticed a cluster of people, battling against someone. The man they were fighting, by the looks of it, was the culprit for this devastation, with green hair and a bloodthirsty grin. The people fighting against him, there were about 4...a shorter boy, with dark hair, a man with similar hair, a red-haired guy with a thin figure, and a white haired man. He had no time to try and get acquainted with these allies, he simply needed to find a way to help. He wasn't too sure of the assailant's abilities, though; the fact that he was taking on four Konoha ninja at once made Nagare a bit cautious. Still, using a weaker technique to conserve chakra while catching the guy's attention couldn't hurt. Starting off a fight with a powerful technique was never a good course of action in battle, far too risky. And besides, the four ninja that were already there seemed to be holding up fine, so a powerful technique wasn't necessary.

"Death can only lead to more death, and eventually yours will come. Going up against an entire village is rather gutsy of you." the Sannin called out from his perch atop a building. His eyes were locked on the green-haired man. "Lightning Release...," his hand sparked as Raiton built up, and three daggers appeared, live with yellow light and volatile energy, "Flash Darts!" he threw them, aimed at the general torso area of the enemy, before sprinting to the left at full speed and hopping down from the building, landing on his feet next to the white-haired ninja. His Kumogakure hitai-ate, which was tied to his arm, flashed as a thin ray of sunlight glared into it. He noticed how dark the sky was now, when just moments ago it was so bright. It was fitting weather for a dark situation. He contemplated his next move as the lightning darts ran their course.

OOC: You all are forgetting about the Crystal Release: Abrasive Devastation that's still going in this area. I set it off in the south gate, and we're still, here, so.....It's post round 2 for all of you, barring Sousetsu, after this post.

Tame was getting more excited by the minute. People were rushing into the fight rather hastily....in his opinion, they all had a death wish.

They seemed to be launching a combination attack... the first of them, the red-head, used the very familiar Great Fireball technique, launching a--you guessed it--huge fireball at Tame. It was a bit slow compared to normal ninja projectiles, but its sheer size made up for that. Not like Tame couldn't dodge normal ninja projectiles, anyhow....this thing was no problem. His reflexes let him immediately react to the fire being exhaled from the young man's mouth. He could sense the chakra....he could feel the temperature locally rise. So there was only one thing to do....You won't catch me....! he projected telepathically to them all as he heard someone say from behind him, "Mokuton: Shichūrō no Jutsu!" Yes...just as the red-haired one was launching his attack, the other that seemed to be a threat, the black-haired individual...

As he prepared to run from both jutsu, yet another individual decided to intervene. "Death can only lead to more death, and eventually yours will come. Going up against an entire village is rather gutsy of you." By his tone, Tame was forced to guess he was either macho beyond belief or had some power to back up his words. Either way....he was definitely not of this village. The Cloud forehead protector on his sleeve said it all. But if he was going to stand in the way.... You're as dead as the rest. As the seemingly strong ninja (again, his chakra emanations told that story) prepared an attack, also aimed at him, Tame would simply strafe to his left. The fireball was not that way, and the Lightning Release: Flash Darts were coming from the exact opposite direction; his only REAL problem was this pesky Wood Release user. It was never good for a sniper to have someone who could manifest physical structures around. Well, perhaps not just snipers. Long-range fighters in general.

Regardless, the three attacks weren't too coordinated. The Kumo-nin on the rooftop seemed to be acting on his own, regardless of what the other two were doing...for now. The Four-Pillar Prison that the Senju (at least he wasn't aware of a non-Senju having Mokuton capabilities) behind him had used was closing up fast. With a swift leap, the Nuke-ninja managed to escape the technique. However, wincing as he landed, Tame discovered that this was not without it closing slightly on his foot. Fractures, perhaps....if anything was broken it would have hurt a lot more. But he couldn't risk further injury now...

Try and catch me...

The words almost magically resounded around the area as Tame blurred with speed to another location; to most, he would have appeared to have simply vanished in an orb of distortion. But when they saw him again, four meters to the left of the cage that almost enclosed him, they would have to look up; the A-ranked Missing-nin was suspended in midair, upside-down, thanks to his passive control over his own crystal structure. His hair did not flip down, his clothes didn't sag with gravity....Maybe it would serve to confuse or intimidate them by appearing to be space-time ninjutsu, but not much else.... ten feet from the ground, he could still be hit by even Wood techniques, he reckoned.

But now was his time to counter....four each to the redhead and the black-haired one, a lone bolt to the one who had just Substituted, two to the apparently quite skilled Genin that dodged his attack by sheer reaction speed, and a warning shot at the Hidden Cloud ninja.

