Kimio laid in bed wearing her pink tank top with a picture of a chibi character on it and black boyshorts with pink kiss marks Kimio slept peacefully with both arms thrown to her side forming a sideways v.  Toki climbed onto her bed and began to walk on her right leg, creeping up her belly.  The cat began climbing onto the side of her head and curled into a ball and began to sleep.  Suddendly a loud bang in the Kitchen caused Kimio to awake, she sat up instantaneously and the cat went flying onto the floor at the botttom of her bed.

”Im sorry Toki!”  Kimio proceeded to pick up the petite white cat and placed him atop of her head, where it began to resume its rest.  [color:02ae=light blue]”Silly Cat.” Kimio said as she lightly stroked the cats fur. Kimio began to walk towards the kitchen where she heard the loud noise, she initially believed it was her mother dropping which she had a habit of doing, which also was her way of waking Kimio up in the morning.

Kimio walked into the kitchen to see her mother dressed in attire similar to Kimio's at the time, while cooking breakfast.  Kimio immediately freaked out at the sight causing Toki to jump from her head and scurry away into her room.  ”MOM! I really wish you would get your own style and stop stealing my clothes!”  Kimio shouted at her mother who replied, Oh Hush Kimio, I bought this from the mall, the same day you bought yours.  Besides my curves should be appreciated.”  Kimio became unpleased by her mother's statement, and with a quick wave of her hand went back into her room.

Kimio walked into her room going into her closet throwing the doors open to see her favorite outfit neatly hanging on a hangar.  She grabbed the hangar and began dressing herself for the day because, today would be the day she was finally assigned to a team.

Kimio turned around now fully dressed and grabbed her messenger bag from the hook on her door.  Throwing it around her shoulder, she grabbed her summoning scroll from her dresser given to her by her mother, and stuffed it inside her bag.  Kimio grabbed Toki placing him on top of her head were his little arms and legs began to dangle.  Kimio called to her mom, "Mom!  Im leaving!"

Kimio exited the Tachimei compound on her way to the meeting place to meet her Squad.

"I'm sorry. There is nothing I can do. There is no stopping it now "

"It's okay. You don't have to worry anymore"

----------------------

It had been a very long time since Tenmei had managed to sleep the whole night without waking up every couple of hours.
The moment she had got home from the previous days adventures, the female had put away her things, got out of the clothes she had borrowed from Solstice and laid down on her futon, falling asleep almost instantly. Then, from the moment, she closed her heavy steel eyes, Tenmei had slept heavily, not even stirring until her natural body clock alerted her to the up and coming dawn.
Even now it seemed that nothing was going to change the years worth of routine her father had drilled in to her.

So, just like every other morning, the female heaved her aching body off the uncomfortably thin mattress and shuffled her way over to the bathroom, trailing what was left of her clothes behind her. Then, as her routine went, she scrubbed herself clean with the soaps she had been given by a too friendly neighbor and soaked away the stresses of waking until the dark haired female was satisfied. In a matter of an hour, she was up, dressed and nearly ready to head out to meet her squad......Nearly.

Today's origami featured a crane.
Simple to make, yet elegant all the same, the twenty one year old placed it down beside the tray while she poured herself another cup of tea, filling the immediate area around her with a pleasant citrus smell that intermingled with usual scents of rain and undergrowth.
After a slow sip, she picked up the crane and rested it lightly in her hands, preparing herself mentally to start the meditation. There was still plenty of time before this meeting and today there would be no disrutions......well. At least that was what she had thought.

It was the little black and yellow lizard that caused her focus to slip.
Feeling the morning chill, it had scrambled from her shoulder to the collar of her woolen sleeveless vest and down to where the material tightened near her bound breasts. There, the creature settled with it's tail hanging down near the loose pants she wore, but being careful to stay away from the wide open slits that let in the misty air of the village. It was clear the reptile hated the cold unlike it's owner.
He felt every bit of the cold weather while Tenmei enjoyed it immensely.

With the paper lost to the wind and the teapot gone stone cold, she waited patiently inside until it came time for her to leave and meet up with the others. So, with her usual tea set stuffed carefully in to her bag along with a few other essentials, Tenmei locked the door behind her and headed out to the park where she had been told to meet the day before.

Yesterday had been a good day.
She hoped that today would be equally as productive

(sorry for the long wait, i was waiting for chase, but it seems she's busy, so I'm going to go ahead and post now any-ways.)

Solstice had a meeting with her squad today, hopefully she would be able to meet and introduce them all, and, Great sages permitting there would not be anyone hurt. Solstice had been busy with the matters of the village, and she had, had people on her ass since the rise of the morning sun to question her claims of pay rises to the people and the workers and the builders who were self employed. Which raised questions about lumber, materials, and all of these other things Solstice needed to keep organised for the restructure of the village. It was beginning to drive her insane... to the point she was about to call a state of martial law!

Then the state could just take what it wanted, pool of the money and just ensure that the people were well fed equally, clothed and with a roof over their heads. It would be so much easier than dealing with the diplomatic bullshit. But, she managed to find her way around it, there would be a logging effort and she would have to send and envoy to Konoha for supplies, and perhaps pray to whatever god that they could donate them a Senju Jounin or something of the like. Realising just how god-damn useful that clan would be to the Hokage whenever they needed to rebuild.

