D-rank
The sun was hidden by the mist, as normal, as Tsuneko left the Kiri Hospital that afternoon. There were regular doctors that worked there, of course, but a medical-nin was expected to know both traditional and jutsu based ways of healing people. Tsuneko often came in to the hospital to work as a sort of intern, learning from the doctors and helping out in general. Early that day, she had helped out an Academy Student whom had gotten himself beat up in a spar. Seeing the boy reminded her of how much had changed and yet how much remained the same. She had been forced to grow up right after graduation when Amaterasu had destroyed her village, and she had matured in the time that had passed since. The girl had been so busy with everything that she almost hadn’t noticed that the villagers had come back and things were returning to normal: babies were born, students sparred, and people died in their newly rebuilt village. Everything was the same and yet nothing was.
Having changed out of scrubs and into movement-friendly, stretchy black pants and a warm blue sweater against the chilly air, Tsuneko walked through the village. As was expected of a shinobi, she wore her Kirigakure forehead protector in the typical place, her white bangs falling over it. Her violet eyes took in the people moving in and out of the freshly-painted buildings, going about their day. Finding a bench, she took a seat near a busy part of town and people-watched, marveling at the ability of humans to adapt and change to whatever came their way.