It was time for him to go on the defensive, even for a small while.....focusing, he began gathering his crystal dust that was quite scattered over the area.

Sousetsu could still be seen surfing the many rooftops of the village hidden in the leaves. His speed was at its peak as he rushed to the Hokages office. With it in sight, Sousetsus eyes widened to find that it was among those that did not suffer much damage. A cry could be heard from a nearby building which caught the Senju's attention. He had no choice but to rush over to save the person or persons that were held captive by the debris that helped confine them within the space. The noise became much clearer and the cry was beginning to sound like that of a young girls and in one of the apartment buildings nearby. Sousetsu moved to the ground level lingering on the pathway until he could hear the sounds once more, looking up and trying to pinpoint the exact location. It turned out that it came a window on the third floor, which was pretty high up being around fifteen metres high. He leaped from ledge to ledge grasping at anything he could get his hand on before reaching his new found destination. He slid open the window further as it was only a crack and by chance that he heard her. Once inside, a girl around the age of eight could be found curled up with her knees in her chest and tears streaming from her eyes. She was sobbing uncontrollably. Was she left here? Where were her parents? Sousetsu did not want to linger any longer so he saved those questions for later. He grabbed the girl and leaped from the window followed by a small explosion within the house.

He checked on the girl waiting for a response from her. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Sousetsu asked with much sympathy. She nodded from side to side. "My sister...She is still in there..." She sobbed. The Jounin took a small yet deep breath of shock. He turned to face the room at which he had jumped from and back to the girl. "Stay here." Sousetsu ordered as he then began to leap back into the building. His lungs felt like they were closing in the smoke filled room. Nothing could be heard apart from the roaring flames and the falling pieces of wood from the rooms higher up. He did not know where to look but shielded his mouth with his forearm and began his search. He tried the restroom but it was empty. The bedrooms were too filled with clutter to even step into the room and so he made his way to the living room. Once there he seen a figure under a large piece of supporting wood that was still very much ablaze. Sousetsu placed his left hand upon his right forearm and soon water emerged and he cleansed the fires from the wood and the area. The figure was small and lifeless. He checked for a pulse but there was none. Sousetsu fell to his knees and bowed his head. He did not make it in time. He went to the kitchen and grabbed the torn and tattered tablecloth and wrapped the body within it so that none could see the body.

He emerged from the window once again and landed next to the girl and placed the body beside her. Her eyes were beginning to water and she began sniffing uncontrollably, "I'm sorry." A man and a woman were running past before Sousetsu grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "Take the girl with you." Sousetsu ordered once again. The man nodded and gripped the girls arm and began to run off to safety once more. The girl screamed with her free arm trying to reach her sisters but she was not strong enough to escape the grasp. Sousetsu sighed and paced with thought running through his head. He did not have time to wallow in self pity, he had to find the Hokage, but seeing a little girl like that could make a man wonder. Before long, he leaped to the rooftops once again and made his way to the Hokages office window and looked inside but just as he had thought, it was empty. He stood tall and began to scan the area. He needed to find where the leaf shinobi were. Surely they would have found the culprit. Within a short distance away, Sousetsu could see a rather odd cloud. A fireball emerged from a small and dark figure. It was the ninja. A fire technique though? How would that help? The only explanation was that they were in battle and Sousetsu was determined to be there as backup. With more water emerging from a small radius around his feet, he surfed, continuing his journey along the rooftops and to his fellow shinobi's aid.

Takeshi watched as his great fireball headed straight for the green haired man. Looking to his side he could see Owydelu working his way around, it looked like he was going to be able to do something. Takeshi had fought Owydelu before, if anything, Owydelu could have been using that wooden prison of his. Though, that was nothing more than a wild guess, since it had been more than five years since their last spar. Owydelu might have had another trick up his sleeve that he planned to use. All Takeshi could see ahead of him right now was his fireball, but he could hear another person. He looked over and on a rooftop he could see another person. He couldn't see who he was exactly, but he looked strong. He did some kind of lightning move aimed towards the green haired guy, so for the time being, the other man was on Takeshi's team. The fireball was farther now, and the green haired man was able to dodge it by moving to the left. The green haired man was fast on his feet, it seemed like he didn't wait too long to make a move. His fireball continued on getting smaller and smaller until it became nothing. This green haired man was more skilled than he originally thought, he was able to dodge all three attacks. Out of seemingly nowhere, Takeshi could see four more of those arrows heading straight for him. They didn't seem to have a specific place they were heading for, so Takeshi ducked under them.