Though, it finally came to the structured time of their meet, and though she was filled with worry, she knew that her genin would each be fine with each other. They were hand picked by her after all, and though some were picked for their own particular skills, she considered this team probably one of the most structurally diverse she had ever seen written on paper in Kirigakure for quite some time. The notable existence of her friend Tenmei, a predominant close combat fire user was one of the more notable in the group, as well as the customary support ninja Kimio, though rather basing herself in medical use, she was a sealer, and a summoner, a bizzare, and in solstice's mind, a tactically brilliant combination. And then Shou, who was a Hozuke. Together they would be a team who if they could learn to swallow their differences and synergise would be nigh on unbeatable in combat, and would 99% of the time succeed on their mission.

Solstice left the Kage manor, and with a couple of quick jumps the young mizukage found herself running down the streets of kiri almost faster than the eyes could see until she reached her destination, bounding to one house, then another, before finally to a water tower she leapt and flung herself to the top of a spire which overhung the park before jumping far and down for the training location, picking up more and more speed as she spread herself out and used her coat as a parachute. Reaching the ground she fell to one knee, gracefully bending with the impact and resisting the inertia of the landing before looking at the two who had arrived, one already there and the other still approaching from about fifty meters away, she realised shou was missing.

Disappointed for now, solstice looked to Kimio and Tenmei, proud at least that the two of them had shown up, it was time to get to know one another, the woman before them wore her shining golden platinum gloves, her long black mizukage cloak which hung open, revealing her slightly scarred but otherwise pure alabaster skin save for several black bandages which bound her breasts and long baggy plated Gi pants tied at the waist, which her mask and folded up fuuma shuriken hung off. Welcome you two, Tenmei, Kimio She said giving Tenmei a hug as she addressed her name welcoming her after having missed her for some days, her sapphire blue hair and crystal eyes observed them as she stood back.

My name is Solstice, Ayakashi, Aisu, former head of the Aisu clan and Mizukage of the Village hidden in the Mist. I'll also be your instructor, and squad leader on joint missions. I excel in water and wind techniques, as well as the Ice of my kekkei Genkai, as well as Taijutsu, and Bukijutsu, so, if anyone would like to learn either of them here today, please feel free to ask. She spoke proudly, Though, first things first, introductions, I'd like you to each meet and disclose, well everything to each other, cos I believe transparency is important, it allows us to cover each other's weaknesses.

Kimio began walking to the park which apparently was supposedly the meeting place to meet her teammates.  Kimio walked along the trail that led to the park where the large water tower could be seen in the distance.  Kimio thought to herself, I wonder what my squad members are like.  The Mizukage is my Sensei, so this could be interesting. Kimio saw a girl up ahead with long black hair who looked older than walking in the direction of the meeting spot.  Kimio noticed the girl got with a great distance from her and was now standing looking up at the sky.  Kimio stopped and looked up and Toki began to slip off of her head.  Their was someone on top of the Water Tower who had jumped and began floating down to the ground.

As the person descended to the ground Toki fell off of Kimio's head onto the gound.  The figure from the sky landed on the ground on one knee.  The woman stood and seemed and a quick feeling of disappointment fell over her face then faded instantly.  The woman wore her shimmering golden platinum gloves, a long black cloak which hung open, revealing a scar and long baggy plated Gi pants tied at the waist, with a mask and folded up fuuma shuriken hanging off.  Kimio hurried along forgetting completely about Toki and then stopped and turned around, and bent over slightly patting her thighs and said, ”Here Toki!”  Toki quickly leaped into Kimio's arms and was placed atop his throne located on her head.  Kimio now stood next to the other girl who looked a lot older than her.  Kimio then stood watching as the blue haired woman approached.

”Welcome you two, Tenmei, Kimio.” She said giving apparently the one name Tenmei a hug, her sapphire blue hair and crystal eyes fell over the two shinobi before she spoke again.  My name is Solstice, Ayakashi, Aisu, former head of the Aisu clan and Mizukage of the Village hidden in the Mist. I'll also be your instructor, and squad leader on joint missions. I excel in water and wind techniques, as well as the Ice of my kekkei Genkai, as well as Taijutsu, and Bukijutsu, so, if anyone would like to learn either of them here today, please feel free to ask.” Solstice said with pride.  “Though, first things first, introductions, I'd like you to each meet and disclose, well everything to each other, cos I believe transparency is important, it allows us to cover each other's weaknesses.”

Kimio thought in amazement and how much pride the woman spoke with something Kimio wasn't the best at.  Kimio stepped forward and spoke, trying to speak with the same confidence her squad leader spoke with.  ”My name is Kimio Tachimei, I am a Genin and I am 16 years old.  My mother's name is Korra Tachimei, I excel in Water and Wind and wind based techniques as well as Fuuinjutsu and Kuchiyose.  My clans Kekkei Genkai also known as the Meibana barrier allows me to form protective almost indestructible barriers around myself or someone or something else.”  Kimio pointed on top of her head where Toki layed and spoke.  ”This is Toki he is my cat and I have known him since I was little he is my dearest companion.”  Kimio stepped back and looked at the girl next to her out of the corner of her eye.

