Kenji stood at the border of the village; he was here to carry out a dangerous mission that consisted of ridding an area of a ravaging beast. Kenji had plenty experience fighting brutes, but this would be the ultimate brute. All Kenji knew was the monster was strong and wild, implicating dullness. Initially Kenji was to take this mission solo, but it was rethough due to his natural frail stature. Therefore, they assigned him a teammate for the job; a shinobi Kenji knew well and was glad that he would be coupled with someone he could trust.

Both Kenji and Yoshiro have grown a lot and both sported new physiques and skill sets that marked their developement as shinobi. The two kept up with each other over the course of the last five years; but it was minimum and this would be their first true combat situation as a team. Waiting for Yoshiro, Kenji now stood out near the border looking into the barron wilderness that hid the beast.

It was a late night out for yoshiro his night full of drinking at the sky bar the night before causing him to sleep through his alarm, a pat on the shoulder from his gorilla sasquash waking him "Yo you gotta get up, Mission time" the large gorilla grabbing the sleeping mans nose, *Hurph* a gasp of air "Yeah nice way to wake me up Monkey-Man" Yoshiro says getting out of bed slowly wondering around his room putting on his clothes before heading out, his fox Komomi following the tall man "You coming Sassy, Be a darl and close the door after you" Yoshiro says in a taunting tone *ThuD* Sasquash following the boy slamming the door after him "Yeah Closed It" Sasquash replies taunting the boy.

Yoshiro was running late making his old friend kenji waiting for nearly 30 minutes before reaching the border of the village the surrounding woods, Yoshiro somewhat familiar with training and taking his two pets for bush walks through them over the years, It was there he saw his old friend the time between their meetings all most a full year caused a flash back effect the image of the short blue haired teen that he first meet now replaced with a tall muscular man, His face almost changed by the years passed "Hey Kenji long time no see" The silver haired man shouts, Komomi running ahead of him to greet Kenji brushing against his leg once reaching him, As yoshiro reached his blue haired friend his gorilla sasquash lurked from behind him eying down the blue haired man giving a small grunt, "I don't believe you've meet Sasquash yet, Sasquash,Kenji visa versa" The large gorilla giving kenji a slight nod.

"Sorry to have kept you waiting Kenji, I know these woods pretty well I've been out here a fair bit, There's a stream leading up to a large opening with a fresh spring its a hot spot for wild life I think that's are best bet, that with Komomi's scenes of smell and the big guy watching from the tree's finding him should be the easy part" Yoshiro says with a smile looking over the woods ready to not only fight a giant monster but to see the kenji's new found abilities surely obtained since they last sparred as young teens.

Coming up from the heart of the village emerged Yoshiro and his entourage; he recognized Komoni the fox, but with him was also a fearsome primate. Yoshiro introduced him to Sasquatch; kenji reciprocated Sasquatch's nod with a slight wave. "Sorry to have kept you waiting Kenji, I know these woods pretty well I've been out here a fair bit, There's a stream leading up to a large opening with a fresh spring its a hot spot for wild life I think that's are best bet, that with Komomi's scenes of smell and the big guy watching from the tree's finding him should be the easy part"  "Wonderful, seems with we have quite the tracking team. Alright then, let's head out"

They maneuvered through the woods stealthly, Yoshiro leading the way Kenji stayed alert even with Komomi's smell and Sasquatch wathching from the trees Kenji remained vigilant. The rays of the sun seemed to snake through the trees creating a myriad of sorts as they traveled through the treacherous terrain. "So, how do we want to take this monster on; I can provide tons of cover with my illusions, creating more than adequate openings for you and most likely Sasquatch to capitalize." Kenji thought the initial plan was sufficient, they neared their destination; and a run in with the savage beast was almost eerily imminent.