While all this was going on, Takeshi began to feel a burning sensation. At first he thought it was just him feeling hot by him moving around. This was disproven because when he looked down at his hands, they were bleeding. He was sure he didn't get hit by some attack, so he didn't understand what was happening. Looking around he could see that some of the buildings had their paint melting away slowly. His jacket was also starting to go way as well, he figured it was some jutsu that Tame used. He didn't know how exactly it worked, but he had to figure something out. Looking down the street, he saw that some of the buildings still had their paint and it didn't look like they were touched. He looked at his comrades who looked like they didn't realize yet. We got to leave this area! And with that Takeshi took off to leave the immediate area. As he got closer to the green haired man's position, Takeshi focused chakra into his finger tips. He then waved his hand at the man's general direction, letting loose a blade of wind. He didn't stop to see if he hit the man or not, he just kept on moving, trying to get out of the area.

Rinshi came to a halt as he heard Takeshi shout to the group, telling them to get out of the area. Rinshi was fairly confused as his vision became blurred and hazy, his first assumption was he over exerted his Byakugan but quickly realized it was not the case. It was the man, Rinshi felt a burning sensation on his forearms and looked to find them covered in blood. Rinshi deactivated deactivated his Byakugan, because at the moment it was of no use.

Rinshi looked up to see an arrow coming directly at him, he jumped, as the arrow ripped through the foreskin on the back of his left calf. Rinshi still felt a burning sensation on his arms and had noticed the melting of paint and the erosion of fallen debris. Rinshi could see Takeshi not to far behind and ran up the wall of a building. Catching his breathe as he reached the top, he could see his sensei, Tatsumaru, a uchiha as well as the Hokage. Rinshi could see no distortion in his area and began running towards him.

Rinshi landed on the rooftop of another building and stumbled forward, landing on his hands and knees grimacing from the pain his calf caised him. Rinshi stood up and ran to the end of the building and jumped from the rooftop.

Rinshi jumped onto the rooftop of the building that Tatsumaru stood upon. Rinshi stumbled forward, falling onto his hands and knees again. Rinshi brought his right leg up, with his knee meeting his chest as he struggled to stand. Rinshi looked up to Tatsumaru, feeling pitiful and pathetic in the presence of his Sensei. Rinshi stood up, fighting the pain from the bleeding gash on his calf. Rinshi bowed to his Sensei, and spoke to him. "Tatsumaru Sensei, I'm sorry for my poor combat skills. What should we do Sensei?" Rinshi looked to Tatsumaru for his advice to end this conflict.

OOC: I know I used a move with a charge time, but Miles was cool with me doing so, as i've been here long enough to charge it and the charge posts would have been spammy space devourers. Oh, and for those of you suffering from the crystal attack Tame used, fear not; the shockwave i'm about to create will clear it.

Tatsumaru sighed heavily as Rinshi reached the rooftops. Now, he was going to be spotted, and he would approach. The enemy wouldn't be stupid enough to not notice where he'd gone and any chance he had of a sneak attack was gone. "Tatsumaru Sensei, I'm sorry for my poor combat skills. What should we do Sensei?" Tatsumaru's eyes snapped down at the collapsed student before him, his expression was netural, but his eyes burned with a secret hatred for his student at that moment. "You think he won't notice you're up here? You just gave away any chance I had for a sneak attack. Bravo." As he spoke, Tatsumaru took off his hat and kage robe, dropping them to the rooftop next to him. He undid the buttons of his flak jacket before dumping it before Rinshi, and did the same with the rest of his clothes until he was stark naked. Although this was the first time Tatsumaru had revealed his religious scarring to another individual in the village [during his numerous sexual adventures he would hide them using henge] he didn't really care. His attention was focused solely on the man attacking his home, rather than on the potentially problematic reveal of his religious beliefs to one of his students.

Tatsumaru picked up his Kage robes again and put them on, before reaching briefly into the left hand pocket to withdraw a small, dark green crystal. A gift from his sensei before he went AWOL, which apparently belonged to the first hokage, once upon a time. He slid it onto his neck, smiling slightly as he felt a warm glow radiate throughout his body as the crystal met his skin. "Take those back to my office, and get someone to call you a medic. If you lose anything I will fucking murder you." As soon as he finished speaking, Tatsumaru kicked off the rooftop, and began approaching the battlefield at haste. His skin was boiling under his jacket, the chakra he had been collecting as he watched the fight surging through him, desparate to escape the confides of his skin. The chakra itself was so volatile that Tatsumaru's very skin itself was glowing orange, the chakra pulsing and surging under his skin visible as though a series of orange snakes were living underneath his skin. When he got close enough to strike, Tatsumaru was met with a new issue; proximity. His own shinobi were too close to the rogue ninja, and if he struck now, while he would almost certainly land a kill, he would also injure or kill his own men in the process. That was not an option. He'd have to do the only thing he could; prime his strike and announce his presence, allowing his men to withdraw before detonating.

