Spark life into your characters and change the world!
All seemed to be well with the end of the Second Shinobi War... Peace had finally been maintained... The distribution of power between the minor countries and villages had finally come to a reasonable stop and there was peace at last. However, you know the old saying: If you give them an inch... They'll take a mile...
With the growing powers of the minor countries reaching unstable levels. It became a troublesome problem for the Major villages to ignore their presence any longer. The Iwagakure, known for their rock-hard beliefs and underhanded tactics began systematically destroying the minor countries which dared stand up to their might. With the other major countries staying far from the conflict that the Tsuchi no Kuni had invoked, many of the minor villages began to disband and take refuge by allying with larger countries if they were not already allied together. One of the stronger villages, known as the Uzushiogakure was stalwartly against falling under the rule of the Tsuchi no Kuni, fighting back at every opportunity. Eventually, being over run by the vast strength and sheer numbers of the Tsuchi no Kuni's military force, the Uzushiogakure was crushed and wiped from the Shinobi Nations. The Hi no Kuni which housed the Konohagakure no Sato, however, was allied to the smaller nation, being long-standing friends and allies. With this, came war between the two great shinobi nations, soon dragging in allies of both countries. It would be the Kirigakure and the Iwagakure versus the Konohagakure and the Sunagakure.
The Iwagakure, known for their underhanded tactics, would betray the Kirigakure, killing off the Mizukage and several of their ninja. The Sunagakure would expend their Kazekage and Sasori in their fight against the Iwagakure, killing their Kage, and in an attempt to cut off the supply lines towards the stone village, Konoha would lose Hiruzen Sarutobi, Minato Namikaze, Kakashi Hatake, Rin, and Obito Uchiha, effectively completing the mission, but losing their lives in the process. With no adequate leadership, the villages would turn to their individual councils to decide the next plan of movement. The war desperately needed an end, however there was none in sight.
