It was just a normal day, with nothing special going on. Fuyuko had just been cleaning the house mostly. It had been a while since either herself or Takao had the time to do it. She had been out and about a lot, with her own tasks and missions. While Takao was busy leading an entire village. She stared out of the window and thought back to the past, back to when they first met. She had never expected that she would end up going out with someone that would become the Hokage or had been the Hokage before. It came as quite the shock to her when she found out that not only was he becoming the Hokage again but that he had been one before as well. It sounded somewhat rude in her head so she had never said it aloud, but she didn’t expect him to be the type of person that would make for the best Hokage. He was strong, honest and had a good heart. But somehow, it just didn’t feel like he was the perfect fit for the job. Regardless of how she felt about it deep down, she was still insanely proud of him and considered herself extremely lucky.

Her trail of thought would be interrupted as a messenger bird would land in front of the window and peck onto it, which startled her in the process. She opened up the window, opened the small container on the back of the bird and pulled out the small piece of parchment. The scroll opened as she pulled it apart with her fingers. There was very little written on the paper, however, it was enough to make her realize that something of a pressing matter had happened.

Fuyuko please hurry. There’s an emergency at the mansion.

It had been a while since she had last had contact with the Fox family that she had made a contract with. However, if they needed her help, no matter the years that had gone by, she would help them. She Quickly put the cleaning materials back to where they belonged. Got out of her casual clothing and into her shinobi gear. She didn’t know the kind of trouble was going on at the mansion, so it was better to be over prepared than under prepared. With her gear on, she wrote a short note for Takao telling him what’s going on. After a final check if she had everything ready she weaved the required signs for the summoning technique and reversed summoned herself towards the land of the foxes.