Flooding his lungs with Air, Tatsumaru roared across the battlefield, ensuring everyone within a three block radius could hear his words. "KONOHA SHINOBI, FALL BACK IMMEDIATELY!" as he screamed at the masses, Tatsumaru leapt off the roof top, raising another fifteen feet into the air. As he reached the apex of his jump, the glowing vanished from Tatsumaru's skin for a moment before reappearing again. This pattern repeated itself several times as he fell, the bright orange glow and steam rising from his flesh making Tatsumaru appear more like a meteor falling to earth than a man. He fell for six seconds, trying to land as close to the rogue as possible before hitting the ground with a sharp thud. As he hit the ground, drove his fist into the soil, his chin pressed into his torso and his entire stance braced, like he was expecting the ground at his feet to give way and drop him down into an endless pit. Tatsumaru's skin let out one final shine, a glow so bright that anyone who made the mistake of looking at him would be blinded by it's raw force, before Tatsumaru's Kage robes suddenly tore from his flesh, a massive, radiant explosion tearing out from the very fabric of his being.

Tatsumaru was consumed by a sudden sphere of raw energy as a massive explosion spread from the surface of his skin, forming a beautiful sphere of orange and white light. The sphere itself spanned 30 metres in diametre, causing it to devour a significant portion of the street where Tatsumaru had landed. From the blast, a shockwave rang out, covering another thirty metres on all sides from the blast. The bang was followed by the sound of support beams cracking and glass shattering. Several homes near the blast crumbled from the raw force of the impact as it tore through the streets, sending anyone dumb enough to get caught in it's wake flying like a ragdoll.

When the attack ended, the spot where Tatsumaru had landed was gone, replaced by a massive crater. In it's heart stood the now naked Hokage, a small crystal necklace hanging from his otherwise exposed body. A clear steam was rising from his body, where every drop of sweat he expelled was being cooked off by the heat from his own attack. The Hokage did not dwell in the crater, however, as he knew there was a chance since he was forced to announce his presence that the rogue would have cleared the attack radius. Instead, he quickly kicked out of the crater, rising to land on the nearby street. THe shockwave had dragged up every loose spec of dirt and dust, filling the air with dust and grit that made breathing uncomfortable. There, Tatsumaru stood for a moment, his three tomoes spiralling gracefully across the scene as he tried to spot the man, assuming he had avoided the attack.

[Note: Necklace didn't leave as it has a strap which is counted as part of the item, and as such is SS rank and survived the blast also]

The commotion around Nagare was building, and he noticed a bolt flying right at him from the rogue. It seemed to be of crystal, but it was fast-approaching. With a quick sidestep to the left, he dodged it using the full potential of his speed, and it managed to slice through his shirt. Luckily, no contact to the skin, but now his favorite shirt was ruined. He sighed as he removed it along with the jacket. Now he stood in more breathable battle wear, a lace shirt that outlined his upper body and pitch black pants that weaved around him like a shadow. He pushed the hair out of his eyes, focusing again on the battle beneath him. It was getting serious; those that were injured were now retreating, the first of which he noticed was the shorter black-haired ninja.

The rogue ninja had obviously noticed Nagare, signaled by the fact that a bolt was shot back at him, but he wasn't the man's primary focus. He could maybe get a little closer and get a few hits in...so, in an effort to bring this goal to fruition, he left his perch, running down the side of the building and toward the ground. He turned to the left to see the current situation of the battle when he saw a trickle of blood from his arm. Next one on his hand, and another on his torso. What the...he looked around at the dust in the air...and he hardly noticed that it was razor-sharp. It was cutting him, and that wasn't good at all. He wasn't going to run away, even though it was covering the area. He just needed to dispatch his target and get out of there before his flesh was razed from him. Within seconds he was less than 5 meters away from the green-haired man, when he heard the sound of a cry.

"KONOHA SHINOBI, FALL BACK IMMEDIATELY!"...what? Nagare was a ninja of Kumogakure, so he paid no heed to the official command...until he saw who said it. A naked man, wearing a Hokage robe, jumped overhead, glowing a bright orange color that was almost painful to the eyes. "...what the..." Nagare muttered, mostly at the fact that he wasn't wearing anything but the robe and it was awkward, but also at the orange thing. He squinted as the man, who seemed to be Hokage, neared the ground, his fist poised to smash into the soil. That was a sign, and not a good one. Nagare needed to get as far away as possible, right now. The Hokage was going to destroy the rogue, at all costs.