Everything? How would one define everything?

Mid morning and Tenmei was not at all surprised to find that she was the first person to arrive at the meeting place. Thanks to her slightly restless nature and quiet inner anxiety, this was becoming a common occurrence which meant that the Genin was not too fussed about finding a comfortable looking tree to lean against and wait out the minutes it took for her fellow squad members to show up, along with their illustrious sensei who was none other than the new Mizukage.
The leader of this village that had fast become her friend after only meeting her for the first time a couple weeks ago.

Usually, the young Genin would find herself sitting down and drinking a cup of steaming tea during her waiting time but no sooner had she got herself settled by a pariculary large tree with a wide soft trunk, a familiar figure descended down from what could have been the water tower, and land in a dramatic fashion not too far from where she had been seated. There was no second guessing who it was, as Tenmei had only known of one person who would make that sort of entrance.
With a honest smile painted across the girl's lips and an almost grateful look in her eye she walked over to meet her new teacher half way and hugged her warmly, embracing her for a few long moments before allowing her arms to fall and letting go.  It had been nearly a week since they had spoken last and the female had not physical contact with anyone else since.

Some habits were hard to shake.

Not a second after she had stepped away from her mentor, Tenmei's steel coloured eyes fell to the female who she did not immediately recognize. She looked younger than her but it couldn't be by much despite what her appearance gave way. With the short brown hair, large innocent eyes and brightly coloured clothes, if Tenmei didn't know any better she would have said that this child did not belong as  a ninja and should go back to her dolls. But thankfully, Tenmei had learned not to judge a person too quickly. She had learned that much from the old merchant who she traveled with before coming here.
He had well in to his nineties when he had found her back then. After revealing his age to her, the old man had tried to teach her that all people were capable of doing great things. It just was a matter of how long it took them to get that greatness and how long they could maintain it. He had been a merchant for sixty years now and he was still going, proving his point.

Judging by appearances was one thing, however judging by actions was another. And this supposed third member of this group was not looking too great in her eyes. Especially when this was the first time they would be meeting each other.
But mo sooner had she finished with these thoughts, her attention was brought back to the other member of her squad who introduced herself as Kimio, someone who specialised in water and wind, but also sealing as well. Naturally this stuck a minor chord that caused a frown to pull at her softened features, but it was only there for a second. After all, not even Solstice knew all that she felt. And nor would she know if this ninja had any thing to do with it.  And then it was Tenmeis turn.

Everything? How would one define everything?

"My name is Tenmei Sotsuji and I use mainly a combination of Katon and Fuuton. I specialize in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, and my kekkei genkai of my clan is what most people call the 'inner heat' jutsu"
There was no need to say anything about her parents, they were no longer a part of her life. She had never known her mother to begin with as she had died before Tenmei even came in to this world and her father was a matter she would rather forget than have to relive in her nightmares every other night. The only thing she could have mention was to introduce Tsukeru who was currently under the white linen bindings that wrapped her moderately sized breasts, and she wasn't about to wake him just for this. So instead, Tenmei finished her introduction by explaining:
"I traveled around a bit before coming here and I have been living in the village for a couple months now"

In her mind, there was nothing else they needed to know. She was here, they knew what she was capable of, what she could do. And that was it. If they wanted to know more, they would have to find out from someone else. Someone that wasn't her.

Solstice was happy with the introductions as they seemed to be going well, Tenmei gave up the information about herself without much of a second thought, though she did not mention the burning factor of her heat jutsu not her need for control. Solstice thought about that deeply for a moment before thinking whether or not she would reveal it for her. In order to more or less warn the other gennin about Tanmei's potentially destructive abilities. Though Solstice trusted Tenmei to have the powers under control, she did not trust the world not to force her to lose it. It was a matter of safety. But, revealing it, was also a matter of trust, and as they were members of a squad, though they did not need to like each other, trust and teamwork was something they needed to create between them to have any hope of success.

Though it seemed kimio was a little more willing, she needed to open the file on kimio again and look to see if the file had the details right on this girl or whether or not they were simply wrong. The file said that kimio was normally a shy and timid girl who was often not bubbly unless it was to her pet, which is why Solstice had picked her to team her up with Tenmei on this squad, though as she revealed her abilities and Kekkei genkai without even a second thought, noting also her cat as an honourable mention, Solstice could not help but double take the sunny disposition of the girl. Blinking a couple of times it was not every day someone was able to surprise a kage, though it seemed if it were going to be anyone, kimio was more likely than anyone else.

Ripping Kimio's file in half, as it seemed now the information was useless and misguided and needed to be rethought by someone who was a little better at her job, solstice was back with the program, looking to the two of them and assessing from her stand point as an outsider their reactions to each other. Statistically their skills meshed almost perfectly, Fuuinjutsu used offensively or defensively was an amazing and powerful tool to have in a supportive role, it was more or less perfected by her second most dominant skill being summoning which simply made her perfect for a second line role in the squad. While Tenmei was a rime front-liner with the combination of Taijutsu and ninjutsu and her potent heat abilities she was able to take the brunt of any fighting.

