As the soft winds of the lightning country weived through the steep mountains, sweeping gusts would make their way toward the village hidden in the clouds, swaying the idle flags and banners of the city. Amongst the wind was a touring shinobi of the hidden stone, as his black kimono would delicately ripple as he glared up to the sky hoping the huge line to gain entry into the village would start moving again. It had already been half an hour and the line hadn’t moved an inch, so as expected the people in the line slowly grew to be aggressive as their patience waned. This was especially the case with Xigs as he peeped over the line to see a huge supply caravan being inspected by what seemed to be shinobi who were guarding the gates. From what Xigs would know a major village such as Kumogakure was not stupid enough to let low ranked shinobi to defend the gates so sneaking past was not a viable option.

However Xigs forgot he was on a mission from his kage, and even though he had completed it he was due back to Iwagakure soon, so he had only half a day to spend in Kumogakure. A deep sigh would leave his lips as his exhale was followed by his teeth gritting. As boredom kicked in he wouldn’t take it any longer, as he began to walk past the line and continue towards the gate. As he took each step a groan would follow as bewitching eyes would follow his cut through the line. ”Hey! Who do you think you are! “ Similiar outbursts would be directed upon Xigs as he ignored the crowd, maintaining his elegant pace toward the gate until coming to a stop affront some cloud shinobi and the caravan before clearing his throat. ”I don’t mean to interrupt but-“

Boom.

An array of electricity would interrupt Xigs mid sentence as shining blue bolts would erupt from a seal within the caravan. Lashing out in all directions crashing through the wooden roof of the caravans, and splitting the earth and gates of the village. Clouds of debris would sweep the area as coughs and screams would fill the ears of those present. Hidden cloud shinobi would begin to swarm the area as they began to block the area off so they could surround the threat. However Xigs knew well it would now take an age to get through the village gates as this would be deemed as a terrorist attack thus the village would possibly be on lockdown. So he took this opportunity to speed through the cover of the thick clouds of debris, running past hidden cloud shinobi until making it safely on the other side.

As soon as he made it he swiftly sprinted into the shadows behind buildings before emerging out into the crowds surrounding the gates except this time within the cities walls. However the villages shinobi would begin to take care of the situation. ”Please remain calm and co-operate with us as we investi-.” That was all Xigs would allow himself to hear as he continued his march along the village, ever so keen to adventure through the city. Little did he know the lightning had torched the back edges of his black kimono.

A sole figured remained still, perched atop the edge of a roof overlooking the streets of the Hidden Cloud's bustling market district. The chunin's golden eyes surveilled each individual walking down below. He shifted his pupils from one man to the next, ever wary of the potential danger that could have arisen at any given moment. The Sasaki heir had been sent on the everyday patrol duty tasked to all chunins when no other mission of importance had been assigned to them. In some ways this had served as his day off, certainly it had been far less vexing than his recent string of black ops missions out in foreign lands. He was finally back in home soil, and whilst in Kumogakure he was simply to remain cover and act as if he were nothing more than an ordinary chunin on the rise. Despite that, he still managed to be awarded some authoritative position within the city guard. Though he shared the same rank of chunin with a vast majority of its members, he had been regarded highly among his peers for his service in the Land of Frost skirmish amongst other things that were not exactly shown on public record. Nonetheless he continued on with his patrol, moving to the next district seeing as nothing out of the ordinary seemed to be happening. He moved from rooftop to rooftop, jumping past the gaps at a steady pace when he suddenly heard the voice of another ringing through the device strapped on his left ear. “We have a 10-37 at the front gates, requesting the aid of a sensory type.” His left hand rushed to the earpiece, pressing a small button that activated the radio transmitter. "This is Sasaki Kyousuke, I am en route to your location." Immediately he burst forward, speeding through the village and making his way across to the front gates within moments, the black coat worn over his shoulder somehow managing to stay at its place.

Arriving at the scene he dropped to street levels, the eyes of the gate security already set on him from the moment he plopped down. The heir was clearly distinguishable from the rest, dressed in the subtley armored formal attire signature of the Sasaki clan’s chakra weaved clothing with a white and black outfit  whilst the others looked to be the more traditional Cloud shinobi, complete with headbands and gray flak jackets. "What's the problem?" He asked, keen to get straight to the point and save the greetings for later. Two of the men approached him and pointed to the unmanned cart whilst the others tended to the entering civilians. "We detained a suspicious looking man that turned out to be a shadow clone, he brought this cart 'ere with him and we've been trying to open and inspect it, but it wouldn't budge. Thought to bring in a sensory type to see what's inside..." The Sasaki’s eyes slid to the side, watching the cart whilst the man continued to share information. The original creator of the shadow clone had yet to be found, likely the clone's true image would have been hidden within the basic transformation jutsu, or at least that was the only explanation he could think of as to how he managed to evade capture for so long. Without further adieu he spread the chakra within his skin, expanding his sensory range a good distance that allowed him to figure the true roots of the cart. Suddenly he realized what it was and he knew he needed to hurry. With no time to spare he pushed the chunin in front of him to the side whilst his right hand rushed toward the hilt of his blade, Ryusatsu.