Trenching there way through the rugged terrain the amount of trees, shrubs and foliage significantly slowed down their progress having to slowly walk through the forest to avoid making noise it was twenty minutes before yoshiro, Kenji and his two pets reached the first sign of water a small rock stream which leads up to the large opening that yoshiro describe previously, Taking this land mark as an opportunity to rest leaning against a nearby tree,The tall man reaching under his coat taking out a silver smoking case inside a row of cigarettes and a lighter Yoshiro taking one and lighting it his friend kenji taking the opportunity to talk strategy his demeanor as if they where close to the destination "So, how do we want to take this monster on; I can provide tons of cover with my illusions, creating more than adequate openings for you and most likely Sasquatch to capitalize."

Yoshiro breathed in a large puff of smoke holding his breath and thinking over the plan of attack, With a large exhale his head pointed away from kenji so he would not blow smoke in his face "Well that's a good question, We can call that plan A. If we are able to catch the beast by surprise we will be able to ensnare him in your genjutsu and I can go in for the final blow" Yoshiro replies his years of experience on tracking and killing enemies providing a fountain of knowledge on hunting down targets, taking another large inhale of smoke before flicking the cigarette the building ash falling to the ground "However even with Komo and sas we are making to much sound the beast will hear us coming and if he doesn't the wild life will probably spook them, Depending on the beasts intelligence we could be walking into a trap canceling the element of surprise and range in which case me and Sas should be able to hold him of while you gain range and able to subdue the beast".

With his last puff of his cigarette putting the ember of the smoke out on the soul of his boot before tossing it in a nearby shrub bring him to his final point before continuing towards the top of the stream "Finally I don't know what this thing is but I think the best option is to simply exterminate it, If we leave it up here it will simply be a menace to the wild life and hikers" yoshiro says a stern placid look upon his face as he gives his fox a nod signaling to lead the way "Well kenji its about another 5 kilometers to the spring hope you like bush walks, Oh how rude of me I forgot to ask did you smoke?" Yoshiro says opening his silver cigarette tin offering his blue haired friend one a large smile on his face, ready to track deeper into the woods.

The two of them tentatively agreed on Kenji's initial plan ; they continued quietly and cautiously through the woods. Yoshiro felt confident that with Komo and their perception as trained shinobi they would be adequate in sniffing out the enemy before he could possibly launch a sneak attack of some sort. Through Kenji's spars and encounters with Yoshiro, one of the things that stood out to him was his great attention to detail; he was always quick to react and that would definitely be helpful on this mission.

Creeping through minimum foliage the two neared their destination, and so far they had yet to run into the monster. Their job was to dispose of the beast; nothing more nor less. It was imperative that the monster be defeated if the safety of the people was to be ensured. Periodically glancing at his gloves that allowed him to see things behind him and other areas outside his field of vision, so far nothing jumped out as peculiar. From the dossier Kenji received, he knew that the monster was dangerous and required for anyone that confronted it to proceed thoughtfully, he also took from the details that the monster was most likely quite dull, making it exceedingly susceptible to Genjutsu. That fact raised Kenji's confidence that the two of the and their entourage w
ould be able to detain the beast with medium effort.

Still following Yoshiro, with his combat pets and his knowledge of the area he was the unsaid leader of this mission as his skills befitted the task at hand better than Kenji's. Moving quietly, Kenji kept his hand on the hilt of his katana; his trusted weapon had pierced many but he was hoping it wouldn't have to this time around. Yes, Kenji could handle himself in just about any situation but it would be prudent to let Sasquatch and Yoshiro do most of the damage inflicting as they much stronger than Kenji in terms of physical strength; also, Yoshiro had proved himself to ne a greater swordsman that Kenji.

As Yoshiro smoked his cigarette; puffing and exhaling, he let Kenji know they were about five clicks from the spring, he then offered Kenji a smoke. "No thanks" he replied.