Excellent, now that you've met each other i have a test for the two of you, which is one i won't actually be participating in unless things go unexpectedly. The two of you will have to travel to the Kirigakure boarder, where a small group of special jounin and chuunin are a little undermanned and when a group like that is undermanned, it becomes the primary target for smuggling and other operations which we're trying to bring down. Solstice looked to each of them as she gave them a simply mission. The idea of this mission is to scout, be silent, and remain hidden from people who could be enemies of the state. But visible to friendlies through whatever means.

Solstice held out a map for the two of them with their location marked on it, it was near a large river which came to a dam, which powered most of Kirigakure. She didn't know that the people who she was sending them to, had already been eliminated by a force out of her control... This mission had a twist in it which would test the two ninja's ability to work together and build on their trust. As well as divulge many of their own independent abilities. Solstice flagged over a medical ninja who was of chuunin rank to accompany Solstice herself should they be in need of medical assistance for whatever reason. Mostly in case of sudden attack, it was a good idea that the small dark haired boy in classic kirigakure chuunin uniform maintained close.

Gear up with whatever you two may need and then feel free to make your way to the location on the map, if there are any questions, feel free to ask.

Kimio noticed the other woman next to her frown at the word of “Sealing” as if there was a sheer hatred towards those who practiced the sealing arts.  Kimio soon became uneasy and sense that right from the get go this one disliked her very much.  The girl spoke, "My name is Tenmei Sotsuji and I use mainly a combination of Katon and Fuuton. I specialize in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, and my kekkei genkai of my clan is what most people call the 'inner heat' jutsu.”  Kimio tried to stay strong but failed as she began to hang her head.  Kimio wished that she would be able to leave soon, because things did not seem to be going well.

The wish would be short lived as their Sensei spoke to them, “Excellent, now that you've met each other i have a test for the two of you, which is one i won't actually be participating in unless things go unexpectedly. The two of you will have to travel to the Kirigakure boarder, where a small group of special jounin and chuunin are a little undermanned and when a group like that is undermanned, it becomes the primary target for smuggling and other operations which we're trying to bring down. The idea of this mission is to scout, be silent, and remain hidden from people who could be enemies of the state. But visible to friendlies through whatever means.”

Kimio began to shiver slightly this mission was dangerous and if she was to fail, it would spell disaster for her and her teammate.  It took Kimio every muscle in her body to stop shivering.  Before she attempted to speak Toki had began to purr, Toki this quite often when ever he could sense Kimio was uneasy and couldn't calm her self.  Kimio began to pet the cat as a way to thank him for his assistance and she directed her attention to her sensei.  Kimio asked ”Se Se Sensei, I was wondering if ummmm, well ummm if this would be an official mission.”

Tenmei

It was hard not to notice.
The drop in expression, the slight lowering of her head, the way she turned to purposefully avoid Tenmei's cool steel gaze.
The young Shinobi was not the best at reading people but the way her personality shifted from being all light, cheery and almost a little child like, to something more sullen and melancholy; well, even to her naive eyes it was obvious that something had upset her new team mate.
And, going from past experiences, the object of her misery was most likely Tenmei, herself. Still whatever the cause had been, the Genin was hardly worried. The only reason why she had agreed to be part of a squad was because Solstice had asked her to, and because she said it would be good for her. As much as she trusted the older female's judgment, Tenmei had yet to see any proof of this so for the time being, she played along, if only to appease her mentor.

Her observations of other Genin was interrupted when Solstice stole her attention by speaking up about a test they were to embark on. A mission where they would have to work together as a team to complete.  From what she understood,  and after listening carefully to every word her Sensei had said, the mission was to go out and spy on these higher ranked Shinobi, to make sure nothing suspicious went down while they were out. This in it self sounded easy but for some reason, it had caused the other female to shake like a leaf. They were not even required to make contact, just a simple reconnaissance and yet the other's slight form was wrecked with tremors at the very thought of it. It took all of Tenmei's strength not to shake her head in disapproval at the obvious sign's of her partner's cowardice.

The moment she had seen the other female, Tenmei had given her the benefit of the doubt, with holding any judgments she may have usually passed based on the girl's appearance alone. But now, she was starting to recall her original thoughts that perhaps this one was not quite suited for being out in the field just yet.

Tenmei waited patiently for Solstice to answer the question put to her before she too stepped forward to voice her own concerns.
"Is there any dangers to this mission that we should know about before jumping straight in to it?" She had started to say, knowing all too well that the Mizugake already knew what she really wanted to ask. What she really meant by that question: 'Would I be a danger during this mission? What if I hurt that fragile thing?"
"And is there anything in particular you wish us to look out for? Like, what sort of signs they may be displaying to indicate that they may be up to something unfavorable? I guess it would be obvious though, but if they feel like they are being watched...."
Tenmei knew that feeling all too well. The prickling at the back of the neck and the increased feeling of unease that followed. People acted differently when they were being scrutinized by other people, even if they weren't aware of it at the time. This was the first mission her mentor would actually be watching and she wanted to make her proud. She needed to make her and her father proud. Only then, would she be able to go home happy.

