Clan History: And as the Sage of Six Paths spread the way of chakra across the world, peace flourished and all was well. But one must wonder, what happened to the people without chakra, the civilians of that time?
Well, let's end the old legend of the Sage with the a new time and age, one of swords, shields, and survival in a crazy ninja world. Now, when the ninja were fighting their fights and the villages were just starting to become something of a community, the ones without chakra realized that they needed to protect themselves also. So, to counter ninjutsu, they developed their own weapons, and all different sorts of teachings to keep peace without a large amount of spiritual and physical energy. They went particularly unnoticed from the ninja, being regarded as non-lethal, friendly, and easily destroyed if needed. That was all true, they normally welcomed ninja into their neighborhoods, and, aside from a fighting style revolving completely around weaponry, were generally powerless in comparison to jutsu.
Now, as we all know, the Senju and the Uchiha fought a lot, and many different battles were being settled to see who went where. However, at that time, because of their complete usage of sword and shield over the many generations, the chakra around the born-powerful tenketsu of the people seemed to flourish and grow, allowing them to, in an unorthodox way, use what the ninja use. However, they couldn't use hand seals or anything of the sort; oh, no, the only viable fighting chakra was in their right hand and left arm, where any small chakra would grow exponentially. At that point, a sword and a shield were traditional to use, as well as the only good weapon to use other than a right hook.
Now, this generation of people created a graceful and dancing fighting style based off this placing of energy, and it was called Akikaze, the Autumn Breeze. Traditionally, it utilized the pushing force of the sword and shield to kick up autumn leaves, stunning the enemy, providing cover, or creating an intimidating effect. The first to utilize it was Mikuru Gotozou, the leader of the largest civilian encampment. As it was, many men were too bulky to utilize the graceful movements of Akikaze, and women became more respected within the encampments, planting the roots of chivalry that they have today.
Decades upon centuries after, the then-weak chakra of the people became strong, almost enough to rival the natural shinobi themselves. The original tenketsu of the right hand and the left arm have become drastically more potent that the ninja, and a wind affinity was commonplace among the swordsmen due to the 'pushing force' of it's techniques. The Akikaze users, who have now pronounced themselves as 'Gotozou', have also developed a sense of upheld chivalry, ettique and honor, as opposed to the ninja's deception and stealth.
As great as the Akikaze was, the population numbers of Gotozou dwindled and finance had run dry, and they begun to seek solace in ninja villages, specifically Kumogakure, Kirigakure, and Konohagakure. As such, they also found a new income of money; the Yakuza, who believed in the respect of human life and solitude. As such, the Gotozou allowed themselves to work as a branch of the syndicate, in order to make money. They grew traditions similar to such people, such as the wearing of tattoos, clothing, and line of authority. However, the criminal organization's unethical deeds came to light, and Gotozou left Yakuza violently. Though, they kept their traditions based off their former employers.
Nowadays, the Gotozou Clan work on the opposite spectrum of Yakuza, stopping trafficking of any sort, taking out crime, and keeping an eye on the security. The wind affinity has become hereditary due to the clan's usage of such, and chivalry has gotten so ingrained that it's downright lethal for the clan member. Due to the hereditary modifications towards the sword and shield, all members of Gotozou are trained from ready age to use them properly.
Aside from having a sword/shield on them at all times, members of Gotozou can be found in large groups, tattoos somewhere on their upper body, or a good amount of white clothing. Gotozou is a ninja clan, but it has civilians who know how to fight.
Kekkei Genkai Description: Akikaze, once a sword style, is now completely designed to be exclusive to the Gotozou clan. Without the required weaponry, Akikaze gives the user an overwhelming amount of power to their left arm and right hand. This is due to the tenketsu points around those areas being expanded, advanced, and evolved in comparison to the standard shinobi. This gives a +1 Rank to Physical Strength with those body parts only.
With the required weaponry of a sword and an arm-shield, the tenketsu points allow a stronger, more controlled grip on the sword and a better defense with the shield. This gives +1 to Swordsmanship when in the right hand, and a boost in the usage of the shield.
