Mission description: There has been reports of garbage seen floating in the lake. We want a genin to go out there and clean it up. This is a simple task and should be done in no time, but we wish for all the trash to be picked up so it could take some time for the whole lake to be cleaned.
Mission details: The mission will span 600 words stating them arriving at the lake, picking up the trash and disposing of it.
Boruda sighed as he made his way closer to the lake, he was still fairly aggravated that he had to take such a terrible job, not the day before he was helping with an operation in the middle of the hospital and now he was stuck cleaning trash from the lake, in the middle of the damn rain no less. With his hood atop his head the man stared down at the bottle in his left hand, he had brought it to pass the time if the feelings of aggravation persisted after the first few minutes of the job.
Deciding that such a thing was already apparent he uncorked the bottle with his bare hand, a talent he had learned from his father long ago, and proceeded to down the entire bottle of Umeshu. The effect was instantaneous as a wave of bliss washed over him, eyes glazing over, jaunty tune forming in his brain. Looking about there seemed to be nothing as to help with the cleaning of the lake, after minutes of searching he finally spot a dinghy, inside of it was an extremely large trash-bag, and a retractable pool cleaning net. Looked like he was going to get to play 'The old man in the sea', or well 'The Bald man in the lake'. Ah, same difference.
Stumbling toward the dinghy Boruda aptly tripped falling face first into the muck around the area, ending up covered in mud. Quickly the Shinobi stood, still with bottle in hand, making his way to the tiny boat successfully this time. Pushing the boat out onto the water and hopping in the real task he finally started. Rowing was obviously difficult in his state of inebriation, but the first sign of any high-functioning is being able to do, while in that state of inebriation. So suffice to say he managed with the cleaning.
The staying up right and afloat, well that's a different story entirely. Throughout the whole procedure keeping his balance was becoming ever more difficult, each second increasing the chance of tipping over, with all the trash in tow. Of course inevitably the tipping happened leaving him in the water, along with all the trash he had spent the last two hours collecting...The only logical thing to do at this point was to yell obscenities which, trust me, he did.
After his potty mouth spree Boruda latched back onto his trash bag, swimming the few feet to his tiny boat, immediately flipping it up right and managing to hop into the tiny thing with a fair amount of grace. Dripping wet, well more so than the rain had done in the first place, and quite angered Boruda took the cleaner into his hands beginning to clean the lake once more. It seemed for the time being he was managing much better, the cold water in the lake had a bit of a sobering effect.
With cleared mind he of course completed the task with much more efficiency , it had become quite evident that getting a little waxed while cleaning trash out of a lake was quite the terrible idea, yeah a terrible idea.
Regardless, he was getting the job done now with surprising speed, it seemed that it was only taking him minutes as to what had taken him hours to do before. Soon he was complete with the cleaning and ready for his next step, bringing the garbage to a proper disposal location. The nearest location was but two miles away, so tying up the bag and paddling the dinghy back to dry land Boruda set out on his way, mud sloshing under his boots with every step. Slosh..Slosh...Slosh...
Soon his long walk was coming to an end, trash slung over his back in a giant black bag, Boruda finally saw the building, well he had smelled it first the stink of a landfill lingering in the air, a small building with a mountain of trash directly behind it, a ten foot fence around the perimeter.
Sighing he entered the building covered in mudd and smelling of Ume. Entering the building he immediately attracted the man at the front desk who took a loud whiff, as if something smelled off to him, as if everything didn't smell like trash. "Here to put this out back, from the lake." the bald ninja stated holding up the bag, to which the man behind the counter asked "Why do you smell like Umeboshi? Boruda shrugged, there was no need to tell the man he had a drink on the job stating jokingly "Some strong cologne, eh?" all the while handing over the bag. The man behind the counter took the bag silently probably, wondering who wore cologne when picking up trash. Of course before the man had the chance to ask the question Boruda was out the door and on his way to have a hot shower and a cold Kirin Strong...
