"Story of Yuzu"
Deep within forests hidden among the trees of the water country the Yuzu clan was a peaceful clan who had aimed to grow and collect fruit. They were citrus farmers however in the times of the first war they lived relatively peacefully and even the second, but in the third great ninja war while many shinobi had been away from Mizu no Kuni, the peaceful clan of Yuzu who had concidentally stayed in their own small village of Yuzugakure were invaded.
All the fruit and herbs were taken leaving nothing for the villagers and the clan itself began to die out. In an act of desperation the leader at the time Yuzu Shiatra took all the children along with her to find refuge as the war came to an end they met with the Mizukage seeking aid.
It was then that the Mizukage made a deal in exchange for them taking the Yuzu clan into their ranks the Yuzu clan must allow atleast one to two children to be trained as shinobi. Shiatra was suspicious but having no choice agreed to the deal and moved on.
Several years passed and the clan grew once more however the Yuzu clan never became large with many members becoming shinobi but Shiatra's eldest daughter one of the children who grew up decided at the age of twenty when she took over from her mother that they should change their terms.
It was unclear what was offered but the Yuzu clan had a talent for finding and collecting plants but the truth was that they had a very strong link to water which resided in all plants.
In exchange for allowing every member of the Yuzu clan to become a shinobi, they asked for the secrets of the seven shinobi swordsman and after years of training and practice they had developed ways to craft special weapons.
From gatherers and farmers to crafters and swordsman. However their true strength was in their ability to manipulate water developing one unique ninjutsu along with one secret kenjutsu as well as one mixed ninkenjutsu. It is unclear the structure of the clan as they seem to be scattered all over Mizu no Kuni however...
Their main home is currently a small citrus fruit forest beneath a lake, the entrance hidden from everyone besides the Mizukage and Yuzu clan members as well as those who receive a special seal provided by the Mizukage herself . While their numbers are small the forest beneath the lake is large. Their home beneath the lake also shows off their ability to use Fuuinjutsu sealing off areas to prevent the water from collapsing down on their home. The seals are waterproof as well as resistant to most breaks due to the seals being multiple seals upon seals.
Also as is custom shinobi have a seal placed on them at birth which is done through carefully skilled medical jutsu performed by several members of the Yuzu clan and the Mizukage. This seal is permanent due to its location with its removal resulting in death if done incorrectly
Kekkei Genkai Description: Suijinou
This unique technique allows an exceptional amount of water control allowing the members of the Yuzu clan to utilize water from the air itself fairly easily. The kekkei genkai has three distinct abilities that exemplify their dominance with Suiton. The main ability is known as the Suijinou Arts and in order to handle the intensified use of their arts they have a seal placed on them at birth.
The Suijinou Arts allow every suiton jutsu to have an extended or altered form that follows on from the original technique. The enhancement must follow the rules of the art and when adding this to jutsu requires a word count that is equal to 50% of the jutsu's training words required. These extensions also have chakra costs and a cooldown to refresh.
Drawbacks: Due to their excessive affinity for water they can not learn any Katon abilities as well as take an extra -1 from Katon abilities that hit them.
Members of this clan may not have a third or forth element.
May not take the specialist characteristic as Yuzu clan members are primarily focused on using swords.
Due to their unique blood that flows through their veins they are more difficult to heal or be treated than normal Pharmacophobia

- Suijinou First Art:
Scatter... Allows a Suiton Jutsu to be split in order to hit the target at the cost of reduced damage. The rank also effects how much the jutsu can be split. The number of times it can be split is equal to the rank where D=1 and each rank above that can be split more. The split that follows on has a reduction in damage per split since it is essentially increasing the number of projectiles or attacks from this technique. Cost is Rank-1.
Example : Water Dragon Jutsu sends forth a large water dragon that does B-Rank damage, it can be split into two dragons which have only C-Rank damage or it can be split into four dragons which have only D-Rank damage...
The scatter can also be done in the form of an explosion in which case the damage remains the same at half the radius used and the cost varies according to radius
3m = 0 cost
6m = 5 chakra
10m = 10 chakra
20m = 15 chakra
40m = 20 chakra
Cooldown is 10 posts
- Suijinou Second Art:
Condensation... allows a water jutsu to become heavier and generally more effective in terms of its capability at increased costs.
When applied to the hidden mist adds a 1m.s-1 slow effect per rank of the mist used, this needs to be trained and has no other effects to the hidden mist technique. It has no cooldown and can only stack at most 2 different mists at any given time.
When applied to defensive jutsu doubles the duration and adds 50% more defence at the cost of its rank-5 chakra.
Example: A-Rank water shield can block 2 A-Rank jutsu, will not block an additional 1 A-Rank jutsu blocking in total 3 A-Rank jutsus... Take note that you would be spending around 25 + 20 = 45 chakra where you could just use a single S-Rank jutsu to block up to 4 A-Rank jutsus for 30 chakra... However the increase to duration means the enemy will not have the option to wait out the defence
When applied to offensive jutsu at the cost of an additional 5 chakra per effect you may
Increase duration by 1 post per 5 chakra
Increase damage by 1 rank per 5 chakra capped at S-Rank
Cooldown is 10 posts
- Suijinou Third Art:
Sealing Waters... They may convert a suiton technique to have a sealing version which applies an effect dependent on the sealing technique trained. The water seals are rare and only one water sealing offensive technique may be used on an enemy at any given time and requires concentration so depending on the strength the user will either be stationary to maintain it or if it is a minor seal then the user may move freely, these abilities require 5000 words each to train and 100ryo unlike the other arts.