The two were now trudging deeper into the woods, getting nicked here and there by the thorny bushes. Jenkins utilized his coordination to maneuver gracefully through the uneven terrain; both of the Special Jounin kept their eyes open and roaming for any sign of the beast or anything that looked out of the ordinary. They cleared the woods and arrived at the spring; neither Limo or Sasquatch had spotted the monster yet, Kenji walked to the edge of the spring and surveyed the area, looking around… Kenji discerned a weird patch of leavesand dirt that was obviously concealing something, he could tell that Yoshiro with his impressive senses already noticed the peculiar pile and Limo seemed to be bothered by a revolting smell. He gestured to Yoshiro allowing him to check it out, possibly imprudent but Kenji's curiosity wouldn't allow him to let it go. He kicked the pile of dirt and leaves revealing a 2 meter deep hole filled with dead animal carcasses. "Yeah, he's definitely here, good call Yoshiro," then more traces of the beast became apparent as droppings were scattered around the area; he walked towards Yoshiro, "Anything from Komo or Sasquatch? If not, it won't be long"

Upon reaching the edge of the spring the two men split from each looking over the area for signs of the beast, Yoshiro knowing the area and his years of experience hunting down various enemies of kumogakure, the signs of the beast living in the area was obvious his friend Kenji moving towards a large cover pit kicking the covering of leaves and branches revealing the beasts food storage pit, the smell of death and decaying flesh reaching the silver haired mans nose from meters away Kenji looking over the blood filled gumbo of car dissembled animal carcasses, and organs "Yeah, he's definitely here, good call Yoshiro" He says wondering away from the pit looking for further traces of the beast the silver haired man returning his words with a polite nod, Scouting the area knowing the violence to come was immunity yoshiro readied himself for any attack closely watching his surroundings "Anything from Komo or Sasquatch? If not, it won't be long" Kenji says once more Sasquash yelling from the tree tops "Yeah we got company a big guy coming this way" with that the gorilla jumps from the tree tops siding himself next to the kuroka.

Yoshiro stood awaiting the appearance of the figure mentioned by his gorilla the eerie silence set over the forest broken by the rustling of trees as the giant monster approached a spine shivering howling cry echoed through the forest as it made its first appearance pushing over a small tree as it entered from the tree line, The beast was indeed a monstrosity of nature standing at a towering 8 feet his body humanoid yet disproportions long dragging arms reaching the ground, his chest extremely large and muscular and a extremely small head as the best spot the squad of ninja and pets it first just stood in a spot starring at the group startled at their presence not having a small lumped nose without nostril's unable to smell the intruders.

Yoshiro taking the opportunity to charge at the large beast his hands quickly creating seals his large striding steps throw him faster towards the beast, his next step a large leap the additional force of his kuroneko senko sending him meters into the air yelling to towards his gorilla "Sas Senbon fur now" The large gorilla pointing his arms towards the large aggravated beast now leaping into the air after yoshiro quickly applies chakra to his fur hardening it before quickly shooting fur needs launch towards the beast 3 landing in his left leg before having to cancel the attack due to the beast being behind yoshiro.

The large troll like beast was suprisingly agile only receiving 3 of the extremely fast moving fur senbon before his leap towards the silver haired man to be followed with an attack swinging his giant right arm down upon the man.

Yoshiro watching the beast movements carefully the primitive action was obvious creating his sword of death kuro sendo a small jagged wakazashi catching the primal attack with a well place swing cutting through the creatures arm with a large gushing splash of blood the beast and man fall to the ground both landing on their feet, meters away from each other Yoshrio and the monsters eyes locked in a battle of will,  the boy preparing himself for the next sequence of events "Lets finish this hey kenji" Yoshiro's eyes quickly dart towards his friend before returning to analyzing the abominations movements.

Suddenly, Sasquatch hopped down from his hidden perch to alert Yoshiro of the beast’s presence. Eyes squinted, grip tightened, Kenji felt a momentary rush of adrenaline as the infamous monster was now on route to meet his adversaries. Time seemed to float gradually by, giving Kenji an unsteady feeling as the anticipation was almost unbearable. Thanks to Sasquatch a general area from where the monster was approaching was given; Kenji was already behind Yoshiro and his entourage. A bead of sweat manifested down Kenji’s cheek, he quickly became focused and was now fully prepared emotionally and physically for the savage.