Drawbacks: Due to the complete focus on the use of sword-and-shield, Taijutsu may not be a primary or secondary specialization.
All Gotozou members have this negative special characteristic:
- Over-Chivalrous:
- Name:Over-Chivalrous
Type: Negative
Description: This person has an overwhelming respect towards women. This is debilitating for the individual, as he/she will either be dumbstruck or be hesitant in a fight.
- Code:

[b]Type:[/b] Negative
[b]Description:[/b] This person has an overwhelming respect towards women. This is debilitating for the individual, as he/she will either be dumbstruck or be hesitant in a fight.
Due to their origination of chakra from the arms and not from the torso, their chakra pool suffers from a -20 decrease from it's normal amount.

Kekkei Genkai Jutsu:
Name: Akikaze: Touhou no Taki (Autumn Breeze: Eastern Waterfall)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: D-S
Type: Offensive
Element: Wind (Optional)
Range: N/A
Specialty: Bukijutsu
Duration: 1
Cooldown: D-B 2 posts, A-S 5 posts
Description: An absurdly powerful slash. By placing the Gotozou's left arm over the wrist of the right hand, the tenketsu of the arm woulds be supplying energy and force to the hand. Exerting those tenketsu gives a massive amount of moving force to the sword, allowing it to slice or even smash through many things with ease. The movement of the left arm is more of a 'push', than a 'hold', letting the arm tenketsu catapult the force of the hand tenketsu, instead of directing it. The more chakra exerted out of the tenketsu, the higher Rank.
The mechanics of the 'push' is that the arm is adjacent to the hand. The arm, with it's own movement force and power, serves as a platform that springs the hand in the direction of flight when adjacency is separated. Due to similarity of the attack to a two-handed blade, it is a glorified two-handed slice, the placing of the arm switching to spring towards the wanted direction.
Damage by rank, assuming the slice is on horizonal. First human body, then material.
D - Can cut 1 inch. Halfway through bamboo.
C - Cuts 2-3 inches. Bamboo and a half.
B - Cuts 3-4 inches. Can cut a tree.
A - Cuts 4-5 inches. Can cut steel.
S - Cuts 5-7 inches. Cuts most things, halfway through diamond.
There are many disadvantages of this technique. Too much force running through a weak blade may sully or break it, and an uncontrolled balance of chakra between the arm and the wrist may render one's wrist damaged. Also, the slash's force may throw the user off balance. Another problem is that it's a wild slash, with a possibility of collateral damage and a loss of defense. Lastly, due to the dependence on the flat surface on the arm, the technique cannot jab forward.
The name, Eastern Waterfall, derives from that it originated from the eastern encampments of pre-Gotozou. The move was originally a fluid downward slash used as a killing blow or an execution, making the movement of a waterfall crashing down. It was changed into a more variable technique, not just a downward slash, when the 'push' was instated.
Name: Akikaze: Eien no Mikadzuki (Autumn Breeze: Eternal Crescent)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: C-S
Type: Offensive
Element: Wind
Range: 10 meter radius at C, +10 meters for each rank up
Specialty: Bukijutsu
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 12 posts
Description: By coating the shield in wind chakra exerted from the arm tenketsu, the shield increases in sharpness for 5 posts. Also, by manipulating the wind chakra, the shield has boomerang-like properties within a radius and will attempt to return at will. The sharpness and radius will increase by rank.
C - Cuts flesh until the bone, 10 meters
B - Cuts the bone, 20 meters
A - Almost cuts through the body part, 30 meters
S - cuts completely through, 40 meters
The downfall of this technique is that one may induce excessive collateral damage . This also renders your shield unavailable for as long as it is not returned. The shield will become normal after 3 posts, in which it will no longer return. The shield will also not return if it is thrown outside the radius.
If trapped by an outside force and the user is still willing it to retun, then the shield will still attempt to do so.
Eternal Crescent is derived from the fact that seemingly, no matter what, it is a boomerang who will eternally return in it's arc, or crescent.