A bright flash of blue lightning momentarily blinded all those unprepared, seemingly exploding with no warning to those who had not felt the chakra bomb's flicker. Luckily Kyousuke had made it just in time to spare anyone from casualty. A seal placed within Ryusatsu had been sent out in an arc, meeting the bomb as it expanded and sending it to the void. The surrounding shinobi could only cover their eyes, and by the time they had put them down the danger had already been absolved. They along with the civilians had been left in awe, but the danger hadn't been finished just yet. "Stay here and make sure no one was injured, I've found our guy." Timed with bomb's explosion was one figure that moved past the many chunin present and into the city. It was certainly a resourceful plan to sneak into Kumogakure, but with him was the power of the Matagi Shingan that would allow no evil to do such a thing. Kyousuke flickered to the rooftops, extending the full range of his Matagi Shingan and locking on to the figure that had thought himself so wise to attack his home village. Out of sight from the streets he burst full speed until he caught up to the figure. All he needed to see was the very recent burns of the kimono that proved Kyousuke had indeed tracked the correct target. He waited until there was no civilian in sight, stalking his prey for the perfect moment to strike. When that happened he would waste no further time. He dropped to the ground, just in front of the man. Ryusatsu had already been unsheathed, held in his right hand. The heir pointed its edge to the culprit and gave his warning. "You have commited crimes of terrorism against Kaminari no Kuni, Kumogakure no Sato, and its people. Surrender peacefully and I will make sure you are dealt with justice, resist and you shall face lightning’s wrath." Furrowed brows and the intensity of his golden eyes would convey the seriousness of his words. He focused all of his senses on the man's next actions, anticipating the next words and movements to be made. Had the man not complied Kyousuke was ready to fire a lightning bolt at a moment's notice.

Feeling hidden under the guise of the hoards of civilians, Xigs would slowly relax his guard as he briefly gazed through the crowd. A culture shock enveloped him as he remained calm yet ecstatic, noticing darker skin tones which would imply hotter weather. His first and foremost analysis was the multicultural bonanza and how diverse the people here really were. Whilst he had read about it, seeing it was on a completely new level for him as in the land of earth there wasn't much culture difference. Secondly was the attire, whilst even his own (a kimono) was quite bizarre for a male let alone in this era where pants seemed to be the norm whilst everyone generally stuck to the colours white and red. It was as if they were the nations colours exuding a sense of pride. Lastly was their behaviour to a threat, as a situation which he would assume to be a terrorist attack; people didn't flee but head toward the situation as if the villages non-combatants have a strong confidence that they wouldn't be harmed in their own village. As if to say that 'we put our full faith in our military.' This simple analysis was made in less than a moment as he continued to walk through the village whilst also connecting two and two together as he saw similarities between the village and his own. Shinobi forehead protectors were worn with pride, whilst their wearers were decisive and well organised to the point where crisis management was fully functional, nullifying issues that would arise from the commotion. It was truly baffling as Xigs wandered through noticing the difference in architecture. Where in Iwagakure buildings were erected by stone and made well reinforced by stone pillars, but here the many houses were of different builds, seeming to be made of wood, whilst some where apart of the mountains themselves.

It was truly a beautiful adventure that had only just begun, as Xigs continued his walk through the village, as the deeper he got the fewer people were around him. It wouldn't take long for him to reach a dead end as he stood just meters away from a fenced off cliff. Gazing into the distance would allow him to see the beautiful mountains that would expand across the horizon, thus allowing him to increase his impression of the village immensely. However his thoughts would be interrupted as a vague shadow would begin to develop affront him. His instincts would allow his legs to drive his body back a single meter as a male figure dropped affront where he was just standing. Xigs would remain calm knowing well every action in another village as a shinobi was to be thought out thoroughly. Consequences could possibly lead to war, even if it were as trivial as a death or capture of a genin such as himself. Black hued lenses would size the man affront him, as the opposing figure held a sword extending it affront him pointing at Xigs. The man was notably tall and seemed to fit well with his fellow villagers looking visually unique. Gold iris' mixed with once again modern clothing, it would seem his luck would continue to run out. Not to mention the fact that the more he thought about it the hostility that was showcased by the man was already evident by his stance.  "You have committed crimes of terrorism against Kaminari no Kuni, Kumogakure no Sato, and its people. Surrender peacefully and I will make sure you are dealt with justice, resist and you shall face lightning’s wrath." Crimes? Terrorism? Surrender? Justice? The long haired shinobi would immediately grasp the situation as he realised that his actions of slithering into the village had consequences. Xigs knew well that he had to stay on guard but perhaps he let it down stupidly as he entered the village.