Nagare moved fast, his reflexes kicking into gear. He made a Dragon hand seal, and said to himself, "Katon: Akui no Shinzui." His body burst into flames, forming the shape of a winged demon, and he took flight, rocketing himself at least 80 meters to the southeast in less than a second. Now that he was far southeast of the Hokage, he figured whatever attack the guy had planned was now safely out of range. His wings flapped behind him while he watched the impact; first, the orange light faded, before coming back much brighter than before, nearly blinding Nagare. Next, an explosion ensued, destroying most of the area around it. The Hokage had just destroyed the south gate of his own village in an attempt to stop the rogue...there had to be a reason to do so. This missing-nin had to be powerful to be retaliated with a jutsu like that. Nagare swan dived back down to street level, and landed on his feet, his wings retracting as he stood. All that was left was debris and the smoke in the air, and the Hokage frantically looked from side to side, his red eyes glowing. The Sharingan....

The first day in the Hidden Leaf Village, and already so much had happened. Nagare gave a sly smile. "The village probably won't be too happy about that explosion, but I like this fight. Now, where did he...." his next words caught in his throat as he felt the tug on his subconscious. "Nagare, oh Naaaggaaaarreeeeee.....let me out to play..." The darkness was closing in...

[Note: Joshua, I asked several participants in the thread to read your posts and they thought what they did wouldn't really matter at this point, so I'm posting. This post is made with the assumption that you activated the Sharingan after the explosion, as that was the only mention I could find in your post (Ctrl+F: tomoe, sharingan)]

Tame was....rather puzzled. It would have seemed that his opponents had begun to be affected by his earlier technique, the Crystal Release: Abrasive Devastation. They began to flee.....in a rather disorganized manner, he might add. The red-haired one went in his own way, seemingly fleeing from the radius of his opponent's jutsu....a wise move, seeing as how the damage was only going to get worse, but he'd get his comeuppance later. No one could hide from Tame.
The younger one, the one that used the Substitution earlier, had received damage from Tame's technique....finally. The rogue ninja thought it odd that a ninja of that calibre had managed to evade his attacks, which were faster than most people, for such a long time. After that, he too retreated....but this one wasn't going to get away. No, he had drawn blood...he was akin to a wild animal in that sense. Maybe a shark....once he tasted blood, the prey would never get away. Though, this one was admittedly fast compared to, say, the other one with the dog. He got out of Tame's sensory radius quite quickly....which only meant that he had to expand it. With the smallest of mental efforts, the boy's chakra signature---which the smaller radius had caught, and he was able to memorize---became clear to him again. Not too far away, but a good deal of distance, the boy stopped; he was seemingly conversing with someone....focusing on that person, Tame was temporarily overwhelmed. This one had extremely powerful chakra....both in sheer quality and his reserves of it. He exuded it. If the Nuke-ninja had to guess, this person was the Hokage. Or at the very least, he was a Sannin. By his conjectures, the lower-ranked ninja had probably informed this man of what happened. Without a doubt, he would be hunted for soon enough. About two seconds after he noticed the Hokage---he could see the garb clearly, especially as how....the man oddly stripped down to nothing but the robes---he decided to go into hiding. With another mental effort, the Hiding-With-Camouflage technique came into effect. Tame near-instantly disappeared from pretty much every human sense, and, in his experience, even some super-human senses. The Hokage's chakra was stirring....that only meant one thing, in the fashion he had just departed. He was about to perform a jutsu of some kind. Especially how he yelled to the Konoha ninja and civilians to clear the area....it was probably a very potent one. Enough so that it somehow risked casualties.

But it was of no consequence to Tame. He simply had himself evacuate the area. Reading the movements of Konoha ninja and even the everyday citizens, he distanced himself to, by eyeballing it, eighty meters from his previous location. It was only natural for him....long range was his specialty. If those who would oppose him gave him the opportunity to put distance between them, that was their own folly.

Then, everything stopped. Or, it seemed like it did to Tame. The moment before a huge, devastating assault....it was breathtaking, awe-inspiring, yet filled with angst for the inevitable attack.

Time marched forward, and that one tick of the clock in Tame's head heralded a magnificent and horrible sight: a dome or ball (he couldn't tell whether it dug into the ground from his current vantage point) of energy, and a larger orb of distortion around it. Then, a forceful wind swept through the area. If he had to guess, Tame would have ventured that it was a shockwave of some sort. The Hokage was famed for wielding Bakuton....yet the former Yamada had no idea of its power until that second. Indeed, he could still see buildings collapsing from the awesome power of the attack, even if not caught directly in it. Whatever was in the direct attack radius....well, it wasn't there any more, that was for sure. Either way, Tame knew he had to take a closer look.