The beast entered dynamically shattering the silence; he slapped down a small tree announcing his arrival. The monster in terms of size and grotesqueness didn’t disappoint; standing 9 feet tall with long disproportionate arms that reached the ground and a tiny round head. Kenji couldn’t help but to smile a little. Yoshiro wasted no time as he charged the monster head on, the monster and Kenji’s silver haired comrade engaged each other and Yoshiro came out victorious, greatly wounding the beast. The monster and Yoshiro stared each other down, Yoshiro then told Kenji it was the optimum time to end the duel. It was now Kenji’s time to contribute to the fight, the Special Jounin swiftly and fluently weaved his hand seals; now charging with his gloves of reflection (hands) extended out in front of him. The Genjutsu was a success and the monster would now see Kenji running in the opposite direction.  Kenji would use the illusion to approach the monster undetected, allowing himself to get in position for another phantom assault. In striking range, Kenji released a plume of wind infused chakra. Only seconds passed before the monster began to screech and swing wildly; Kenji used him nimbleness to avoid the wild strikes and proceeded to jump backwards out of range. The beast fell to his knees as he examined his body in terror, Kenji decided that words were not necessary, it was clear that the monster was vulnerable and at the mercy of Yoshiro; Kenji was confident he knew what to do from here…

The cohesion in their attack had proved to still be maintained after the years apart the instant yoshiro mentioned an opportunity for his blue haired friend he reacted quickly forming seals to entrap the abomination in a genjutsu technique the beast appearing to become stunned as he looks into the reflective glove worn by kenji his swift agile movements see him behind the large beast as it swing erratically the blue haired man performs another technique while yoshiro watches out side of the range of the beasts sluggish and primitive swings.

Shortly after kenji's response to his words the large freak of nature lay upon the floor bellows or painful screams and grunt sound from the entrapped creature as kenji stands over the beast obviously waiting for yoshiro to finish the job, Yoshiro wondering over to the beast crying in immense pain he grasped his blade as he looked over his friend "I'm sorry but you were never meet for this world." he says with a calming tone looking over the beast with a quick swing of his sword the sound seized and a silence set over the forest, the endless gushing hose of blood quickly pooling around the beasts body as the head rolls of the frame of its body the hosing blood splashes over the man covering him in the warmth of the spilling of a fresh kill.

Standing in silence as the man looks over the executed monster a strange feeling of enjoyment sets over the man the feeling of taking a life with his own hands a familiar one although never wanting to harm another he did love the feeling of beating others in a fight and the death of an opponent was the ultimate loss, Dismissing these feelings he then turns to his blue haired friend kenji the gushing blood splattered of the tall silver haired man and almost a dark presence in his eyes slowly fading to his normal warming eye's "Hey kenji would you like to go for a drink" the darkness and emptiness of his soul could be heard in his words fading as he regains composure giving him a warm smile.

Leaving the side of the body wiping the blood from his face with the inside of his robe, looking around the open space once more before heading back towards the village after a successful mission.

The beast cried in agony; the tandom worked well together, soon after Kenji's debilitating maneuver, Yoshiro followed up, issuing comforting words to the fiend and promptly snuffing out his life force. The two stood in the midst of the ghastly and gorey display, "It seems that the further I progess as a shinobi the nastier things get; they don't pay us enough if you ask me, and why not, I could use some type of beverage." The skies swirled as the village was never a stranger to cloudy conditions.

The battle was intense no doubt, but it was the anticipation and the hunt that made it eerie; also, Kenji was glad he was assigned a teammate, the fight would have taken a lot longer and he would've surely endured injuries as opposed to now, having not a scratch. Yoshiro was truly a powerful shinobi with an impressive cast, a gorilla who alone can hold his own in combat and a talented fox with great sensing abilites.

It was now time to head back to the village; first Kenji rounded up the monster's head and rolled it into his rack sack and tossed onto his back. Another mission completed, but this monster was said to be related to a criminal organization, and Kenji knew that they wouldn't take too kindly to their monster being killed, no, this wasn't over quite yet.