A deep sigh would escape his lips as he stood embarrassed by the situation, however it needed to be cleared up as he was already on a tight leash with time already. "Wrong. You've got it all wrong..." Xigs said slowly before slowly spreading both arms higher to either side of him till they we shown affront his chest, showcasing his co-operation and lack of struggle. "Look, I will admit I'm guilty of being here illegally as I may have skipped past customs, however terrorism? Where is your evidence to support it?" Xigs would remain calm as ,itwas simply all he really could to do. For Xigs had no combat experience with a sword, so he already felt disadvantaged with the crushing pressure of being in another village let alone how this single individual had tracked him down and narrowed him out as a suspect. Even though Xigs hadn't used stealth or some complex way of covering his tracks, for him to not realise he was being followed meant he still had a long way to go to being a full fledged shinobi.

Continuing to keep his hand affront him in show of good faith Xigs would gaze upon the man before him once again before speaking. "I'm happy to co-operate with you, so please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Xigs and I am a shinobi from Iwagakure. May I ask who your are? Whilst maintaining his calm composure, Xigs would keep himself from making any fast movements, staying relaxed and calm was his key ingredient to this fuckery of a cake situation.

Disappointed by being caught so quickly upon his enter, the criminal sighed audibly enough for Kyousuke to hear clearly despite standing a few meters away. The attitude shown by the criminal was unimportant, the heir focused in, his Matagi Shingan allowing him to predict the man's next movements in case he was met with resistance. Unsurprisingly, the man began to protest the arrest, claiming that there was little evidence to support the arrest, yet clearly admitting that he had indeed entered illegally. In his mind the criminal only dug himself deeper, the timing of the explosion and his entrance was one that the other chunins would have been unable to detect, yet he had felt it clear as day thanks to his Matagi Shingan. Justice dictated that suspects were innocent until proven guilty, yet being caught red handed turned the man into a criminal rather than a suspect. Kyousuke’s golden eyes were emotionless, save for the look of intensity locked within his stare. He watched the man's face, searching for any hints of the criminal's own body language betraying his words. Hands would slowly rise to the air, palms facing outwards towards the Kumogakure shinobi in an act that would ease the tension. No chakra was forming within the man's body, at least none that was being harnessed for the means of a jutsu. The man introduced himself as Xigs, a shinobi from Iwagakure, one of the five major shinobi villages. While it wasn't exactly illegal for a none Kaminari no Kuni citizen to enter freely within their lands, a foreigner these days were not as welcomed as they would have been a few weeks prior, the sudden attack by Konohagakure, another of the five major shinobi villages, made it so. He would need to interrogate this Xigs, illegal entrance was an act bumped to a major crime when regarding a shinobi from a foreign country. For now though it was enough to simply call back up and have the man's chakra sealed and arms cuffed.

A friendly attempt by the man to gain his name and trust would be ignored by the Sasaki, instead Kyouske’s free hand reached for the earpiece placed at his left ear, his sword and eyes still locked to the potential danger in front. “This is Kyousuke, I have captured an illegal entry from Iwagakure named Xigs with suspicions of the terrorist explosion that occurred just moments ago, I am requesting immediate back up at the commercial district's 24th street. Target is compliant for now." With information passed, he awaited the next orders to be given out by the higher up shinobi at the office, however only dead silence would be his response. Five seconds passed and still nothing, suddenly another explosion made itself known with a bang, this time it was a district away to the north. The Sasaki was met with static until finally a voice panicked voice came to the radio. "Requesting immediate back up at the business district! We have a 10-35, multiple shinobi down in an armed robbery. I repeat; requesti-..." Interrupted, another explosion in the background of the radio occurred, this time it was one that was followed by total silence. The heir clenched his teeth and turned his eye to the Iwagakure shinobi, contemplating the situation. Kumogakure was low on shinobi, the higher levels had been sent all around the country in dealing with both Konoha and the Jashinists. Whatever was happening would all be on him, and that meant he needed whatever back up he could receive. "For your crimes of illegal entry, I sentence you to community service which you will be serving at this moment. Follow me, and prepare for a fight." With that he lowered his blade and turned his back towards the man, feigning vulnerability, yet keeping his Matagi Shingan locked towards the foreigner's presence. It was time to see if he could trust this man. "Dispatch, this is Kyousuke. En route to the business district, will arrive shortly at the location." Back turned and seemingly distracted, he had set a makeshift trap for the stranger. In a moment he was prepared to turn around and test the limits of his iaido, if no attack had been made, then he could trust the man… for now.

