It was a normal day in Iwagakure, the suns heat would resonate across the hard earth below as one of the hottest nations in the world would provide climate to befit it's reputation. The ground would begin to slowly scorch as hot air would viciously move above the ground, it was a terrible day for shinobi missions, but it had seemed the damn cat Kazu had saved for his first ever mission had now climbed up yet another tree. Kazu would make his way to the destination, his body immune to the heat the weather provided yet still felt uncomfortable just by the faint notion that everyone was in a shit mood on this particular day. But that was another story so he tended not to dwell on the stupidity of others and continued to walk to his destination.

To the north east corner of his village an idle tree would sit sternly near the stone walls surrounding the village. The tree itself was quite tall as it ranged to 7 meters high and was thick in size with an internal circumference of 2 meters. His neck would tilt allowing his crimson gaze to pan atop the tree only to notice a feint silhouette of the tiny feline. His teeth would grit as he began to limber up, stretching his hamstrings and lower back to prevent injury on the actions he was about to take. His fingers would ready as he would suddenly crouch, he was ready to save the damn kitty.

To be honest Kazu truly couldn't be bothered to go fetch the cat, even though he had a soft spot for felines, he hated spoilt house cats that were dumb enough to get stuck up a tree which seemed to be a constant problem in Iwagakure. Kazu felt the need to teach this damn cat a lesson it'd never forget. A smile would slowly develop across the black hooded chuunin's face, it was more sinister than happy as his hands to twitch at thought of his plan. But of course he was more curtious than most and decided to offer the feline a chance to skip his whole 'lesson.' 


"Okay kitty, you have 5 seconds to get down now before i make you come down." His voice was stern yet had partial higher tones in an attempt of hiding his excitement. "5......4......3....2.....1." and to his surprise the cat still hadn't moved, the already present grin that prided across his face would now become a wicked smile as his hands would instantly come together before creating different hand seals, a thick layer of chakra would begin to develop across his throat whilst he kept his attention on the lower portion of the tree. 


Without notice his hands would sit still, holding the tiger hand sign whilst flicking his neck backward before flames would disperse from his lips, the flames would take shape into a dragon head as it flew across the few meters that separated the tree and the Iwagakure chuunin. The flames would strike the base of the tree, and consume it completely, the tree now catching fire would begin to lean to it's side as it began to fall. The tiny cat would begin to move, it's eyes wide open whilst it's retracted claws attempting to make a jump in order to save it's life. This experience was definitely a traumatic experience for the cat which is what Kazu wanted it to think. Kazu's facial expression would immediately change as he showed no hesitation in saving the cat from the burning tree he created. Chakra would begin to dance across his feet as he bent as legs and lept off the ground, firing his body toward the falling tree, his feet would plant firmly on the tree as the chakra would allow his posture to stay straight on the horizontal angle his body was in. 


With a fell swoop his body would kick off the tree firing himself toward the cat, his left hand would reach out before grabbing the traumatised kitten. The burning tree would collide with the earth below it, a loud cracking south would cry out from the impact. Kazu would emerge safe from the burning tree as he slowly emerged from the aftermath of his rescue mission. He would then take the kitten to the owners house and collect the ryo from Lilith.