Hopping up on a rooftop (at least the group of buildings he hid behind didn't fall; a few here and there still stood where the attack was launched) Tame snuck in typical ninja fashion (in his experience, it was far enough to avoid any detection) to follow the Hokage, who was now exiting the huge crater that was seemingly the result of his own attack. 'Twas impressive, to say the least....Either way, the Hokage navigated himself to a street that was seemingly untouched by either of their assaults. Tame, reacting to the start of the Fire Shadow's movement, tried to keep ahead of him, but his lead did not stay for long. The sheer speed of the Hokage allowed him to match the Missing-Ninja's own. Tame decided that he needed an area from which to strike...since it wasn't a good idea to engage a Sharingan user, especially one as powerful as to be named Hokage.

The Nuke-ninja climbed a tower that, from the top, was about thirty-five meters from the street Tatsumaru had just jumped onto....with astonishing speed, the former Hidden Stone ninja would quickly draw his arrowguns and surge chakra through them. I would like to say this is the end.... He would have loved to project that to the Hokage, but it would give away his location. If they were visible, his arrowguns would have surely been glowing with chakra; the sheer amount of effort he would put into this one shot was unimaginable. As the Hokage's back was to him, both due to luck as to where he turned and how Tame was trained, he noticed....Huh, you have a nice ass. Too bad I'll have to gore it. Combining them into the Arbalest form, he began to charge his shot, and released it soon after. Strike Raid...and Warp Snipe. I won't let you get away...! A single, rather enormous bolt of crystal left the tip of the combined Shard-Stinger arrowguns. This attack, if he had not taken the necessary steps to cover his weaknesses, would be noticed very early. But no....over the past five years of being a Nuke-ninja, he ran countless simulations, even on the innocent....

The bolt, which had the same imperceptibility of Tame himself, flew at amazing speed towards his bare torso, right in the top middle where it would sever his neck. The shooter had his eyes wide open, trying to detect the slightest movement of the Hokage, so that he could direct the bolt at him should he move. Despite its speed, it could be controlled. Of that he wasn't certain, but was confident enough. Chakra was responsible for many extraordinary things, after all; even all these maneuvers were completed in the smallest amount of time he could manage, which was quite impressive seeing as he was a Jounin.

After his lone shot, Tame departed from his tower, in the direction opposite the Hokage, to take shelter from any retaliation. Lesson number two of Kyuujutsu: shoot and run, shoot and run.

Sousetsu Senju

Sousetsu Senju

D-rank
As Sousetsu was nearing his destination he could see many shinobi fleeing the area hastily. He slid to a halt as the water still surrounded his feet as a few of his comrades leaped past him. With a blank expression lingering on his face Sousetsu simply stood and scanned the area in order to gain some information on the situation. Upon further inspection, he noticed the cloud of smoke that surrounded the area. From what he could tell, it did not seem to subside so it must have been a technique but none of which he had come across during his lifetime. He looked at the surrounding buildings which were decaying as a result of being within the cloud as the cut off point left buildings unscathed. 'A cloud of smoke that withers anything within it?' Sousetsu thought to himself as he looked for more useful information to serve him. A few arrows could be seen stuck to the wood in buildings of the surrounding area to which the Senju immediately took note of. He did not know of a Konaha ninja with any ranged weaponry so it may have been the culprits.

Before he could look any further, a warm orange glow could be seen through the smoke filled area upon a figure. Sousetsu squinted his eyes to get a better view and took note of further details. It was the Kage's robes. At least the Hokage was fulfilling his duties to help protect the village. A fiery flash skipped through his eyes from the skies but paid little attention as the Hokage, Tatsumaru, leaped from the building in which he resided on to gather great distance in height before falling at an incredible speed. It was a chemical reaction to Sousetsu, the faster he went the brighter he glowed until it was unsafe to continue watching. He shielded his eyes as he raised his arm to help protect him from any visual disruptions but he was still required to turn his head before hearing a great explosion. His eyes widened as he heard the great blast and turned to estimate the blast radius. As great as it was it did not reach Sousetsu yet he continued to shield his eyes from the dust particles that flew as a result. Throwing his arm down he widened his eyes once more. 'What is he thinking!? There are civilians still within the area!' Sousetsu hesitated to speak up so just kept to talking to himself.

