Narku stood in the large housing of the woman known as Madam Chiasa. She was quite the pudgy woman if he could say so himself. He looked over her antiques, listening to her rambling about how her cat continued to run away. With his back to her he blaytantly ignored her cries, feeling more sorry for the feline then her. He could tell without even observing the two together that she was probably the type that over loved her pets. " Do you think you can find her ? " she sniffled before bring a tissue to her nose and blowing it.
Narku nodded his head and gave her a tonless mhmm in response. He couldn't understand why he was being forced to do so many missions. His mother had just recently started pushing him to doing more missions. It was really annoying to think about lately. It felt like she was trying to tell him he wasn't trying hard enough or something. Narku sighed to himself before turning to walk towards the doors of the large house. He lifted his up his arm with the back of his hand showing to her. " No worries, I'll find the little kitty. " he said lazily.
From what she said the little fella enjoyed exploring the dense forest not far from the village. So that is where he would start. He dashed ontop of the rooftops, heading towards the westward gate, that one being the closest to where the woman had lived. " This cat better not give me any problems. " he snarled to himself, knowing the infamous attitude that the feline gave other ninjas that once had to capture it as well. In fact, it was no secret that the feline enjoyed a little stroll every now and then. It so often had escaped from its master suffocating arms that the mission was always saved just incase she wanted to post it up again. Narku launched off of a steel-cased water tower and over the Konoha's walls, shaking his head at sheer stupidity of the situation.
He landed into a tree branch at the edge of forest. The cat had to be close by, it wasn't so desperate for escape that it would leave everything that knew as home. His crimson eyes looked over the vibrant scenery in front of him. It was no wonder that Konoha was known as the Village hidden in the leaves. The grass was the epitomy of health and it trees looked beautiful, it was as if no humans had existed for miles upon miles of the dense forest.
Narku leaped down to the ground before continuing his search. He knew it wouldn't take long for him to find the poor beast. " Maybell.. " he called aloud. " Maybell come here kitteh. " he called out again, sounding a little less then affectionate and a little more agitated. A twig snapped far off from him and drew his attention towards a small bush, the snap of the twig was soon followed by a small meow and Narku was sure it was the cat.
He snuck on it the bush, his hands out and above him, ready to pounce on the cat. " Here I come you dumb cat. " he whispered to himself. Narku jumped into the bushes after the cat. A moment later in a ruckus was ensuing inside. " C'om here you dumb beast ! " he yelled, trying to get his grip on the fighting feline. Its claws scratched his cheek and headband. " Hah, you failed !!! " he mocked still festering with it inside the green shrubbery. Its whinning screeches could be heard on the other side and only a time would tell whether he had succeeded or failed.
.... [ Sunset]
Narku knocked on the door of Madam Chiasa's manor, exhaustion obvious in his weakened knock. A moment later small, heel-like clacks could be heard approaching the door in a hurry. " Did you find her, did you find Maybell ! " she blabbered while swinging the door open.
With a harsh upward toss towards her, Narku released the feline that he had been holding by its collar. " The damn thing was harder to catch then I thought. I better get paid double. " he told her. He turned around and left without waiting for her response. Through all the bs he had gone through today, he'd rather go home then have to deal with her annoyingly conceded voice and her savage pet of a cat anymore.
