It was a typical day in Iwa, the sun sat in the middle of the sky producing enough heat to cook eggs on the ground. The weather was perfect for Kazu to complete his first mission as a genin. Walking up a small mountain to take him to his destination, the 'Sightseeing Cliff's.' A hot day was a personal favorite to Kazu, he didn't know whether if it was built in due to his kekkai genkai 'lava release' or because he just liked hot weather in general. Either/or, it didn't matter as either way his day was going to be awesome, he could feel it from heart as it throbbed that tiny bit faster in excitement. As Kazu crept up the mountain his left hand would venture to his pockets only to pick out a small piece of parchment reading his mission details. His eyes would scan for the details, that being "rescue the cat, dog scaring a cat up a particular high tree, retrieve the cat, watch out for its claws." "First mission being to save a kitty cat? Tchh." Kazu was a hands on type of person, what would catching a cat do for his skills? His hands would reach down again to his pockets only to pull out candy. "And today's candy choice is.....Rocky Road." The small marshmallow, chocolate, treats would be thrown in the air only to land on Kazu's tongue before being devoured one after the other. Time would pass and Kazu would reach the Sightseeing Cliffs. A variety of tree's would revolve around the small sight. Kazu quickly thought an estimate time if he had to check every tree. 2 hours maybe 3? He soon devoted himself to finding the cat in a quicker manner. Based on the mission note, the tree is tall and the cat was being chased by a dog so mild tracking would be smart.

Kazu would begin walking whilst his eyes scanned the area looking for visual clues. It wasn't long before he found a few paw print's leading away from the Cliff and deeper in the small forest. He diverted his direction to the paw prints, walking at a constant slow pace whilst observing his surroundings looking for extra clues. As he crept closer to his destination the paw prints would change direction and spread out. Kazu would immediately diagnose this situation as when the dog took off to chase the cat. As Kazu walked deeper through the forest the tree's in fact were taller growing from 10 to 15 meters. It wouldn't be long till the trail ended with scratch marks clawing up a tree, Kazu's crimson eyes would pan up the tree only to notice a small crying kitten atop the what looked to be 30 meter tree. "Holy shit." Kazu would smile as the pure task of saving a cat became scale a 30 meter tree to catch a cat which could potentially scratch. There was only one way to get this cat and it was purely using the practice "Supernatural walking technique" (concentrating one's chakra to their feet to walk on solid entities no matter the angle). Kazu would take a few steps back before sprinting at the tree, each step launching himself forward until he stood a few centimeters from the tree itself. His legs would kick off the ground thrusting his body upwards along the tree soon leading to his feet pressing against the tree and stepping off, gaining meters in seconds.

It wasn't long till he reached half the tree but would soon feel gravity take too much control of his body. Kazu would look to his left and kick off the tree landing swiftly on a long thick branch before kicking off again regaining his balance and starting his mission again. It wasn't long till he could see the cat but the cat was staring into a nearby branch, how the cat managed to climb 30 meters was beyond Kazu. The cat would suddenly jump off launching itself at Kazu and landing on his face. Kazu now blind and mid-air would crash hard into a branch sending him flying down the tree. "Damit! Stupid cat." It was a moment of character, surviving this fall would show his first feat as genin. Containing momentum his right hand would rip the cat of his face before placing it tucked under his left arm. His body moving close to the edge of a branch. Kazu would reach out with his right hand grabbing the branch and using his momentum to change his direction toward the tree itself launching his legs on the tree only to sprint down the tree and leap off landing swiftly on the ground. A smile would spread across his face as he cheered for his first successful mission. The cat would soon follow with it's appreciation by slashing at his face. "Dammit Cat, i just saved you! How about i put you back up?" Kazu would give a cheeky grin before thinking of the ryo he would be getting giving the cat in. He then set off back to the Tsuchikage's office to claim his prize.
