Clan History: The Hinode clan was once a proud clan of warriors. An elite force for Kumo that would be sent out to a battle field where others considered suicide. They where fearless as they could heal they’re wounds so long as it was not an instant death. They earned the title of Immortals. And for a time where some of the most feared individuals on a battle field.
However and incident occurred one day outside of Kumo where one of they’re clan bled ever so briefly and the blood landed in a dogs food dish. The dogs leg was busted at the time and when it ate its food the leg healed within a day. And while the dog was healing the Hinode was powerless. Soon the clan began to be captured and imprisoned. They’re blood became a black market trade and the clan began to near extinction.
One Woman was left. The others where not dead but all the rest where captured and she was very angry. Song was her name. A 14 year old girl moved like an unstoppable force. Walls where destroyed by her and the enemy was entrapped into forests of death out of no where. Her father had been the head of the clan and his head had arrived that morning.
Within a month she had gathered as much of her clan as she could find and then the true slaughter began. In a month Song had destroyed the black market temporarily within Kumo and the surrounding regions. However she learned that no matter how many lives she took she could not be satisfied. And gave up the path of killing. Instead now she runs a medical clinic and a Dojo teaching the non killing arts.
The rest of the clan was free now and settled down in Kumo a shadow of they’re former selves. They no longer sought to kill others. Aside from a select few of the young they all feared a repeat of the past. To kill was to be killed and that was to dangerous a path.
Kekkei Genkai Description: The Fukyuu Bodi (Immortal Body) is a skill that requires the mixture of chakra flow and medical ninjutsu. By controlling the flow of chakra in their body, they are able to increase their white and red blood cell count. To a much lesser extent, clan members are capable of healing and repairing skin tissue, though complete regeneration is not possible. Wounds heal at various speeds, depending on the user's rank. As an added effect, Hinode clan members retain a genetic makeup that causes them to look much younger than they actually are. A person in their thirties tend to look like teenagers.
Genin Rank:
The Hinode member heals small scratches and moderate bruising(E or D Rank wounds) after two posts. Larger gashes (C-B) begin to clot faster after three posts, but do not heal automatically without additional medical attention. This ability does not work if the clansmen is physically exerting themselves, as the blood will not be able to clot properly.
Chunnin/Special Jounin Rank:
The Hinode member can now stop himself from bleeding out from any cut after two posts, though the wounds do not begin to heal without additional medical attention. The clansmen can now heal moderately deep wounds (C Rank wounds) after three posts, whereas smaller wounds such as small scratches and moderate bruising (E or D Rank wounds) heal in one post. This ability does not work if the clansmen is physically exerting themselves, as the blood will not be able to clot properly, nor will the tissues be able to knit together.
Jounin/Sannin Rank:
The Hinode member may now heal wounds while in battle to keep themselves from falling unconscious at the hands of blood loss after two posts. Small wounds, such as scratches or moderate bruising (E or D Rank wounds), begin healing within the post they are inflicted. Larger gashes or wounds that bleed profusely(C or B Rank wounds) reduce by 1 rank per post, clotting and healing over three posts. Wounds that are devastating, yet not quite fatal (S Rank) will begin to clot and heal after four posts. These times are reduced by 1 post if the Hinode can stay still for an entire post.
Kage Rank:
The Hinode member retains the ability to heal their wounds while in battle. Wounds that bleed profusely may be clotted after one post. Larger wounds, such as large gashes or wounds that bleed profusely (B or A Rank wounds), are capable of healing after two posts. Small wounds, such as scratches or moderate bruising (E through C Rank wounds), begin healing after five seconds (within a post). Wounds that are devastating, yet not quite fatal (S Rank) will begin to clot and heal after four posts. Staying still for an entire post accelerates healing by an extra post.
Drawbacks: The major drawback of this jutsu is the clan can not turn it off. If they stop using this jutsu the body convulses into seizures and unless they are healed quickly through intensive care or the blood of one of their own, they slip into a coma until their body is capable of returning to normal. Hinode clan members cannot receive transplants of any kind, as the blood of any unrelated entering their system makes them fatally ill. Due to the high chakra costs and their genetically smaller chakra pools, Hinode tend to avoid other Ninjutsu techniques. Hinode chakra pools are as follows:
- Genin: 50
- Chuunin: 100
- Sp. Jounin: 150
- Jounin: 200
- Sannin: 250
- Kage: 300