After waiting to receive her answers one more, Tenmei took the map and tried to commit the location to memory so she didn't need to look back at the paper every fork they came to. Once that was done, she turned first to her team mate and then to Solstice, her mind set on doing well on this mission. Coming back victorious.
"Well I have everything I need and can head off when you are ready....Kimio. If you feel up to it?" Tenmei had asked politely, slipping her back pack over her arms and settling it to rest comfortably on her shoulders and back. There was rarely a time where the female went out without being prepared for anything
"If you still need to grab something, I can wait here"

Sairento Bakuhatsu

Sairento quietly sat up from his bed, the shabby cot in his run-down hut. Such a waste it seemed now after all the work his master had put into it when he was growing up. A simple first-floor hut with a few rooms used to seem so large to him as a child but now it was so small. Even so, the rent was unusually high for such a place, and he sighed as he moved from the bed to his table, sitting down at it solemnly, pushing the eviction notices and unpaid bills away. How was he to ever cover these sort of things? The man was shirtless at this point, only wearing his trademark dark blue pants, and his socks. Under the table were his shoes and he silently slipped them on, tying them into double crescent knots, sighing as his stomach growled. His eyes were a dull grey hue at this point, but in reality he was slightly depressed. He was out of food, and had no money currently to supply himself with anything at this moment. He finished tying his shoes, moving to his broken dresser, grabbing a dark blue shirt depicting the kirigakure symbol upon it, slipping it on over his pale muscular but slim body. After such he pulled his dark blue hooded sweat shirt on, zipping it up almost to the top then putting the hood over his face. His face was shadowed down to his mouth area, which held a solemn flat line at the lips. Once he was dressed he quietly grabbed a gourd hanging over his door, which was now empty at this point, and stepped outside into the sunlight.

Outside his hut he closed the door, moving to the river which run right next to his home. He quietly uncorked his gourd, filling it within the lake. He dipped the gourd in until the bubbles stopped coming up, then corked it once more, placing it in his sweatshirt's pocket. He looked at his reflection, fixing his hair a bit before turning and strolling in the general direction of the village's park. He went there sometimes to meditate or watch the squads come and go, though this time he was going to meet his own squad. He used to always want to be part of a squad and now he was. Sadly though, he did not know who his squadmates were or who his sensei would be. He thought on this point as he made his way towards the park. There were three figures there as he neared it he made out the form of them being women. They were meeting for something important, or so it seemed. The man sighed, stopping to watch them quietly. He wondered what they would be doing, one had long blue hair down to her back, and further it seemed. She wore an air of importance that made her seem different from the other two. Though he still didn't recognize a single one of them. He pondered quietly on what he should do, watching her hand the other two maps, which they would study.

He shivered slightly, but moved closer, shifting his form around to a tree, leaning against it. The shadows cast against the tree by the sunlight concealed him pretty well, as long as he needn't move. He was only twenty or so meters from the group of three females and he quietly uncorked his gourd. He took a silent swig from the gourd, enjoying the cool fresh water before recorking his gourd. His eyes became a curious yellow hue, as he continued to watch the three. It was strange, that could be his squad, but how would he know? True, they seemed to be missing a member but then again he was just recently assigned to this squad and hadn't met any of his fellow squadmates as of yet. He could tell the female with long blue hair would be the sensei but that was about it. He watched them, whistling silently to himself.

Solstice turned her head once she heard the whistling some twenty meters away, there stood the boy, though at first she had thought it to be the medical ninja she had sent for, recognising him from face and from his academy file, taking out a third map, as one of their party had failed to show at their first squad meet, she would simply have to route one of their squad members to a separate group. Raising her eyebrow and the nonchalant youth who seemed to be watching from afar she raised her hand and arched it upward map in hand like one would throw a throwing axe or knife. Lowering it the map would fly quickly and perfectly accurately over the 20 meters to either hit the genin in the chest, or he would catch it.

Yo, Silent,  Solstice would call out rather than indulge his name in the way he would probably rather it said. Ironic considering it would be the auditory cue which caused Solstice to become aware of his presence. Solstice pulled out her own pocket manual which was more or less a ledger of the village in brief, though she had studied it immensely to learn each ninja in the village as well as their talents, she had been starting from the top and working her way down, so many of the Genin she had still not quite managed to get a grasp on, and considering there was more than 1000 genin in the City, as well as probably more chuunin, it was a difficult and ever growing task.

Though sure enough she found his name in the alphabetic ledger. Sairento Bakuhatsu, a blood release user who was apt in both medical ninjutsu and ninjutsu, amonst other things your eyes are known to change colour with your mood, which now that i think about it is kind of cool. She spoke in a low interested and layed back tone as she announced some of what had been written down in a book which was usually meant for Kage's eyes and ears only. Clapping the book shut she placed it firmly back in her pocket and looked back at the boy who she had addressed. I dont expect you would have any problem accompanying us on a training exercise? The Mizukage stated to him and answering Kimio's question at the same time, though needing to restate to him the parameters of the mission.

