The upheaval at the death of Hastur had thrown many things in the village into disarray. The tyrannical rule of Hastur ended swiftly after his death. The new Raikage made his move suspiciously quick, eliminating any would be rivals swiftly after the death of the so called God in Yellow. Such claims as an assassination would be a death sentence however, and furthermore the young woman had no proof to speak of; in fact the unfortunate truth is that it indeed seemed to be a result of some hidden illness. One of the positive aspects of the new leadership was the chance for Aikiko to be placed under a new sensei, hopefully one who could further her studies properly. Aikiko dressed in full mission attire to go see the new postings of squads, assuming she’d be chosen and that her sensei would be there to greet her. As usual she was being quite presumptuous but when has that ever stopped the ambitious young heiress. Aikiko donned her sword last and set out for the Raikage’s Office. Aikiko’s pace was not going to set any records, but she was a student of punctuality as much as she was one of the ninja arts and she was always sure to leave ample time to arrive where she planned on time. The day was temperate, neither warm nor cold and a light pleasant breeze caused Aikiko’s hair to dance a bit. This was surely an omen she was destined for fortune and success today. While crossing one of the many bridges in the Village Hidden in the Clouds Aikiko noticed that it was one of those peculiar days in this place where clouds were absent, the young Uchiha paused to take in the landscape beneath. To say the views from this mountain stronghold were breathtaking would almost be an understatement and even one so purposeful and serious couldn’t help but pause to appreciate the beauty. Yet another good omen Aikiko’s pace quickened slightly to make up for the lost time at the bridge.
Aikiko had arrived at the offices and proceeded to the bulletin, and quickly found herself matched with a sensei named Hozuki Sangetsu. She had never heard of this man and this was both disappointing and intriguing. Aikiko scarce had time to consider the possibilities when something caught her eye. Mizuki is back? Why am I not her student then? She only has one … why is it this Sasaki Kyousuke? Unfortunately for whoever it was the young Uchiha Chunin was not a reasonable girl. The raven haired teen felt her sharingan come to life against her will. Her sharingan only activated on its own when she was beside herself with fury. The first time her sharingan activated had been a result of a mixture of fear and rage. Aikiko had killed her fear when she left her “home” leaving only the rage that seemed to mar her family’s history. The greatest of her clan were always afflicted with some sort of unquenchable hatred. With their great power came great imbalance this much she knew. Aikiko hoped to one day learn more about her clan and its ancient traditions. The rage had filled her at this point and the Uchiha teen set off to find someone who knew this boy well enough to give her a description. The raven haired girl had no issues finding him once she had the proper description from a (mostly) willing informant.
The young lady was tearing across the village in search of him with her sharingan helping her focus on taking in everything she could see. Reason had left the building by the time she spotted the first person who met the description she drew three shuriken between her fingers and flung them in an arc across the sky aimed for his upper back above the shoulder blade. If that didn’t get his attention her venomous words would definitely do the trick. Her insult rang in the air, her sharingan could see that the person addressed was a shinobi of some sort as normal people didn’t have chakra signatures like this. Aikiko stood at the ready for the inevitable consequence of her action with blade in hand.