Assuming no attempt on his life would have been made, the heir would gesture for Xigs to follow and jump for the rooftops. He would speed his way towards the west side of Kumogakure to the Business district and spread his Matagi Shingan to its full range. A trail of smoke would be seen by the two from a good distance away, and Kyousuke would sheathe his sword in preparation for the coming battle. He would stop at the roof of a tall building, giving them a vs tag point on the streets. Eight men, all rogue shinobi had been spreading destruction on the streets armed with a full set of armor. Two were hauling bars of gold to an armored cart taken from Kumogakure’s Bank of Thunder which now seemed to be in complete ruins. Kyousuke’s eyes would center to the shinobi laid at rest on the ground, there were at least six dead bodies in the vicinity, some of which had been present at the gates where Xigs had entered. Whoever these men were would prove to be a dangerous group to face, but not an ounce of fear would be written on the Sasaki’s Eyes. He turned to the unplanned back up he know gained, a plan was in need. "Four for you and four for me. I'll strike first, wait for them to put their attention on me and then drop down to sweep those distracted. Ready?" He asked, turning his face back down to the streets, golden eyes affixing to the four targets down below.

As the individual before the Sencho kept his straight posture, Xigs would continue to gaze upon the staunch man as he maintained the position of his hand at shoulder height affront him. Xigs who was by no means a pushover, let alone a person that would back down from this conflict. For Xigs had a good feeling he could get out of the whole mess by escaping, for of course combat could lead to something bigger than himself. He watched as the man affront him raised a hand to a device in his ear and spoke out as if they were right next to him. A light chuckle would escape his lips as he compared their communications with his own village. Was chakra transmitted telepathy not a thing here? The Sencho would find it mildly amusing that their shinobi would speak affront a suspected terrorist. Whilst he thought it a rookie error, he would still be cautious of the man before him as he noticed his eyes hadn't lay off him. Not to mention the speed he was tracked down in. Whilst the eyes of the man were filled with strength and a  level of stern confidence, Xigs could notice the man addressing himself as 'Kyousuke.' Whilst Xigs had never heard the name before, he could feel a vibe of oriental descent, which wasn't usual for the multicultural Kumogakure.

But in the meanwhile, Xigs would wait patiently as he continued to watch Kyousuke as he tried communicating to his ear piece. With a delay before he reacted Xigs could tell something was up. However it was before he was even caught that he knew the whole thing was a diversion. If Xigs had not been seen by the gentleman before him perhaps he could have found the actual perpetrators. A deep sigh would once again leave his lips as he waited patiently however it wouldn't take long for the man to finally speak again speaking of a punishment. And who does this bloke think he is? Fucking judge, jury and executioner? It was beyond Xigs how crime management worked here in Kumogakure, however community service? It was unheard off to him, however he would clasp his hands affront him and bow his head. "The sword's in your hand so I'm happy to comply." His words would follow just after Kyousuke turned his back, where Xigs would not look twice at attacking him. Instead he walked forward until next to the Kumogakure operative. This in turn would have completely accidentally ignored the test Kyousuke was giving, or perhaps passing with flying colors.

Then thoughts would begin to delve within his mental confines as he pondered on what he was to do shortly. However assuming they were still looking for a terrorist threat perhaps a shinobi from another village was a good idea for help in a situation such as this. Especially in the warring times they were in now, for it truly wasn't the greatest of times coming here as their feud with Konoha began to grow stronger. It was safe to say his community service was based on silencing the current threat, as Xigs allowed the tiniest of smirks to spread across his right cheek. The two would take off into the sky as their feet leapt upward, landing on some roof tiles before continuing on toward a cloud of smoke in the distance. As they ran, Xigs would notice Kyousuke coming to a halt atop a tall building analysing the threat below them. Xigs too would look down and develop a plan of attack however before voicing it would be interrupted by the man before him.

Coincidentally the plan Kyousuke had developed was the same as his own, as Xigs nodded to his plans and reached both hands into his tool pouch, clasping two kunai backwards and readying himself for attack. "Let's do this." Looking down at the prey before him he would await the distraction before making his way down.