What i want you to do is group up at a particular location on the boarder and buff up the reconnaissance there, you in? There's a spot open on this squad and they're in need of a medical ninja. She stated with a little intrigue, most genin liked the aspect of being on a squad, and most male genin who were usually within the age range of 15 to 18 would not shy away from working with a squad of three girls for sure. If he did there would be severe penalties for the one who decided against it by the rest of the male community. Solstice looked back to Tenmei, who had asked a couple of good questions, and though Solstice had taken a while to answer she had no intention of leaving them.

,  there should not be any problems on this mission, with a medical ninja present and myself remaining behind as backup. But the mission has its own dangers, I will not say that nothing can happen, because this is the weakest point in the boarder statistically until you get there, but, should something bad happen, i want you to resolve the issue as a team, and work together, I will not physically intervene unless it becomes a matter of life or death, so no looking for me until then. As for your other question, all i ask you to do is scout, the other Jounin can be made aware of your presence if you so wish, but you're there as their backup, and to help if necessary. You'll need to use your own judgement, there isn't really a secret code to know something is wrong. She smiled hoping that the ground rules were laid out.

You can leave as soon as you are able, come back to me when you're ready and you can be off.

Kimio checked her bag before she went off with Tenmei who was already prepared, Kimio looked in her bag to see that she left her summoning scroll at home. Kimio bowed to Tenmei and Solstice as she said "I apologize but it seems I ummm, I seemed to have forgotten ummm something. Ple-Please go on without me, I'll meet yo there....."

Solstice interrupted her, apparently signaling to someone. Kimio turned to see a boy approaching them. The boy had two piercing one on each sidesnake bites. The boy wore a black jacket that zipped up halfway, showing a smiley face on his undershirt. The boy stoodr next to her, Kimio found herself staring at the boy for a brief moment, before she looked to the ground blushing. Kimio could hear Solstice speaking in a low tone, the boys name was Sairento Bakuhatsu. Solstice summed up there meeting, apparently she was temporarily replacing their missing teammate.

Kimio blushed more the longer she stood by the boy. Kimio looked up to Solstice then Tenmei, avoiding eye contact with the boy. "I-I will ummm meet you all at the border"

Kimio took off in the direction her home to get better prepared for her teams assignment.

There was rarely a time where Tenmei wasn't ready to leave at a moment's notice. Back home she had everything put in places that were easy to get to, all stacked and organized. The clothes she had were folded and neatly hung in the one wardrobe with a trunk ready sitting beside it, always open. It was the same with the bag she had sitting fully packed at the door. With the exceptions of a few items, everything she needed was already in there for moments like this where she was called out all of a sudden for a mission or a squad meeting.  It was understandable that people like Kimio would forget something small like that. She had learned that people were prone to things like that. They were not like her. They were not used to moving around all the time. They had a home.

Just as she was about to tell Kimio that it was okay and would wait around while she hurried back home to get the item she had left behind...Solstice's sudden interruption pulled her attention to the young male who had just appeared in the area. She watched as her mentor opened up a book and quietly recited his name and something else that she couldn't quite hear. It wasn't until the tall sapphire haired female handed him a map, identical to the one she and Kimio had, that the young Genin discovered that this was the remaining member of her Squad. So far, Tenmei was far from impressed.

With his piercings, radical hair colour and casual clothes, his appearance was not the thing that bothered her. It was the same as with Kimio, Tenmei didn't judge by looking, she judged by actions. And so far her team included someone who was scared of action and someone who didn't appear to care about what was at hand.

And then there was her....possibly the worst of the three.

"That's fine Kimio, just make sure you don't take too long in getting there" The dark haired female said, shooting her cool silver eyed gaze to the new comer who was still yet to introduce himself properly, not like there was much time for that sort of thing.
"Oh and before you go. Just remember, when you get to the border, just find somewhere to hide. I will be able to see you as long as you are within two hundred meters of my location. You got that?"
The question was directed at both of them, but the comment was said so Solstice could hear as well. Her mentor was there when her new ability first manifested but that was weeks ago and she had improved since then. It was a simple game that had helped the most but the mission was the real test. A test that went surprisingly well.
Now nothing right around her was hidden from site. Not as long as they had a heat signature like herself.

As soon as that was confirmed, Tenmei turned to the only male in her squad, a blank expression masking her feelings about this mission.
"Well then. If you are ready, I will see you there at the Border as well. Don't forget". With those passing words and a brief nod to Solstice, Tenmei pushed off the ground and was gone, heading towards the village border where this training exercise was going to take place, following the directions on the map as she remembered them. With each foot step strengthened by the slightly opened chakra gates around her legs and solar plexus, it would only take her a short time before she came to a silent and rather abrupt stop by some trees

"Can you remember what I told you? Seek the higher ground, see everything. Hear everything. But let only the wind see you"

Looking upwards and around, Tenmei made her way to a particularly average looking tree that was rich in leafy green foliage and had thick branches that climbed up every bit of it's solid trunk. It was on one of these branches, did Tenmei settle down and watch over the area, the place where this was going to go down. From this vantage point, Tenmei would be able to see the other two through whatever cover they may find for themselves but no one would be able to see her. If they were lucky to get a glimpse, she would simply fall back and disappear in to the bushes surroundings it's base.

