After doing those nothing but D ranked missions back to back, Takeshi was beginning to become anxious. He was starting to wonder why he was only getting D ranked missions. After all, he had only done one C ranked mission, and that was back when he was a genin. He was a chuunin now, and yet he was stuck with only getting D ranks as if he was still a genin. Then he got his second ever C ranked mission which made any worry of being stuck doing D ranks anymore. This C ranked mission was an somewhat easier one, almost like the merchant escort one he took. This time however he had to investigate some miss happenings that has occurred at the silver refinery. Takeshi was already on his way to the refinery, but the time was a little passed three. He did this on purpose for a change of pace after always being uber early all the time. The weather outside was somewhat cooler than it has been for awhile now, maybe it was because it was getting close to the evening and it was slowly starting to cool off. Takeshi just wished it felt this way during the maintenance mission not too long ago. In any case, he arrived at the refinery to be greeted by a man named Takashi which Takeshi thought was kind of amusing.


Takashi expressed his grief and how he thinks they are being sabotaged, so he invited Takeshi in the refinery so he could start his mission. In truth, Takeshi didn’t know close to anything about a refinery and how everything worked, thankfully Takashi gave him a tour of the refinery. Takashi went on to talk about how the production value of the silver has gone down recently, but he wasn’t sure as to why. Takeshi paid close attention to the process they go through with each step of creating valuable silver to help the village's economy. For some reason, Takashi stopped at the purifying tanks to give a lecture on economics. Takeshi was only paying half attention since he was trying to see if anyone was acting suspicious, but so far everyone was doing their jobs. The purifying tanks too Takeshi’s right rumbled and hummed as they did their jobs by actually purifying the silver to raise its initial value. Then Takeshi thought of something, “What if they added other metals to the mixture? Would that be a bad thing?” So he decided to ask this question to Takashi to see what he would say. After he asked, Takashi stared at him for a few seconds and then looked over to the purifying tank. He then yelled stop at the people who ran the tank and they immediately stopped the machine.


Takeshi was confused at what was going on at first, everything seemed to be going so fast, he really didn’t know what he just did. Then it hit him that adding random metals probably wasn’t a good thing to do. Takashi ran over to the tank and dipped a ladle into the tank getting a spoonful of a silvery substance that seemed to have different color chunks in it. Takashi went over to table a poured the silvery substance into a beaker. He then put some sort of purple powder into the beaker and the color changed into a bronze color. Takashi looked down for a minute as if he was in deep thought about something. Takashi slowly walked back over to Takeshi with a disappointed look on his face. Takashi then gave a brief explanation on the events that just transpired. He explained that the near perfect silver content and is nearly completely ruined. They also might had to throw out all of the silver that was in the tank and start a new one, but that would cost the village a lot of money that they would have to make back up somehow. Takeshi reassured him that he would catch whoever was responsible for the tank. He requested permission to stay the night at the refinery which Takashi accepted without any second thought.


So after everyone packed up their belongings, they headed out for the night. Takeshi however was hiding out in the shadows up in the ceiling. He figured that whoever was sabotaging the tank has probably been doing so for a while carefully watching the amounts he or she put in to not raise suspicion too fast. The tank was almost completely ruined so he or she would probably try to do it again tonight, Takeshi had to wait until that time came. As he sat in his perch, he thought about what else the Saboteur would probably mess with in order to lower any thought that the silver was being tampered with. Maybe some sort of log book, or silver count. Takashi didn’t go into detail on how everything worked, for good reason of course. Takeshi kept his eyes on silver tank, at the same time watching all the spots someone could enter from. Then, from the corner of eye he saw a shadow move around. He focused his attention where he saw the shadow move and from there he saw someone at the top of the pouring something in. Takeshi moved quickly and was behind the person in no time flat, and he quickly subdued the person in question. He grabbed the person’s chest with one arm while using the other arm to pull back on the person in question’s arm. However while in the process of throwing to person down, he felt something extra on the chest of the person. It almost felt like...BOOBS!


The Saboteur was wearing a cowl, but after Takeshi took it off he found out it was a woman behind it. The woman shortly after started crying and was apologizing for what she did, which made Takeshi feel bad for her. However, he had to bring her in so she could be punished for her crimes. After turning her in Takeshi made sure that nothing wrong happened during the process of them cleaning up the mess she made. Nothing went wrong, so after a couple of days, Takeshi completed the mission.