Description: A while skilled kenjutsu technique in which you raise the sword from the ground all the way forward and upwards with a near perfect swing while slightly manipulating the water in the air to reduce the slowing down of the swing. At close range inflicts a wound but at a distance the water in the air is cut dehydrating an object to some degree while also pushing a force forward as the water in the air splits.
Can also be used to split water apart for a brief period of time to allow one to dash through or to remove the footing of someone standing on the water. The technique may also push someone back at Rank B and up while travelling with an expanding arc.

Description: Having had problems with mist when the Yuzu clan first arrived in Kirigakure they developed a technique using their unique control over water to apply a special lense of water over their eyes.
Due to the unique way in which the lens is made allows the user to see through mist to some degree depending on level of skill
At ranks B and up this technique allows one to see through genjutsu 2 ranks below it, as well as resists genjutsu triggers involving sight due to the alteration of incoming light towards ones eyes.
Also keeps dust out and reduces negative effects of bright light. Please note that genjutsu resistance may not be used to escape visual genjutsu already affecting the user.

Description: A technique developed from hard work and with strict pattern of technique. That works in three stages.
First Stage : Using suijinou to gather the water and Fuuinjutsu to seal it along with a portion of ones chakra into a sword. This takes up one post.
Second Stage : once sealed the blade may be left on its own but may not be used to attack during this stage. This takes up second post.
Third Stage : swing the sword and releases all the chakra however utilizing the skills of Mizukiri along with suijinou causes the water to strike in a location with force then explodes.
This will also result in nearly all water leaving the point of explosion resulting in severe desertification of trees forests and wearing down of rocks caught in the blast radius.
The force of technique influenced by precise focus that causes the water and chakra to explode causes deep cuts, bruises and can damage bones from shear force.
The opponent may also be knocked out however depending on skill level the effects could be worse.
If technique is blocked at close range the user takes half of the damage of the attack itself. Reduction due to suijinou enabling user to resist effects.
A-Rank
Close Range Damage A-Rank Are able to cut through an non armoured person with relative ease and deal 4th degree tissue damage, and is often fatal on direct impact.
Ranged AoE Damage A-Rank Will reduce area within 80m ahead and 20m radius of this straight and rectangular attack desertified and opponent suffers cuts, bruises, fractures to bones from the force as well as dizzyness from the knock leaving weak people unconscious or weakened. The attack bursts off to the sides of the user as it blasts forward over a large area.
S-Rank
Close Range Damage S-Rank Unless user has a special technique that allows weapons attacks to pass through them or insane level of regeneration the close range slash will destroy and tear the opponent apart completely.
Ranged Damage..Will reduce area within 150m ahead and 50m radius of this straight attack... this will also leave a scar across the earth which will be unable to bare fruit which is why this technique was is the most powerful technique of the Yuzu clan. Or atleast the most powerful technique not forbidden.
Anyone caught in the blast suffers severe damage to their bones and body in general as well as sometimes having limbs severed from the force of the technique. Only extremely tough or skilled people can resist dying from the blast but severe wounds will be inflicted on those who can not avoid it.
Desertification
Plant life or non ninja animals dry out and die, with some plant life becoming brittle while others fall to dust. Cactuses may survive but shrink to half size. Because of the nature of this technique repeated use is not possible due to the amount of water lost in the area which normally results in desert patches if not dealt with

Description: The Yuzu Clans most powerful defensive technique ever created. The user calls forth waters that burst forth from around him and whirl around in a barrier or dome like bubble around the user. This technique can seal up to two jutsus of its rank or four jutsus of a rank lower. Anything two ranks and lower than this jutsu have no effect on it. The jutsu stores energy from the strength of the sealed jutsu.
The jutsu gains charges where same rank = 2 and a rank lower = 1.
D to B rank charges
When at least 1 charge is gained the user may ....
When at least 2 charges is gained the user may ....
When at max charge the user can use ......
A to S rank charges
When at least 1 charge is gained the user's next Suiton jutsu will act as a +1 rank when facing another jutsu, however damage range and other details remain the same.
When at least 2 charges is gained the user's next Suiton jutsu will have +1 rank when facing other jutsu and bonus +1 duration, cooldown of jutsu is increased by +2
When at least 4 charges is gained the user's next Suiton jutsu will act as 1 rank higher in every aspect...
This effect can not be applied to S-Rank jutsu and can not be used more than once for an A-Rank jutsu