In the mean time, all she would have to do was sit here and wait for the others, praying that they would not disappoint.

So, the Leader had noticed him. She carried a book with her and read out loud a few things about Sairento. Quietly he gave a sheepish smile, catching the map with a lazy extension of his right arm."Yea yea." It was a lazy reply to all of them. He wasn't much interested in talking at this point, so he looked down at his map. He sighed, trying to commit the marking to memory when he felt eyes on him. He turned quietly to see the girl staring at him and her blush. His eyes shifted to a soft pink hue for a moment before shifting to a curious yellow. 'Great..Just joined the squad and already the emotions are flowing.' While thinking to himself, he committed the map to memory, then crumpling it up and placing it into his mouth. He allowed his saliva to soften up and start melting the paper for a while before he began to chew it, then eventually swallow. He coughed from the horrible taste for a second, then smiled to Ayakashi. "On my way, Lady Mizukage."

With that, he set off, leaping from his position to bound across the park. Once he reached the buildings he leapt to the roof of one, using this method to cross the village quickly, moving towards the borders. He came to the border in time to see Tenmei leap into a tree, hiding herself. He landed upon the ground, and begun to walk past, clearing his throat before speaking: "Sairento Bakuhatsu miss. I'm not sure who you two are, but I'm glad to have such competent squadmates." He said this cooly, and somewhat without any real emotion but his eyes betrayed him as they became a light green hue. He was happy to be on a squad with people that seemed competent. And he couldn't wait to see how they would handle themselves in battle.

While the female hid and the other ran home, Sairento moved quietly to a seperate tree, shifting to sit in front of it, back against the trunk. The shadows cast by the tree covered his body entirely, while there would be bushes on either side, and one in front of his a few feet that would hide him as long as he didn't move. He smiled, closing his now baby blue hues and leaned his head back against the trunk, listening for any disturbances. Should any problems arise, he would be ready for them.

Solstice watched Kimio head home, and ahead of the team activating the chakra effect of her Kage's shroud disappeared to the group, becoming half visable at best she moved at the speed of the kage and headed in the direction of the boarder with the intent of setting up the training which would befall the group, she hoped that nothing bad would befall the trio, she headed out at a pace which the trio could not hope to comprehend or match as Kimio went in one direction while the other two made their way to the border behind her.

Kimio retrieved the scroll from her nightstand seeing as the scroll was an old one. Kimio changed her clothes to what would be more appropriate. Kimio grabbed and pulled on a pair of black shorts, that stopped at least 3/4 the way above her knees and pulled on a black compression tank top and strapped on a black square shaped pouch on her right thigh. The pouch contained mainly medical tools and a few kunai.

Kimio left for the border recalling that as long as she was within 200 meters Tenmei could sense her. Kimio exited the village stopping right outside to find, Toki on a tree branch curled up sleeping. Kimio channeled her chakra to her feet as she ran up the tree and placed him on top of her head. Kimio then began to leap from branch to branch pausing occasionally to catch her breath.

Kimio reached the border as she stopped and kneeled on a tree branch, where she saw Tenmei in a tree to her left. Tenmei began backing into the foilage of the tree branch. Kimio looked down to find Sairento, leaning against the trunk of the tree and was hidden in the midst of three bushes. From what Kimio could see it looked like Sairento fell asleep. The sun began to set and Kimio saw a branch above her and began climbing up. Kimio kneeled down surveying the area beginning her teams "steakout."

(Sorry guys, the Kage is in the thread, so, im allowed to do this.)

Sleuthing through the undergrowth was something the rogue ninja under their master was particularly known for, the dutiful soldier with a wave patterned headband, an etched line straying from one side of the headband from the other crossed her forehead, ducking low, barely visible with an invisible chakra resonance watched and waited along the path two ninja would notably pass, but one of them was alone, moving toward the kirigakure boarder the unwelcome visitor had geared up with his dirt colored burlap cloak and a face mask which disguised their presence.

having already 'disposed' of the sp jounin at their location

The female ninja would run past with a pitter patter of feet, but she would not be the one to reach her destination, the trained ninja needed a hostage, as it had been reported this group of three were the squad of the Mizukage, a high price would befall the soldier who managed to return the three to camp and ransom their delivery.

Darting out of the growth to intercept the ninja en route, at sickeningly fast speeds bordering A rank speed would rocket out of the growth faster than the young ninja would even be able to fathom, a hand reaching out and grabbing for her waist to tackle, grab, and run hoping the girl would attempt a struggle, The rogue ninja had a blade at his belt of about the same rank, able to sever a limb with ease, should she resist, she would quickly find that the missing nin would have no issue using it against her.

The A rank ninja with the single crushing Lariat would probably hurt but not wound the young not combat oriented Genin

"Dont move, dont struggle and I'll somewhat promise your safety..."

The ninja spoke in a low womanly voice, needing this plan to go on ahead, should his snatch and grab succeed, he would trek through Kirigakure's forest to an open area, where the rogue would tie the genin to a standing tree, the rogue would not harm or even knock the Genin unconscious, leaving her to her own hopefully silent devices so long as she follows without hassle, but disobedience would reap its own ... rewards.