Sweat was beginning to trickle down the sides of his forehead. He was nervous as all he could think about was the casualties. With haste, Sousetsu decided to formulate a plan to rid the evildoer sooner before the recklessness of the Kage would destroy the village. He turned to face his comrades and waved them down to join him. "What's the situation?" The Senju asked in a military fashion. 'From what I gather, this culprit is long ranged. We need to get in close and isolate him. Other than that, I still do not know much about him, can't be too hasty...' Sousetsu thought to himself as he watched the remains come into focus as the clouds of the many particles began to scatter to give a better view. A huge crater was left, there was no enemy to be seen. Did he get him? He doubted the villain who had caused this much damage would be taken down so easily. No, whoever it was was alive and planning for their next attack. A man with range would have no reason to come any closer than he too, although, Sousetsu did not know anything apart from this. He might have been a proficient close range fighter but his hunch told him otherwise. "Scan the area!" Sousetsu yelled to any who could hear him.

Owydelu was now watching as Tame was destroying everything around. He suddenly escaped, using a fast and powerful leap, from the wooden prison. At the same time, the user escaped from Takeshi's Grand Fireball Technique too. Suddenly, from somewhere away, someone started to talk: "Death can only lead to more death, and eventually yours will come. Going up against an entire village is rather gutsy of you." "Lightning Release...," his hand sparked as Raiton built up, and three daggers appeared, live with yellow light and volatile energy, "Flash Darts!" he threw them, aimed at the general torso area of the enemy, before sprinting to the left at full speed and hopping down from the building, landing on his feet next to the white-haired ninja. You're as dead as the rest. said the Green Haired one.

Suddenly, Owydelu felt like he was starting to melt down. Was this a genjutsu? A very powerful genjutsu? It may have been, judging by the abilities of the enemy, we could've said that he uses these kinds of abilities for a possible retreat. Seeing how the Kage and other 4 ninja arrived there to fight him, maybe the Nuke ninja could've taken in consideration the fact that he may be too outnumbered to fight this many ninja at a time. He was even looking like he wanted to retreat, trying to get further and further away from the Konohagure Ninja.

The senzation of a burn Owydelu was having was spreading all over his body. With a powerful and long leap, Owydelu retreated 5 meters backwards, from where his strange senzation fell a little down. What should we do Sensei?" Owydelu was aware that Rinshi was happy to see a common face in such a battle, but this attitude destroyed our Kage's disguise, Uchiha Tatsumaru's. This was nothing to joke with. It could've have costed Konohagure's safety, Tatsumaru's safety and any other people's safety.

It seemed like they were speaking one to each other, when, finally, Tatsumaru got up and he took out his Kage Robe and Hat. Now he was standing on his foots concentrating his chakra. Suddenly, he screamed: "KONOHA SHINOBI, FALL BACK IMMEDIATELY!"  Owydelu was aware of his Kage's skills and he jumped 15 meters away from his current position. After he landed, Owydelu ran and jumped another big portion of the village, like 20 meters, from where he could've observed Tatsumaru's Jutsu without involving and getting hurt. Suddenly, after doing some hand-seals, Tatsumaru began to be consumed by a sudden sphere of raw energy as a massive explosion spread from the surface of his skin, forming a beautiful sphere of orange and white light. It was a poweruful smoke from where Owydelu couldn't see anthing after the attack. He just started jumping and running as fast as he could, hoping that his Kage is still alive.

OOC: And now, I'm off to return to Kumo.

Nagare was starting to lose control of his body, as his consciousness began to wane. The darkness was closing in around his eyes, and colors around him began to fade. He needed to get out, before his darker side took over and started killing innocents. He recreated a Dragon hand seal, and the flames that cloaked him dissipated immediately. Breathing hard, he noticed that the smoke in the air from the explosion was cleared, and the Hokage still stood in place, searching. Not a sound to be heard aside from the distant screams of villagers, no sights to be seen but the fleeing people and the Hokage. The missing ninja had disappeared entirely, probably dead from the blast. With that, Nagare concluded that his necessity of being there was no longer needed, if the target was eliminated, all the more justifying that he should go, now. His chakra was forming a dark aura around him, making him stick out like a sore thumb in the chaos.

The Sannin closed his eyes and rapidly summoned bats to his side, moving so quickly that it happened all in under half a second, a simple blur to the human eye. Once the bats' merging was complete, he made a hand seal and dispersed into a cloud of them, flying away far from the scene. This was the destroyed South gate of Konoha; he set his sights on the horizon North and flew to the forestland, keeping his flight path inbetween buildings and obscured by trees so that no one could follow him (even though they would never know it was Nagare in the first place, not in this form). He gave one last glance at the crater behind him and the Hokage in the center before disappearing into the woods.

The arrow took Tatsumaru completely by surprise, it's tip piercing his heart with ease. The young hokage fell forward, falling face first back into the crater he had created with his earlier explosion. Tatsumaru's left hand wrapped around his necklace, giving it a firm tug which snapped the cord that bound it to his neck. Tatsumaru's hand began to glow violently, and as he squeezed the necklace tightly, the light faded, a small localized explosion having shattered the gem. "I guess... I failed you, Shiho..." he choked out, his eyes closing for the last time.

