Sanosuke

Sanosuke

D-rank
With another technique under his belt, Sanosuke felt pretty good. He was getting the blood flowing in his body again as he began training for more and more kenjutsu techniques. And the more he acquired, the more Sanosuke felt as though he would be able to fight stronger than he was before. The strength and adrenaline he was experiencing from fighting and putting more pressure into his own body was rejuvenating. Sanosuke hadn’t experienced this joy in so long that he barely could describe it. Spectacular? No that wasn’t it, it was more like a feeling of a phoenix rising from the ashes. Sanosuke had to be sure that he did this sort of training more often. It was around night time when Sanosuke and the other kids stopped playing. Sanosuke learned about how to play a multiple games from the children and the kids made sure that if he was indeed going to play with them in their games that he couldn’t use any jutsu in his library while playing the game. That rule made a lot of sense because Sanosuke’s expert in chakra flow would have made it literally impossible for him to lose against these little kids.

So Sanosuke agreed to these set of rules and played with the kids. It turned out that these kids were actually the top of their class, that made sense because while he was playing with them they were pretty damn fast. Sanosuke had to use his chakra flow abilities as a handicap against himself by that while he was in his transformation ,Sanosuke made sure that the chakra was putting more weight on his body than normal so it would limit his speed to children’s speed. With this handicap on, Sanosuke was barely keeping up with the kids. That just really helped Sanosuke to think that these were Kumo’s next generation of ninja. They were the top of their class and as such they were pretty damn good for someone their age. Sanosuke smirked, to think that there was a possibility that a boy or girl in that academy right now could possibly be the next person to become Kumo’s top kenjutsu specialist. That was funny.

The games Sanosuke was shown were games that involved trying to touch someone’s shadow so they would be out of the game. The game was pretty much a free for all and once you touched someone’s shadow with your hand, then the person would be out. It kept going like this until there was only one person left, and they would win. The game required quick reflexes and demanded quite the bit of fancy footwork. These academy students were weaving around each other’s hands so their shadows won’t be touched rather accurately and expertly. This meant either three things; one was that these students were extremely talented, the academy teachers rose the expectations of the kids in the Kumogakure shinobi academy, or Sanosuke was slipping. No there’s no way that he was slipping away that much. Had he been slacking off in his training and stray on his path of bettering himself slightly, yes he was but it would be a cold day in hell before he was outmatched by some kids who aren’t even out of the academy yet. These kids were definitely quicker and talented than he was when Sanosuke had first entered the academy. Where these kids would eventually end up Sanosuke didn’t know, but he knew for a fact that those kids would be going far when they graduate. Hopefully, they might meet Sanosuke for some guidance on making it big in Kumogakure. The game ended in with the timid boy by the name of Peter who was wearing glasses to win the game by his quick reflexes. When Sanosuke congratulated him for getting him out last because it was between him and Peter, the boy got him by throwing sand as cover for his movements and touched his shadow when Sanosuke wasn’t looking. Quite the clever move in Sanosuke’s opinion; but the boy was scratching his head and blushing as Sanosuke complimented his brilliant strategy.

Smiling, it was night time already and as thus Sanosuke learned about the other games the children taught him. There was a game that Sanosuke had walked in on the children playing near the mountain. It turns out the whole point of the game was for him to get to the highest point than the other children who was playing with him There was a couple of times when that other child by the name of Leon tried to climb the mountain but Sanosuke struck the boy on his head with his fist to stop him from being something stupid again. Sanosuke actually won this one because he knew the layout of the rice paddy fields better than any of the children and such he climbed the tallest tree in the fields without any hesitation. Sanosuke was an elite ninja who was used to heights like these, so climbing this tree wouldn’t slow him down in the slightest. May tried to follow Sanosuke in his footsteps by climbing the tree he was climbing because she was trying her best to beat the boy called Leon who was mocking her claiming that she wasn’t getting anywhere higher than him. But while she was climbing, Sanosuke noticed that she wasn’t using the correct climbing technique. As such she free fell down to the ground plummeting. She was screaming as she was tumbling down to the ground.

Sanosuke smiled as he got to the highest point of the tree and leaped down to save the girl. When he was falling down to the ground, Sanosuke noticed that his chakra that was coming down faster than he usually should have. If Sanosuke didn’t do anything soon, he’d land in a nasty position where he might hurt himself and lose the girl he was trying to save to death’s cold grip. Sanosuke then went through a check list of his body’s normal operations to see if everything was okay. He wasn’t suffering from any wounds, and the transformation jutsu he was doing didn’t have any impact on his body in any way shape or form. It must be because of the chakra that was around him and limiting his movement because of the added gravity effect of the chakra cloak that was draped over his body. He had it just to make it more fair to the kids he was playing with and it was the idea of the boy, Leon so it would make it more fair for Sanosuke to compete with the other children. IF he didn’t modify his chakra correctly, they would plummet because of his own precautions. So it was simple, he had to withdraw his chakra that was going into his handicapped like state and he’d be able to control his momentum rather easily.

Taking a bit out of his chakra that was wrapped around his body, Sanosuke felt his body lighten more and more. But the thing was that he was going down towards the ground a bit faster than he anticipated. By the time Sanosuke would have took the excess chakra that was around his body, it would be too late and such he would have received a dreadful wound against him. Sanosuke might survive since he was used to taking hits like these. But the girl, May he was holding might not be so very lucky. Sanosuke had to take more and more chakra off from him so he would be lighter. But then again he might have to replace the heavy gravity like chakra that was suppressed against his body with light wind chakra. It was all he could do to prevent himself from falling. Sanosuke didn’t know if this would work but it was the only chance he had to save the girl.

Pulsing his wind chakra around his body, he was fashioning it around his body as like a cloak and making the wind cloak be pulled up because of the expert control he had on the overall form of his chakra coat. In a way he was using his pulling wind chakra like some sort of parachute. If he kept pulling the chakra above his body then his descent will slow down to an easy landing. So Sanosuke focused more and more chakra into the pulling process so that he can be able to land properly. When he did, Sanosuke was panting hard and put May down. The chakra process was hard and as a result he had to stop the transformation jutsu because it was causing him too much strain on his chakra like state. He was forced to return to his original form. That might be a handy jutsu that Sanosuke did to save May’s life. As such Sanosuke had to cut his time short with the kids and made them go back home so he can do the same. He needed some rest because that jutsu he made on the spot.