Should the rogue get that far, he would hide behind the tree and await the arrival of the other two drawing the blade.

Something is not right

Tenmei was no stranger to the waiting game. Every time her father left to travel the seven long miles to the closest village, the young female was confined to the small one room, stone hut that she had come to know as her home. Every time, she would find a comfortable spot by the fire and then just stare at the door until her father burst through it hours later with an armful of papers, the most delicious smelling foods and a brand new book for her to delve in to, that night in front of the fire.
Of course she worried each time he headed out that door and disappeared among the thick green foliage, thinking that there was always a chance that he would never come back and she would be stuck here all alone. Forgotten. But deep down, deep in her gut she knew that it was alright. A confidence and a reassuring feeling that nothing would go wrong and he would be back the moment she closed her eyes.

This time though....she wasn't getting that feeling.

The instinct that everything was as it should be, had turned upside down and inside out, morphing in a deep pit that pulled in all her anxieties and doubts that she had pushed the the back of her mind before embarking on this mission. And the longer she waited here, staring in to this one spot, the feeling only got worse. Where was Kimio? Where was these people that she was supposed to stake out? The bright, yet shy Genin arrived at the meeting spot only a few minutes after Solstice so she mustn't live that far away. Tenmei wasn't the most knowledgeable ninja but surely, higher ranked shinobi would know better than to be this late. Everything about this 'training exercise' seemed off in one way or the other.
The young Genin was not one to deny her inner feelings when they yelled this loudly. Whatever was going on here, she was determined to find out.

Her mind made up, Tenmei sat up a little straighter on her branch and looked around her, doing her best to remain perfectly balanced and still. From here, she could see the general area, the place where the meeting was supposed to be held and numerous bushes and thick bits of grass where a ninja could easily hide.
Carefully as to not rustle the leaves, Tenmei maneuvered herself once again to sit in a position where she had free use of her hands. Then, she slipped her hands together in to the tiger position and focused on her chakra around her third eye and crown area. For a few short seconds, she closed her eyes and allowed the liquid heat to build up inside her, spiraling in towards those spots as if it was washing away in to a drain. As soon as she felt it start to radiate through her skin, pulsing against her eyes, Tenmei released it in one invisible wave that rushed outwards from her position, touching everything without leaving so much as a breeze. No sooner has it had reached it's mark, it was pulled back in a tide, along with the information of every warm object in it's path.

Then that feeling in her stomach, that pit. It became very real.
She and Sairento were the only people here for a good ten meters. Something was definitely wrong.

Silently, Tenmei slipped from her branch and landed in the shadows of the towering tree trunk, her sharp eyes sweeping from side to side, half expecting something to spring from the thick bushes or from a place in which her Sonar Sense failed to reach. Only when she was sure, none of this could happen, did she make her way over to Sai's cleverly camouflaged position by another tall tree fairly close to where she, herself had been hiding.
"Do you feel that?" She whispered quietly to him, while leaning back against the other side of the wood, standing close but not touching
"Some thing is not right here. I don't think these people are coming....I don't think Kimio is coming either. We should head back and retrace our steps. I don't know about you, but I swear they should be here by now"

Even voicing her concerns made it that more real to the silver eyed females mind. Something was definitely amiss here, and she would not be able to rest these anxieties until she knew exactly what had gone wrong and why. And when Tenmei found out, she would do what she could to make it right again, even if it meant risking her life.

Sairento was quietly waiting for the others to come along, his mind drifting off to think of his own life. He was still trying to figure out how to pay his own way in life, and figure out everything he could to make his troubles go away. He then began to think of the girl who had been blushing when he was standing next to her. She was cute, there was no doubt about that, but he wondered if she would ever actually be interested in him. He sighed, shaking these thoughts away. He needed to stay focused on the tasks at hand. And right now that included waiting for the rest of his squad to arrive so they could guard the border. He then looked up as Tenmei came over, leaning against the tree next to him. "Do you feel that?" What did she mean by that? "Feel what? He was slightly confused as to what she meant, standing up to look at her quietly as she explained.

"Some thing is not right here. I don't think these people are coming....I don't think Kimio is coming either. We should head back and retrace our steps. I don't know about you, but I swear they should be here by now" He thought on this for a moment. She was right, they should have been here by now, there would have to be some reason they weren't and he couldn't think of any that were good. He nodded to Tenmei, beginning to stride forward, towards where they had come from. He would take the leadership position this time, after all, he was worried about the girl and wanted to be sure she was safe. "No time to lose, follow me and stay close. We don't know what danger could be awaiting us!"

He then took off, in a full sprint towards where they had come from. He leapt into a tree, jumping from branch to branch. His eyes were a slight yellow hue now, with slight orange. He was a bit curious and angered but mostly worried about the girl. He was in a mad jumping spree, getting faster until reaching his peak of performance. He leapt for about a hundred or so meters, going past that point to jump back onto the ground, looking around. He sighed, rubbing his chin for a bit and then looked down at the ground. Strange, there were a pair of footprints in the dirt, that just stopped abruptly. And next to Sairento's own fee were a pair going the other way, as in to intercept. He pointed at them, hoping Tenmei had caught up by now. "What do you make of this?"
