It was early Sunday morning in Konoha.  The sun barely over the horizon but one could not tell as the overcast covered most of the sky.  There was a light rain outside that gave an eerie since along with a distant thunder approaching the Village Hidden in the Leaves.  Rinshi lay in bed fully dressed, unable to sleep the previous night, as he was in deep thought about the full day of his mother's death 7 years ago.  Rinshi was able to remember the day vividly as if it were just yesterday.  Rinshi often had nightmares before about what if he and his mother were killed together, they could still be a family.  Rinshi knew this was a depressing thought and quickly shook the impulse from his mind.  Rinshi decided to get up from his bed, walked towards his bedroom door while at the same time, snatching his hoodie from the hook near the door.  Rinshi walked out the door and proceeded towards the cemetery were his mother and fathers tombstones were located.  Rinshi had an emotionless touch and look to his face as if life, was simply meaningless.  Anybody who spoke to him or even were near him. as he walked down the streets, faded out of existence in his mind.

Rinshi stood before his parents tombstones and began to clench his fist holding his head down as it began to rain.  Rinshi fell to his knees and tears began to run down his face.  Rinshi slammed his fist into the ground repeatedly.  "Im sorry Mother.  I wasn't strong enough to save you.  Why couldn't have been me?"

Today was the anniversary of her parents' death, so Rin went to visit their graves. Memories came back, the screams, the blood. She remembered how she barged into the room only to see the killer leap through the window and vanish into the distance.

She pulled the picture left to her by her parents. It was a picture of her great-grandmother in younger days. The picture showed dark blue hair, warm white eyes and a happy smile. Her great-grandmother was a hero and she wanted to follow in her footsteps.

Sighing, she moved over to her parents' grave and passed over the cold surface with her hand.

Rinshi slammed his fists against the ground one final time, before his tears came to a halt. Rinshi trying to stand, brought his left knee up to his chest before standing up. Rinshi watched the tombstone as if something were going to happen and rubbed his hands on the engraving. Rinshi stood up wiping the tears from his eyes and stared at the grave once more. As he thought to himself, Mother i will forever miss you... Rinshi turned his back and shed one tear from the action, as the tear trailed down his cheek he saw a girl in the distance at another tombstone.