The smoke was almost dissipated, thing that may have increased Owydelu's line of sight. He was about to go move closer to the target, thing that may give Owydelu a huge advantage in the fight, if It'll still be one. The smoke was almost gone now, and Owydelu started sensing the prezence of the Missing Ninja once again. He was kind of hiding in a place, trying to get a perfect ocassion to strike us right where it hurts. Suddenly, Owydelu felt as an arrow was launched in the dirrection Tatsumaru was. Owydelu started screaming: "Tatsumaru, get down!" The message got to Tatsumaru's ears too late and I don't think it was a clear one. The arrow took Tatsumaru completely by surprise, it's tip piercing his heart with ease. Owydelu couldn't believe his eyes, now that the smoke was completely gone. He jumped right to Tatsumaru, to check his pulse, to see if he's still alive. He was completly dead. There was no chance of getting him back now. Owydelu called the medical ninjas, to try and look after him. Owydelu was scared and, almost for the first time, a tear dropped from his left eye. Owydelu didn't even blink. Tatsumaru, the Hokage that Owydelu swore he'll protect with the cost of his life, was now dead. He got up, while taking a look again at Tatsumaru. He left the medical ninjas with him, as Owydelu gently jumped from bulding to building, trying to get home. This was one of the worst days in his whole life. This day was to be marked as the black day when his acknowledged Hokage, Uchiha Tatsumaru died while fighting with the missing ninja. There was no sight of the enemy, so all that Owydelu could do now is to get well with the idea of Tatsumaru-Sama's death.

A slight glow of the barrel of his arrowgun that only he could see; it signaled the end of this little altercation. Crystal dust formed from the barrel itself, collecting in a bolt that was one with the tip of the barrel. Then, it sprang forward, materializing itself in a form that no one could see but the sniper himself. After it left the arrowgun, the tower the sharpshooter was standing on crumbled, from the sonic shockwave his bolt's firing had created. Rather astounding, even to himself....that his attack had broken the sound barrier.
Tame supposed he had done a bang-up job of killing the Hokage. The jewel-shaped bolt made a delightful crack-squish as it penetrated his spinal cord, just below the brain stem and thoracic vertebrae. The very sensation of knowing he did this, to a Hokage no less, was simply riveting. It gave him shivers of delight. Before he could know what happened, he would be dead. Both his being nigh-beheaded, and his atria being lacerated; it would be too much for a Medic-Ninja to fix, at any level. In any event....Tame had one last thing to do here. Using his still-active imperceptibility, he went around town....and lit some matches. The rain, by this time, had already dried up, his Abrasive Devastation's miniature weather system having expedited that. Not to mention the Hokage's attack blowing tons of dust around the area....it was rather something one could call 'the perfect storm'. Each match he lit took little coercion to spread their tongues of red and orange. Strange, how so feeble an item could cause so much destruction. Undoubtedly, the village ninja would be out looking for their Fire Shadow....strange how the very thing their philosophy was based on was now destroying them.

Within a minute or two, Tame had set fire to at least four buildings in each district of the Hidden Leaf....fifty in total. It was then that he decided to return to the scene of the assassination. Just as he had planned, the fires he started had distracted even the higher-ranking ninja from attending to the Hokage. Only the Medical Corps was there with him....which he didn't even need to waste bolts on. The edged spikes of his Shardstingers would dispatch them without issue.

This would be a simple escape.....the ultimate insult, not just killing but TAKING the Hokage. Picking the young man up, which he really didn't like doing due to his lack of exerting physical strength, he noticed something on the ground. Fragments....of something. Tame was a jewel fanatic and collector, and knew one when he saw it. Something a Hokage might have had....well, it was enticing. If he had to guess, it was the fabled Shodaime's necklace. The young Nuke-ninja quickly gathered up the fragments---he knew he had gotten all of them, visualizing the complete crystal structure and mentally piecing them together---and went on his merry way. The man was a fool to think he could destroy it beyond repair. Though, it must have seemed a bit odd, a completely naked man being suspended in midair, carried along by an invisible force. It certainly was for Tame....completely unclothed men....not his cup of tea, not like this; rigor mortis made other things uncomfortable for him as well. The two red orbs wide with rigor mortis....another spoil of his. The former Fire Shadow's hand rose like a marionette's.

Farewell, Konoha. Wave buh-bye....Hokage-dono.

A maniacal laugh resounded throughout the Village Hidden in Leaves.
